Reminds me of a girl I knew that got married in 8th grade. It was an arranged marriage and her parents didn't really give her the option of saying no.

She must be one brave 8 year old to do that on her own. Bad stuff like forced marriage still happens all the time, so it's good that the kids know their rights.

That's shocking! I didn't know arranged marriage could be, well, arranged with kids that young! I guess there's a lot I don't know about the world. But good for her, about getting the divorce.
