Anyway, a very good opening episode!!
Mayu san's character, Aki Kitamura, and Izumi Inamori's character, Riko Nishioka,
have plenty of situations that lead to conflict and tension,
making for a great start of the series.
And the battle between online sources and physical bookstores
is quite real- should provide some interesting story lines.
Japanese book stores are a marvel, and would hate to see digital competition
cause their disappearance ....
Onward to the next episode.... Fight! Bookstore Girl...!!!

So I'm currently watching the first episode (yeah, I know, it's late), but damn I find this funny. I especially like the assistant manager, as she denies everything that Mayu wants to change in the bookstore. I'm looking forward to a lot more amusement ^-^

As they say, S_ _t got real in episode 3 - Mita kun might be soft
spoken, but has guts for sure, protecting his colleagues and customers...

Btw, that subber puts a mark in the opening credits of each episode of "please do no upload to streaming sites", so if his subs are found on those, that is very disrespectful for the subber who put in a lot of hard work, and got all these episodes out to us within a week of airing. Many thanks to the subber for that!
Anyway, after a shaky start, I really liked this series! It was really enjoyable, and you got a good feel of warmthness out of the store employees and the local cafe and izakuya and Riko'san's father's place. It was very much a case of "big bad evil corporation" versus personal interactions, but is the way all these stores are going in reality, into online only. I thought the two leads were very cute, and Riko-san was an especially likeable character.
