You're in for a treat - seriously. Their live performances are just unreal, so energetic!

I hope both dancers will be able to make it. When is the Expo again? There was an update on the official site yesterday that Gacha dancer 1 Mai won't make the gig next Sunday due to a pulled muscle in her right leg (must be pretty severe D:).

Mai's comment is basically that she's putting all her effort into a speedy recovery so that all six of them can give their usual powerful performance.

This made me browse through the Gacha Dancers blog, and I see Mai talking about having pulled a muscle on May 23rd - saying that all the other girls are helping out and covering for her - coming up with new dance formations so that she can still join in :S yikes. Hard working girls! I wish Mai a speedy recovery indeed~ She needs to rest up!

It's July 3rd for their performance I think, same day as Berryz Koubo but on the live stage, until the schedule comes out I have no idea what I'll be doing that day, knowing Japan Expo they'll probably have them playing at the exact same time xDDD

Err, I am double posting, but I figured out what these pictures are for. Thanks to some blog searching. Apparently, GS created a special side project for a recent gig at Thunder Snake ATSUGI. They are Atsugi city's unofficial idol unit: USUGI.

According to my dictionary, "usugi" means "to dress lightly". Just.. as an FYI

They sold a demo CD at the gig. The unit consists of KOGA, Hana, and Oreo Reona, their USUGI names are 勝子 (かっちゃん) [Kago / Kacchan], フラワー (ふらちゃん) [Flower / Fura-chan], and 昭和 (しょうちゃん) [Showa / Shou-chan], respectively.

The song is called "厚木でUSUGI" [USUGI AT ATSUGI]. Song is written by TOMO-ZO, arranged by Hana, and the unit is styled by Oreo Reona.







According to a fan review, the song is extremely wotagei, and it sounds like something AKB could have released. I'd love to get my hands on this, unghhhh. This is probably just a one off type of project, but who knows. Koga makes it seem like USUGI could come back at a later date. I don't know about you guys, but I sure would like to see more of this ;;;

Meanwhile, I can't believe this piece of news passed me by. Gacharic Spin were featured in a zombie film



It's called メタルカ-METALCA-
It's a girls band x zombies film, according to the description and (amazing) trailer. All the Gachapin girls star in it. The film premiered earlier in May.

Okay, so you can see the differences are pretty minor, G and S have different versions of Lock On!, Setsunaku Melody is only on Type S and a couple of other things I can spot but I have no time to write this and I can't really read it so arghhh XDD
I'll edit this later!! but on first glance, Armmy has been edited out of the promo video, but I'm pretty sure they're going to have the original PV's on this which she'll be in, a bunch of the songs do have (ver 2013 or ver 2014) on them, but a bunch of them do not, so I'm guessing anything they've redone later without her vocals is on this, but she's on any original tracks included.

Regular edition does seem to have more of the re-done tracks? but the selling point for that one is 6 possible random cover arts, even though they only show one, so who knows what the others look like...

I may go crazy and buy both LE

Gacharic Spin will release their first major single "Sekira Liar/ Tokenai CANDY" 「赤裸ライアー / 溶けないCANDY」 on February 25!

"Tokenai CANDY" will be performed by Gachadan (Mai and Arisa) and will be the ending theme song for the anime series "Tenkai Knight", which will start airing from January.

The single is set to drop on 25th February 2015 and will come in 4 editions, namely the Regular Edition (CD), Limited Edition A (CD + DVD), Limited Edition B (CD + DVD), and Limited Edition C (CD). All Cover art are now on printing
