Talk about all your fav Utawara moments, post caps, talk about who you think should do some songs on it, yadda yadda... its an Utawara thread, you get it

anyway, i was kinda disappointed with the last utawara... they only performed like 4 songs, plus KAT-TUN's medley (which was pretty cool, though)

ayaya was lookin smokin as always though, and her version of "I Believe" was fricken awesome!

utawara is one of my favorite shows currently. its good shit.

this week's was pretty good. more guests than usual so that's probably why they cut some of the performances. though im kindof glad they didn't do konayuki again >_>
that song has been performed too many times by almost everyone. i would've liked to see someone perform the w-inds. song though

ayaya did an amazing job singing i believe. kingkong was funny.

Seeing as how I was doing them before anyway, I'll try to take care of the screencaps for the eps.

This week, they didn't really get to most of the performances until about halfway through the show. Aya totally kicked ass singing I Believe, and with that girl Yumi playing the flute...golden.

KAT-TUN has been getting a lot of perf time lately in anticipation of their upcoming release. I liked how they did their medley this week, with the whole different locations in the building for each member. The way that they'd bow WHILE they were singing to random people they'd see in the halls was hilarious.

Oh, and the way the dude with the pimp outfit got shafted at the end...:damnfunny.

Haven't seen this week's yet. Will put in my comments after I do. Good stuff though, Utawara. Originally I just watched it for Ayaya, but I've gotten to like seeing the performances. Always nice to see covers once in a while.

I liked MinnTere better since it was broadcasted live and all.

Utawara makes it up by inviting awesome comedians, though.

Oh yeah, and I feel really bad watching HINOI TEAM perform. >_>

This one was alright. It had King Kong! Woot. But I would've liked more perfs, because of the whole I-don't-understand-Japanese thing. And yes, Ayaya was teh awesome.

not many performances this week (only 3), mostly because of KAT-TUN

there were long segments involving them, and of course their performance of Real Face.
the countdown was rushed, they just grouped them together. 10-7, 6-4, etc.
hopefully after KAT-TUN's debut thing, everything will get back on track with the countdown.

Rag Fair was there to perform Remioromen's Taiyou no Shita though. Rag Fair owns

As boykun said, this week's ep focused a lot on KAT-TUN's debut, thus reducing the number of guest perfs they had. As a result, didn't have much in terms of screencap material.

It was funny when they showed the early footage of the KAT-TUN members. Rag Fair definitely pwned, and I was impressed by the EXPG Kids (dancers) during the cover of EXILE's YES!

this week was kinda brokeback. that neko hiroshi fewl needs to die! but the kids during th EXILE perf were awesome, as well as rag fair!

KAT-TUN's song isnt that fantastic... the chorus is nice though.

I'm actually wondering if BigRon's comp blew up or something. He hasn't been posting much over at JPM over the past couple of weeks (during which he didn't upload the Utawara eps). You'd think that if they had taken a couple of weeks off, they'd have annouced it or something, like how they announced it when Minna no Terebi was changed to become Utawara Hot Hit 10.

UTAWARA IS BACK BITCHES!!! :yay: New set, smaller "cast" of guests, and a new bunch of dumb looking graphics. Seems to be less focus on the karaoke part of the show, and more on being like a "talk show". Oh and KAT-TUN has some new bit in the show (don't really get the concept behind it, and to be honest, some parts of it seemed really brokeback; but Aya seemed to think it was cute

). Important thing is...Aya's still there and she's still smokin'!

This Week's Special Guest: 2006 World Figure Skating Championship Silver Medalist - Suguri Fumie. Apparently she likes EXILE and KAT-TUN. Makes no mention about Arashi...sorry MatsuJun.

Only 3 perfs? WTF!?!?!

The rest of the "countdown" was just done with those yellow cgi screens, which I say is hella lame. There actually were short clips of perfs by the artists featured, but it looks like they may have all been pre-taped and then they just used, like, a 5 sec clip from each for the show. Again, I say that's lame. The previous Utawara format was much more entertaining IMO compared to this new one they rolled out.

KAT-TUN did their perf from some building/area under construction. I didn't bother to make caps of it.
