Chapter 1

In military school, Risako zipped by the curriculum to become the best cadet coming out of the school, she was smart, self-discipline, and socially adept to her peers.  Her adopted father, General Jiro Nakamura was well-decorated and led the Self-defense Forces for 30 years before retiring this past year.  He saw the female baby as a way to ease himself into being a parent as he lost his wife in an accident a year after adopting Risako.  The man still looked healthy with his toned muscles and his face still structured from his younger years.

Her commanding officer was Jiro's student when he was a teacher, Tanaka Akira, had become a top recruit before injuring himself in the line of duty and lost his position among the forces but by recommendation, Akira looked after Risako like a sister and trained her well as she became top in everything except reconnaissance which her partner, Shimizu Saki, had obtained by training and studying.

The problem was to send Risako out to the force but the general made a new sector not sanctioned by the Self-defense forces and was meant for conditional hits in dire hostage situations.  Risako and Saki were the best and only duo to do the job but their suspect was a teacher at a famous school who was becoming a threat to national security with his invention of a fatal smoke bomb.  Jiro had made the decision for both to enter the school as students however Risako was not a fan of relearning old material.

“Father, this is not fair, I have to do homework again, in which I passed three years ago.”  Risako whined and he put his hands on her shoulders.

“Rii-chan, just do this for couple of months until the hit is called and you can always come back to the military school.”  Jiro assured her as he went back to sit at the table with his cold beer in hand.

Risako walked back to her room and read the handbook about the school as Saki had played with her Nintendo DS.  She sighed as she threw the handbook toward the wall and laid back on the bed.

“Sugaya-san, school is not bad, I will enjoy it.”  Saki smiled as she was still playing with her shooting game.

“Of course you will , you are still in school, I am out and have been suffering just waiting for my income from my past hits.”  Saki closed the DS and laid by Risako.

“You are so smart and yet so cute when you get angry.”  Saki giggled at the joke while Risako rolled away from her.

Risako walked to the bathroom and stared at the mirror, she tried to style her hair for the first day of school and felt uncomfortable just preparing herself for tomorrow.  She looked down at the floor and sighed at the situation.  She walked back to notice Saki smiling at her as Risako remembered that her hair was tied in pigtails.  She put down her hair and grabbed her gun to clean the outside barrel as she tried to swallow the fears and concerns she had in her mind.  As she put down the gun after hours of just cleaning the outside, she knew that if there was anything, her father would put more people into the school to help her.  She put her head on the pillow and realized it was five minutes before the alarm suppose to go off and just sighed again.

“Saki, where are you?”  Risako saw Saki doing her morning routine of exercises and joined her to keep herself in shape.  After half an hour, Jiro called both of them down to explain the situation.

“Risako, Saki, it is very simple, you have to do the job as soon as possible under my supervision, you will have to bait him out unfortunately, so you will have to learn both the person and his duties.  Risako I know you graduated last year and have been working under me but the money is going into an account that you cannot access until you are eighteen.  However, I have setup a fund for your school expenses like lunch.  Now, here is your uniforms and be down here in 5 minutes, any questions?”  Saki raised her hand.

“Yes?”

“Do you have a boys uniform?”

“Oh yeah, I will have it right away, stay here, and Risako get ready.”  Jiro ran to the closet to find the boys uniform as Risako went to the other room to change into her uniform.

Risako noticed the uniform to be quite girls and her wearing a skirt had concerned her but she swallowed her pride and slipped it on to notice the length was short and the air had become chilly.  The blouse was too cute that she felt even more uncomfortable that wearing it was way too revealing but she went out and just follow through on the assignment.  She walked out and saw Saki in her boys uniform with her glasses.

“Saki, why the glasses?”  Risako started to giggle.

“Well, it will add to my intelligence right?”  Risako shook her head and Saki flipped her skirt to embarrass Risako.

Both entered the into the security car and drove off to the school, the school was a mile from the location of the temporary secret base.  Both were nervous about going to a school that involved more social status than intelligence, which scared Risako the most because how she spoke was formal compared to the local people.  Luckily, once she got comfortable it would be easier for her, Saki was from the school before being transferred as a special interest to the mission.

Both arrived before the first bell and walked into their room as they opened the door they saw a female announcing the news and both bowed into the classroom.

“Is this Ishikawa sensei's room?”  Risako asked.

“Yes, I am Ishikawa Rika, nice to meet you my new students.”  She turned toward the class and introduced both of them.

Both sat in the classroom and waited for their lesson and Risako saw a girl staring at her, as she had a cute smile, and her cheeks were red as she saw something beautiful.  Risako turned toward Saki and pointed at the girl and remembered what it meant.  She was in love.

Risako laughed as the thought of a girl loving her was not in her mind but the girl was still staring at her as Ishikawa mentioned the new lesson in history.  Both just left themselves bored that they knew all about World War II.

Saki is still older but she is more advanced academically than her and this chapter will answer the second question

Also thnx to Pops for the overall idea

After an hour after listening to the lecture, Risako turned to the window and saw a person running out in the streets with the police chasing him.  She made her hand as a gun and try to shoot him with her hand. The guy finally gets taken down after shooting him with her invisible gun, she turns to find the class is over and the girl standing by her desk.

“Hello Risako-chan.”  The girl spoke and Risako pushed away from her desk and got up.

“Hello... I got to go to my next class.”  She starts walking toward the door and the girl slipped her a piece of paper.

Risako opened it to find a phone number and a message.

Hello, I really like you, I hope we can hang out soon.

-Airi

Risako crumpled the paper and threw it in the trash can.  Saki picked up the note and opened it up to read it.  She ran up to Risako and tugged her shoulder to gain her attention, she turned to see Airi with a smile, and just shook her head however gave a thumbs up to confirm that she would hang out one day.

“Saki, you are evil you know that.”  Risako smirked.

“I know but you cannot pass on a person that cute and be willing to be with you for one day.”  Saki laughed as they get into the second classroom to see a bunch of girls beating up on a helpless girl.

Risako grabbed the girl by the collar and lifted the bully up, she noticed the necklace she had on her neck, and let her go when her posse surrounded her.  The girl held her back her posse and she seemed to know Risako but Risako was not sure who she was.

“I know that you are here for picking our school's standards up, so do not try to do that or we will beat you up, if you plan to do that.”  She threatened and Risako's hand went on top of the girl's shoulder.

“Honestly, I am here to find bullies and I guess you are my first victim.”  Risako grinned as the posse bumped into her.

Risako went into the back of the room as the girl walked up to the front and stood at the podium with her finger pointed at her.

“You and me...”  Risako nodded her head in agreement and the girl ran toward the back when the teacher came into the room.

“You scared of the teacher?  Weaker than any of the bullies I faced.”  Risako whispered as she went back to her seat.

The teacher came in hunched and seemed feeble, he looked old but the age was because of his hair, thin and losing it at a fast rate.

“Hello, I am Kawajima-sensei, I am the chemistry teacher.”  He bowed and a person threw a gum at his head hitting the bulls eye.

Everybody laughed except Saki and Risako who were still stone-faced and the bigger girl of the posse walked up to both of them.  With her fist hitting the hand, Risako was not impressed, and she was grabbed by the collar.  Risako turned her wrist and she let go immediately, Risako unafraid went back to her seat.  She sat back while watching both the teacher and the three girls toward the wall of the classroom to read their lips and she knew it was going to be an unfair fight, so she hinted to Saki to get her gloves ready for the fight.

The note came right before the bell rang after he started to talk about the periodic elements, she looked at the note, and it was set for after school.  However, she wanted to change the location from the playground to the gym.  The girls seemed confused why would they would agree to the gym but over the speakers they announced the fight at the gym, which surprises the group.  The teacher wrapped it up and looked at the girl in the back and adjusted his glasses before he left.

Risako and Saki walked out of the classroom and saw Airi joined them with her arms around Risako.  She wanted to shake if off but since she was in her zone, she just left it on her arm.  Saki was looking around for the next class and saw a girl on the floor with everyone passing over her.  She ran over to the girl and noticed it was an operative for their group.  She knew about the mission and was here to gain the information needed to successfully to do the job.  Unfortunately, she had a bullet hole in her arm and was about to die but she left the knowledge with Saki before she passed off.  Saki picked up her lifeless body to the infirmary before getting to the classroom.

“Saki, wasn't that Michiko?”  Risako asked.

“Yes, the guy's henchmen shot at her and she injured herself while running away but they knew about her cover, so hopefully we don't get discovered either.”  Saki whispered while Airi was gaining the attention of Risako.

Risako thought about the situation as Yoshizawa-sensei continued with her math lesson and saw the rival sign on the girl.  She knew that she might bring anything to the fight so it could be a setup to take her down however, Saki can always scope on her free period.  She stared at the board and raised her hand.

“Yes, Sugaya-san?”  Yoshizawa responded to the reaction.

“I think you missed a variable on the second line.”  She looked at it and everyone gave her the stare for her to point out the mistake.

The girl turned and she saw the mark of the rival group, Saki drew up the plan to avoid the mistake of walking into a trap.  Risako nodded off on it and Saki went out of the classroom.  The two girls followed her out.  Risako sat in her seat and waited for the class to end as she was getting bored but knowing the strict rules her father set, she knew she couldn't skip classes so she just took the boredom as a way to not think about the mission.

The bell rang and she ran to the next class, where the teacher who looked much older than the first three smiled with her sexy figure stopped the running Risako in her tracks.

“You seem to be an anxious girl for my class, I know who you are, and because of your father you are here.  However, I want to ask you a question.  Have you met my sniper?  The girl in your second class who picked a fight?”  Risako nodded.

“Don't worry, we won't kill you, it is a setup to drag him out.  Your chemistry teacher is the rat in the whole process, if he fails, he will go down but we want to avoid that, so I give you a choice.  Become one of us or lose your income.  Either or, you will still be alive as long as you don't kill one of our guys.  Understood?”  Risako nodded when the bell rang and she ran into the classroom knowing who the other person sent to do the job.

^ well catching on the theme very well

Risako sat in the class while she wrote up some stuff on the board and she saw something that amused her.  It was the way she wrote, she had seen it before when she was younger, the note her father received about her adoption.  Risako remembered that her parents died in a crash and she left in a orphanage until he came.  He had a great smile and always offered candy when she did something right but never got aggressive when she did something wrong.  Risako did learn that he'd yell but never assaulted her but she worked harder to not let her father down.

“We will learn about people today, Risako can you come up.”  She walked up slowly and approached the teacher.

“This here is a student and she may not look like anything else but,”  Risako stiffened up as if she was ready to expose her secret.

“She is a young woman and they needed to be treated like young ladies, so stand up straight and face me.”  The teacher straightened her uniform up and asked another student up to join her.

“Okay, these two are a couple.”  She saw Airi making a fist and softly punched the table.

“Suzuki, do you have a problem?  It seems you have a crush on one of them eh?”  The teacher turned to the board.

Airi stood from her seat and walked out of the classroom, Risako was ready to bolt from her position but she closed her eyes and waited on the lesson.  The teacher wanted to get at how women should be treated equally as if they were a normal male/female couple.  Risako felt quite uncomfortable being with the other girl, who looked cheery, and seemed to like playing around.  The teacher pointed out the situations to watch for and right when she and the other girl were about to close in, they all heard a yell.  Risako ran out to see Airi come running back.

It was two guys.

“Ah the general's daughter by herself how cute?”  The teacher came out and threw her darts at them.

“Risako, get to the gym, they might be in trouble.”  She said while dragging the two men off to the side.

Risako ran toward the gym and saw the rival girl on the floor with her bodyguards.  She ran onto the floor and the bodyguards ran off into the darkness which left them two to fight.  The other girl took out her gloves and stick them on as Risako had hers on and the girl threw the first punch and the echo came into the building.

The teacher had stopped both of them from the upper balcony and down to stop both from fighting and Saki and the two bodyguards came out from the darkness.

“You five are coming with me to my office, now.”  She yelled as all five were glaring into the other groups' eyes.

The group walked down the hall Risako looked at Saki and looked over at the rival.

“Saki were they in the gym too.”  Her partner nodded and could only imagine what they were doing.

“I heard a yell and I wanted to run back to you but I saw her on the floor so I hid with my knife behind the ball bin until you came running in.”  She explained as the teacher looked back at us.

“Here's my room, everybody enter.” They all entered into a luxurious room at the end of the hall.  The teacher locked the door behind them.

We all sat on separate couches with Saki and Risako and the other three on the other couch.  She sat in her seat and she saw the nameplate “Ms. Yuko Nakazawa.”  She stared at all five of us and Risako felt the threat in her stare and wondered if there was any more backup to save them.

She got up and shook both of their hands, the three started to smile, and they became confused at the gesture.

“Hello Shimizu and Sugaya, welcome to our war room, you father mentioned that he was going to send two young girls to the school.  I offered him a contract to let him release you two into my care for this hit.”  Both still in shock looked and pointed at three on the other couch.

“They are my spies, meet Kumai, Sudou, and my leader Natsuyaki.”  The tall, the strong, and then the attractive stood up to meet the other two.

She explained to them that Risako's father and her were partners in military school, he was a captain and she was a cadet.  They were deeply in love until she had to go on a special mission and he got promoted to sargent at the same time.  They learned that she loved when she went off to Okinawa that she had kept his letters for four years until she came back.  When she came back, she lost what she saw in him but in her heart they knew that friendship would be in their future.

Risako remembered the note she saw on her father's desk and saw the writing style, she stood up, and bowed to her.

“Ms. Nakazawa, you knew of me before coming to this school right?”  She shook her head.

“All of you were in a orphanage and I knew I couldn't keep seven girls, so I took three, your father took two, and another colleague took the other two.  The other person is our help in case all things failed with his people on alert all day, all the time.  However, you were the most interesting and I wanted to keep you but after looking at your nature and personality, I had to give it to him with Saki.”  The pause hit the room with the stares aiming at Risako.  It seemed hard for most girls but to get it from a complete stranger of knowing them was scaring her.

“You were the strongest of the seven, you had potential in whatever you were going to be, you never cried when I picked you up.  The aura came from your body on your strength and potential skill in our group that I gave her up to be the killer.  Saki was the third best and she was always pondered on her mistakes so I left her with Risako as they would make a better group.”  The five nodded their heads and Risako took off her gloves and left them in her pocket.  She sat down to look at the other girls around her and noticed their size and personalities were different.  She turned to Saki and saw her smile.

“Risako, I wanted you come here to do the job because your father is not going to last too long on this world and if possible I want you to come to my group and gain your money you earned since your first hit.”  Nakazawa pushed the contract forward to both of them and decided to call her father.

She could only feels her body crumble to hear the news of her father being sent to the hospital for treatment.  She looked at the contract and signed off on it, the other three hugged the other two to join them on their mission.

wow i am answering your questions in every chapter i write XD

Risako looked outside as she turns to her new boss, she felt angry, enough to terrorize the whole room but in her she knew the calm would come after the storm and something good would come out.  She noticed the picture of Nakazawa and her father together, the third person in the background gave a weird gesture.

She remembered a guy doing it and the teacher disciplined him, it was disrespectful for a person to do so.  Risako pointed at the picture and Nakazawa explained that the symbol was part of a rival school's code for battle.

Everyone looked at the picture and Miya pointed him out as the teacher who was dismissed for improper teaching.  Miya later explained that the guy was a guerrilla tactics instructor at their school and hated the administrator.  Miya saw the whole thing unfold as the guy took some of their classmates and started shooting the office until a person shot the person behind him.  He gave up when the police surrounded him and was released months ago.

“So he is out there going for the administrator?”  Risako asked.

“No, he's out for the three of us.  I think your father was caught in his trap and he put him into a bad situation.”  Nakazawa replied and her blood started to boil.

“Is this the guy.... I have to sniper?”  Nakazawa shook her head.

“Unfortunately no, but I'll be honest I feel your anger, my father was killed by poison.”  Risako stopped her.

“I don't want to hear it, I know you want me to be comforted but I am strong and he made me strong for a reason, I want him dead but not by my gun but by his own, that is all I want to be done.  The guy I need to take out what is his name?”  Risako asked.

“Jim Katagawa, he is the mastermind, I will call you in to give you the directions.” Risako nodded and walked out with Saki.

Risako fell into Saki's arms, she finally felt the pressure of what she had to do.  The feeling of her guardian passing only made her angry.  Saki grabbed Risako and went into the empty room, she laid her down, and looked over her.  Saki was depressed but by looking at Risako in her weak state she wanted to do more.  Maasa and Miya entered into the room as they heard the crying from outside and they sat with Saki watching her pour out her emotions onto the table.  Maasa put her hand on Saki and gave her a hug.

“What was that for?”  Saki questioned.

“I never had a father and it hurts to see someone who is weak.”  Saki put her hand on her thigh and Maasa jerked her body toward Miya.

“Don't worry, I understand her pain but somehow you are a big softee.”  Miya laughed as Saki stuck out her tongue toward the two.

Maasa turned away as Risako calmed down from her initial downpour however all of them feared how long she would take to piece herself back together.  Miya sat her up and brushed her hair with her best brush.  Risako had a feeling in her chest, she never felt this way, a sort of calming, motherly type of touch.  She calmed down and turned around to see Miya with a brush in her hand, she sighed before turning back around to let her brush her hair again.

Miya could only admire the jet black hair she was combing, the deep feeling she felt for the younger girl was causing a knot in her stomach.  As she gently brushed the hair, she began to dream of Risako in her arms and smiling.  She began to smile too as the daydream continued and was thinking of something wild when Yurina knocked her out of it.

“Miya, were you daydreaming?”

“No, I was enjoying the moment, like you would know.”  Miya hissed as Yurina could only imagine what she was dreaming about.

The five walked out and Kawajima walked by with her usual smile and looking at his papers inches away from his face.  They looked at him until he walked into his office and noticed the door was still open.  The five stuck out their heads and witnessed the work that was piling around her.

“Jeez, when does he ever stop?”  Yurina exclaimed.

“I don't know”  Miya answered while they went to outside the school where they saw two other girls in sunglasses.

Miya and Risako walked toward the duo and saw them draw their knives, they lifted their sunglasses, and smiled.  Miya wrapped her arms around Risako and Risako just froze in her arms wondering what to do next and the shorter one poked Miya.

“Us two, we just observe, go away.”  The two ran away to the dark.

The five walked from the school to their secret hideout which was empty as they saw the abandon warehouse.  Yurina saw a note on the pole and she ran over to the side to pick up a catalog of all their furniture.  They looked at the furniture and saw the most updated stuff and picked up the phone to call the company.  The trucks came an hour later with all their furniture set and put together by the men in a timely fashion.  They sat with the writing pad and presented their ideas to each other with the gallons of fruit juice they ordered.  Maasa knew of the school grounds and saw the vulnerability of the walls along the girls' bathroom.

As Maasa explained it, Risako and Saki saw a small area that they could take out any person but the situation had to be set up to get them to expose themselves to the sniper.  Miya and Yurina went to the bathroom as they saw the two mysterious girls in the corner.  They jumped and put their sunglasses away.

“Welcome, we are Chinami and Momoko.”  They walked toward the gallon jugs and pour them a drink to join them.  They spent the next day talking about the plan to kill their target and talked about their life story.

^ thnx

Risako learned that all had a shady past as they were from the same orphanage as her however no one told them the story of how they were picked out.  She felt happy that Nakazawa-sensei mentioned the story to her and it hurt a little that her parents were gone but she knew what she had to take on for her to succeed.

