Sometimes a good goofy comedian paired up with idols is just the right combination.

The comedian is 金田哲 / Satoshi Kanada, from the duo はんにや / Hanya (with Akiyoshi Kawashima)　
and at 26 years old, he is not too much older than some of the girls. I think that helps in some ways
compared to some of the older comedians.

Anyway, a fun performance of 真夏のSounds good!, as the girls keep a straight face while joined by Kanada.

The Official SKE48 Shop in Shibuya is Closed!

I figured I'd make a post about it because I and some other gaijin SKE48 fans I met didn't know about this at all.
From what I heard it'll be closed for good.

This also means I couldn't buy any Jurina pics for anybody.

SKE48 has a lot going on.....the members have a wide variety of personalities, the dances are quite good, they have a massive positve and genki vibe, and they get along well with their comedian bros. One clip might not change your mind, but keep watching them when they appear on variety shows, they are a great group:

well said, I totally agree. SKE shines mostly on MC's and variety shows. Their members really know a lot about each other so they know how to interact and make fun, even between members in different teams.

also, when SKE is asked what's their difference between the other groups they always say its their intense dancing. And that's always been true from the start, all singles tend to have high energy dancing, that's why they always say they sweat a lot lol.

So apparently some of our SKE babes redecorated some Gundam models for the Gundam plastic models expo!

Furukawa Airi "Chocodom" (The mobile suit's name is Rick Dom)

Takayanagi Akane "Cross"

Matsui Rena "Bababa Bazooka"

Churi's Cross is AMAZING. I want it!

Airin's is pretty lulzy. I'm not sure what Rena was trying to accomplish with the Bababa Bazooka.

SKE48 Hierarchy check:
- J > Rena and Akane
- Rie = Yuria
- Kumi graduates soon so she's pushed to the side already
- Kaotan = Ohori Megumi (back row, corner)
- Manatsu and Yuria were lower ranked than Hata, Masana and Akari, yet they were favored for a front row spot.

SKE48's Yukiko Kinoshita and Aki Deguchi spend some time at a child care center and have a great time. There is a video clip and some nice pictures, including the girls getting the kids to dance to 'Heavy Rotation'
