期待の横山由依を大抜てき！ＡＫＢ新ユニット「Ｎｏｔ ｙｅｔ」誕生
人気アイドルグループ、ＡＫＢ４８から新たな派生ユニットが誕生する。２１日に東京・ＳＨＩＢＵＹＡ－ＡＸで行われた公演「リクエストアワー セットリストベスト１００」２日目で４人組ユニット「Ｎｏｔ ｙｅｔ」（ノットイエット）の誕生が発表された。
メンバーは「第２回選抜総選挙」で１位を獲得した大島優子（２２）、同１６位の北原里英（１９）、同１９位の指原莉乃（１８）、昨年１０月に研究生から正規メンバーに昇格したばかりの横山由依（１８）で構成。多忙を極めた昨年末に密かにレコーディングを終らせており、３月１６日にシングル「週末Ｎｏｔ ｙｅｔ」（日本コロムビア）でＣＤデビューする。
この日は会場を埋めたファン１０００人の前でデビュー曲をお披露目。「楽しい週末を思い浮かべて大変な平日でも頑張って乗り切っていこう」という前向きな歌詞に乗せたダンサブルなナンバーを熱唱した。
総合プロデューサーの秋元康氏（５４）は４人組にした経緯について「３人ユニットは、すでにノースリーブス、フレンチキスがデビューしたので、急きょＡＫＢ４８期待のエース、横山由依を加入させることにしました」と説明。「歌もダンスもまだまだだけど、その分、成長できるんだと解釈して、一生懸命に頑張る実物大の４人をコンセプトに、“Ｎｏｔ ｙｅｔ”と名付けました」とコメントした。
大島は「本当にまだまだこれからな未熟者の私たちですが、未熟者の私たちなりに皆さんを元気づけられる曲をお届けできたらなと思いますので、温かく見守ってください」と抱負を口にした。
昇格から３カ月での大抜てきとなった横山は「皆さんにカラオケで踊っていただけるような、そういう素敵な曲をお届けして、元気になっていただくことができたらなと思っています」と話した。

New unit from AKB48 “Not yet” to debut
Popular idol group, AKB48 has announced that a new unit “Not yet” has been formed, and they will release a debut single “Shumatsu Not yet” on March 16th. The members of the new unit are Ohshima Yuko, Kitahara Rie, Sashihara Rino, and Yokoyama Yui.
The announcement for the formation of the new unit and their debut was made at “AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 100 2011” held on January 21st, and they performed their debut song in front of the fans. ”Shumatsu Not yet” was written by Akimoto Yasushi, composed by Abe Jun, and arranged by Suzuki Daisuke from GIRL NEXT DOOR. The song is about lovers who can’t wait for the weekend.
Total producer, Akimoto Yasushi confessed that he named the unit under the concept of, “Both their dancing and singing skills are not that good yet, in other words they still have potential to develop.”
We will report more details about them when it’s out.

Not yet appears on HEY!HEY!HEY! and Oshima Yuko gets a handful of the Kano Sisters
AKB48’s four member sub-unit, Not yet, appeared on this week’s episode of “HEY!HEY!HEY! Music Champ“, where member Oshima Yuko revealed her admiration of the Kano sisters, who are celebrities known for their glamorous bodies.
In addition to performing their single “Shuumatsu Not yet“, the girls participated in the “Video Champ” segment, where guests can request funny or interesting video clips to be shown. While the other three members requested existing videos, Oshima was given the chance to make her own video in advance.
Asked by the staff what kind of video she wanted to make, Oshima replied, “You know how the Kano Sisters were on a lot of TV shows at one point? I was so shocked! I respect them. Their bodies are extremely ideal! I want to meet them…“ Apparently, her dream was to “engage in skinship with the Kano Sisters.”
The show granted her wish and set up a meeting in which Oshima ends up touching and sticking her face in the breasts of one of the Kano Sisters, commenting that they are warm and soft. After the video is shown, Oshima happily reported that she is now friends with the Kano Sisters. Fellow member Sashihara Rino joked, “I’ve never seen Yuko-chan this happy before.”

Not yet to release live DVD/Blu-ray

It's been revealed that AKB48 sub-unit Not yet will release a live DVD/Blu-ray titled "Not yet 'already' 2014.5.10 1st LIVE" on October 15.
The DVD/Blu-ray will feature the live concert that Not yet held to commemorate the release of their first album "already". Over 10,000 fans gathered at Ariake Coliseum in May to celebrate its release. It will include all songs performed during the live, as well as the MC segments. Additionally, it will come with a making footage and a performance of "Shuumatsu Not yet" from 'AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 100 2011' when the group was first formed.
