Yeah this is without a doubt the worst movie ever.

the only regret i have is that Ayu is singing the opening and closing(i believe) for the movie

When will they realize this just doesn't work? Seriously.. anime is often so over the top and... well, JAPANESE, that it's not going to work as an American film. If they made something true to the anime, mainstream wouldn't like it. If they Americanize it, we get this shit.

^ That certainly holds true. Although it must be said there are exceptions to the rule, but usually if the anime in question isn't quite so OTT. Monster for example, would have absolutely no problem making a Hollywood translation. But Hollywood probably wouldn't touch it anyway if they keep on going for the most popular anime/video games to adapt for easy money.

Finally watched it the other day. I think that if I forget everything I know about Dragon Ball, and imagine it's just a random movie for kids, then it's ok. It's ok for children, who might not care about the inconsistencies, won't over analyze, and won't care about the super cheesiness of it all.

OMG it was so cheesy. 

And I must wonder, how come almost everyone was asian, yet Goku had to be caucasian? O_o 

And wtf happened to Yamcha? Skinny blonde asian dude? NO WEI.

 In my opinion, I don't like this movie. I think hollywood can make it better and the story don't same anime.