Although she concentrated on Miya, she looked at the way she smiled, the way she played with her hair, and melted every time she talked.  Momo looked over to Risako and popped a paper bag  right by her.  She fell over and onto her drink, Risako ran to the back to find some new clothes, as she searched frantically a familiar voice from behind her spoke.  She turned to see it was Miya.

“Risako, I have a question.”  Miya walks up behind her.

“Yes...”

“Do you like how you look?”  Risako took a second to think about the question.

“I like myself, nothing I want to change.”  Risako found a T-shirt and turned to Miya with a devilish smile on her face.

Risako turned around and took off her soiled shirt and she felt the arms around her bare skin.  In her frozen state, she pressed her body onto the wall.  She turned to see her eyes line with hers, Miya clasped hand with her, and pressed her lips onto Risako's.  Risako could only tense up as she tried to fight it but Miya pinned her to the wall.  She heard footsteps and Risako pushed her off and quickly put on her shirt.

“You are quite a killjoy, you never kissed with Saki?”  Miya let go of her hands.

“No, I am not good with human interaction, I have been in military school all my life and killing is instilled in my mind and thinking of girls to be this friendly.  Just trust me, I never will like anyone.”  She turned to go back to the front and Miya grabbed her wrist.

“Hear me out, I know about you and I just want to be around you, I only asked for the fight to see you in action and I did.  So, I may not be the best person for you but once we learn about each other we will pair up and you might be left out if you do not act fast.  However, think of me.”  Miya winked at her.

Risako walked out and saw Momo's head on Yurina's lap and Maasa and Saki talking over by the juice area.  She walked over to the empty seat by Chinami and sat by her, she felt a hand around her neck, and saw her smile.  Risako smirked and quickly turned away to still see the four talking to each other and she turned back to put her nervous hand on her shoulder.

“You like me?”  Chinami asked and Risako pulled back her hand.

“Um....no....I like you as a friend.”  Risako gave a big smile and Chinami rubbed her head.

“You are too stiff, you are too cute.”  Chinami gave her a playful punch and Risako smiled as her cheeks turned a bright red.

Risako slowly loosened up as the day went on as the group started to learn about each other and they heard a revving engine and peeked outside to see a person on a old motorbike dropping off the package.  Momo sent out her robot and took it to the safety room behind the warehouse to see what is in there.  It was a box filled with pics of their past and Risako too hers to the side and finally saw how her parents looked like.

Her mother was a fair-skinned lady with dark brown hair and her smile warmed Risako's heart as she looked strong but compatible to her father.  The male character had a strict grin but always showed him laughing, fair-skinned and always looked good in a suit.  She looked deeper into her box and found a VHS tape with her name on top of it.  She ran upstairs and locked the door to see the video tape of her parents.  She popped the tape in and saw her parents holding a girl, Risako felt quite embarrassed looking at her younger self.  Every update was from crawling to walking and increasing until the final bit when they were off to trip and it went to snow after that.  She looked deeper to find a newspaper clipping of the accident.  She laid it down onto the floor and walked toward the window as she saw the moon out on a clear night.

“Mother, father, if you can hear me, I want to say I am alive and you may not approve of what I do but I want to do this for myself, so please forgive me.”  She says to the outside and heard someone knocking on the door.

“Risako is something wrong?  We all are here for you.”  It was Miya.

Risako walked up to the door and opened it to see the brown-haired girl with her arms in front of her.  Risako grabbed her and pushed her to the wall, she stared into her eyes, and put her head on the older girl's shoulder.  Miya wrapped her arms around the girl's head and comforted her, she felt happy that someone was there for her, not like a partner but a friend, a true friend, a person who accepted who she is and will become.

MiyaRii <3

isako woke up in the early morning to an explosion near the warehouse, she managed to go to the room upstairs with a window to see the event.  It was a block from the warehouse and she heard a phone ring by Momo.  She picked it up and it was Nakazawa calling to see if everyone was fine, she heard the explosion, and ran to the nearest paid phone to call them.  Risako ran down to see Chinami with her pajama on going toward the fountain, she whispered her name, and she turned to see her tiptoeing down the stairs.

“Riichan, why are you up?”  She asked as she poured herself a cup of juice.

“You didn't hear the explosion?”  Risako asked.

“I did but I thought it was normal.”  Chinami sipped from her cup as Risako stood there shocked.

She remembered that in her training that she should not be rattled by big noises but be aware of the situation.  Once she started the assuming, that would lead to her downfall, and possibly her life if she took the wrong procedure.  However, it haunted her that she was never able to get rid of her fear and she hugged Chinami for protection.

She saw Yurina wake up and walk into the bathroom before letting go of Chinami's waist and going back to sleep.  Then, she heard a knock at the door but Chinami got to it before she could and two people entered with their guns aimed at them.  Risako in a vulnerable position, put her hands up until Maasa slipped behind them and knocked them out.  Chinami closed the door and Maasa tied both of them up until everyone got up.

“Wake up you two, what are you guys doing her?”  Risako asked and she took off the masks.  She seen them before but turned away before taking a better glance at them.

“We were sent from Nakazawa to assist with anything, we should have gave you guys a heads up but Nakazawa seemed worried so we just arrived.”  Risako turned and remembered the two people.

“Takahashi and Niigaki!”  The six were surprised as she hugged both of them.

Risako untied them and told the six to get some ointment for their rope burns and something to drink.  Risako and the two women were part of the same graduating class, Risako talked to them a bit before watching them get sent out to their duties.  Both were personal protectors of the special Diet members before being fired for insubordination.  They were managing under their own name until Nakazawa asked them to take on a part-time job to manage one of the firms before going under.  It was quite a bitter sweet moment watching them two meeting up with her.

The other six were not ready to trust them as they did what Risako asked them to do but they still kept their distance as she talked to them about the situation.  Momo and Saki went upstairs to clean up the room and Maasa and Yurina went into the kitchen to cook something but the other two girls were in the back spatting about Risako.

“Chinami, do you like her?”  Miya said in a tense voice with her fist inches away.

“No, she is all yours, I was just there because she was scared.”  Chinami avoiding the confrontation but Miya blocked off all the exits.

Why did you let her wrap your arms around you?  She is mines and she should never be around other people except for me.”  Miya slammed the wall with her open fist and Chinami bowed down to the girl.

“I was just there and I guess she did that because... she was scared.”  She let out her emotion onto the floor and Miya kneel down.

“How did it feel?  Was it wonderful?  I am truly liking her but I fear if she has other plans and I never want that to happen.”  Miya rubbed the girl's back as she looked up.

“It did, she likes you a lot and I never meant to take that away but I wanted her to know I am here as a friend that she can always be around me.  I never meant to take her away, she felt comfortable, and I wanted her to feel that.”  Miya nodded and put her head on her chest.

While in the front, Risako learned of a spy van near the warehouse and the two captured were on the lookout as they got themselves ready for school.  Saki and Maasa put on their usual male uniforms but Maasa's eye caught Saki's undergarments.  She had her weapons on the side of the underwear as she slipped on the slacks.  Maasa usually hid it in her jacket but it always would get lost and comes out of her allowance.  So she hid her gloves in her pants and noticed how perfectly it looked concealed underneath the jacket.

Momo and Yurina were in their own room putting on their uniforms but Yurina forgot about the stove on and ran down to see the pot still in a simmer.  Momo in her usual peppy state, looked for a nice scarf to wear today.  She dug into the pile and found a pretty blue with hearts on it, she purposely turned it around to make them look like peaches.

Chinami quickly put on her uniform and bolted downstairs leaving Miya and Risako upstairs by themselves in the room.  Miya wrapped her arms around Risako's body with her head pressed onto her back.  Risako stood in front of the mirror to adjust her uniform and began to think about Miya anxiously waiting for her morning kiss.  Risako broke the hug and Miya landed onto the pile of clothes with her blouse wide open.  Risako stared at the body as she could imagine her opportunity and she put her hands onto her midsection and crawled up to her shoulders as they looked into each others eyes.

“Risako, I love you.”  Miya mumbled and Risako got off and walked downstairs leaving Miya disappointed in her decision.

all is fun until someone gets hurt :D

Risako walked down to see Takahashi and Niigaki with their usual smiles and she passed by them to get her bag, before walking out of the door Takahashi put her hand on her shoulder.

“Riichan, there is something I have for you.”  She took out the letter from her pocket and she scanned it.

Risako felt lost as she read about her biological father as being a genius, she read through the letter as it was coded in a language.  She unscrambled the puzzle and could only see the danger he was in as being hunted by all the parties.  She saw the date and it was when she was two years old, the back had a more complex puzzle that she folded up and put into her pocket.

“I don't know your past but I wish you luck on your mission on my behalf.”  Takahashi and Niigaki walked out the front door while the seven went out the back door into an alley.  From the alley, they entered into a maze guided by the light through all the mirrors.  Finally, when they past the maze, they rush through the tunnel, and pop into the school.  They split off to their classes and Saki notices Risako occupied with the puzzle.

“Risako, what's on the paper?”  She asked and Risako put it back into her pocket when she sees Airi.

“Hello, Risako.”  Airi spoke in a cheery yet shy voice.

“Hello, Airi.”  Risako waved and joined them with the group, she observed Miya holding her folder closer to her body.  Risako entered into the classroom where Ishikawa-sensei had an unannounced pop quiz.

She saw the questions in front of her and drew on it until ten minutes before the quiz was due, she wrote in all the answers and erased the illustrations.  Although she wrote on the corner a letter, it was her way to grade the teacher, a lesson she learned in military school to assist the teacher with their assessment.  Unfortunately, not all the teachers caught on and she was disciplined but once they figured out the grade, she would assist with their lesson plan so all of her classmates could learn it.

She turned it in before the bell rang and walked out to see Miya with Maasa and Yurina, Miya grabbed Risako to the bathroom.  Saki and Airi were forced to face Maasa and Yurina, Saki could catch the wink from Maasa, but Airi became concerned for Risako and she ran to the bathroom where she noticed the two girls in a stall.  She heard the two voices volley before leaving the bathroom, however Miya and Risako stared at each other.

“Risako, that girl likes you, right?”  Miya asked.

“Yeah, she is quite cute and shy, and..” Miya pressed her lips on top of the younger girl's lips, Miya pulled back and smiled.

“Airi is such a great girl.”  Miya blurted before bolting but Risako grabbed her arm.

“Miya, I never had this before, let me hang out with Airi, and you and me at the warehouse.”  She presented a ultimatum and Miya shook her head.

“I like you a lot, I really have these feelings for you, and you being with her is unacceptable.  However, if you decide to stay with her, I have another person in mind.”  Risako felt the threat and she could only sigh to agree with Miya.  Miya walked out and instructed her girls to go into class as Risako walked out with Airi holding her hand.  The other girl smiled and walked in with her pride and further disappointment.

The next class was a yawn fest, while Risako and Miya were having a staring contest, where it was a power battle between the two until the teacher broke her chalk and Airi nudged Risako to ask for pencil lead.  She looked into her bag and saw the gun in her bag noticing she brought the wrong bag to school and had to nudge Saki for pencil lead.  Miya giggled as she did the switch before school and she picked up her “work” bag instead.  Risako excused her self from the class and ran through the school to find her bag.  She walked up to the chemistry room to see Kawajima with a book and watching the experiments fail one after another.  Until the flask exploded and startled Risako to find her school bag and saw the bag to the side with a note to the side.  Miya pulled the bag trick.

Risako was confused as she looked at the puzzle and turned the note around to see the code and it gave her the answer: Kawajima is your father.

She looked at the scientist and shook her head while Momo and Chinami decided to ditch class while Risako hauled her bag back to her room.  Both decided to not look at Risako but they had an idea to what she saw.  They knew of the situation as their master and Kawajima were partners until Kawajima wanted to solve a puzzle that no other person tried.  Kawajima cracked it and took the prize from the partner.  The partner wanted to get rid Kawajima but when he joined Katagawa he was untouchable, he gained the protection, and was a lifetime member.  It was a problem for both of them but they knew to avoid until Risako chose to fight him.  They feared it might have been too late and they took the weapon bag back to closet with all the attachments.

Kawajima is Rii's father, wonder how she will deal with this?

battle between Airi and Miya for Rii? tho Miya admits she may love someone else!

The next class was a yawn fest, while Risako and Miya were having a staring contest, where it was a power battle between the two until the teacher broke her chalk and Airi nudged Risako to ask for pencil lead.

uh oh staring contest, their rivalry might be back on!

Chapter 8

Risako returned back the classroom with a gumball in her pocket, she sat down and rolled the gumball toward Miya.  She looked at ground and kicked it back with her shoe but the gumball stuck onto her shoe.  As she struggled to get the gumball off the shoe, Airi rubbed Risako's arm with generous care, and Risako flowed through her hair.  Miya stumbled out of her chair and everybody turned to her, she stood up, and got back into her seat before the teacher to start again.

Saki was listening intently as she received a text message from Maasa, it seemed urgent, but she never wanted to leave the classroom right away.  She looked around and took her opportunity to leave as she went to the top of the building.  She saw Maasa with a smile as she ran from the ledge to the girl, she picked her up, and squeezed her with all her might.

“Maasa, I miss you too.”  Saki trying to talk as she felt suffocated.

“Sorry, I never had anyone talk to me since I came up here.”  Maasa smiled as she lead the othe girl to the ledge where she had a sandwich prepped for both of them.

Both sat on the ledge as Maasa patiently waited for Saki to say something, but she kept smiling which made her nervous.  Maasa stood up over Saki and she pouted, Saki laughed at the pout and laid on her back.  Maasa took the advantage by mounting over her body and Saki looked into Maasa's eyes as she felt trapped like a mouse to a hungry cat.

“Maasa...is this how you feel?”  She nods and Saki grasped onto her arms.

“Saki, is there a way you want it?”  Maasa asked.

Saki put her arms around Maasa's head as she pressed her lips on top of hers, Maasa began to tense up as she started to lose her breath.  Maasa pulled back and in her surprise, she felt rushed by her own doing.  Saki got up and walked back to the door before Maasa begged her to stop, she turned around and waved at her before picking up a note.

Maasa,

I know you like someone, show it.

-Yurina

Maasa took the note and ripped it up in front of her.  Saki grinned as she saw the partner come from the corner with her school bag and laughing.  Yurina walked toward the couple and she tossed a bag of coins toward Maasa.

“I knew you had it.”  She laughed.

“What about you and the other girl?”  Saki shook her head.

“She has been busy...”  Yurina admitted.

“Why do you two have a bet on each other?  Do you think I was an amateur?”  Saki questioned both of them as she groped them gently making them both nervous before opening the door to Momo.

Saki walked down and laughed down the hallway until Yoshizawa-sensei saw her and she presented a note to her which allowed her to see Risako in the gym.  Risako and Airi were there to talk about their relationship and Miya sitting in the dark on the bleachers.  Saki sat next to the girl and put her hand on her thigh.

“Don't worry, she is quite a person once you know her.”  Miya knocked it away.

“Why does Airi have here?  Risako and I kissed but...” Chinami sat behind her and put her arms onto Miya.

“Miya, Risako knows you like her but she has to save Airi, she has something to do as part of her training.  She may not show it but one night she will ask you to hold her and that will give you the answer.”  Saki whispered as Chinami kissed Miya on the cheek.

Miya sighed and went back into her sulking about Risako and Airi's current relationship with each other.  While Chinami and Saki walked back into hall where they saw a bunch of girls over a person.  It was Ishikawa-sensei with a cut on the arm and the attacker was running away, both followed the guy and Chinami threw a smoke bomb at the person.

Saki ran after the attacker and slide to take out the legs, she took off the mask of the person, and a man with a scar on his cheek threw a punch.  Risako blocked with her leg and knocked him out cold, she dig into his pocket and saw ID card.  She threw it outside and it exploded in mid air, a Katagawa assassin.

Miya, Chinami, Saki, and Risako stared at each other knowing the situation but they knew Ishikawa-sensei could live if she told him anything but now he was unconscious and in their control.  They picked him up and tied him to the chair in the janitor room to think of a way to make him speak.  Nakazawa came from behind and looked at the guy and nodded.

“Good job group, go take care of Ishikawa, and I will take it from here.”  The four went back to see on Ishikawa's condition, she had a small cut and a sprained ankle.  Luckily it wasn't any worst or she would have been killed.

Another good chapter.

Lucky escape for Ishikawa!

“Miya, Risako knows you like her but she has to save Airi, she has something to do as part of her training.  She may not show it but one night she will ask you to hold her and that will give you the answer.”  Saki whispered as Chinami kissed Miya on the cheek.

Chapter 9

Risako led the group out to the main hall and as she tried to seek out Airi, Miya jumped on top of Risako causing to fall forward.  Her wrists were caught under her and she heard a crack.  Risako felt the sharp pain in her right wrist and sat down in the empty hallway trying to adjust her wrist.  Then, the bell rang as Risako dusted herself up and was surprised by Airi who was right behind her.

“You missed class, you need me to help you catch up?”  Airi asked as Miya was being constrained by Chinami.

“Don't worry, I can always talk to the teacher, I have no fear.”  Airi waved bye as Miya fought out of the girl's control.

Risako walked toward the bathroom to look at the wrist and entering the bathroom she saw Momo and Yurina in a stall talking to each other.  Risako leaned in to listen to the conversation but Miya came in and saw Risako eavesdropping.  Miya walked toward the sink to wash her face and Risako stood behind her to confront her.

“What do you want?  You have Airi, you should be happy.”  Miya shrugged her off and Risako hugged her from behind.

Risako knew that Miya was the only person who could save her from anything, Saki was a great partner but her knowledge of combat was still in the beginning stage.  Miya sighed and closed her eyes to regain her composure.

“Riichan, don't get me wrong, I wanted you for myself and I still do.  However, I know how much you love her that you would save her instead of me but you did it because it is your duty to protect right?”  She nodded.

“Miya, I had an experience once with a good friend in military school...”  The bell rang and Miya left before Risako could start the story knowing the next class started.

Risako walked in and remembered the time her best friend was taken under her supervision.  It was four years back that she had to watch over a recruit who had been disciplined for tardiness.  She knew that her constant tardiness was because of the distance from the barracks to the classroom so she decided to make her slim down and be more alert.  The first month she pushed her hard to get to through the exercises and by the time the second month came by she was rolling and becoming a better student until the night before finals.  She came back after basic training to a bunch of older soldiers who were not impressed by her new ways.  They beat her to death and Risako raged over it until she finally broke.  The five people were tortured and were left in the wilderness for three days before running back to camp.  The commanding officers  sent her into a ward to be evaluated but found no psychological problem.  Her father told her to stay in the mess room for the week as punishment.

That day she promised that whoever she protects, she will not get harmed, it was sworn onto her undershirt.  She would never let anyone touch her friends, if they did it was going to be hellish.

The final bell rang and Miya walked with Risako out of class and Airi joined them.  Miya held back her anger and walked with Chinami instead who was offering to pay for everybody's order.  However, Airi and Risako went to Airi's apartment to keep her company until her parents came home.

The rest of the gang went back to the warehouse where their food arrived but the atmosphere was silenced as Nakazawa appeared in front of them.

“I know you guys are comfortable here but Risako might be in danger being with that girl.  You guys are going to have to keep watch and support her if needed.”  Miya stood up and swallowed the bite she took.

“I want to be the lone person to watch her.”  Nakazawa thought about leaving Miya alone but knew of the risk and sent Momo with her as backup.

The two sat behind a bush watching the apartment building, with only the snacks in hand, they took turns to watch out for any problems.  Momo took the binoculars and intently looked at the building.  Miya stared at the sky and paused to admire the cloud shapes in the evening.

