i thought the same when i saw the picture, but hey, they appear again after the picture to stay with the others members and to guide them, they still need their "senpai", so i believe in no graduation for a while

I think that's part of the idea, really. They wanted to focus the A-side on 2-5th gens and have this b-side just be a huge showcase of 1st, and I think its an awesome idea, since they're obviously not going to be there forever.

Yes, and for this I'm thankful to the management

Its like they want the a-side to feature the other generations without the 1st gen members, maybe just to see how audiences feel about seeing only the younger gens featured, and maybe just to start introducing the idea of "1st gen graduating" much earlier than when they actually plan to graduate them, just so its not so much of a shock for us fans.

true, if this is their idea for a soft landing then I guess its looking clear to us. It does make me wonder though, could that be the reason we're not getting any new album last year as well.

If they do graduate them, maybe they'll make the 1st gen members into their own sub-group

or maybe they'll re-unite all of 1st gen Idoling!!! into their own group to rival the 2nd-5th gen Idoling!!!

I can see it now: Shin Idoling!!! vs Idoling!!!

^^ If Fuji TV wants to create sub-unit 3-6-9, likely they won't use "idol" pattern anymore. Beside of their age (already an adult), they have a lot of potential as a singer/group. In the end, i predict that 3-6-9 trio will be prepared not to become an idol anymore (just like Idoling!!! show), but to become actress/singer.
