Brrrr...
Even though I'm wearing several layers of thick clothing, I can still feel the cold breeze of December.
One week to go and it's christmas.
I checked my watch. I'm sitting here at the bench at the park. Yuuko.. Ah, she's 15 minutes late now.
Another 5 minutes passed, I saw someone running.
"Nyan Nyan!!" shouted Yuko.
She stopped in front of me.
"I'm so--rry I'm laaaate." she pants while speaking.
"Uhm... I overslept! Ehehehe. Let's go?"
I gave a slight nod. We started walking..
"Nee, are you angry?" I looked at her..
Ah~ she's so cuuuute. Though the weather's cold, sweat drips from her forehead down to her cheeks.
I opened my bag and get my handkerchief.
"No.." I said while wiping off her sweat.
She smiled showing her squirrel-like teeth.
I smiled back.
"Brrrr.. It's so cold.."
"Let's go and have a tea.."
She grabbed my hand and started to run..
"W-aaaait yuuchan!"
After few minutes of running and laughing, we reached Miichan's family restaurant 'Tea Room Tane'..
We entered and managed to find a seat while still exhausted from running.
"Ohayooo~ Irrashaimase~!" said the smiling Miichan.
"Yuko.. Nyan.. What are you doing here?"
"Oh... just--"
"Oh, you're on a date!" teased Miichan.
Yuko blushed.
"Nee nee nee.. By the way, can I get your order?"
I looked at the menu.
"Orange pekoe tea for me.."
I looked at Yuko inquiringly.
"Orange pekoe for Nyan nyan. How about Yuuchan?"
"I'll have a coffee, please."
"Coffee for Yuuchan.. Okay.. Please wait a moment."
Miichan left.
I thought we're going to have tea? But Yuko ordered Coffee!!
"Oi!"
"Nyan's spacing out!~ Here's your order, enjoy!" Miichan went away, laughing.
"Eh, what are you thinking a while ago?"
"Oh.. Don't mind that.. By the way.. Let's get things going.. I have something here in my bag."
I opened my bag, pulled out a pink paper and handed it to her.
"Contract??"
"Yes yes.."
She began reading its content.
"Yuuchan and Nyan nyan are going to give each other a Christmas gift.."
She agreed with my idea.
"Okay, we'll be meeting up at your apartment." - Yuko
She signed our Christmas contract while smiling..

The next day..
I went to Sayaka's apartment. Saechan was also there.
I consulted them about Yuuchan's favorites and what makes her happy.
"Yuuko? Oh. She loves red -- anything that's red, she'll like it." Sayaka answered.
"What makes Yuuko happy? Hehehe --" Saechan whispered something in my ear.
I immediately blushed just hearing what she said.
I thanked the two and went home with a brilliant idea in my mind.

Christmas eve!
After Yuuchan and I eat our Christmas dinner and had a fun talk with so much jokes and funny experiences, we decided to give our gift before we retire to bed.
"Okay.. Here's my gift for Nyan nyan!" she handed me a large paperbag. I opened it.
Wow! Kawaiiii~~ My Melody~!
"Thaaaank you, Yuuchan! I really like it -- no, I love it!"
"Where's my gift?"
"Oh, here.." I handed her the paperbag. She opened it quickly.. Like an excited child opening her Christmas gift.
"Wow~ It's so cuute.. I really lke this.." She said while smiling and holding a red, personalized pillow with our pictures printed on it.
"Nee.. Wait Yuuchan! I have another gift!"
"Eh?" Her inquiring look made my heart beat faster.
"Close your eyes."
She did and I continued on my agenda.
I kissed her.. It was just a smack.
She was a bit shocked but she's blushing.
"I love you!"
I kissed her again. This time, it was a passionate kiss.

I opened my eyes. This is the best scenery.. To wake up in the morning while silently watching her as she sleeps.
I can still remember last night's scenes.
I can't help but smile.
"Nyaan nyaaaan."
Yuko's awake.
"Good morninh, Yuuchan. Merry Christmas!"
"Nyan nyan.. Merry Christmas! Thanks for giving me the best Christmas gift!"
Thoughts suddenly flashed back in my mind.
I remembered what Saechan said. "What makes Yuko happy? Hehehe.." The she whispered something..