“Miya, Risako and you make a good couple.”  Momo murmured as Miya turned away.

“Risako is jealous of you.”  Miya slouched down even farther.

“She knows that if Airi didn't come into the picture you two would be the best couple out of all of us.”  Momo giggled as she saw two people entered into the apartment next to Airi's.

Miya could only sigh as she didn't know what to say but for Risako's sake she would let them go be as they are.  However, a radio alert came over to them and they ran toward the building as they saw a struggle at the car.  Miya laid her trap to slow down the car and Momo threw her dust toward the car.  Miya ran up to see the two budging their way in and attacked both before the two came out.  She felt overmatched until a kendon stick hit him squarely on the head.  Airi had a weapon skill, Risako ran over to Miya to tend toward her bleeding lip.  Airi finished off the two and watched the car drive off as Momo couldn't contain the kidnappers.

Airi watched as the car drove away and gathered up her kendo sticks and declared herself part of the team but Risako stopped her.

“Airi, no, this is too dangerous.”  Airi flashed her badge.

“You thought I was a normal student but I had been undercover to stop you from the assassination of Katagawa.”  Risako was taken a back as she tried to clear up the mission as a rescue mission.  Airi gathered up all the sticks and carried them to the warehouse in the middle of the city.

Airi knew that if everyone was against her, she would know with the other people within the group.

Chapter 10

Airi entered into the warehouse to see the wide space filled with couches and the food resources.  Takahashi and Niigaki took Airi into the back while the rest lounged around in the front.  Risako walked toward the back to hear what they were talking about, as she leaned in, Miya surprised her.

“Miya, what they could be talking about?”  Risako asked as she leaned in closer.

“Riichan, they are looking through everything, the thing is that you brought her here, and it be on your head if we don't succeed.”  Risako ignored the warning and kept listening in.

She heard the noises in the back and got to the thin wall, it seemed calmer than she expected, all Airi was mentioning that they needed the person alive.  Risako felt a knot in her stomach in her anxious state she ran to the soda machine and filled up a cup of orange soda.  She kept it close her, sipping it at a turtle's pace, until Airi came out with the two bodyguards.

“Riichan, were you a good girlfriend?”  Airi asked and everybody turned toward the couple as Airi patted Risako's head.

“Yes....”  Risako walked away with cup in hand.

Airi followed Risako to the corner and Miya followed her but Chinami held her back before she did anything to destroy the situation.  Risako usually wanted her space especially when she felt embarrassed by the scene.  She walked to the back and found the empty space.  She sat there sipping more of the orange soda and looking at the sunlight piercing through the window, she could feel the warmth of the room.  Airi entered into the space and Risako leaned back looking at the ceiling.  Airi jumped onto the soft cushion and rolled into her.

“Riichan, you are always so serious, you never feel like you are having fun.”  Airi nudged her and she rolled to the otherside.

“It's that...nevermind.”  Risako threw the empty cup across the room and Airi left her hand on her shoulder.

“You can tell me everything.”  Airi scooted up closer and smiled.

“I am not a people person, I like to keep my distance between friends and closer people, I like you a lot but I cannot show it as it is a sign of weakness.  If there was anything I could offer you, I would ask you to stay away when the time comes.  I know who you are and what you are here to do, but don't stop it.”  Risako got up and walked out from the back.  She headed upstairs and began her meditation.

Airi walked out and saw Miya in front of her, Airi covered her face in defense of what she expected to be blows but instead a hug.

“Why?”  Airi asked.

“I can't help it, Riichan has always been like that, I remembered one day when we were in the orphanage, she would sit in the corner watch the wall.  I walked over and she was intently watching the spider walk up the wall.  She stood up and tried to imitate that, eventually she got herself up 5 feet from the floor with just pure strength.”  Airi gasped at the event.

“She is quite at peace when she is alone.”  Miya nodded.

“I even tried pursuing her but she pushed me away because of you.”  She looked to the other girls and see them nodding their heads.

Airi was impressed by Risako's actions as a youngster and looking at her door, she saw the white paint fresh from painting and nothing else on it.  She knocked and the door opened up to a whitewash room with an area for her school clothes and work clothes.  She was still in her meditation stance as Airi took a step forward, she turned and smiled.

“You need something?”  She asked as she opened the window to the view of the city.

“No, I wanted to see your room.”  She giggled as Airi seemed shocked by the lack of items many girls would carry around.

“Well, I'll be in the shower and that means no peeking.”  Risako took her change of clothes to the restroom as Airi closed the door to her room and could only feel the plainness of her.

The other six girls decided to research on Airi a little more to see her background and found her accomplishments to be quite full and it checked out for them as they were impressed by her weapon skills.  Chinami saw the kendo stick and looked at the signature and it was quite old as it was a gift.

“That one is owned by a famous master in Okinawa, I need to find food before I start fainting.” Airi said as she looked through the menu and pondered on her and the others' decision.

^ it'll be answered in this chapter XD

Chapter 11

Airi's background was nearly the same as the other seven with the only exception of her parents' gave it off to the police captain's family before she could ever get to the orphanage.  Her father swore that his only daughter would never get into the force until her mother was kidnapped at gunpoint.  Her father made a decision to change the whole career of his daughter.  He decided to bait them into letting go the mother as she was ten.  Once the deal was done, he took a very close approach and once she knew what they were going to do, the crew stepped in.  Airi flipped the leader over and the others surrender right after.  Her mother in shock and disbelief, divorced her father, and she wanted to stay with him while the mother married a wealthy man in the United States.

As Airi could remember of her mother was the envelope she left for her and tears soaked through the packaging.  The one last time she hugged her she could only say that she was now motherless.  Her father enrolled her into the academy and passed with flying colors but was only limited to undercover work as the protection is always secured until the present where she knew the enemy was lurking.  Then, something always caught her eye as she couldn't admit her feelings for girls.  She had injured every guy on the force if she felt threatened.  Her father of course grew suspicious and saw her being comfortable with another recruit, she elected herself transferred where under her uncle's guidance, she nabbed the most stings ever in the district.  However, it was what she was seeking that was the clue and the help it was needed for her.

She decided to enter into school as a student and an observer of the Kawajima and Katagawa.  Then, she found a girl older who was greatly into her emotions and her vulnerable state: Yajima Maimi.  Maimi found the younger girl to be cute and easy prey for her to date.  As they first met, Airi saw the strong and yet clumsy Maimi show off her control but inside she knew her faults.  They spent their whole nights studying and tossing around gossip as normal girls do until their 3rd month anniversary in the fall, the cool autumn evening Airi had a kendo practice to attend.  Airi had been training for a tournament and the day to qualify was on the anniversary date.

She ran to the dojo and saw Maimi on her way to her destination as they spoke Maimi leaned in and pecked her on the cheek.  Airi's head exploded as she felt excited and amazed that anybody especially a girl would give her first kiss.  Airi couldn't stop smiling under the mask as she blew through the competition.  They became inseparable until she received news of seven new students.  Airi felt bad to break up with her because of her job and to reveal it would leave her in more danger than before.  The night before the next school year started, she told Maimi to meet her in the park and the heartfelt feelings became crumbled as she gave a last kiss goodbye to her only girlfriend.  Maimi wasn't sure until the first day she came back and saw her with another girl.  Maimi went crazy as she observed everything and just couldn't put the conclusion together.  However, she took an opportunity when she was away to spy on Airi as she was being distanced from the fight.

“Hey, Airi.”

“Oh, Maimi-chan why are you here?”  Airi acting surprised.

“I wanted to see your new girlfriend.”  Maimi sounded conceded as she watch the fight between Miya and Risako.

“Maimi, don't worry about me.”  Airi looked to see the fight had ended and Maimi readying herself.

“I am not worried about you, you are done, I have to fight her.”  Maimi grew angry as she began to grow her hate for Risako.

“Don't do it, I beg of you.”

“Will you be my girlfriend, if I beat her?”

“No.”

“So, you would say she would win?”  Maimi punching her open hand with her fist.

“I don't know, I only just got to know about her.”  Maimi went away as Airi sighed a breath of relief as Maimi didn't know the whole story.

Eventually, she found out about Risako true power as she witnessed the fight against the unknown characters.  She was ready to fight but she waited until Risako would be healed and she knew when the day was going to come.

~

Risako woke up from her nap to see everyone having their take-out dinner.  Risako grabbed her box and sat near Airi.  Airi smiled as Miya grew more jealous of Airi taking her girl away and scooting toward the clueless Chinami.  Chinami turned to kiss Miya on the cheek with her oily lip and the two other couples laughed at the amusement of the love triangle.

“Riichan, you want me to get you a drink?”  Airi asked as she stood up to the fountain and Miya followed suit.

Miya stood behind her and Airi turned into Miya spilling the cup onto herself making Risako to help Airi.  Risako could only shake her head as she took her upstairs to the bathroom to clean herself up.  Chinami walked up to Miya and took her to the back.

“Miyabi, why pick on Airi?  Risako has chosen who she wants.”  Chinami scolds Miya.

“I know but I can't stand it”  Miya turned away with her arms crossed.

“Miya-chan, I have something for you though.”  She wiped her mouth with the napkin and leaned Miya on the wall.

“What are you...”  Chinami gave her a kiss on the lips.

“Why are you looking shocked?  Maybe you should feel more comfortable.”  Chinami rubbed the bare thighs of the younger girl and she could hear the moaning of excitement.

“Chinami, you are going to make me scream if you do that.”  She moved her hands from the thighs to her stomach.

“Better?  If you want the whole experience meet me upstairs and we can kiss and cuddle all night so you can forget about her for one night.”  Miya smiled and went back to the front seeing Airi in one of Risako over-sized shirts.

Chapter 12

Miya was still angered by Airi's antics throughout the whole night but when Miya saw Chinami in her bed, she could only wonder why Chinami was making such a move.  However, the opportunity couldn't be passed up and Miya jumped in to feel such warmth coming from the bed.  The cooling temperature was complimenting to their stuffy room and Chinami's arm around Miya was making her more nervous.

“Chinami, I hope you are not...”  Miya could only imagine what she was feeling but paused to say the word.

“Miya, I am in my pajamas unless you want me to take that off.”  Miya shook her head as she rolled out and walk into her room.

She took out her pajamas and changed into the sweats as across was Airi and Risako talking to each other.  Airi closed the door and Miya crept closer but the door was muffling the sound so she went back to Chinami's room.  Chinami has rolled over to the other side and took over the whole spread.

“Chinami move over.”  As Miya tried to push her she found a soft part and she could only stare at her hand.  She tried to prevent yelling but freaking out wasn't helping anyone to stop her nervous stomping.

“Miya, you have them too right?”  Chinami laughed as she sat up welcoming the younger girl under the sheets.

“Sorry, I never really felt another girl's chest before.”  Miya nervously giggling before sliding down into the bed.

“Seriously?  It's no problem.  I am jealous of how other people look like, also Maasa has been trying to hide them as Saki kept staring at them.”  Chinami laughed as Miya tries to sleep.

In the other room, Risako hears the warning of Airi's ex and Airi's experience with her.  Risako felt unsecured knowing the circumstances of how she broke up with her and walked into the bathroom to regain her personal time.  Couple minutes after, a knock at the door to see a sleepy Saki walk in and sees Risako with her head down.

“Riichan, you were always so cool and now when emotions come in you get scared.”  Saki sat next to her and Risako took a deep breath.

“I don't get it.”  Risako admits.

“Trust me, no one ever gets it, if your try it'll get harder.”  Saki comforted the younger girl in her arms.

Risako never felt the vulnerability of being torn before and Airi offered her the gentle and motherly side.  Miya had the aggressive, friendly approach to their relationship.  Saki could only muster a smile as she knew what heartbreak has been as she been dumped twice before going to military school at age 15.  She could only comfort Risako as she let every frustration out of her body.  Saki piggybacked her to her own room before going to bed.

The next morning the eight of them walked on their path to school as they saw a bunch of girls in their way.  It was Maimi and her gang.  Airi walked toward them and went in front of Maimi.

“I give up on you, you were right, we should stay separated.”  Airi admitted.

“Airi, I do like you but you know what you did and this to me is how I will gain your respect back.”  Maimi pushed her away and grabbed Risako by the collar.

“After school, playground, be there.”  As she let go Miya stepped in to protect Risako.

“You fight me, Risako is not guilty, I am I caused this to happen.”  Miya felt the lump in her throat and Maimi looked back at the girl in front of Risako.

“So, you think you tough, okay you only against all of us, I will enjoy this beat down.”  Maimi said to her gang before leaving.

“Miya....”

“Riichan, I love you.”  Miya gave her a passionate kiss in front of Airi and watches the hands concede.  It was finally what Miya needed to show her true colors of what Risako meant to her.

^ I really do love MiyaChii but somehow I want to complex so many things XD

Chapter 13

Risako felt her disappointment in herself as she walked into class and kept her mind on Miya.  She never had anyone take the bullet for her and it felt relieving also stressing her mind to back her up at least.  Airi could only worry as Risako was not paying attention to anything said in class.  So she dragged her out of class into the hall and pushed her to the wall.

“Riichan, I am sorry for dragging you and Miya into this but...”  Risako hugged her as she laid her head on Airi's shoulder.

“I have to say something to you and don't take it personally.”  Airi took a step back and inhaled.

“You two have been helping adjust to real life and either way I feel the same way, so I want an opinion.  Is Miya bothering the relationship?”  Risako leaned back and saw Maimi's gang in the background.

“Um...yes.”  As the words came from her mouth, Maimi was right behind Airi.

“So, you chicken to face me?”  Maimi dragged Airi until Risako threw the punch at her bodyguard.

Maimi turned to deliver the counter and saw the ceiling in a second.  The other bodyguard down with the first bodyguard.  Risako stood over Maimi as she saw her expression change, Risako saw the leg come, and locked the ankle in her arms.  Maimi crying in pain as she twisted the ankle.  Until Airi tackled Risako to the ground and squatted down to see Maimi.

“Maimi-chan, sorry.”  Airi walked away and Risako attempting to sit up saw Maimi still wincing from the pain.

“You, how do you know how to fight?”  The injured girl asked.

“I was training from age four and worked my way to a 4th degree black belt.”  As She lend a hand to Maimi.

“I see.  I know the answer to the next question and you don't seem to care so much for her, so I want to know why she is in to you.”  Maimi hobbled onto her feet still feeling the pain in her ankle.

“Honestly, she came to me as a friend and we just hit it off from there.  She has been criticizing me for not being you.”  Risako laughed.

“She still cares about me though, just maybe not intimate as she wanted it.”  The girl hopped to the infirmary as Risako gave her support.

Risako carried her to the other side of the school to the infirmary as Ms. Okada took care of her student injuries.  Maimi stayed quiet throughout the whole trip as she pondered about Airi.  Right before entering into the doors of the office, Risako heard something drop, and ran away from the building.  The place soon smoked up and everybody ran out of the building.  She laid Maimi down on the bench and went in to find all the people.  She saw two figures in the smoke running away but went to get everybody out.  Saki was with Maimi as Risako tried to clear out the building and saw the exhausted face as she collapsed to the ground.

“You okay?”  Ms Okada asked.

“I'm fine, take care of her first.  I just need rest.”  Risako gasping for air as Saki gave her canteen to drink from.

“Thanks.”  Risako drank half of the canteen as she tried to get her breath back.

“Seems you injured her badly, you know she is the star volleyball player right?”  Saki said to her as Risako shook her head.

“Honestly, I didn't know that and she was just fighting for Airi, that's all.”  Risako gave the canteen back and walked to the garden to consolidate her feelings.

She sat on the bench watching the frogs jump around from one pad to the other as she tried to not think of what happened and separate herself from the world.  She saw the water slowly moving in and out of the pond after every splash.  Then, someone started to massage her shoulders from behind.  She calmly let the hands do the work and heard the birds chirp for the first time.

“Sugaya-san, don't feel bad.  It is hard to consider a choice between two great girls and I didn't expect you to handle the situation so well.”  The voice behind her whispered.

“Ishikawa-sensei, what should I do?”  She took a deep breath and laughed.

“You make the decision.”  Risako put her head lower as she expected a straight answer.

Ishikawa-sensei sat next to her as she tried to explain a situation that happened to her in high school.  She had just recently moved to the city and met two girls, Shibata-san, who was her first girl crush and Yoshizawa-san who is her current girlfriend.  Shibata always invited her to her events as Yoshizawa usually tried to destroy them and one day she saw Yoshizawa shoot hoops by herself.  Ishikawa stood outside the chain link fence and watch as she listened to Yoshizawa talk to herself after every shot.  As she hit every shot, she would try to yell out “Ishikawa-san daisuki” until she saw her outside the link fence.  She ran up to her and hug her as her head pressed onto her chest, she could only think of the times Yossie had been mean to her as it was love that kept them together.  Shibata never saw them together until both had a project together as she was partnered with another girl.  Both seemed comfortable with each other and seeing this, she tried to do the same thing and ruined their project.  Ishikawa as angry as she was, she introduced both of them together and eventually all became friends.

Risako nodded and hugged Ishikawa before leaving the pond with a plan in hand for the two dueling hearts.

Chapter 14

Risako walked back to the infirmary to see Maimi before going back to the warehouse.  She looked around and saw her sitting up looking outside through the window.  The glare reflected off her face and Risako sat by her.

“You again?”  Maimi said irritatingly.  “You won the fight.”

“Haha, no one won.”  Risako admitted as Maimi looked back at the younger girl.

“What do you mean?  I am here recovering from my injuries and you can brag about defeating me.”  Maimi sighed.

“Honestly, I don't care.”  Risako picked up a book and flipped through the pages before laying it down again.

“I see.  But...”  Before Maimi could finish Risako turned toward her.

“Airi is... someone who doesn't view the toughness in people but how much care they have toward others.  She saw that you can be protective and yet comfort her for every downfall she has.  I personally like her for her appearance but I can't take her as a girlfriend.”  She smiled before leaving.

“Wait, please be gentle.”  Risako nodded before leaving the room.

Risako took the long path home through the hidden park that she passed once by mistake and sat down to practice her lines.  As she went over it, Yurina and Momo were passing by and didn't notice her trying to review something.  They sat on either side of her and surprised her.  Risako fell over and landed on the ground, in her embarrassment she got up and brushed herself off.

“Riichan, you really like Miyabi a lot don't you?”  Momo asked.

“Miyabi may not have a pure heart but Airi has something good going for her with Maimi, after injuring her, I saw her face, I wasn't going to win.”  Yurina puts her hand on her shoulder.

“Miya is serious with Chinami, she has been hanging her a lot and they got some stuff together before and...”  Risako stopped her and inside she had grew angry.

“Yurina, don't say it.  I know about them.”  Risako walked back to the warehouse and into her room.

“Oh god!”  She said to herself before banging her fist into the wall.

After punching the wall, Miya walked in with a piece of cake for her.  Miya left it on the table and sat down in the chair.  She watched Risako drain herself into the pillow before approaching her.  The whole event pondered about the strained relationship and even about Airi.  She carefully placed her hand on her midsection and felt the warmth, Risako didn't say a word to Miya.

She got out of bed and walked over to Airi and locked the door behind her.

“Riichan, what is it?  You look..” Risako placed her lips on top of Airi's

“I am going to miss the strawberry flavor.”  She locked down her wrists.

She looked into her eyes and saw the fear, the fear that had haunted her since injuring Maimi.  The fear of her leaving for Miya and never seeing her as a viable option.  Airi began to run everything in her mind as her heart beat faster.

“I feel you should make up with Maimi.”  She got off and walked out.

