Since a few of us have gotten cards and I know more people are going to get some, I thought I start up this thread so we can start trading as well to show off our collection so far. Here's a good site to see for a complete guide. (http://zanza-snsd.livejournal.com/4180.html)
My goal is to get at least a complete set of each series; I haven't decided whether to go for complete sets of the regular version and the foil name version. We'll see how it goes.

Waiting for my two sets to arrive, hopefully on monday. Its scaring the shit out of me cause I know I'll be trying to complete the collection and end up buying many more sets.

On the bingo cards instruction side there is a little pic in the top corner. You have to collect all those little pics that match with the front of the bingo card (the side with all the pics). You win a prize for getting 1 line filled, 2 lines, 3 lines, 4 lines, 5 lines & obviously prizes are better as you get more lines filled.
Maaan you people with so many sets are totally made of money :P
Good luck with the autograph cards dai they are SUPER rare, like 3-4 printed for each member!
I'm not gonna bother trying to collect all holo & checkered cards, I don't foresee it being possible for me. Not sure I'll go for all foil/normals either. Probably just complete what I can whether is be random or foil & have two of each for set 10.
Trading will be whack! What do you trade for what? Seeing foils aren't THAT rare would they trade 1Foil for 1 Normal, or 1 Foil for 2 Normals or what~? SO confusing XD

I don't think there's any set rules of how trading goes. It's just whatever you think it is worth to you, whether it will complete your set or not, etc. I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of Sunnys around. lol
I think I'll wait for some other peeps to put up what they got and go from there. Is currently making a list. lol I'm trying really hard not to buy another set. XD Probably wait until dinny gets hers as she's the closest to me before trading.

I just ordered some packs from ebay, way cheaper than hmv.co.jp, lol, like £50 cheaper. Not many holo or checkered holo, but a few foil. I'll list them at a later time.
[EDIT] Also need to find a place to get some of those card binders to keep the cards in.

Alright, my cards came in today. I opened everything but since I don't have a binder yet, I put everything back into the packs to keep their condition.
I'm pretty happy about this batch. I managed to get 7 of 9 Series 008 (Army) holos and a Series 003 (Sports) etched Jessica. Some 007 Doll holos and a crap load of foils. Got a couple group cards, tripple of one of the Genie ones. I need to double check some of the cards because I went through them pretty quickly at first. But those 7 Army holos...:heart: (Missing Yoong and Sunny) I'll post pictures when I get my binder.

Think I might go for all the holos (or checks) for the Series 007, they are calling me XD Took me forever to realise the black spots on the group cards are heat patches XD Only realised coz of the heat generated when I was sliding them in and out of the sleeves :lol:

Actually I feel it's more straight forward than the last season! The reason is because they took out the card "variations" so it easier to keep track of.

I ordered before SoshiGoods gave the sets option, so I ordered 55 packs (60 packs is 4 sets). I asked him to push it up to 75 but he had shipped it out before he got to my request lol. I'm considering on selling my base set...the world cup set for as much as I got them for originally just to make my money back. That would be $2.50 (plus shipping) for any 5 cards. Sounds fair? Otherwise straight trades lol. I still have TONS of Season 1 dups, just never updated my "stock" after I ordered my second batch.

Looking at the guide, this season is partly easier and partly harder to collect. If I don't go for the checked ones (not even including the piece, autograph & micro ones lol) then its not that many, but exactly, its not many, so I feel inclined to try and collect the checkered ones too!

I think for one line you get one pack (5 cards), for a full Bingo you get a Game Boy DSi, then there's also a shirt or sth you might get (that's what I can remember reading somewhere.
The autographs are written in red because the creator of the list wasn't sure whether that's the correct line-up.

For season two full bingo you can win a full set of cards including all autograph (RDR & Oh) and Piece cards or a guitar signed by all the members. For a 5 line bingo you can win the exact red goal shirts the girls wore in the World Cup cars signed by the member who wore it (one shirt per winner). Tiffany's was already won T_T

This is going to hurt my wallet.
Looking closely at the pictures tama posted, I see it's advertised as season 2.5. I see 'old' season 2 cards and new cards with both having gg2.5 printed on them. I'm afraid I'll now have to collect all the 're-numbered' season 2 cards too. Sometimes it sucks to be a completist. (but only sometimes)
I like what I see of the new series, numbered 5, 6, 7 and 1 (autographed I assume) in the pictures. Enough reason to start collecting.
I don't know how much 15 pack sets I will be ordering this time. Considering the staggering amount of duplicate regular cards I have from season 1 and 2, I'm inclined to make more targeted purchases from select eBay sellers. I think that will be more cost effective. Some packs will be ordered anyway, for the slim chance of an autographed card, and to have some trading stock. 8)

Well, first off, the base cards are so much better than the world cup. lol Everyone looks so cute. The new rare cards (printed auto and matte cards) are pretty cool. The matte cards still have shine to it because only the background is matte. As for the other cards that are the same in season 2, only RDR is exactly the same. For the others, the hologram changed from checkered to just regular holo; much like how the holograms differed in season 1. The Gee series cards have a matte background. I took a picture to show the difference between season 2 and 2.5. See it further down the post.
Did I mention the base cards are really pretty? lol Too bad they only have 4 sets of those. It would have been nice to have a 5th set. Less duplicates. XD
So for trading purposes, I'm willing to trade between season 2 and season 2.5, especially the RDR ones. I hope to have at least one of each member of each type no matter if it is season 2 or 2.5.

Recently my first order of cards has arrived. I ordered 45 packs and I got many duplicates of the regular cards and some of the rare cards. But 45 packs means only 45 rare cards out of a possible 108 (not counting autographs). So that's why put in a second order. Once that gets here I'll make a list for trading.

I totally knew they had trading cards (from the WGM when Seo wanted Yong to buy them, but none of Seo's cards were in the sets that he bought =() but I never new that they were so popular! The SNSD Star Cards are no longer produced and (web)retailers don't have them in stock anymore. Your best bet is to look on eBay if you can find a seller who still has them.

Here are some things I do when I buy something from a seller the first time.
You should always read the feedback of the seller, especially the negative feedback. Also, carefully read the payment and shipping information. If anything is unclear, ask the seller a question. Good sellers should be able to respond promptly.
You should also check if maybe other sellers have a similar er better deal. A quick search for "SNSD star card" returned 634 results, take the time to look through them.
There is no guarantee that no problems will occur, but this should help avoid "bad" sellers.

One of the simplest things you can do is ask for pictures. Everyone owns a phone with a cam nowadays. He should be able to take a picture of the cards and add something distinctive like note with your (nick)name on it. You do the same of course.
Some eBay sellers send a picture of the package with your name and address clearly readable on it.
When trading you'll have to build up trust by sharing information, but there will always be some risk.
