Peach is such a nice little song. Worth mentioning that IU composed and even played the recorder/triangle bits in it herself. Right before I noticed it was already released, I was about to post how I'd love if the song was a stripped acoustic thing, and it ended up being pretty much that. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the recorder(flute thingy) bit, nor the super sappy lyrics, but the song is cute (and not obnoxiously so) and her voice is sooo nice. Gotta say I love whenever she goes into the low whispery register. Purr.
Anyway, Peach was just a preview of her upcoming 3-song single "Spring of a 20-year old" (She's about to turn 20 in the Korean age system, might add) which will be released on May 11th. IU is not doing any conventional broadcast promotions for the single because she's concentrating on her national 6-city tour (which sold out in about 30 minutes) in Korea. Despite that, Peach got an instant #1 on every Korean music chart.
LOEN entertainment is releasing these little teaser clips for the single. The teasers are not for a normal MV, but for a sort of a short movie-style thing they're releasing. Not really sure what it's going to be like, at first I thought it'd be something like the stuff T-ara is releasing but the "documentary" label they've put on it sounds like something else. Maybe they'll show stuff such as IU composing stuff and whatever we've already seen, along with the song in there somewhere. Or maybe it's a completely separate thing from the song.
They've also pimped out the
LOEN ent Youtube page with IU pics. :3
Right, forgot to post this epic pic here. IU commands you to get your booze on!?
...nah, just trollin' with some tea.