The rest of the members crawled back as the door opened slowly and all were in shock as Risako calmly went downstairs and filled up a cup of soda.  Saki walked in and Airi still in shock as Risako said those words.  Airi took a deep breath and sat up to see the members' eyes staring at her.

“ We... I mean...I am...”  Airi put her hand up.

“No problem.  Risako had this on her mind all along, she was talking to Ishikawa-sensei, and I knew it was over.”  Airi admitted as she took another deep breath.

Before anyone could say another word, Airi walked downstairs, and shook hands with Risako before leaving.  Risako knew she would be important and let her stay in the warehouse for now.  Both of them put on their jackets and went outside to see Maimi.

As they approached the address, they saw a notice on the mailbox, their house had been sold.  They ran up to the door and saw her parents disciplining her for causing a fight, Risako rushed in and blocked the cane wielded by the father.  Risako threw a punch to knock out the father as Airi immediately packed up the clothes.

“What are you guys doing?”  Maimi asked.

“Stay with us, I think it might benefit you even more.”  Risako said as they dragged her clothes and her savings out of the home.

Chapter 15

A week after Maimi moved in, Ai and Risa became concerned about the amount of girls living in the warehouse.  Especially the girls when they were around Maimi kept their secret known to themselves.  It also kept her away from her gang and the prospects of her new friend she had met.  Maimi ran to the park after school to hang out before she left to go back into the city.

“Maimi-chan, are you hiding something?”  The girl sitting on the bench slouched over.

“Erika-san, how did you find me?”  Maimi almost fell backwards seeing there.

“Well I followed you here, so why not present me with my present?”  Maimi gave her a kiss and sat next to her.

Ai and Risa noticed the couple on the bench, so they did a quick session before trying to track them.  The eight returned from school to see no one in the warehouse, they all dropped their bags and worked on their plan.

Considering it was a week away and their dance was on the same day, they had to decide on couples, however, the words between Airi and Risako the past week had hardened their relationship to enemies.  Before anyone could say their names, Airi stepped up to present her message.

“I know you guys have seen the fight and I don't know how Riichan feels.”  Risako turned away for a bit.

“But I think we should do it by partners.”  Everyone agreed except Risako who walked away to the bathroom.

“Wait up.”  Saki chased after her until the door closed.

The six assigned themselves accordingly, Momo and Chinami could do reconnaissance and take Kawajima to the safe point, Yurina and Maasa was responsible for clean up, and Miya and Airi set up the traps for Katagawa's minions.  However, Risako had to kill Katagawa when he is out in the open with Saki as her right-hand companion.  In her state, she felt the pressure upon her to react too quickly.

“Open up.”  Saki knocked on the door and let her in.

She saw her sitting on the floor trying to gather up her feelings as she knew the day was soon.  Saki was the closest person as a mother than anybody who knew her, she comfort her after every bad dream and made her confident in doing this line of work.  Risako leaned on Saki as she smiled.

“Rii-chan, I know people can be harsh and you do it right back to them, but give Airi a chance.”  She let out a sigh and then laughed.

“What's funny?”  She asked.

“I just remembered that you always were there when something goes wrong, you never yell or scold me but like this you keep me warm and comfortable.”  Saki flowed through her hair again.

Saki was ready to ask the important question and Risako looked outside to see a couple kissing.  She took a closer look and saw it was Maimi and another girl, Risako took a step back, and turned to Saki.  She felt the vibe coming from her as she looked at the door and walked out.  The rest of the group looked up and saw her bow deeply to Airi followed by a hug.

“Riichan...”

“Airi, don't worry, no apology, I'm fine.”  Knowing in her heart she knew the truth.

The eight sat down before the two supervisors came back for their dinner orders.  Maimi followed and Risako stood up and took her to the back, she was careful to not aggravate the injury.

“Who was that?”  Risako said in a stern voice.

“My new girlfriend.”  Maimi wiped the sweat from her forehead.

“Airi knows?”  Maimi shook her head.

“Please tell her.”  Risako turned around and Maimi grabbed her by the shoulder.

“Not now, I want her to not take on the responsibility yet.” Risako nod and went back into the front.

Hmm big mission coming up soon?

So Maimi is seeing Erika, but Rii gave up on Airi so that she could get back with Mami, does this mean that Airi/Rii may be back on?
if so that would make the mission intresting, with Miya and Airi being paired together!

^ almost correct but a chapter with deeper stuff to the relationship

Chapter 16

Airi had been sitting down and Risako scooted next to her with Maimi on the other side, they brought out their homework and started to work on it.  Thirty minutes later, Maimi's phone rang and she ran upstairs to take the call.  Airi wanted to follow her but Risako grabbed onto her wrist.  Airi in disgust swung free of her grasp and got to the closed door.  Risako ran up and Airi fell to the ground seeing her eyes swell up, Risako dragged her into a room and locked it.

“Maimi...has....a girlfriend.”  Airi sobbing through the words and she collapsed onto Risako's shoulder.

“Airi, they have recently been seeing each other.  From what I have seen and heard, the girl is older and seems to have her reputation represent her well.”  Airi looked up in confusion.

“Riichan, how do you know about this and why...”  Airi finally caught on.

“Yeah, all of us have job and we see who everyone has been around and research on them.  You were not on our database and it wasn't until you show your badge that we knew you were in the force.  The why part was Maimi knew that if you didn't have any feelings for her, she would have gone to her anyway.”  Airi wiped her tears away.

“I don't feel anything no more, Maimi left and you...”  Risako smiled.

“I still like Miya and knowing that they had a history together, it bothers me but I just can't stop it.”  She felt Airi's arms around her.

They spent the rest of night in the room just whispering their thoughts, it was quiet for the two as no one bothered them.  Airi still felt betrayed of Maimi's choice but it seemed to be forgotten as she felt warm by Risako's lukewarm comforting.  Then, a knock at the door as Risako opened it, it was Momo asking what they wanted for dinner, and she looked in to see Airi sprawled on top of the bed.  She walked away before getting the order and they went back into their original position.  Airi was beginning to feel that thing that made her attracted to Risako before.  She thought maybe it was her last opportunity and pecked her on the cheek.  Risako giggled as she found the old Airi again.

“Riichan, I feel much better, thank you.”

“Airi, don't blame Maimi, understand?”  She nodded and went down to see the food the group left for them as they left to get some supplies with Ai and Risa.

They sat there eating the Chinese food the group ordered earlier and the awkward silence came upon them.  They looked at each other for a brief moment and smiled as the time passed by slowly.  Risako went to get a cup of soda for each of them as they tried to finish the food.  Airi scooted close enough that they sat inches from each other and then the group came home seeing the two.

“Airi, I don't know what to say...”  Airi walked away despise her warning but she understood and comfort her up in the room.

Risako left Airi upstairs and walked down to stand up to Maimi and gave her a disappointed look.  She walked away and Maimi took her to the back as she wanted to explain the situation.

“Airi can't be mad because I started to see my friend again.”  Maimi exclaimed.

“She seems to be angry about that.”  Maimi took a seat and tried to think of a way to confront her.

“I have to explain it to you first, see she and I go back from elementary school, she was more outgoing than I was.  Everyday we sat under a tree and just talk about everything especially boys.  However, my family moved four years ago here and she has been trying to visit me here.”  Risako looked surprised as she thought they just met each other.

“I'm not surprised by that look as you see she is a model for a well-known clothing line and many don't know her real name.”  Risako nodded.

“However, before I left she told me that she had been keeping a secret and once I heard about it, I was unsure and then she kissed me.  I felt confused that I ended up crying without saying goodbye to her.  Then, I spent two years by myself with my father as they just got divorced when we moved.  The next year I saw a girl with a nice smile and I introduced myself to Airi.  Ever since then we had been doing stuff together and finally I felt comfortable with her.  Then, she left for you and blamed myself for letting leave me so easily.”  Risako paused her.

“So, if I didn't come into the picture, you would have been happy with her.”  She nodded.

“Yeah, of course, E and I are really close friends but I told her that I had Airi and she was jealous of me having such a cute girlfriend.  E always gives me a kiss on the lips when she leaves because it makes me remember the first time and never forget that it was her who gave me that kiss.”  Risako understood and walked up to the room to see Airi rolled up.

“Airi, let Maimi talk to you tomorrow, have a good sleep.”  Risako said before leaving the room.

Well this chapter is showing Rii's opening up and the past chapter was just the beginning

Chapter 17

The next morning Risako had cooking duty with Ai and Risa, she started to get into her groove as she began to make the scrambled eggs and frying up the fish perfect.  The couple were impressed by the girl's cooking that they left her in the kitchen by herself.  Minutes later, she heard a voice and cautiously turned around to see Airi rubbing her eyes.  She looked around and put the dishes on the table while Risako finished up cleaning.

“Riichan, thank you for being a good friend.”  She took off her apron and hugged her.

“Thank you.”  She whispered into her ear.

She saw everybody come down except Maimi and they started to eat as Airi was staring upstairs.  Risako had a feeling Airi might let out her anger and she seemed ready for anything to stop it.  After waiting twenty minutes, Risako ran up to the room and knocked to see if she was in there.  Opening the door, Maimi was staring out a window with her legs close to her body.  She turned to see Risako at the door and signaled her to come in.

“Is Airi okay?”  She asked as she relaxed her legs on the bed.

“She seemed happy I spoke to her before I went to sleep but I don't know how to you though.”  Maimi nodded.

“Okay, I'll come downstairs soon, let me get ready.”  Risako left and went back into her room to find her bag for school.

After finding her bag, she saw the two met on the stairway and all she could do is hold her breath as they both stared at each other.  Maimi walked away before saying anything but Airi's demeanor was calm and waiting for an explanation.  Airi walked into the bathroom and Risako left ahead of everyone.  While walking down the street she began to view all the people working.  She walked into a shop and saw the young owner stocking up her fruits.

“Hey young girl, you are my first customer for today, you want an orange?”  Risako nodded and was given a big orange as a reward.

“Thank you, ma'am.”  She started to laugh.

“So proper, call me Nacchi or Aunty either way I feel good.”  She laughed nervously.

She left the shop giving Nacchi a 100 yen coin in appreciation and peeled off the skin of the orange.  Along the way she saw one of Maimi's friends at school and she manage to catch up to her before crossing the street.  She seemed to avoid the conversation until Risako told about Maimi and she turned around to see her behind her.

“Oh hello, I wanted to avoid being seen.”  The girl said to her.

She learned about her father being caught stealing from an auto part distributor and Airi being the investigator into the theft.  The girl was angered by her arrest as she didn't know what her father was doing.  Airi got an award for catching him but she saw something after the arrest that she had to correct.  The girl's father had been a whistle blower and she talked to the father over a period of two weeks and requested him to be in a halfway house under police supervision.  A month after his arrest they brought down the company and he was returned home.  Then, she became a student and the girl confronted her during a break.  Airi saw who she was and apologize but she had to do her job and if wasn't for the father, they wouldn't have take down a company so quickly.

When she arrived at school, Nakazawa was in front of the school with her father's picture in hand.  Risako looked down and followed her to her office with the other person and an officer from the school.

“I never called you here and I thought Ai and Risa was dropping you off, so I called them and they said you wanted to come here early so I stopped you here.”  Risako grabbed a tissue and wiped her tears.

“I wanted to plan out the hit but I guess he passed away.”  Nakazawa nodded.

“He has said that after this mission you guys are free to go.”  Risako started to sob.

“I want to stay with them, please is there a way that we can stay together?”  Risako asked through the gasps of breaths.

“He said if you asked for it, he has presented you an opportunity to stay at his home in Hawaii and be free from there.  However, do you want to give up your money for the sake of the group?”  Risako stood up and slammed her fist into the table.

“I will miss them too much especially Airi.”  She covered her mouth after saying that.

“Risako, you know she is police and can always be willing to turn you in at any time.”  Risako nodded.

“It is something I am willing to take and I know Airi has my back if she doesn't I will pay for it with my life.”  She grabbed the dog tag and walked out the office.

She arrived at the gym and looked around but her step-father's memory in her mind she didn't want to go to class but in the darkness she heard a voice.

“Riichan, I'll stay with you for today.”

^ Well its in the chapter

Chapter 18

Risako turned around to see Chinami behind her with her school bag over her shoulder and the smile that could warm up the room.  She sat next to her and let her put her head on top of her lap and let herself cry out her frustration.

“I want to say I know but I didn't know my father and its been an adventure for me from childhood.”  The older girl fingers flowing through the hair.

“Chinami, why did you come here?”  Risako mumbled.

“Honestly, Airi was worried about you and Miya had to do something before school so I followed after you left.”  Chinami took a deep breath before resuming her previous action.

Risako tried to remember what she wanted to do but Chinami being there was such a relief for her as she wanted to keep her step-father's memory alive in her.  Risako visualize all the decorations and the balloons setup on the floor until another person walked on the floor.  Chinami moved back into shadows and saw Miya looking for someone then walking away from the floor.  Risako sat up and saw a perfect place to hide her weapons during the dance.

“You two in the dark.”  Miya smiled.

“Ah, Miyachin how was getting items?”  Chinami asked.

“Simple as always and Risako sorry about you lost.”  Miya embraced her tightly as she froze in place.

“Thanks.”  Miya sat down next to Risako away from Chinami.

The three students sat on the bleachers and sat back looking onto the floor and seeing the spaces needed to hide their goods before performing the hit.  With the pairings, they could plan out their routes to get to the point of contact.  The one problem was to lure out Katagawa as he was a shadowy figure and rarely goes out in public.  They each looked at Kawajima as bait but it had to be something else to make him come out and Miya took out a wad of bills.

“How did you get that?”  As Risako ran her finger over the paper and realized it wasn't fake.

“My bounty from my last mission and hopefully we can get him to bite so you can do your job.”  Miya snatched it back and walked away from them.

Chinami ringed Risako's neck and smiled, Risako knew Miya had been doing this type of work for a while but the amount surprised her.  She tried to remember the amount she was suppose to get after each job but was withheld until she became older but the amount actually made her think about what she actually had.

An hour later, the two sneaked out of the gym and were lead to the rest of the group who were in the back drinking their juice.  Once Risako was seen the whole grouped hugged her and said their condolences but Risako prepared to take on the mission and with less than a week left it had no margin or error.  She ran to the weapon shop and put down her permit to take her to the back with all her weapons of choice.

“You have a great collection of guns and they are all polished and ready to be used.”  The shopkeeper opened up the last case and saw etched initials, her step-father's initials.

“I'll take this one.”  The shopkeeper smiled.

“Fine choice, it has been taken care of, I'll see you soon.”  Risako wrapped it up and walked back to the warehouse.

As she walked back, Maimi was with the girl again, and she managed to glance at her and her flawless skin and unusual makeup was the indicator that Maimi wasn't lying.  She hid behind a telephone pole as the friend left and Maimi had a piece of paper in her hand as she was looking at it, she began to tear up and Risako continued until getting to the warehouse.

Ai and Risa were starting to clean up the area and packed the girl's bags before going off to report to Nakazawa.  Risako went into the secret room and dismantled the gun to see the etches on the gun one more time and positioned itself on her shoulder as she looked through the scope.  The scope was slightly dirty but alright to use.  She stuck her finger into the barrel and noticed it being perfectly cleaned out and oiled for better release.  Finally, the bullets were all still intact and she got herself a target to get ready and a clean kill was the result.

Maimi returned to the warehouse to see Ai cleaning the floors and Risa rushing through the preparations before the mission.  She returned to her room as she kept reading the paper, Maimi felt better after the first reading as she knew that she can;t be around her friend anymore and had to stick to Airi.  Right when she was ready to put it away, Airi walked in and sat next to her as she crupled the paper in her hand.

“Airi, I wanted to say sorry for the past week and not telling you of my friend.”  Airi nodded.

“I should apologize for overreacting.”  Airi bowed to Maimi.

“Erika has been a good friend and wanted to check up on me since she was in town and she thought you were cute.  Then, she started to admit that the guys she had been dating were assholes and she hanged around other girls but they didn't want to associate with her.”  Airi nodded and push Maimi down onto the bed.

“I forgive you.”  Airi pressing her lips on top of Maimi.

“Thanks.”  They continued until they wanted to stop.

Chapter 19

The rest of the week Nakazawa told the teachers that the students were preparing for a test to get into college and left the eight of them in the warehouse with their suits and each a wardrobe to use for the week.  It was silent with the eight of them looking at each other and Maimi looking at her text messages from her friends.  Airi stood up and sat next to Maimi with her intentions of asking about her future but Maimi ignored Airi every time she wanted to talk.

“Riichan, what you up to?”  Miya asked as she cozies up to Risako.

“Just enjoying the last moments.”  Miya saw the fears in her eyes as she tries to keep her head on the mission rather than her step-father's death.

The rest spent their time lounging with their partners as they let time pass with chatter until a note was passed underneath the door.

Your dinner is being delivered.

Saki opened the door and saw the take-out containers of food being put on the table as they drool over the amount as they had the week to plan but the time to run it was too early.  The girls dove in when the last of the food entered the building.  Momo stood up and offered a toast to everyone and thanked everybody for being a team for the three months they had been together.  Risako had a pack of vouchers for her as she looked at the amount and she saw nine in total.  Everyone looked at her with concerned eyes and she spread it out onto the table.

“I have no use staying here and used my money to get vouchers to Hawaii.”  Risako smiled as their faces lid up.

“Risako, your step-father...” Airi extended her hand out.

“He's dead and I don't want to lose you guys and we are free to do what we want to do after this.”  The girls became silent as they heard the news.

“Same as for me.”  Airi murmured.

“We can start a new life in Hawaii and we can get away from everybody here.”  She smiled again but everyone was still saddened.

The group started on the dinner still having the mission on their minds and watching Risako as she tried to keep her emotions in check.  Inside she was hurting, all of them knew that nothing would bring him back but to take out Katagawa personally would only help her get through it.  It became quiet as the night moved along and leaving Miya and Risako as the only ones left up.

“Miyachin.”  Risako said softly.

“Yes.”  She moves in closer to the younger one.

“I have been wondering if you were okay about moving to Hawaii?”  Risako asked as she went to get another cup of juice.

“I feel unsure, that's all.”  Miya put her head down knowing it might have not been the answer she wanted to hear.

“I know.”  Miya put her head up and see Risako driving her head to the pillow with the tears running down.

“Riichan, we are all for you but we have lived here our whole life and to just move is unfair for us.”  Miya explain as Risako tried to gain her composure.

“I haven't.  I got placed here and been away from life and being here only made me depressed about my step-father and I just want to move on.”  Miya comforted the younger girl in her arms and tried to stay positive.

“Rii, you need to face your fear.  If it is dying just say so.”  Risako pressed her lips onto Miya and she pushed her off.

“Its not dying, its love, I just want to be away from this and learn nature without being restricted, it has been a dream to live somewhere nice, away from the violence.”  Miya smirked.

“You really want to learn?  First thing Airi cared too much that you turned her away and my feelings for you became empty because you didn't like me at all.”  Miya threw out.

“I liked you but...”

“But what?”  Miya yelled.

“I felt that I wanted to be alone at the time to push everyone away from me to just stay like I was before but Airi showed me that I needed a person and I can't do it here.”  Miya nodded.

“Riichan, I am sorry you go on your own after the mission.”  Miya handed the vouchers over to Risako and she put it to her side as she stayed on the couch feeling the night breeze and internally broken.

^Well we may never know  :nervous

Chapter 20

She wanted to rip the vouchers in half but it wasn't worth breaking up a friendship or any relationship over a disagreement so she left it on the table as she mulled over her decision.  Her deepest thoughts were about Miya and her serious expression revealed what her intentions were and it was toward Chinami.  She sat there laying down on the couch looking up at the bare ceiling thinking about her trip after the mission and it struck her.

