The way she looks, the way she acts, how tiny she is, it can't be possible

Some girls in AKB appear on my radar kinda slowly. I'll start to notice them from time to time without really knowing their name. Then I'll see something specific about them I like and learn who they are and finally I'll follow them regularly.

Miorin kinda just power smashed her way into my focus in one hit

It was like, one day I didn't have a clue who she was or hadn't even noticed her and then suddenly 'whoa, who the heck is that totally awesome, cutesy, silly girl!?' 10 minutes later I'd found her name and I followed her from then on. I think she has a real addictive personality that once you've noticed her you kinda have to pay attention to her from then on.

I love the way she talks and the whole sort of spaced out way about her. And her headbutting makes me simultaneously laugh and cringe everytime I see it. I do hope that she gets to develop more though cause, although I could happily see her do the same thing forever, I think Barrie hit it spot on that she will need to develop to carry on rising.

Miroi Ichikawa (aka Fresh Lemon) turns 18 today, 2月12日- wishing Miori a great day and a great year shared in love with those close to her!!

Girl burst upon our collective consciousness with a spritz of lemon and perhaps a bit of wtf? when she first started getting attention during various performances. She has shown talent, grit, and has a lovely singing voice. Perhaps because of her small size and high voice, there is a tendency to write her off as a one trick pony. But watch her when she is in a skit- she constantly does little character bits & mannerisms, even when it is not her line....such as the nun who prays in a Catholic manner when hoping her team comes up with the correct answer, or the littlest sumo player who nods her assent while another character is speaking. She is doing her best with the material she is given, she may be small, but she has the heart of a lion.

When she first starting getting a lot of airtime, I was so annoyed by her...I dunno what it was. But now I love seeing her on tv, girl just cracks me up and I don't think she really means to be funny--she's just being herself man.

Miorin ended up being pretty damn cool. When I first saw her, and more importantly heard her, I thought that this was going to be so bad. Luckily, she had a lot to bring to the table other than a goofy catchphrase and a crazy lisp. She's pretty funny, cute, and has an awesome overall personality. The way she interacts with others can also be pretty hilarious. Go Lemon!

I still have mixed feelings about Miorin but I do have to confess that she is slowly starting to win me over. When she first started appearing on TV shows I didn't really mind her but her gimmick got old real fast. I cringe whenever I hear Miorin's catchphrase but fortunately she has proved that there's more to her than her ridiculous lemon gimmick. Miorin is actually pretty entertaining... as long as she doesn't talk about lemons lol.

Anyways I really wanna know what Miorin's off screen persona is like. AKB48 girls are supposed to be more real than your average idols but come on, Miorin can't be THAT weird for real.... or can she?
