Does anyone here have a clue when the "Bomb DVD #5" will come out??

#3 went on sale March 2006
#4 went on sale August 2006

Was hoping #5 would be out this March, but the March issue doesn't come with a DVD, nor does the April one.
How fuckin' long does a guy have to wait?!?!

(of course, the longer I have to wait, the longer you bastards have to wait too)

The BOMB cover girl for March is Risa Kudo... looking mighty hot if I might add. I'm really tempted to buy a copy now...

BY the way Guchi, forgive me for asking but if you have the pics for Masami Nagasawa  (from the Bomb TV CD1 above) it would be nice if you can share that one.

Had a look at the CD, then had to come back to this thread just to make sure I was looking at the right girl.

Thanks so much Guchi!! I always knew you could help.

I'm surprised that you're confused (I thought you knew like every showbiz gal in Japan), because Masami is one of the most popular actresses there now ... I'm sure you must have seen her CMs on TV (Lotte Ghana, Epson Colorio, NTT Flets just to name a few) and her face on posters somewhere, even if you don't watch her movies/doramas/TV appearances.

Or perhaps, you only specialise in gravure? XD

Here are the sample pics from Rina's

A whole assload of cookies to anyone who can get me this set and the Hiroko one if there is one.

Ah the people at Bomb are just too lazy to bother to make a nice gravure DVD every month like Sabra I guess lol. Still, all the top girls are always inside so it's always a good catch. If you wanna get this back issue badly, perhaps you can try buying from yahoo auctions? Whenever i want a back issue, I always look there first.

ERIKA TODA! Boy she's getting on more and more magazine covers these days... can't escape her. My lucky bastard friend is going to get to shake her hand and talk to her at her DVD launch event later this month  >:(

Personally, I don't like Sabra so much though, the only saving grace is the DVD (which is not always "good" either).  Too much boring contents, I feel. For me BLT is more interesting, and i love their Miracle Girls mook series.

The Bomb DVDs have better quality (video quality) than the sabras, but sabra releases DVDs twice a month and not twice a year like bomb does.  (actually, the video quality in the sabras has increased lately, and most are the standard 8,000~9,000 bitrate)
As for the back issues, I can just order them from local shops...One of the perks of living here and having a Japanese postal address, but I honestly don't know if I'll bother with the Bomb DVDs anymore. Collecting one gravure mag is enough for me (still one too many according to my wife sometimes)

I like the "Latest Electronics" section the sabras have. Looked through BLT before, and didn't like it..Too much H!P/AKB48 type stuff, which I have no interest in at all. I found them to be almost as bad as the "up to boy" mags.

Even if it's only twice a year but at least you know that it's always something good, I guess, unlike Sabra (some of the amateur or "fresh" girls featured are just hideous-looking, and that's putting it kindly...).  It's nice being able to order back issues easily, i think I will have an avalanche of magazines in my room if I could do that too (although I am already running out of space to put them now!). On my trip to Tokyo I found that Jinbocho is really the No.1 place to look for magazine back issues, there were so many second-hand shops along one of the streets.  Although I couldn't find the magazine that I was looking for (a Hip and Lip with Meguru Ishii on the cover) but I ended up buying back issues of quite a few others.

Ah I'm not a tech whiz so not too much interest in those. For BLT I usually skip the HP stuff as well but i do have a little interest in AKB48 (although not to otaku level), but I haven't ever bought any UTB at all (they could almost just call it H!P magazine).

My main interest in BLT is they always feature interviews and photo shoots with the leading celebrity actresses like Masami Nagasawa, Saki Aibu and Aya Ueto (although it's Leah Dizon this month...) and they have gravure idols like Yuzuki and Meguru at the back too, which I thought was a great combination not found in most other magazines which normally focus on one or the other. And I find the monthly celeb profile section useful to since they always keep it updated with their latest shows and releases.

I think Bomb would be better if the magazine size was bigger. Gravure shots doesn't good as good if it's pocket sized, damnit!

People often complain about the quality of the "New Faces", and yet after a couple of months when some are popular, the same people do a complete about-face.
Here's a few new faces sabra has had in the past..
Yukiko Goto, Hitomi Kaikawa, Akina Minami, Natsuki Yoshihara, Aya Kiguchi, Yuko Fukudome, Ai, Yoshiko Suenaga, Sasa Handa, Yuri Morishita, and Hatsune Matsushima.

The one in the latest issue isn't too shabby either.

well..... don't mistake me, I didn't say that all the new faces are ugly all the time. There are of course good ones (some "In My Rooms" RQs are outstanding) but at least half the time I would say that they don't quite appeal to me. Those that you mentioned above are definitely the better ones (hence making it "big")... not likely to be the ones I'm refering to (although I can't say for sure since they must have appeared long long ago in the new face section) -- although I really don't like Aya Kiguchi even now.

And hmmm sorry to disagree with you but this Yu Iwata girl is most definitely not my type either (judging from the looks of this picture at least) and I really cannot imagine doing an about-turn on her anytime in the future.

yeah, the fresh faces are a bit hit and miss but the less attractive ones can always be skipped over so i don't really mind