I am running away from the problem but what can I do I leave right after the mission.

She instantly called the airlines to change her time and luckily she could do it for tomorrow after the funeral but knowing this fact lead to a risk of retaliation and no protection from anybody else.  She heard a noise from upstairs and saw Maasa walking down seeing Risako on the couch, she sat across of her and saw the voucher.

“Saki has been saying that I should consider going to Hawaii as a vacation but I don't want to move over there.”  As she saw it as one-way.

“I understand.”  Risako sounded depressed.

“She wants to see you move on from the business, she has confided with me many times about knowing how hard your life was and seeing you struggle through the mental aspect of training.”  Risako put her hands to her face.

“Saki is such a good partner...”  Risako exploded in tears.

Maasa ran over to comfort her as Saki watched from upstairs.  Saki knew that Risako just had to get away and overhearing about the change, she would take the extra day to be with her at least.  However, she was with the rest of the girls as she wasn't ready to move on and even being on the run, they knew how they would at least survive out there.  In the back of her mind, she knew Risako was just giving them a way out but as part of the known minority she agreed with them and gave her voucher away.

Risako felt the motherly touch from Maasa, before uttering the words she fell to the ground. And Saki came running down seeing Risako with her closed eyes.  She felt her pulse and breath a sigh of relief.

“Saki, you were up?”  Maasa asked.

“When you went down stairs, I decided to watch both of you.”  Saki admitted.

“I see, so she fainted?”  Maasa asked as Saki dragged the body onto the couch.

“Yeah, she seemed stress enough from the mission and with this I don't know.”  Before the next words came out, Maasa looked at the vouchers and put them down again.

“I have been thinking, we may need it in case we get into trouble.”  Saki smiled.

“I agree, Risako has been great as a partner and you have been a great friend, however I have to agree with Risako, she is giving us an out plan.”  Maasa saw in the eyes of hers, she knew Risako would risk everything for the team, and Maasa looked down and shook her head.

“There is something I don't get though.”

“What is it, Maasa?”

“Her personality, why is she two-faced?”  Maasa asked with her hand running through Risako's hair

“Two-faced?  Well she always has been able to control her destiny and when she feels uncomfortable, she shies away.  Every person would always act cold toward her until I came in and we talked about our lives, she always wanted to be normal and as her chance is now, she wanted to get everybody to join her but without the support she put stress upon herself to try.  But, she has been shy and never warmed up until later in which I became partners with her.”  Maasa nodded.

“I see.  I'll go back up and you can look after her.”  Maasa pecked her on the cheek and went back upstairs again.

“Riichan, don't worry you are not alone, I am still with you, I never will let you leave on your own, you know I'll be there.”  Saki pressed her head on top of the younger girl.

She opened her eyes and Risako smiled as she hugged Saki before walking up she looked at the vouchers and Saki left it with herself as they went to sleep.

The days leading up to the mission were quiet as they accepted their meals until the day came and they admired their dresses that were picked out but knowing they wouldn't have to stay too long in them, they just skip it to save time but Maimi wanted to go and without hesitation, Airi let her go with Erika as she wasn't part of the plan.  They split themselves to the planned pairs and worked on the details to the exact time and place.  It was obvious that one misstep can cause panic and missing the target, so it became a hour by hour basis as Momo and Chinami left right after their quick meeting.  Miya, Airi, Maasa, and Yurina left couple hours after them.  Maimi went off an hour after the group and left Saki and Risako left in the building with their equipment.

“Riichan, you looked relax, had a good sleep?”  She asked.

“You know I never do but knowing you will be there makes me feel more comfortable.”  They high five each other before closing the door behind them to start the mission.

I'll be honest and say Miya/Rii are going to be together but not now XD

Chapter 21

Momo and Chinami hid in a building right by the school as they look through their tools, they saw a note in there.

I wish you guys well.

The looked at each other with a puzzled expression and soon understood the message as they noticed it was Risako's writing.  They put the note down and took out their binoculars to see the action and even though it might have been early, they could at least give warning to anything new beforehand.

“Momo, would you miss here if we left to go to Hawaii?”  Chinami asked as Momo tried to digest the words in her head.

“Of course, but somehow I feel that here won't be safe anymore.”  Momo admitted as she rubbed her eyes.

“Same here, but Risako, what is her problem?  She still has to go to the funeral no matter what.”  Chinami mumbled with her mind on the outside.

“Chii, I think something might happen, she has a feeling that something will happen, especially because it is private.”  Momo alertly pointed out something suspicious at the mortuary.

“You're right.  Call it in and we can probably get the others ready if they stay long enough.”  Chinami looked on as the watch and called the rest on their observations.

Momo looked at the note one more time and crumpled it in her and threw into the basket.  She shook her head knowing it was a mistake to reject the voucher when she had and now since it was out of her hands, she just had to pray.  She looked at the time and it was 3:15 in the afternoon and the sun was beaming at the hottest rate.  Momo grabbed her canteen and took a drink before handing it off to Chinami as they switched over.

“Chii, I am having the bad feeling now because of Riichan.”  Chianmi nodded.

“I hope she knows we are still friends after this.”  Momo put down the binoculars and placed it on the table beside the bed.

“We are going to be and if Risako is going I will be with her, right partner?”  She nodded.

“Riichan is never without help and she is probably the best at what she does and I just hope she does the right thing at the end.”  Chinami adjusted the lens to get a farther distance.

Hours later, limousines pulled up with the body guards and the person himself Katagawa in a black suit and tie with his gator skin boots and cigar.  The assumed the person who came out to greet him was Kawajima and they handed over a vial to him.  The bluish liquid seemed hazardous and they walked in together.  Second after finding the pair the knocks at the door was getting louder and eventually broke through.

“I swear they were here with their spy stuff.”  The guy said as they looked around and saw a bag of their equipment but Chinami jumped off and choked the guy out from behind as he laid into the bath tub.

Momo was in the closet with her knife and can of bug spray she carried for her in case of difficult circumstances.  She saw the guy approach the closet and opened it to see a dark area toward the side and with no way out, Momo stabbed him in the thigh, and sprayed him with the bug spray.  The third person knew that the two were decoys as they appeared right in front of him and kicked him into the hallway.  The guy grabbed his stick and swung toward both of them as he fended them back into the corner.  Chinami ducked and threw her star into the lower leg and fell over in pain.  Momo grabbed the stick and was ready to whack him out of his misery but she bonked him where the star was and screamed in pain watching the blood oozed out.

“I got the back in the hall, let's get to the school before he decides to wake up and attack again.”  They ran down two sets of stairs before getting onto the street where another set were and chased them through the street until they hid themselves into an alley way across of the school.

They looked out to see if they passed by and ran onto the school ground where they saw Maasa and Yurina looking on as they saw a signal from the partners to move on with their next step.

^Yes it was :D

Chapter 22

Maasa and Yurina ran into the school and saw the students entering the gym in groups as they try to give Miya and Airi the signal for Momo and Chinami.  They ran to the janitor's closet to take out their small arms and clubs from the bag.  Quietly, they got them into their pockets and walked out to see a guy walking around with a suit on.

“Excuse me, where is the bathroom?”  The guy said as they pointed down the hall and coming out was a henchman.

They hid behind the two pillars until the guy passed them hit him with the club, he fell forward, and all of his items fell to the ground.  As they rummaged through it, they found a card for the building they were staying in, Maasa put it in her pocket and ran off to other side of school.

Once in their spot, they  stood there waiting for the henchmen to come after them but with the time given, they remembered the message that was relayed to them earlier.

“Yurina, so how you and Momo been working out.”  She took out a piece of gum and started to chew on it.

“She is quite hyper and every time we decide to lay in bed, it becomes a game, and makes me tired everyday.  Then, one day I got sick of it so I gave her a kiss along her jawline, I never heard her squeal so much.”  Both laughed and Yurina took a piece and started to chew on it.

“Saki and I have been quite tame, except for the time when we were sleeping together and I felt her hand go up my shirt.  I wanted to say something but I pushed it away and she woke up with a smile.”  Yurina giggled at the story.

“So, its been touching for you guys?”  Yurina asked.

“Not really, we watched each other undress before sleeping but that's about it.”  The taller girl nodded.

“Momo is quite sensitive, she goes in and out of the bathroom or locks me out.  In addition, she usually likes me to cuddle with her and lets my hand onto her midsection.”  Maasa started to drool at the detail.

“Hmm, we tend to be mild and try not to get wrapped up too early.”  Maasa nudged the other girl.

The door opened and seeing Katagawa and his men come in with their suits and bags.  The two went into an open classroom and watched through the window as they passed by them.  Yurina saw one stop and stand guard.  Yurina had a trap in her pocket and threw it onto the floor by the guard, they dropped down and ran to the door to hear the explosion.

“Yurina, something went wrong.”  Maasa looking at her.

“Don't worry, in 3, 2, 1.”  The trap went off and knocked the guard down.

They ran over to the next area where another guard was there and Yurina took out another trap to distract the person.  She placed it by the door and blew out the door from the room and the guy ran over to see what it was.  The two ran upstairs and found themselves into another storage room with a back door to the stairs out of the building.  They stayed in the room until they couldn't hear the footsteps but it would be a while.

“Maasa, I am worried about Riichan.”  Yurina said.

“Same here, Saki was trying to convince me to take the voucher but I couldn't leave here, not going to happen.”  The other girl nodded.

“True, but I have reconsidered taking the voucher.  I may have to ponder a little more but I think that is the right decision.”  Yurina took out her gun and load it.

“Well, I guess that makes two of us, now let's get out of here.”  Both came out and shot the henchmen with their pistols until they ran out and went into the gym to watch the dance.

Chapter 23

Airi saw the two walk into the gym and radio over to Miya on the other side of the gym and confirmed the two walk in.  Miya looked across and the thoughts of her being with Risako had been torturing her and even talking to Chinami would always bring her up indiscreetly.

“Miya, why can't you tell it to her straight.”  Chinami yelled.

“I just can't, Risako doesn't want me.”  Miya walked away and Chinami turned her around and felt the slap across her face.

“Never give up, I will be your best friend, and as a friend, be with her one last time.”  It was the moment before she came down to talk to Risako for the last time.

“Riichan, I hate losing you but you made it hard for me to commit and I must face my consequences.”  Miya said to herself before seeing Katagawa walk out of the gym.

Miya ran down to see his gang walking toward the restroom and they all walked in together, Miya crept up until someone touched her shoulder.  She turned and drew her blade from her pocket seeing Airi following her from behind.

“Why you did that?”  Miya put the blade back in her pocket.

“Sorry, I heard you and came in as backup.”  Airi pushed Miya forward toward the bathroom.

As they crept toward the bathroom one of them came out and dove into the open classroom to keep them out of sight.  They heard the footsteps and went into hiding under the cloth near the door and radioing in to Maasa and Yurina about checking up on what they were following.  Airi put down her radio set to fix her ponytail and Miya did the same as she tried to put her hand on the other girl's shoulder.

“Miya, sorry for being a jerk and taking Riichan away from you.”  Airi finishing up her ponytail and Miya froze when she heard the words.

“Airi, don't be sorry, I made the mistake and you won, just keep it that way.”  Miya sat back on the wall as Airi grabbed her hand.

“I couldn't do what I suppose to do, I was going to set her up to send her to jail, but when I heard about her father, I canceled the mission and went on my own to scoop up some information about her.  It was just, I saw myself in her, I had a father who was strict and he trained me night and day to be a good police officer, and eventually I got myself to a good position.”  Miya smiled.

“What was that?  Why are you smiling?”  Airi scolded.

“Risako is too unpredictable after trying to court her, she just wanted to be alone and she thought you were a normal student.  After all this, it seems we both failed.”  Airi nodded.

“Yes, but now, I feel like going to Hawaii.”  Miya glanced back in shock.

“Hawaii?  You turned your voucher back in, right?”  Airi shook her head.

“I never did, I always had mine, she will see there is one fake and will probably ask me about it, but while thinking about it, I need a break from this.”  Airi laughed as they look outside seeing the clear classroom.

They both stood up and heard shots rang outside and saw the henchmen shooting across the hall, Miya stuck the barrel out and shot one through the chest.  Airi saw an opening and caught the other two guys on the other side.  Maasa and Yurina came running back to Airi and Miya saying that Kawajima was with them.

“He handed over the formula and while experimenting a hole was created by the acid of the vial and it seems it can be paired with explosives to cause a deadly combination.”  Yurina reported.

“Where's Momo and Chi?”  Miya asked.

“They are on the roof signaling to Saki and Rii to get prepped.”  Maasa reported.

“Team Alpha, surround the school, the eagle is ready to dive.”  Airi radio to the surveillance car.

“What does that mean?”  Miya asked.

“It means Rii is ready to take out our target and get your contacts her to drive away.”  Miya nodded.

“Wait, what about the police?”  Maasa asked.

“They know she's there for defensive purposes, they supplied her defensive ammunition.”  Airi answered.

“Okay, Ai and Risa are on their way and let's get to the back of the school to meet them.”  The four went through the maze as quickly as possible just watching the car stopped right in front of them.

^ the story just clouds up

Chapter 24

“Girls get in, Ai and Risa are busy doing another mission.”  Nakazawa said to them as they jumped into the van as they rode off.

“What about Saki and Risako?”  Airi asked.

“They will be fine.”  As Nakazawa's voice faded quickly.
~

“Risako, seems we might have bad weather.”  Saki noticing the clouds becoming darker.

“We always do on kills.”  As she looked through the scope and noticed Katagawa walking out with his bodyguards.

Risako with her finger on the trigger started to shake as she grew anxious with the brisk wind  blowing towards her.  Risako took out another piece of chewing gum still seeing Katagawa standing by the bodyguard and blocking her view.

“Rii, careful play it cool, you may not get him out there but inside can catch him.”  Saki looked through the binoculars seeing an opportunity.

“Okay, there is a spot between the head and the collar, aim right there and we can get out of here.”  She took out her bomb out of her pocket and threw it over the railing.

The guards ran for it and Rii had her eye perfectly on there and pulled the trigger.  The usual silence comes as she dismantles the gun into her bag while Saki looks over to see if she got the kill.  Rii waited as she hastily got everything to the bag and stayed on her back.

“Ok, let's go.”  Saki gave her the thumbs up and they started running toward the exit to find two henchmen blocking the exit.

Risako took out her knife and sliced away at the henchmen not noticing the other one on her blind side and she felt something slice through her and noticed the wound as Saki kicked him out of the way.  They ran down the exit while Risako winced at the pain as she slowed down and rested onto the wall.

“Saki, carry the bag, it is slowing me down.”  She hands off the bag and finally get to the meeting point where no car had appeared.  They ran to the other end to find an open taxi door and jumped into the moving car.

“Sir, take us to the McDonalds in the city.”  Saki hands the money over as Risako tries to find her first-aid kit to wrap herself up.

“So, how you feel?”  Saki looked at the bandage oozing out blood and gave her partner a hug.

“Feels great.”  As they see two women running from guys and they noticed it was Ai and Risa.

“Before we think of anything, let's get to the spot first, and we talk.”  Risako warned Saki as they reached their destination in front of the other two and hit in the alley to wait for them to come.

The two turned into the alley and the dumpster rolled out in front of them as the four ran to the back side of the abandoned building.  The four panting as they entered to find the rest of the crew sitting and receiving their dinner.

“Rii, go lie down, everybody get the medical kit, Ai go call Yasuda, she has access to the hospital if I need her.”  Nakazawa controlling the instant traffic all the girls made around her.

They unwrapped a fresh bandage and sanitized the area with their antibiotics, minutes later, a woman came in with her purse looking for the stitches and began to fix the cut as fast as she could.  She finished her up and monitored her status.  After a few hours, she left with Risako still in a dazed state and saw Miya right by her.

“Riichan, thank god your alive.”  Miya tears soaking through her uniform.

“Miya, no problem, just a small cut.”  Risako smirked as she tried to comfort Miya,

“Rii, glad you are still here but I forgot to tell you this.”  Nakazawa reached into her purse and took out the announcement and she saw the date.  It was this evening.

Risako looked at it and just put it down as she laid down and started release everything in her system, everyone went out of the room and Nakazawa sat there with her hands on her lap looking over her.  Risako sat up and walked over to Nakazawa.

“I had to do it.”  Nakazawa said softly.

“No you didn't.  You could have sent anyone in my position to take on that hit.  If you were decent enough to care, you would have let me gone there and say my final goodbye to the only person I knew since I was small.  Now, I can't say how much I miss him and how much he has meant to me as a father and a great friend.”  Risako felt the rage build in her but her body was too tired to try to attack her.

“I'm just sorry, I have your plane ticket to Hawaii in the morning.  Say goodbye before you sleep and I am officially off the job.”  She walked away and placed the vouchers on the table by the door.

Risako looked up through the window and could only mumble what she would have said to her father but now feeling the emptiness in her, she closed her eyes.

Okay its an end to the fic but i'll change it after this XD

Chapter 25

The next morning she packed her bags into the van with Ai at the wheel to drive her to the airport.  Risako stood in front of the group and was ready to say her speech but seeing their reaction, she paused before say her speech to take one last breath.

“Hey everyone, sorry for being a killjoy but it has been fun being with you guys and wish you guys are considering to come to Hawaii.  I would like to thank everybody.”  Risako walked up to Saki.

“Partner, you helped me in this process, I am gonna miss you, thank you.”  Risako gave her a hug and feels the tears penetrate through her clothing.

“Yurina, Maasa, keep Miya safe for me, you two are the best bodyguards I have met.”  Both embraced her with tears in their eyes.

“Momo, Chinami, you two keep doing your work, and I wish you guys luck.” Both gave her hug before going onto the next person.

“Airi, don't cry, you are a good friend and don't feel bad about everything we went through.”  Risako looked passed her and saw Miya in the corner.

“Mi....ya”

“Rii....chan.”  She came running to her and tackle her to the couch.

Miya couldn't contain herself as she held her in her arms as doll and put her head on top of her shoulder while Risako run her finger through her hair.

“Miya, I don't know what to say, have fun with Chii.”  Risako said with little enthusiasm.

“No!  You can't hide it anymore, tell me.”  Miya grabbed her shirt and pressed her body on top of her.  “Tell me.”

Risako pushed her off to the table and broke the weak table into half, she dusted off herself and walked to the door.

“Miya, you had your shot and blew it, Chinami is happy to have you.”  Risako picked up her last bag and walked out.

Miya ran out and started to shout out everything that was in her heart and broke down in the front.  With everyone surrounding her, Risako waved her last goodbye and leaned back in the seat while Ai drove off.

“Rii, that was cold, why?”  Ai asked as she drove her way down the highway.

“Miya, I love her too much to admit it, she feels the same way.”  She looked out onto the river with her arms crossed.

“Why didn't you just say it?”  Ai asked as she sipped her coffee.

“I can't ruin three peoples' lives.”  She straightened herself up.

“I see.  But sometimes you have to hurt people you care to be honest.  If you cared for her, you would tell her the truth.”  Risako looked down and saw the airport ahead.

“I guess she'll never know.”  Risako mumbled as the van stopped.

“Okay, if your mind and heart says so, you can leave it be, and if you have any regrets, you can't change it.”  Ai warned.

Risako took her bags and went into the check-in without answering Ai's question and waiting to be called to be boarded.  Then, she saw something in her bag.

