I think it's funny how the S/mileage 2nd gen members blogged about wanting to watch Mano-chan's show, but yeah...
Now I just wonder what they think about it! This is definitely not a show aimed at teenage girls.

...And I never noticed before that the pic in the first post has an octopus floating in the sky grabbing striped panties.

When watching ep01, I thought Mano was just gonna pull some dirty lines and some border-idol stuff. While Kaho got all physical in scenes. Was proven wrong straight in ep02. :nervous
I would've liked it either ways though, seeing Mano staying active already makes me really happy. :oops:

...Tenga-guy air-humping just makes it better~ :cow:

I also watched an interview with the director, Shion Sono. Wow, they got a big name for this. He talks a little about the dorama, but to me he sounds more like, I've been fired from my latest project, screw that, I'm going to mess around with this one as much as I can :V

Post by: Slack on April 23, 2013, 12:08:03 PM: The main character is a normal highschooler in Aichi prefecture with a crush on the beautiful transfer student from Tokyo. (Mano)
He finds one day that he has telepathy and can hear people's inner thoughts, which leaves him with a predicament.
He wants to use his powers to save the world, but as he meets other people with ESPer powers, he realizes that he's just as likely to end up as a loser that uses them for perverted purposes.

On top of that, he hears the dark thoughts of his crush, who at the end of the first episode thinks about the main character: "That guy definitely faps thinking of me."

The guy running the local cafe is his friend, and happens to have telekinesis. Unfortunately the only things he can move are perverted in nature.
"I can move a porn mag, but not newspapers. I can move lotion, but not shampoo. I can move AV DVDs but not movies."
This guy is also something of a Tenga connoisseur.

The main character's childhood friend is a yankee girl. (Kaho) She also discovers she has telepathy as well, which causes her distress since everyone around her seems to think she's a slut. At first, she just wants to get rid of her powers altogether.

That's the basic rundown of the 4 main characters. It looks like there's going to be even more ESPers introduced as the story goes on.
The third episode looks like it will focus on a guy who has teleportation. Unfortunately he can't teleport his clothes with him.

Post by: ODB on June 25, 2013, 01:25:29 PM: I just stumbled across this drama.. loving it so far. Sion Sono is a pretty interesting director. I'm sure most of you will already be aware of Love Exposure, but if you're not you should check it out. It's pretty epic.

But the groups subbing it seem to be very slow, & one I think has quit. Are there any similar shows anyone can recommend so the wait for the next episode doesn't seem so long?
