Just turned to quater past 8 at night, in the Watanabe household peace is no where to be found...
"why can't you just do as I say?! Your so useless!!" Mayu's mother shouted at her daugter furiously.
"what's the point in telling her off, she doesn't even show any emotion" the dad sighed and gave up as Mayu's mum kept shouting at her daughter.
"she's so damn unsociable!! she doesn't even join in with the conversation" Mayu's mum glared at Mayu who was sitting down watching tv.
(Earlier Mayu and her family had the dad's boss and wife as guest for dinner)
Mayu's mum walks in front of Mayu and snatched the remote right out of her hand.
"hey I was watching that!" Mayu said annoyed.
"why can't you be more like your brother, you have no ambition do you?! Mayu's mum shouted again.
"just leave her alone mum, it's not Mayu's fault she likes that" her older brother casually said.
"it is her fault dear, she never does anything" the mum kindly looked at her son.
Mayu got fed up with her mum comparing her to her brother and says how she's not the perfect daughter, that she ran upstairs to her room and grabbed her phone, along with her wooly cardigan and dashed out of her house.
With tears forming in the corner of her eyes, she stops running and starts walking slowly with her head down after her parents ( especially mum made her feel like shit)
Mayu flips her phone and quickly looks at her wallpaper of her and another girl... ring ring...ring ring...
"hello?" somebody picks up.
Mayu bites her lip but answers.
"Yuki it's me Mayu... can I come round yours a bit".
"Mayu? Wait... what are you doing out so late?" Yuki asked.
"I need to see you... please" Mayu mumbles.
Yuki can tell there's something bothering Mayu, because of the tone of Mayu's voice.
"ok but come quickly, it's getting darker" Yuki replied.
"thank you..." Mayu hanged up.
It's starts pouring with rain as Mayu walks to Yuki's house.

At the Kashiwagi household.
Yuki is alone as her mum is working late.
Suddenly there's a knock at the door.
"Mayu are you okay?"
"your soaking wet! what happened to you?"
Yuki asked worried.
Mayu comes in, and takes off her cardigan.
No reply, only silence filled the air.
"come on let's get you dried off" Yuki insisted.
Leading Mayu upstairs to her room, Yuki turns on the shower for Mayu and starts picking out pj's for her.
"you take a shower Mayu, there's towels in the top cupboard by the sink" Yuki told Mayu.
Mayu gets in the shower.
Meanwhile...

Mayu's phone keeps ringing but Mayu doesn't answer, instead turns it off.
Mayu steps out the shower and Yuki hands her some pj's.
"Mayu... did something happened?"
"it's nothing really... sorry for bothering you like this Yukirin" Mayu replied with a fake smile, trying not to worry Yuki. But Yuki can see Mayu's only trying to put up a strong act.
"Mayu... I know your lying... you can tell me anything I'm your 'mother' after all" Yuki said trying to make Mayu confess.
Yuki hugs from the back of Mayu.
Suddenly Mayu breaks into tears, Mayu turns around and hugs Yuki back.
Yuki strokes Mayu's hair trying to comfort the younger sobbing girl in front of her, Mayu's crying on her chest, dampening Yuki's t-shirt.
Mayu tells Yuki everything and says sorry repeating it over and over again.
"shhh... don't worry Mayu you don't need to say your sorry... you’re perfect to me"
That night Mayu stayed round Yuki's and fell asleep in the older girl's arms.
I had witnessed an arguement between my friend and her mum, her mum was being unfair if I must say, so this is dedicated to her.