Rii~

I truly regret saying this

I love you

Chinami wanted me to be happy

So, I wrote this behind her back

She only knows how much I would like to be with you

What can I say for you to forgive me

I would do anything

Even if you leave

I will miss you

I can't forget you

I hope you can remember me too

Risako folded back the paper and held it to her heart, she remembered the first day and until the last moment.  She heard her flight and was looking forward to her new life in Hawaii.

^ one day XD

and yeah new title to the continuing story

Chapter 26

She arrived in Hawaii with a new mindset as she exited the airplane, she saw two people in sunglasses, with her name on a sign.  One with a smile and the other looking away from her with her hand on her hip.  She walked toward them and the one with the sign took off her sunglasses.

“Hello, Ms. Sugaya.”  She said with a smile.

“Who are you guys?”  She asked as she saw two other people pick up her bags.

“We are a new agency that brings talented people to our office, My name is Kamei Eri and this is my partner Tanaka Reina.”  The other girl waved nonchalantly.

“What type of talent?”  She asked as the two in the back of them gently put down the bags.

“We heard of your run of kills and we are impressed by that...”  Risako walked passed them and grabbed her bags.

“No, I do not want that type of job anymore.”  Reina jerked her back.

“You spoiled girl, we don't want you kill anymore, we want you to spy.”  Reina scolded as she looked at the four girls.

“Spy?  Why spy?  I can't do that, I never trained for that.”  Reina laughed at the comment.

“No training is needed, you are just perfect for our placement.  Jun, Sayu, take her to our place NOW!”  Reina yelled as they escorted her to the car.

Risako looked around and seeing the people smiling only made her feel worst to be here right now.  She saw the white van and remembered what happened two days earlier with her stitches still fresh.  Jun and Sayu sat in the front while Eri sat with Risako and Reina in the back,  Eri gave her a piece of paper and had the information of her arrival.

“Risako, we know how great of a killing machine you are and when we heard about your father's death, we were the ones to ask him about Hawaii and we would take care of you.”  Risako punched the seat.

“He said I would live a normal life and don't get into this ever again.”  Reina faint laughter irritated her.

“What's your problem?  You probably didn't do anything like what I did.”  Reina told them to stop the car and came out with Risako.

“You know what, you are such a pain, being young and thinking you are the best at everything, you don't know what I went through, so SHUT UP!”  Reina threw a punch and Risako blocked it.

“Hehe, I guess someone was trained in self-defense, but not this.”  She went into her pocket and took out her gold nails.

Reina lunged straight at her and she tried to avoid until feeling the bridge behind her and swung her around causing Reina to go over and Risako grabbing her at the last moment.

“Well, you were taught well.”  Risako pulled her up and she dusted herself up.

“Let's get to the office before we attract any attention.”  Kamei rushed everybody back in and sped their way through the highway until reaching their destination in downtown Honolulu.

Risako looked at the office and everything looked brand new and expensive, the polished goods were impressive to her eyes, and she sat on the chair right across of Eri.  She went onto her desktop to find her file and saw something that surprised her, Ishikawa Rika.

“Ishikawa Rika, former spy, teaching in Japan.”  Risako looked up in surprise as she remembered her.

“Ms. Ishikawa, was a great spy but gave it up for love, she used to run everything here but saw her girlfriend here vacationing and couldn't get out of her head.  Her mission was with the woman and her connection to the yakuza, the guy you killed.”  Eri started as one of them handed her coffee.

“Ms. Sugaya, do you want anything to drink?”  The girl asked as she saw water as a viable option.

“Water please.”  She responded and the girl walked away.

“Isn't she cute?”  Eri smiled and Risako followed.

“To continue, Ishikawa knew what her girlfriend was doing and convinced her not to do it anymore causing the sting to take his cooperation down here, K&K trading.”  The girl offered her glass and walked away.

“I see, but now why did you pick me?”  Risako asked before taking a sip of the water.

“Well, we needed a person to help a friend of ours, he's been a teacher for a year, and he just informed us that people are after him after he acquired information about a plan that will assist in the killing of many students and it might be caused at one event in about a month's time.”  Risako looked at the watch and it was late summer to her.

“So, basically take down the group before they blow up the area, correct?”  Eri nodded.

“Jun will be assisting you with your work, she has been our best helper since we got her years ago, and now this is her first field assignment.”  Jun ran up to Eri and introduced her to Risako.

“Okay, as long as I don't have to kill, but....”  Eri leaned over to her.

“But what, just say it.”  Eri smiled.

“Well, I still have a regret.”  She said quietly as Eri let out a sigh.

“Regrets can be solved one day, don't worry about it now, so you start tomorrow and wear whatever you want.”  Eri looked at her and decided to give her some of old clothing from the bag.

“Thanks, but...”  Eri paused her.

“Your room is down the hall on the right.”  She picked up the clothes and walked to the room where it was white walls and just a bed near the window was for her.

^ one day they will be back but to make up, we'll see

Chapter 27

Risako set up her plain room with what she had which was the clothes and the pictures of her friends in Japan.  She put them into the drawer and closed it while she stocked up her closet.  Her temporary partner walked in with a smile on her face.

“Risako?  Shall I call you by a different name?”  Jun politely asked as Risako tried to sort out her socks.

“Rii-chan is fine Jun.”  The younger girl said as she saw a mismatched pair.

“Let me have them.”  Jun in a happy tone as she rolled them up into a ball.

Risako still with the look of disgust in her face watched the older one tossed the rolled socks in her hands as she amusingly tossed it left and right.  She looked at her bed and walked over to the main office to see Reina supervising and walked away before the yankii caught her attention.  Risako turned and saw her face from serious to a cheesy smile.  She walked up to her and put her hands on the table as Reina glared at her.

“So, you had a girlfriend in Japan?”  Risako took a step back and tripped over the chair behind her.

“It is a long story.”  She said as she picked herself up.

“Don't play stupid with me.  I know you were paired up with someone there, someone had to be with you if you were a sniper.”  Reina said as she put her legs on the desk.

“She wasn't my girlfriend but my operations partner and I had someone but they ruined it.”  Her voice elevated as she said the last part.

“So nasty break up?  Reina knows about that, you wanted to be free but never felt any freedom so you force it upon others and hate you for it.”  Risako sat in the chair as she realized what she had done.

“Don't worry, I don't want to hear the gushy details but the surface, Eri would make it private but I like everyone to know.”  She laughed as Eri stepped in and stopped the conversation.

“Reina, how dare you degrade her?  You get out of here and do your break, I'll speak to you later.”  Eri yelled as Reina picked up her bento and walked out of the office.

“Rii, don't worry about her, she wants to dig into you and drag everything out of your body.  She is loveable but in the end, she's our best interrogator.”  Eri explained as she offered her a lunch and escort her to the meeting room.

“I feel fine, it's just something I have been trying to fight in my body.”  Risako opened it up to see vegetables and a piece of chicken over rice.

“Love is such a hard thing to describe, you want it but can't force it and when you truly see it, you know you blew it.”  Eri looked over to see the younger girl in tears.

“I messed up.”  Risako said in a low voice.

“Don't worry, you make mistakes, but you learned from it right?”  Risako shook her head.

“It was my first time and I had her in my hands but threw that away.”  She whimpered as Eri lend her a napkin to blow her nose.

Eri comforted the younger girl as she cried through the afternoon and she thought about how Risako felt at her age and remembered her failure but since meeting Reina, she saw something that attracted her, the caring side as she would ask if she was okay and what else she can help with.  Eri saw her face red and her eyes still raw from the crying and gave her a stack of paper, mentioning the operation and the set up for what she has to do.

The person, Mitsui Aika, has been targeted for kidnapping when she arrived with her family in Hawaii couple months ago and the agency has been assigned to control the situation and has come down to needing more security.

“Ms. Mitsui is from the famous textile family.”  Risako wiping away the tears and Eri nodded.

“We wanted someone with a self-defense background to protect her from anybody and tomorrow starts your mission.”  Risako looked at her and realized she had so many questions about school in America.

“Before you ask, don't worry about anything, if you need clothes, we have but you can use whatever to your disposal but no weapons.”  Eri explained as she looked at the younger girl.

“Okay, so what about Jun?”  Risako asked.

“Jun will monitor the exterior with Sayu and you just go to your classes.”  Eri handed a class schedule.

“Good luck and keep your questions to a minimum.”  Eri left the room and Risako ate the cold bento as she tried to recover herself.

Risako found herself wanting something she couldn't have or get unless she returned to Japan but knowing this, she cannot abandon her new mission as a spy and with Jun and Sayu, it will be an interesting showing knowing only tomorrow was back to school for her.

Chapter 28

The next morning she woke up and saw Jun sitting next to her with a plate of eggs and rice and a glass of orange juice.  Jun left it on the table next to her as she tried to get up from her slumber, Risako spent the whole night staring at the ceiling and had flashbacks to her own failure.  Every time she wanted to sleep, she saw Miya and she wouldn't leave her alone.  She ran to the alarm clock as the minutes slowly went by, she found herself crying herself to bed.

“Jun, before you leave, is there something you can do for me?”  She asked.

“Yeah, sure.”  Jun replied as she sat in the chair next to her.

“I want you to hug me.”  She said.

“Okay....”  Jun put her arms around the younger girl and felt the tears run down her shirt.

Jun wanted to ask a question why but somehow she felt something in her to not to bother the moment and kept her near to swallow her fear.  She put her face up and smiled as she wanted a person to feel her pain and luckily Jun was there.  She got up and went to the bathroom to find the place being cleaner than the other room and seeing the scrawny janitor.

“Heyo new person.”  She said.

“Wow, you are great with your work.”  Risako looked at the clean room and the sparkle amazed her.

“Hehe, thanks you are the first person to tell me that.”  The janitor went to her room.

“Ah what is your name?”  Risako extended her hand.

“The name is Linlin and just you are, I am a spy for the company but they keep me as last resort.”  She giggled as she put her gloves away.

“I see.  I am going to use the nicely cleaned bathroom, so see ya later.”  Risako said as she closed the door.

She did her business and came out to Jun handing her clothes and she changed into a t-shirt and jeans and sneakers.  Risako picked up her bag and never thought how light it was and when she looked in there, she saw a bunch of small items not even related to school.  She ran over to the main room to find Sayu overlooking the office.

“Why do I have weapons and no school supplies?”  Risako asked as she dumped the things onto the desk.

“Reina and Eri were considering that you get a out of class pass but they wanted to give you something to protect yourself.”  Sayu said as she filed her nails.

“I usually get two bags one for school and one for work.”  Eri came from behind.

“Well, we don't need you to stay in class for a while, you just have to escape every so often, because you are Mittsi's secretary for student council.”  Risako's jaw dropped as she had to do something extracurricular for the first time in her life.

“Damn, are you serious?  Okay I'll do it like this but I really need to protect myself.”  Eri laughed.

“Well here's a surprise.”  She turned and stood there in fear.

“Hey Risako, I missed you so much.”  The girl with the glasses said as she embraced the younger girl.

Chapter 29

Saki with her glasses on embraced the younger girl as Risako stood there wondering why would she come here.  Eri looked at Saki with concern as she tried to figure out how she got there and Reina appeared with her cup of tea.

“Reina, how did she get up here?”  Eri asked.

“I brought her up and she was wondering around the city with her suitcase wondering if anyone saw Rii-chan, I told her I knew where she was but I had to keep her quiet until we got here.”  Reina explained as she went back to her usual office work.

Jun greeted the new girl and escorted  her to the empty room as Risako picked up her bag and walked out to go to school.  She looked at her watch and knowing she was 10 minutes late, Jun came blazing down and jumped into the car.

“Okay, I have been learning how to drive so here we go.”  Jun stepped on the gas and the car flew forward as she concentrated on the road, she passed six stoplights in a minute.

“Jun, slow down, in case of police.”  Risako warned as she heard the sirens but they all passed Jun.

“Don't worry, I'm under the speed limit.”  Jun smiled as she blitz her way through and skidded into the parking lot.

Risako walked out to feel the pavement and took a deep breath before entering the classroom she was supposed to be in and the teacher gave her a note.

Meeting at 8:00 in the library for Risako.

Risako ran over to the library and saw two people on the table, an older lady and another student talking to each other as they waved her over.

“Hello Risako, we like to welcome you to our school, I am principal Mrs. Lee and our student council president Aika Mitsui.”  She shook both of their hands as they continued on to the conference room for orientation.

“I heard you were sent here on exchange from Japan, so I welcome you and Aika wanted to personally asked about the weather.”  Zthe older woman continued.

“Its been warm but here seems a little more warmer but less humid.”  Aika smiled as she gave her a complimentary pen.

Risako was in the room with the two people for about an hour and was left with Aika for the rest of the day.  The older girl took her around for a tour and as she tried to explain something, a janitor who seemed to be cleaning up started to stare at the two and Risako felt uncomfortable.  Risako walked closer to the janitor to see it was a young man admiring the two but something didn't seem right and excused herself from Aika.

“Why are you staring at us?”  Risako said to the janitor.

“Because I am her personal bodyguard, the name is Kimo, nice to meet you.”  Risako shook his hand and went back to see on Aika.

As she walked back, she saw the sprinklers turn on and she jumped onto the sidewalk in time.  She followed Aika throughout the tour and decided to talk to her in private.

“Aika, you know why I am here right?”  She nodded.

“Yeah, but some of these people are after me instead of protecting me, my father even fears for my best friend to be an enemy.”  She explained as she took out a picture set with her and another girl who look liked Jun.

“Who is she?” Risako curiously asked.

“She is Julie Chun, she is a student at the local university and she came from China to learn more about environmental sciences.”  Aika explained and knew it was Jun after taking a closer look.

“I see, but you can trust me, I know you may not yet but give me a chance and I'll prove it.”  Risako smiled as she gave her a card before going off to her next class.

^ The situation is that Jun was originally there and Risako from her recent adventure back in Japan, she knew about it, so Jun who had already heard about it, had to keep quiet :D

Chapter 30

Risako heard the bell rang and tried to look for the next class but felt someone pulling her inside and she feared that it was a molester so she jumped on top of the person and realizing the shape, she turned on the light to see a tall woman with make up on.

“Rii-chan, Ohayou.”  She said in a soft voice.

“It can't be.....Maasa?”  She questioned as she washed off the make up.

“Yup, now you must be wondering why I am here.”  Risako nodded.

“Saki left in the morning and wrote out a note for me saying that she missed Risako and would find a way to get her back to Japan, so I kinda knew where she was going but the location of where you were, was my task.  I heard that people picked you up and took you in as a new spy, so I looked up the reason why and saw the Mitsui name come up, therefore I walked in and hid in here for the time being.”  Maasa explained.

“It's a janitor closet though.”  Risako scratching her head.

“Yeah, but I have a job at a local game arcade and couldn't wait to see you.”  Maasa held onto her arm as she heard footsteps.

“I see.”  Risako whispered.

The two listened to the chattering until the bell rang and it went silent as they peeked out of the hole, they saw two people talking to each other in casual clothing.  They saw a transfer of paper and went their separate ways.  Both barged out and saw the area empty as they looked around but the security guard was out there patrolling.

“Hey there kid, what you doing out of class?”  The guard asked.

“Sorry, I was wondering around and got lost.”  Risako lied as Maasa walked on by with her uniform on.

“First day eh?  No worries. I can help.”  The guard escorted her to the building over and Risako thank him as she entered the room.

She looked around to see the students staring at her and took her seat in the back, as she looked at the packet in front of her, she flipped through all the pages and giggled.  She took out her pencil and did all the problems in fifteen minutes.  She closed the booklet and took out a piece of gum for her to chew on as the teacher explained the packet.

Minutes later, a big explosion came from the building next to them, Risako ran out to see the thick smoke and students running all over the place.  Risako peeked in and smelt gasoline, she evacuated everybody out of the building with help of the students and saw another explosion go off in the same room and the flames erupted.  Aika, who was in the adjacent room, came out and saw the flames erupt and tried to run down the stairs.  Risako took her over to the side and shaded themselves from everybody.

“Rii-chan, you alright?”  Aika asked.

“I'm fine.  Why were you still in the room?”  She asked.

“I had my homework in there and turned it in before I heard the explosion but telling everybody to get out was difficult.”  Aika explained as Risako remembered the guy who had the paper and the blackish color caught her eye.

“Risako, I want you to be honest, can you protect me?”  Risako looked up and took a deep breath.

“Yeah I will, I just need to do some planning on my part to do so, ok?”  Risako looked over to the field pass the fence and climbed over with Aika as they evacuated the school into the busy streets of the city.

Chapter 31

Risako and Aika had stepped into busiest time usually for the Hawaii people, lunch time, seeing the people walking back to their workplaces after their meal.  The businessmen bumping each other and almost causing a ruckus in the middle of the sidewalk.  Both walked into Jamba Juice as Aika ordered them two Orange Dream Machines.  As they waited for their order, a girl stepped into line looking a little nervous to order and ran back outside to the streets to compose herself.

“That girl looks familiar....”  Risako trying to remember the face with the name.

“You should talk to her.”  Aika suggested as she went to get their smoothies.

Risako walked outside to see the girl still trying to decide and she touched her upon the shoulder and noticed it was Momo.

“Rii-chan, you're here.”  The gleeful teen said as she squeezed her in her arms.

“Yeah, but why did you run out?”  Risako asked as she pulled her to the side.

“I wanted to order but I can't speak English well.”  Momo nervously smiled.

“Okay, let me get you something and you can join us.”  Risako suggested and followed her back into the store.

She put in the order and saw the two talking as she approached the table.  She took a sip of the smoothie and smiled as they continued their conversation.  Before she heard her name called, Momo took her outside and gave her a piece of paper.

“Miya really misses you a lot and she wanted you to look at this.”  Momo said softly as she went back into the store to pick up her smoothie.

Dear Rii,

I am sorry for causing you all this trouble back in Japan and I truly regret being a bad friend when you needed someone and to make up for it, I wanted to give you a present before you left but you went on ahead.  Momo told me that the only way I could be happy is to go to Hawaii to see you but I just don't feel ready to do that yet.  I have my voucher still but won't turn it into a ticket until then, I hope you understand that I still like you a lot and wanting you to be here in Japan.  I will let Momo know about my decision to come but for now, I give you a ring with our initials on it.  Wear if you want to, but if you do not like it, please give it to Momo instead of throwing it away so I know how you feel.

-Miya

Risako teared up after reading the letter and looked at the ring at the bottom with their initials on it and just stared at it to decide to wear it or not.  She walked back in and both were still in the conversation as she placed the ring down.

“Wow, a ring, whose the lucky person, Rii?”  Aika asked as Momo took another sip from her smoothie.

“It was a friend from Japan and I am trying to decide if I should wear it or not.”  The girl contemplated about the ring.

“I think you should...”  Momo stopped her as Risako picked it up and put it on her finger.

“Rii, forgive Miya, she's been calling me since I came here, and it is driving me crazy seeing you two be like this.”  Momo whispered as Risako admired the ring on her finger.

“Give me the phone, Momo.”  Risako looked through her contacts and dialed Miya.

“Hello, Momo, did she accept the ring yet?”  Miya asked.

“Miya, its me, Riichan, I forgive you but won't forget the stuff you put me through, if you come to Hawaii, I will talk about it more, so thank you.”  A silence came upon both of them as another person came on the phone.

“Rii-chan is that you?”  The girl asked.  “Miya is really happy to hear back from you.”

“Airi, come to Hawaii too, we need your help.”  Risako hung up as she went back to her melted smoothie.

