Haha... I saw those. In some of the photos I think u can even see the salarymen walking by staring at her, thinking "What the f#$?!"

I supposed they can't be tossing away the bikini everytime after a photoshoot! The same person can't wear it again so logically it makes perfect economic sense to pass it to another person for use where it may (or probably not) be noticed by the fans. And there are like thousands of gravure idols in Japan... no shortage of takers...

Dude, that's just NASTY. A more likely explanation is that the suit is a popular knockoff of a designer item.

Besides, let's say a bikini costs US$80. That's surely a small fraction of the costs of the photoshoot, i.e. there's no problem tossing it away after you use it. And if you did want to "pass it on" afterwards, which makes more sense:

* Using it at another photoshoot, saving yourself a whopping $75 (subtract $5 for cleaning and storage) on the $2000-$10000 budget for the shoot.

* Selling it, unwashed, to some freak collector dude for $250?

Here's a serious question to y'all pervs: How much would you pay in US$ or Euros, for a bikini from Ishikawa Rika's photoshoot??? And would you want it delivered washed or unwashed?

I'd have to have absolute proof that it was a bikini that Rika actually wore, like a signed letter of authenticity or something from UFA or, preferably, Rika.

And it would DEFINITELY have to be unwashed.

Like daigong, I'd be willing to go pretty high in terms of price. Dunno exactly HOW high, that'd depend on the bikini and which member wore it, I guess.

What u says make economic sense... but I would think that those agencies won't actually toss used bikinis online to sell, even if they can potentially earn them lots of $$$ from fanboys. It's an image thing really. What will normal people think of them, earning money through such methods? People would think that they must be really hard up for cash. Your explanation is possible too (that its a different bikini but the same model) but I still think that in some cases at least they are probably reused.

And no, I wouldn't actually buy one of those bikinis...washed or unwashed... sheeeezzz
