Yes, she looks good behind the wheel, maybe they should do a remake of the Engine drama with her as the racer.

That event was actually for a Hollywood movie and she was one of the dubbers for the Japanese release.

Takei Emi to star in new Sokenbicha commercial

Actress Takei Emi, who has already been serving as the image character for Coca Cola’s ‘Sokenbicha‘, has revealed that she will be starring in a new commercial for ‘Sokenbicha Hot‘. The commercial will air nationwide on October 29th.

In the cold winter months, Takei will warm herself up by drinking a bottle of ‘Sokenbicha Hot’ while singing a tune. From the tea we’ll see heart shaped steam come out as she shares snacks with a friend. As she enjoys her tea we’ll see heart shaped steam come out of her mouth as she sighs with relief. This commercial will warm your body and your heart at the same time.

Although the shooting for this commercial took place in September, Takei sports winter fashion by wearing a beanie, scarf, coat and long boots. Despite shooting in the hot weather wearing warm clothes, Takei acted professional and completed the shoot in style. The finished product is a commercial where fans can see Takei’s beautiful and warm smile.

Takei Emi to make her singing debut

It’s been revealed that actress Takei Emi will be making her singing debut with the single, “Koi Suru Kimochi“, on December 14th!

Written by GLAY’s TAKURO, “Koi Suru Kimochi” is described as a ballad number that is perfect for the winter season. Because Takei has always been a fan of GLAY, TAKURO was asked to provide the song by the recording company.

TAKURO commented, “Takei-san is already active in expressing various genres. I feel very honored to be involved with her music career, as her new form of expression. ”

Hereafter, Takei plans be active as an actress and a singer. Regarding her singing debut, she expressed, “From now on, I want to challenge myself to all sorts of music, and deliver them as songs. Please cheer me on.”

Takei Emi becomes a bride for “Sekisui Heim”

Actress Takei Emi was appointed as the new CM character for house maker ‘Sekisui Heim‘, and revealed her CM at a PR event in Tokyo.

In the CM, Takei plays a bride, and so she appeared in a beautiful wedding dress at the event that left reporters in awe.

Since the CM revolved around a wedding, Takei was asked about what her ideal spouse was like. “A warm and smart person would be nice. I myself would like to become a person as warm as a hot-water bottle,” she said.

Reporters brought up the old superstition on how it’s a bad omen if you wear a wedding dress for work before wearing it for real, and cited the fact on how some of her acting colleagues were behind the marriageable age. The 17-year-old actress preferred to stay optimistic and said, “I definitely want to try and disprove this myth. I want to get married when the time is right.”

The Universal Music Japan teaser is just that ......cue music, camera shot of director giving Emi some instructions, Emi listens intently, Emi gets her game face on, Emi stands ready to sing, and.................CUT!!

so we still wonder what kind of singing voice Emi has (based on her speaking voice, we think soprano, but let's find out soon!)