The chapter will come up :D

Chapter 32

Risako enjoyed the afternoon with Momo and Aika, she walked through the streets of Waikiki, enjoying the breeze, and sightseeing the strip.  Momo with her Hawaii connection found a loophole in which she became a university student for free.  She carried her small bag around and looked for the hot spots and offered to search for stuff as the journey continued.  Then, they saw a couple holding hands and see them snuggling up with each other.  Risako couldn't bear the sight as she turned and saw a  sign and tried to diverge their attention but it was to no avail.

Aika tilted her head to the side as Risako could only put her head down and avoided looking at all the couples and Momo took Aika to the side.

“Sorry for you to see this but the ring was a make-up present.”  Momo whispered.

“Make-up present?”  Aika questioned as Momo told her to lower her voice.

“Yeah... Miya was trying to get Rii but Airi liked Rii and never got a chance to show her feelings, so Miya is planning to confess.”  Momo explained.

“How romantic!  They must really like each other though but Rii-chan has been quiet about her past life in Japan.”  Aika responded as she only knew the reason why she came here but not the personal problems.

“To be honest, I came here on my own, my partner decided to come down later and....”  Momo got interrupted by a long legged girl.

“Momo?  Is that you?”  The girl lowered her glasses.

“Yurina-chan, I missed you so much.”  Momo squealed as she jumped onto Yurina.

“Same, does Rii know about Miya?”  Momo nodded.

“Ah I forgot, Aika, this is Yurina my girlfriend and Yurina this is Risako's duty for now Aika.”  The younger girl bowed.

The three stuck together as they watched Risako drone the streets of the city and still with the sad expression on her face.  The three caught up to her and went to the ice cream shop to cheer her up and looking over the selection, she ordered a chocolate cone, and sat down eating her ice cream without saying a word.  Yurina shook her shoulder and smiled but it was no use as she seemed to go down into a depression.  Aika took her outside into a private place as no one would look inside and tried to give her a pep talk.

“Rii-chan, do you like Miya?”  She nodded.

“Then you should be happy she is coming down.”  Rii took a deep breath.

“I want to be but she was the reason why I left Japan, I liked her so much that I couldn't stand being around her, I just couldn't say...”

“I love you?”  Aika finished the sentence.

“Sad isn't it?  I leave to gather my thoughts and people find me, they tell me to forgive her, I do that, but all the memories of her torturing me is still fresh, do you think I did the right thing?”  After the last words escaped her mouth, she put her face into her hands.

“To be honest, I did that before and I apologized and even though we still became friends, I wanted to be with her and I knew that I couldn't and lost at the end.”  Aika consoled the younger girl in her arms.

“Was it the right thing?”  Aika paused as she tried to think of the pain and it was an answer that made it hard for her to explain.

“For me.... I did it because I knew I was wrong, Miya knew she was wrong and you are the only person who can make it right for her, be her friend at least, then you can decide how far you want to take it.”  Aika patted Rii on the shoulder as they went back into the store.

As they entered they found a bag in front of Momo and Yurina, it had a note inside about scheme that Aika's father ran from and she closed the bag to find a car in front of them stopped and took them in.

Chapter 33

“Hey Mitsui-san.”  The guy said in a low voice.

“Hey Hiramoto-sama.”  Aika replied and the other girls look at each other.

Risako and Momo looked at each other as Yurina greeted the man and sat down in the backseat cramped.  Aika seemed to keep quiet as he started to speak about not being in school and was taking her back to the school grounds as they called them.

They were driving to the school and saw Jun standing outside the grounds and she was on the phone as Risako distracted her by trying to hand over a soda as they took the turn inside.  The car stopped and the four got out and Risako looked over to the location and saw no one there and breathed a sigh of relief.

“I swear I just saw Julie standing over there.”  Aika looked at the same place.

“Well no one is there now, so let's get to the office.”  Risako said as she led the way to the office.

Momo and Yurina luckily ran off the campus before the security caught them and the guard took them in and the woman across of them was with Eri and Reina as they discussed the situation.

“Mitsui and Sugaya, I understand what the situation might be, so I let you off as a warning, next time you will get detention you hear?”  The principal gave the stern warning and let them go off with Eri and Reina.

“Rii, that was close, I heard about the explosion and Jun called it in, when she was there to find you guys, she didn't see you guys, and I had a feeling you guys went into the city and called into the office.”  Reina said under her breath.

“Riichan, sorry about today, I won't get you into trouble again.”  Aika bowed and walked off to her class.

Eri and Reina walked Risako to the car and drove off to the main office as they saw Sayu behind the desk admiring herself in the mirror.

“Sayu~ kawaii da yo~”  She said to herself.

“Sayu, stop looking at yourself and tell her your good news.”  Reina mocked the bunny as Sayu picked up a paper.

“Okay, we got in contact with your whole crew and they are going to be our backup to the mission, however, three of them are coming in tonight, and they seem to be very anxious.”  Sayu announced as Saki woke up from her nap.

“Everybody is coming to Hawaii?  Yay!”  Saki cheered as she hugged Risako.

“Yay~”  Risako cheered in low spirits and walked over to her room.

Risako sat down at her desk as she took out the letter and her indecision was causing her more pain.  Saki walked in with a can of soda.  She sat next to her as she tried to make her smile but it was no use as Risako was in a bad mood.

“Rii~ gotta talk, let someone know how you feel.”  Saki said as she left the can on the desk.

“It is not that, I still feel uncomfortable that the three are coming down together.”  Risako popped the cap open and took the first sip of the carbonated drink.

Saki sat back down and scooted herself next to the younger girl and let her head on top of Saki's shoulder.  Risako tried to fight back the tears but it was a losing battle and let it run down her face as she wanted to strike something.  She put her head up and Saki looked over to the younger girl.

“Miya said to me before I left that, she hoped that you could still be her friend, that is all, she knows that she screwed up...” Risako interrupted her.

“Saki, Miya is a good person, I see her with Chinami, and I wanted to resist to take any action against Chinami.  I am stubborn and I won't forgive her no matter what but I...”  Saki grabbed her.

“Say it, Rii.”  Saki encouraged her.

“I....love....”  Risako held back and Saki grabbed her shirt.

“You love Miya right?  Say it!”  Saki let go and Risako yelled.  “I LOVE MIYA!”

Saki hugged her as Rii fell into her arms and embraced her as Risako cried everything out of her system.  She fell asleep as they got dinner for the office and Saki labeled a plate for her as they waited for the trio to come.

Three hours later, Risako woke up and saw a person in front of her.

“Hello Riichan~”  The girl in a bandana greeted and Risako felt her heart skip a beat.

^ Take a wild guess XD

Chapter 34

“Miya?”  As Risako rubbed her eyes as she felt her mouth become dry.

“Yes, Riichan, I want to discuss this.”  Miya said in a low voice as she next sat next to her.

“Miya.... we don't have to.”  Miya stroked her chin and smiled.

“No, we have to and if you trust me enough, you will agree.”  Risako closed the door as Miya grabbed her wrist.

Miya pressed herself onto the wall as Risako clasped her fingers with the other girl, Risako pushed her lips on the Miya's and closed her eyes.  Miya felt the pain in the kiss as she didn't resist Risako from going any farther.  Risako lowered her hands to her chin and pulled back as she opened her eyes and Miya became speechless.  Risako walked back to the bed and winked as Miya still in shock fell to the ground with her mouth open and feeling the lip gloss fade onto the other girl's lips.

“Rii.... I love you and I know you hate me even more but give me a chance.”  Risako lifted her up and invited her to the bed.

“I hated you before but it was because of jealousy and since you did apologize, I will too and I have only one question.”  Miya scooted closer as her lips approached her ear.

“Chinami knew about it and scolded me for doing that, Airi recommended that I make up with you, and she would hang out with Chinami for the time being.”  Miya confessed.

Miya placed her hand on top of the younger girl's hand and pushed her body onto the bed and ontinued the kiss.  Miya moved up as she got comfortable and moved her hand to her thighs.  As she slided the hand up to her midsection, they heard a knock at the door.  Miya got up and answered it and a gleeful Chinami replied.

“Sorry Miya, we have news.”  Chinami whispered and both walked out the room and went into the main office.

They arrived and the whole group were sitting around with their boxes filled with food as the pair walked in and Risako grabbed Miya's hand.  Risako smiled as the group looked at them.

“Aww its cute they made up.”  Saki clapped as the other rest followed up.

“Okay, Okay, we have to get this out there.  Hiromoto Hidemasa is after Aika.”  Momo, Yurina, and Risako gasped as the others looked on.

“Why him?”  Airi asked.

“Police girl,  Aika's father and him had a business together and the business lasted until couple years ago, when the police came in and shut it down for gambling.  Weren't you the person taking care of that?”  Reina asked.

“No, my father was and he arrested both but let go of Mitsui because he had no knowledge of it.  But Hiromoto wasn't the name, it was Kusumi.”  Airi replied.

“Kusumi?  Where have I heard the name before?”  Eri pondered and grabbed a book.

Eri saw the name and it was the last partner Aika was with before coming to Hawaii, Kusumi Koharu.

“That is her uncle!”  Airi acknowledged.

“Kuso~ call Jun, update her Sayu, you eight, go out and investigate Aika a little more, we will take care of the rest.”  Everyone scattered as they all approached the new couple.

“Ready?  Let's go!”  Saki marched out followed by the rest of the group.

^ thnx Miya/Rii has been really cute :D

Chapter 35

They traveled in pairs as Captain and Maasa lead the way, while Miya and Rii dragged behind as they continued to get acquainted again.  Chinami looked back as Airi put her hand on her shoulder.

“They look really happy...”  Chinami low tone was different from the usual.

“Yeah, I am happy for them, they look really comfortable.”  Airi smiled as Chinami noticed something interesting.

“I like your smile.”  Chinami patted her on the back.

“Same here, you like ice cream?”  Airi asked and Chinami started to jump up and down.

“Yeah, its awesome and what about flavors?”  Airi looked around and whispered her answer.

“Chocolate.”  Chinami giggled.

“Same here!”  Momo turned around and witness the two talking up a storm.

The eight walked to the school grounds seeing a circle surrounding two people,  Yurina looked over and noticed Aika in the middle as the other six tried to break through but seeing Aika on the ground, the students dispersed, and security came out of the shadows looking over the fallen girl.

“Where's the student?”  The man asked the other guy.

Aika tried to stand up but looking at her injuries, she sat back down as Jun came running over with her backpack looking at the group.  Jun looked back to Aika and tried to carry her to her car and winked at the group before she left the parking lot.  Rii looked at the group of students and ran over to them as they started to laugh at the scene.

“Were you guys responsible?”  Rii called to them.

“Why do you care?  Exchange students!”  The guys started to laugh as her fist started to form.

“Rii, let me take care of this.”  Maasa walked up to them and threw the first punch as the guy flew to the tree and his head bent over his body.

The other guy tries to punch her but a guy held back his fist and heard his bones crack in his resistance.  The others ran as the guy gave them a stare and smiled.

“I remember you were small, Rii-chan.”  The guy moved his hair back from his face.

“Watanabe-san!”  Rii hugged him and the others turned their heads to the side.

“You eight, protect Mittsi at all cost, Rii, I expect you to follow through.”  She patted her on the head as he crossed the street to the black car.

“He was my father's best friend, he went to Hawaii to get away from his mistake.”  Rii waved as the car pulled away.

She explained about him finding a kid unconscious on the school's ground and taking him to the infirmary.  He wrote out about his depression and his admiration for Watanabe, eventually leading the guy to be stronger and faster than the rest.  He remembered how he was polite and picked on by the others, then the guy got the flag in the annual game.  Watanabe praised him but he drove himself into obsession and he finally lost it.  My father took him aside and told him to step down, he refused at first, but after his death, he left for good.

“So what is he doing now?”  Airi asked as Chinami wrapped her arm around her.

“He is a contractor for the army.”  Saki replied.

“He leads the defense tactics of the protectors.”  Risako confirmed.

The eight looked around and walked onto the campus seeing the school being quiet, they split among themselves to find a clue, and Miya gave a call to everyone as she entered the bathroom.  They saw all the bad things about people and the list of people.  They looked through the list and called Reina at the office.  It was confirmed that all the girls got injured badly that they refused to go back on the school grounds.  Importantly, all were presidents of the student council and Rii went back outside and called Jun.

“Julie, is she alright?”  Rii asked as Jun's voice softened.

“I don't know, she looks really bad.”  Jun replied.

“I know of a cure.”  Rii explained and saw the ingredients in the room.

“Okay, let me mix it and gave it to her.”  Jun carefully got them together and mix it for her.

“Now let her drink it.”  Jun carefully gave it to Aika and heard a groan.

“She seems to be much healthier.”  Jun hung up as the group walked out of the bathroom.

They looked out and took down all the names, the paper was folded into Saki's pocket, and walked off as they entered the ramen place.  As they crossed Miya grabbed Rii's hand and grasped it tight as she felt scared, Rii took a deep breath, and let everything in her mind go.

^ The story behind that will be in this chapter

Chapter 36

They all sat across of their partner as they ordered their ramen, the big guy took down the order as they started to talk to each other and Miya grabbed Rii's hand.  She looked into her eyes and with their lips converging toward each other, the waiter comes in with their glasses of water.  They both retract back with their shrewd smiles.  They looked at the others and they seem to be not bothered by the waiter and they went back to their own world.

“Miya~ I read the letter you left before going to the airport and...”  Miya placed her finger on her lips.

“Ai told me, Chinami knew and everyone turned on me, they thought I went crazy, but the thing was... I wanted you to understand that I gave up because Chinami gave me something.”  Rii's mouth widened as she began to get thoughts of the gift.

Rii looked over at Chinami as Airi began to sip her water through a straw, Chinami smiled at the gesture, and her smile detracted as she looked over at Rii.  She looked back at Miya.

“Yeah, what you are thinking right now, it happened.”  Rii closed her mouth as she drank the water.

“I see, so how did you responded?”  Rii asked as Miya began to hold her hands together.

“I was scared and Chii tortured me mentally, my mind became scarred at every thing she did, and if it wasn't for Saki jumping in, I would have been not me anymore.”  Rii felt her body heat increase as she aimed her attention at Chii.

“Rii.... don't.”  Miya said softly as she felt her lips on her cheek and tapped Chinami' shoulder.

The two went outside into a pocket near the restaurant as Chinami stopped in front of her and her smile came out again, but something didn't feel right in her.

“Miya told you the thing right?  I was wrong and I told her that I felt hurt after all the times I saw you guys together.”  Chinami went closer and whispered to her ear and her hand contacted her face.

“Why?  WHY?  WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?”  Risako's voice increased as she felt the frustration in her.

“Riichan, I didn't mean to do it.  I wasn't thinking and Saki tackled me down onto the ground seeing Miya crying, she came out punching, and everybody was trying to get her off and all couldn't until Maasa held her back.”  Chinami felt the stinging on her face.

“I just can't forgive you, you knew about us, but why?”  Miya appeared behind them.

“She wanted to you to know that, if you did love me, this would happen, it was a final gift before she would let me go forever.”  Chinami nodded as tears came down her face.

“So Miya, was it good?”  Chinami closed her eyes.

“No.”  She said with a low voice.

Risako looked back at Chinami and took a deep breath before she started to speak again.  Miya wrapped her arms around her and kept her arms in place.  Chinami looked back and saw her soften up her stance as she tried to find the words.

“Chii, that was wrong, I want you to understand that you shouldn't go there.”  She nodded.

“After seeing her face and Saki jumping in, I couldn't protect myself, and all I felt was remorse in my body.  I spent the next day in the room by myself locked up.  I could only think about how Saki came in and her fists were like yours.  Before I could move, Miya was at the door, as she tried to console me and I felt I lost.  Her mind, heart, and body was for you and taking away a precious part of her, was my revenge but I soon realize I just wanted someone who would be there for me.”  Chinami paused as Airi came out.

“Miya told me to come upstairs and tried cheering her up and told me everything, then I just told her, if you love someone, you have to let them make that decision.”  Chinami smiled as Airi was patted on the head.

“So we spent the next couple of days talking and Airi had given up when you left, plus she had the feeling.”  Chinami went back to her frown.

“Riichan, don't stay angry.  It was a mistake.”  Rii interrupted.

“I still want to get a piece of you and there is nothing that you can do to stop it but I give you a chance now but Airi get something frozen, because I want a chance.”  Rii's stern warning was heard and walked back into the restaurant.

“Chii, don't let it bother you, Riichan is just protecting her, and its a regret she didn't have that chance.”  Airi quietly went away as their meals was on their tables.

Man Chinami has a mean streak in her ! Poor Miya

So Saki saved the day for Miya  :thumbup

I suppose Chii's logic did kinda work, in a really odd sort of way, but I think that Miya and Rii would get together and what Chii did was not helping the two at all, it was her own feelings for Miya clouding her judgement!
Title: Re: Under Peace Chapter 37 8/21
Post by: kuro808 on August 21, 2010, 12:54:19 PM
Chinami was okay in the beginning but it was something in her that caused the change and that will be hidden as a chapter later on or imagination

Chapter 37

Rii gave her a strong stare at Chii as she nervously ate her noodles and Airi trying to deflect the attention.  Saki looked at the situation between them and gave a sigh as she took another sip of the soup.

“Saki.... Does Rii know about the scar?”  Maasa asked as she gave out another sigh.

“No, she kept that as a secret.”  Saki looked away as she bit down on her lip.

The rest of the meal went quietly as the group left the restaurant and caught up to Miya as she was holding Rii's hand.  Miya turned to see Saki motioning to her to stay behind with her as Maasa conversed with Risako.

“Saki, is there a problem?”  Miya asked as the group went farther away from them.

“Riichan needs to know about Chinami before she lays a hand on her.”  Miya looked down as she tries to consider a way to prevent it.

“Chinami will be fine....”  Miya whispered as they caught up with the group.

Chinami kept up her talking feeling the rage behind her as Risako could only hold her partner's hand as she waited to go back to the office.  Walking up the stairs, Reina stopped her as the group got upstairs.  The look in her eyes shown the hurt that she had caused to people and slapped her across the face as she rubbed the area.

“Eri knows this but you have to know before you do what you want.  Violence never wins anything, I learned that a while back and for how much I yell, scream, and groan at Eri, she understands what I am trying to say.  If you think that punching her will make you feel better do so and apologize.”  Reina took a breath as Risako took a step back.

“I just want her to know how I felt, she wasn't the one who stopped it from happening, it was me and the frustration of her doing that to Miya made me angry.”  She paused as she remembered Miya's first move at the warehouse, feeling her hands on her bare skin, and wanting to open herself up.

“You thinking about the times, right?”  Reina asked.

“Yeah, but Saki protected Miya for me and I just want her to know that no one forces Miya to...”  Reina put her finger on her lips.

“Go ahead, Eri and Sayu have the medical stuff out for her.”  Risako tilted her head.

“Why would you guys have medical equipment for?”  Risako asked as it took a turn in her head that something will go wrong.

“Chinami sustained major injuries, Saki broke her ribs and caused minor damage to her internal organs when she attacked her.”  Reina confessed as Risako took a deep breath.

“Just get an ice pack.”  Risako walked up.

She passed by the group and saw Miya and Saki next to each other as Risako lowered her head and both entered the empty room.  She closed the blinds and Chinami sat down as Risako leaned against the wall.

“Lift up your shirt!”  Risako commanded as the older girl lifted to see the bruising.

“I know who did it and I won't hit you there but I still will not give you mercy.”  Chinami stood up and faced her as Risako rounded her once.

“I want to say sorry again and that you deserve every right to do what you have to do.”  As the last words left her mouth, her fist connected to her jaw, Chii fell to the ground as Eri and Sayu brought in the ice pack.

