Are you talking about the new Sigma version? I heard they toned down the difficulty for that one. Still a hard game by all accounts. I can tell. Watching some videos of people playing that game can be painful. Not that I would do any better.

This 1000x over. I'm all for hardcore gaming experiences, they should cater to people who like that sort of thing and I'm not a fan for the most part, but NG2 is a different kind of hardcore. I only wish I knew how easy it was to be killed by off-screen projectiles. Doesn't help that the camera is the worst I've seen, flailing about all over the place. The other gripe I had with NG2 on the 360 was that you got all these great looking combos and a plethora of them, but they're only effective when fighting humans. Try inputting a 7 hit combo on one of those werewolves and you're gonna get beat down real quick.

I was playing the normal Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360. I beat it the other day and have the achievements to prove it! Last fight 3 bosses and no shops to recharge or save points between. The Obliterations and combos are beautiful, the camera sucks at times, and the werewolves suck!

I had one of the best gaming moments in my life yesterday!!!

Playing online in FIFA10 with some mates. We decided to do 4v4 using our own player created characters and it was 0-0 at the 24th minute. Ball passed to me outside on the left of the box, I did a trick thinking I could get past the defenders. Tuff flicks the ball heel to hell, gets past the defenders, he's in the box, blasts the ball..

It was the most skillful goal I've scored in my life. I go mad over the headset, my mates were cheering that we were winning but it wasn't until they saw the replay and that skill that they were laughing at it as much as me. Genius.

Thank goodness I had several save files for Persona 4. I "completed" it yesterday and things ended well and I was left satisfied if only slightly disappointed that a few loose ends weren't tied up. So imagine my surprise when I see Giant Bombs endurance run having more episodes than I expected. Turns out there's a good ending, but then there's a true ending as well, which unless I had known what to do, would never have discovered the first time round. And the other save file was before the 'final' boss fight.

So hooray for more Persona 4 goodness

^That was one of the few things that bugged me about Persona 4 -- the obtuse ways to get the endings. Without a FAQ of some sort, you're almost guaranteed to not get the best ending (which is the "real" ending). Luckily I figured something was up when my initial game ended, so I checked around and found what I had to do to get the best ending. Thankfully I still had a pre-ending save because, as much as I love the game, I didn't to go back and do another 100+ hours to get a better ending.
