yeah i agree, she should release another album in the states, and be more like Hikki and not like these U.S. if she releases songs like sakura drop, keep trying, or passion i can guanrantee she'll go big here

lmao, she said in an interview that she actually did have a new microphone in the studio and she was just playing around at the end of one of the recording sessions and they decided to keep it at the end of the song

But those are novelty songs. Artists who try that on first go become one hit wonders and die off. Utada tried here best to steer clear of that. And when she made Exodus there was still a novelty of "You're listening to a JAPANESE artist". I think Utada wanted to aim at a certain sort of audience that would develop her into a mini cult. But her dealings with MTV or teen shows made her more of a struggling act.

i had a vid of her singing this song.. dunno if it's from the same concert as this one but she sang so passionately it was touching.. one of my fav hikki live performances..
