Anyone like アルカラ(arukara)? I like this band more and more with each release. Their frontman is rather eccentric  and puts on a good live show. This is their new PV from their new album 「こっちを見ている」 out on July 13th:

My favorite jrock band is Onmyouza, very good metal with a focus on the dark side of ancient japanese history and mythology.

First off, thanks for every contribution within this thread. I've already found several interesting new bands, or new releases by bands I know that I missed.

And especially a big thanks for the link to tricot's video as I really dig that song and all the other videos the band put online (most are seriously hilarious)
But here's my question, does anybody have their Mini-Album 爆裂トリコさん and would like to share it?
Wanted to buy it myself, as I'd be willing to pay the 1300 Yen for 5 songs, but the only retailer online doesn't ship to my country and it's not on itunes.

Somewhat related to tricot, as in this is an all-girl Rock Band aswell, here's a song by The Clap.

i got addicted to Versailles and ONE OK ROCK  for a while last year. currently listening to versailles's masquerade, which isnt their best work. Aristocrats symphony and love from a dead orchestra is prolly my fav from versailles. one ok rock went a bit down after the exit of their guitarist, and i still try to play koinoaiboukokoronokupido when i fool around a friend's guitar.