After a minute, Chinami opened her eyes.  Feeling the punch connect to her jaw unexpectedly she adjusted it and put it on there.  Risako walked up and hugged her with all her might.

“Chinami, you are a good person inside, just how you felt inside made you become that person, and I just hope that it isn't personal anymore, just something I would do for any friend, even if I knew them.”  Chinami cringed in pain but returned the hug as the two walked out.

“Okay with that over, we have one thing for you to do, Risako.”  Reina announced.

“What is it?”  She asked.

“Want to go sniper a person?”  She smiled as she saw her shiny new toy in the corner.

^ a good guess would be suffice and for Rii and Chii, they won't be fighting as so much as the next chapter will have more or less a theme to the chaos

Chapter 38

Risako looked at it and it was longer than what she used in Japan but the caliber was bigger and the fact that her target was the Hiromoto Hidemasa.  Saki managed to get a better look as she saw the mechanics of the gun, the trigger was less sensitive and the scope could go much farther.  The other six sat around waiting for the two to get back into the meeting room.  As Miya sat toward Reina, Reina left her hand on top of her shoulder.

“Reina-san, Rii seems to be happy about the gun, why let her kill again?”  Miya asked as she waited for her.

“It's her nature, we can leave her spying but if she doesn't do what we want her to do, we cannot accomplish our mission.”  Reina looking through her papers as a new note was written.

“It's the other girl right?  She has been trying to find ways to take out Jun and save her.”  Miya paused as Reina silenced her with a kiss on the cheek.

“You got it right, I know you like Rii-chan a lot and the thing is that, we can't let her stay her.”  Reina admitted.

“I want to ask her about something but I don't know how to say it.”  Miya looked around as everyone was still talking to each other.

“Okay, if it is important, the room is down the hall and on the right, you have to sign out the key, as many of us intend to have fun whenever possible, I don't know what you may be looking for, so if you have any more questions, just ask.”  Reina winked as the two started to walk out of the closet.

Rii walked over to Miya as she let her hang her head on her shoulder and Saki gave a kiss to Maasa on the cheek.  Eri walked around giving them a folder filled with the information needed for the mission and Miya had the key in hers as she put it in her pocket without letting Rii notice it.  With Eri handing out the last package, Reina turned on the projector showing the person of interest and Koharu, which they had to be careful as she might be mentally unstable.

Dozing off the eight looked at the picture and just knew the plan had to be really simple but it was only for Saki and Rii as the others had to keep watch and the distance between all the people involved.  Miya still looking around, she found a paper and it read something that Captain wrote about Rii.

Miyachin, please take care of her, Rii is very sensitive and don't get angry at her, she may not admit it but, she has her times in being incorrect.  We should be there to support her and knowing what is out there, I want you to take care of my sister.

Saki :D

Miya teared up as the meeting continued as Rii looked back and notice her eyes just turned red, and gave her a nudge about that, letting them laugh between themselves.  Reina finished her presentation and let them set up the list of items needed as they all compiled a lot of drinks and simple weapons.

“Rii, let's go, I turned in my list early.”  Miya smiled as Rii dropped off her list and was taken out of the meeting room.

“Miya, be careful....”  Risako thought to herself

@oddball pretty much

Now I want to say I am so sorry in doing this but this chapter will have a lot of convo and something to sort of carry over for now :nervous

Chapter 39

Miya had the key in her pocket as she led the way to the room and she opened the room to see the dark area and turned on the light to see a worn out couch and the smell of lavender as the air freshener was keeping the room fresh.  Miya closed the door behind her with Rii as they both landed on the couch with smiles on their faces.

“Miya~ why did we go in here?”  Rii felt Miya's lips on top of hers.

“I just want you here.”  Miya caressed her face and seeing her soft eyes.

Rii had a thought in her mind as she felt Miya work down her neck and quickly laying down on the couch, she opened her eyes and pushed her aside.

“Miya, I don't like this....”  Rii sat up as Miya crossed her arms.

“Rii....”  Miya frustrated punched the pillow as she turned toward her.

“I want to but I feel uncomfortable being in her alone.”  Miya relaxed her arms and placed her hand on her head.

“Actually, I felt we could talk about what happened in Japan.”  Rii looked away as she felt a lump in her throat.

“You always knew that I would be with you but I wanted something for you.”  Miya smiled.

“It was me being faithful right?”  Rii nodded.

“I saw you with Chinami and I felt shot like someone hit me with a bullet and never felt like that before.”  Miya wrapped her arms around Rii.

“Can I say that I wanted to make you jealous?”  Rii shook her head.

“I was waiting for you to be upfront and actually something.... nice for me.”  Rii felt her hands on her midsection.

“If I do so, then we have to have mutual fun.”  Both started to laugh as Miya placed her chin on Rii's shoulder.

Miya rubbed her partner's stomach as Rii leaned her head back and just hummed into Miya's ear as the sweet melody was just the indication of pleasure.  After a few hundred rubs, they switched positions and had the time to themselves as their worries passed them by with all the rest of the group just outside the door.

“They sound they are having fun.”  Maasa whispered to Saki.

“You have a dirty mind.”  She giggled as the rest giggled with her.

“Not like we have been alone at one point, my little play toy.”  Her eyes widened as she remembered that line.

“Okay, Maasa has her thing to do.”  As they both drag themselves into the meeting room

^ yeah its a thing between them as they try to be more romantic

Chapter 40

The two left the room with eyes staring at them, they whistled by them as they all started to notice the sweat running down their forehead and a suspicious musk came from the room.  Reina unlocked the door to see none of the items moved but the couch was rather warm.

“Miya!  How was everything?”  They both looked at each other and laughed.

“It was good and just something we need to do sometimes to stop anyone from bothering us.”  Miya explained as Eri whispered in the kitty's ear.

“Okay, you two move along, Eri and I have to discuss business, and this room shall be off limits for the night.”  Reina took Eri in and locked the door behind them.

The group followed the couple behind them as they tried to keep quiet about the situation in the room.  Miya looked back for a glimpse seeing them hiding behind a plant as Momo stood out and waved at them.  They decided to go back into the main room seeing Lin and Sayu having their early dinner and managed to find leftovers for them to eat.

“Rii, you want some chicken?”  Miya asked as Rii looked at Sayu and Lin's plate.

“Nah, I think we need to order out and I have some money.”  Rii replied as they both got their coats and walked out to the cool evening.

Walking down the crowded street, the lights flickering on as the sunlight dimmed to the night stars glimmering in the sky.  A block down, an empty restaurant in their view and walked in to see the owner's happy face.  They sat at a corner table as they took a view of the streets and a call came in as they were ready to order.

“Rii-chan, we like to join you.”  Saki asked as she heard an excited Maasa from behind.

“Sure, but can you tell Chinami to come too with Airi.”  The silence came upon them.

“Okay.... Rii, I thought you don't like Chii.”  Risako laughed.

“I still dislike her but I have a favor for her.”  Saki handed off the phone to Chinami.

“Chii, from the window do you see two guys outside in a black car.”  A short pause came upon them and heard a hmm.

“Yes, I have a feeling they might do something, want your weapon?”  Chinami asked as Rii looked at Miya.

“I have it and a weapon for Miya, please come down quickly.”  She hung up the phone and looked at the owner.

“I want a chicken stir-fry, Miya what do you want?”  Rii smiled as her eyes glow in the light.

“I want the same.”  Miya smiled back and turned to see the two guys enter the restaurant.

As the two guys enter their order they looked at the two drinking their water and chatting it up.  One looked at the couple and decided to walk up to them as he had a badge with him but it was fake as to entrap them.

“Hello, ladies, seems you guys are having a nice dinner?”  The guy politely asked them.

“Well we just ordered, seems you guys are going for take-out.”  Miya smiled and saw the badge.

As he looked at them, the owner came from behind and offered them their food as the guy pulled back and winked toward the outside but the two girls came in instead and smiled at the couple.  The two guys ran outside and saw their men on the ground as the other two sat beside them.  The men came in with their guns raised and right behind them was Airi  with her gun.

“Hands up boys!”  They turned toward her and heard the clicks behind them.

“Follow what she says.”  Rii said in a stern voice.

Airi and Chinami walked them over to the car as Rii and Miya asked for their plates to go and Saki and Maasa waited outside as they started up the car and drove away as they got back to the office with all the others waiting for them.

@Oddie unfortunately no time to eat

Chapter 41

Reina got the two guys into the basement as the group tried to look through the mirror as the two got themselves ready for an interrogation.  Reina left the two guys blindfolded and turn on the sound to the room for the eight to listen in to the conversation.  Eri looked through her notes as she had their questions ready for them.  Lin waited for the two to be seated before taking off the blindfolds.

“Do you think Hiromoto is behind this?”  Miya held onto Rii's hand.

“I wouldn't be surprised but there is something on my mind that doesn't make any sense.”  Rii mumbled.

The two men saw the interrogators and sat back in their seats, the eight was on the edge of their seats as Reina walked around as Eri took down the notes.  Lin left the room and Reina said her first question.

“Who is behind this?”  She asked as the two looked at each other.

“You cannot stop us.”  Reina had locked their wrists together and to their chairs as they were stuck to the ground.

“Seemingly, you guys are stuck here and I have my ways to make you guys admit to who is your boss.”  Reina smiled and took out a picture of one of the guy's family.

“You cannot touch them.”  He stuck out his tongue and gave a call to his family.

Hearing the family's screams, he swallowed his pride and let out one word: Kusumi.

“So Hiromoto is behind this?”  The guy shook his head as tears flowed down his eyes.

“Kusumi Koharu.”  He uttered.

The eight were taken aback to the revelation, Rii looked at her fingers as she grew confused about the plan but realizing that the threat was Hiromoto, she continued to look at the two men.  Reina's mood was calm but feeling the tone in her voice, they decided to see what else they go know about the group in general.  Eri wrote down a note and Lin came in to retrieve the note, the Chinese came in and left it with Saki.

“She is on her way to get Aika back, Hiromoto got us into a trap, he knows who the people are and now they will get everyone.”  Saki announced.

“Okay, the plan is to protect Aika at the hospital.”  Maasa declared.

Chinami and Airi called their connections to the hospital and all were assigned to the basement, however, they were all given the information on their job as the boss knowingly was a familiar face: Takahashi Ai.  The eight walked out of the room and into a van as they got their scrubs and waited for the destination.

“Seems fun.”  Momo sounded excited.

“Hopefully.” Rii said to herself.

^ yeah, I am kinda getting to the point of wrapping it up and it may end with three more chapters because it is weird to stretch it out without applying any more twists and I want to get to more one shots than chapter fics

Chapter 42

The calm atmosphere during the evenings gave them a chill down their spine as they walked down the corridor to the locker room, unexpectedly empty, they looked around to see if the area was clear and laid out a map.

“The hospital has many areas that we must protect, first, we need to keep in contact with Jun within the hospital walls, reason for these phones.”  They each got a phone with the numbers to reach each other.

“We might have to split into four groups, Momo and Yurina will take the lobby, Maasa and Saki take the cafeteria, Chinami and I will take the room, and Rii and Miya, you have to stay here in the basement.”  Airi explained, giving them a disgusting image in their mind.

Without any complaint, they all got into their scrubs and left their phones on with each group going to their locations within the hospital.  Miya and Rii found themselves with too much space in between as the doors was closed.  Opening the door, Miya saw the girl with a knife in front of her partner.

“Rii, are you okay?”  She whispered as she saw the blood on the knife.

“You're next.”  She said as she charged Miya and Rii threw a pole at the women causing her to trip onto the floor.

“Koha, stop!  Aika wouldn't like this.”  Rii still holding her midsection as the blood started to flow out of her body.

“Aika-chan was in love with me, she had fun with all the trips we went and we did everything but her father ruined that, I want him to realize his daughter can't be saved.”  Miya kicked the knife away as Rii stumbled onto the ground.

Miya closed her eyes and let out her tears as she didn't want to watch Rii struggling but her hold began to strengthen onto her wrist.  Miya grabbed her by the collar and slammed her onto the wall, hearing her head hitting it.  Rii got up and leaned onto the door as she tried to control her breathing as the doctor came out to save her.

“Kusumi-san, if you love Aika, you would understand this.”  Her fist compressed into her ribs as she heard something popped in her body, seeing her fall to the ground as she couldn't catch her breath.

Koha fell to the ground sprawling as she felt the pain of her broken ribs on the cold pavement, Miya turned to see the six pairs of eyes at the carnage, the blood pool, and the woman fighting her way up to stand.  Before any person could murmur a word, Miya raged over her partner's injury, with the final blow from her foot contacting Koha's face as she flew across the floor feeling the sharp object penetrating her.

“I can't feel my arm.”  Koha complained as she saw the blade sticking out of her shoulder.

The other doctors ran over to the other woman as Rii was taken into the E.R. Miya took the stairs to the lobby as she ripped off her scrubs and cried in the stairway.  She punched the wall twice seeing the blood coming out of her knuckles as Chinami approached her.

“Miya.... what.... happened?”  Miya looked up and saw the blood on her hands.

“My hands are dangerous and it can't tell the difference between friend and foe, and I failed her.”  Chinami placed her arms over her shoulder as Miya whimpered into her shoulder.

“I'm sorry, I wasn't there to protect her either.”  Chinami thought as she could only feel the guilt from Miya.

Chapter 43

Miya stepped out of the stairway wiping away her tears as the group walked up to the waiting room waiting for Rii to get out of surgery.  Reina and Eri came running into the room as Lin and Sayu followed them in.  Miya sat near the window as she started to pray and her lips quiver at the thought of her dying on the table.

“Natsuyaki, come with me.”  Reina yelled at the scared girl.

Miya followed her to the docks as she sat on the steps leading down to the back of the hospital.  Reina scratched her head thinking of the words to say to her.  She remembered the day where her friend at the academy failed an assignment that caused her to fall to her death.  The lifeless body made her tear up about the loss of an important person.  She walked back to her and gave her shoulder.

“Miya, there is something I never told anyone.  My best friend died in training, that was the only time I ever cried.  I have seen many cried after a bad day but ever since she died, I only cried that once.”  Reina smiled as she wiped the tears away.

“I heard that Koha got treated and was sent to the police for an investigation, I don't know what will happen but keep your head up.”  Reina ran her fingers through her hair as she continued sobbing.

“I never seen a person bleed that much, I usually leave it to my bodyguards to my work and I don't see them until the job is done, I am afraid...”  Reina pressed her head toward her shoulder.

“Don't worry, you have everybody here, that's the important thing.”  Reina got up and walked back to the room.

Miya looked outside as she felt something behind her and the feeling of something warm behind her made her close her eyes as she felt the hands go on her shoulder.

“Excuse me, are you my daughter's friend?”  The voice said to her.

“Yes, I am and I want to be with her forever, she thought me that I wasn't strong without her.”  As she whispered to the voice.

“You are strong, she should be saying that to you.”  She heard the laugh and she turned around to see nobody behind her.

“I am a spirit worried about my child, she is great young lady, thanks to her step-father.  I want you to believe in her, she will get better through your thoughts.”  Miya understood and ran to the chapel.

She got on her knees as she could only say her regret in not protecting her at that time and everything came out of her mouth as she wanted to truly be a protector for her friend.  The rest saw her on her knees and followed her lead.  The group just said their wishes to the altar as they could only give their strength to the injured girl.

After fifteen minutes, they saw a tall man out the door as they spoke to Reina and Eri, watching Reina's reaction, they seem to feel the knot to get tighter.  Reina walked away and tried to keep her composure as she spoke to the team.

“She's getting better but the area was an old wound from her training and it seems to not be healing as well as they like and it may take a while.”  Reina explained.

Before Miya spoke, she walked back outside and just took a breath as she felt the voice in her head again.

“Rii says she is trying hard and she wants to ask you something.”

“What is it?”  Miya whispered.

“Would you love her if she was skinnier?”  Miya looked up.

“I would love her no matter, as long as she pulls out to be alive.”  Miya walked back and put her hands back together.

I just saw that I could end it, without any other problems but I know it seems weird but what the hell :nervous

Chapter 44

Miya began her prayer as she could feel everybody still behind her and she opened her eyes to see an elderly man by the door.

“Who are you praying for?”  He asked.

“My friend, she got stabbed this morning, and I feel it to be my fault for this to happen.”  The old guy laughed.

“It's never a person's fault for their lack of actions, it just happens, and you seem to care for her a lot.”  Miya stood up and bowed her head down.

“We are really close and my feelings for her is strong, enough to ask her for marriage.”  The old man disappeared as Reina peeked in.

“Rii is in the recovery room, we wanted you to see her first.”  Reina gave a smile as she grabbed her wrist.

Miya began to get nervous as they got into the elevator and couldn't figure out what to say to her friend, her close friend, her girl... friend.  The doors opened and all the smiles led her to the room as she took a breath before opening the door as the dusk appeared through the window.  Rii sat up as she saw Miya walk through the curtain.

“Miya.... I'm sorry.”  She started to cry as she grabbed Miya in.

“I should apologize, I should have protected you, don't hate me.”  Miya wrapped her arms around her mate.

“I need to tell you this.”

“What is it?”

“My wound was in an old area during training, I told my father that I got it fixed but never got around to healing properly and I am going to pay the price.”  Miya let go her grip as took a seat by her.

“I suffered a bacterial infection and it caused me to lose fifteen pounds, now the infection came back because I wanted to fight to make sure she was down before she could get you.”  Miya placed her hand in hers.

“You seem alright to me.”  Rii shook her head.

“For now, but I have to leave the team in the end, I only have a while to stay here, and I am going to live with some family.”  Miya put head on her shoulder.

“I don't like this either, no one wants to, however, don't say that you are going to leave because of injury, because that's chicken of you.”  Rii took a deep breath.

“I know, but Reina and Eri knew that I would leave after because of Ai and Risa, they had to make me swear that I would not take a vendetta for others.  Miya, I have a promise to hold, I know that you want to continue but I can't”  Miya looked down.

“I just can't say anything any more, without you, I don't want to anymore but its a livelihood already, what can I do without killing?”  Rii laughed.

“Reina and Eri gave me a going away present.”  Rii pointed toward the bag and opened it to find a menu.

“We run a gift shop in the shopping center, we make cakes!”  Miya started to tear up as the rest came in.

“Thanks for your help, now we have to do one more thing.”  Reina looked over at Eri.

“Kamei Eri, thank you for you help for this time, I know you got a job back in Japan, and you are going to take the Chinese girls with you leaving that annoying girl with me.  However, I congratulate you on your new offer and I wish you good luck.”  They all bowed toward her before leaving the room looking at Rii.

“So, you got your wish right?”  Rii nodded.

“I will be there in uniform, in the coming weeks.”  All gave her hug as they left the couple alone.

“I want you to be the best but if any guy hits on you, I will release my rage on them.”  Both laughed as they got their last kiss before she left.

Rii laid herself back down and went to sleep as she felt relieved of the duties and hopefully Miya could be a good waitress.

First Insight

Risako tied back her golden hair with her sight aiming outside the window, she never fully expected to go like this again after two years being hidden from the world.  She was awoken by a ring from a familiar mate who had been itching for some action but without her connections she had no weapons for her but there was a motive behind going back to the field:  Copycat

That was the code name she had heard from sources around her a copycat had been around shooting carelessly at the victims.  Rii was aware that no one would ever do the same mission again but the copycat was performing it with ease but with two years on the sidelines she needed to get back to straightening up the problems from before.

The problem was.... she needed find the people around her to stop the copycat from striking again.
