Well, it looks like the time has come for my last post.

There is very little chance the program will ever come back again.

I'm certainly not waiting around like last time.

For me Ebimsu 2 never really 'worked' the way Ebimasu 1 did.

I really hoped that it would. But when girls started quitting (Shunka Ayami, Nana Ayano, Tsujimoto An, etc.) it was obvious something wasn't right.

The live shows weren't nearly as popular.

The reason? I thought Okubo had waaaaay to much influence on the program.

Highlights for me:

Nishino Sho in 2009 (she never looked better)

Ogawa Asami and Kasumi Risa's legs

Minori Hasune slapping the shit out of people

Kishi Aino saying 'chinpo' every opportunity she got

Rina Rukawa looking like every 16 year boy's wet dream

Yuma's eyes

Sayoko Ohashi's hair

Spectacular sets of boobs (e.g. Yuma, Minori, Shunka Ayami, Haruna Hana, Meguri, Anri Okita

)

Some stunningly beautiful women (e.g. Tsukasa Aoi, Yuma, Mihiro, Manami Yamaguchi, Rika Kawamura, KONAN, Tsujimoto An

)

'Cider Queen' segment of Ebimasu 1

Kasumi Kaho trying to force Sho Nishino's head between her thighs during an 'Argument King' segment

Finally, the girl who shouted "Ganbatte, dekapai!" (Good luck, big tits!) to Minori Hatsune during a 'Kawaii Koshien" segment.

Sad to say...it is not.

And also sad to say, it is like a kick in the nads.

There are many oppprtunities that the management need to do in terms of programming.

Some of you are mad because one of the reasons is Okubo getting more exposure than the girls, but give the comedienne a credit since she has been a good host ever since the beginning...but yeah, Okubo really need to let go of putting herself into some of the segments and had the girls some breathing space in terms of creating segments, which is the good thing during the OG (like letting Acky do some of her skits, mostly the "Acky Fancy Cooking," or "Report to the Lord!," or our fave, "Acky's Chocolate Party," or letting Yuma and her "Namida Recitals," tho repeatitive).

Another main reason, and I will agree on this, is the terms scheduling. If this aren't happen, if I were the part of the management, I rather adjust the airing time to just 12 or 11:30...

They can do livestream since they have YT.

THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!!!!!!

Sadly, IDK if they aren't exploiting this...

Hope they have some back-ups if they want to prevent the Muscat boat from sinking, since TV is now out of the list.

The time slot Muscats show was on was one where TV Tokyo lent it out to whoever wants to buy it. DMM.com used to purchase that time slot and broadcast the Muscats shows. So, technically speaking, if you have enough money, you can purchase that time slot and broadcast whatever you want.

As for what they air instead of Muscats, it is a drama called "ochanomizu rock". From the synopsis, it's about two brothers trying to fulfill their dream of performing at Budoukan, which happens to be the same dream that Kishi Aino had. Her dream was to have the Muscats host a concert at Budoukan. Many artists dream of performing at Budoukan because of the long list of famous bands and singers that have performed there. As a matter of fact, the first ever group to host a concert at Budoukan was none other than the Beatles back in 1966.

On a side note, I have been to a couple of concerts at Budoukan before. To be honest, it is really not that good of a concert hall, but I guess it is special because of its rich history.

It's not like they had much of a choice. All the earlier time slots are reserved for TV Tokyo's own programs so those are not available to begin with. Sure, DMM could try to get the 2 am slot, but I doubt that would really make much difference since most people would be asleep by that time already anyways. Plus, moving the show up half an hour probably will cost more money, which I doubt DMM would be willing to pay, their goal was to get advertisement for as cheap as possible.
