All AKB48 Stages CD releases on January 1st 2013

Titled "Studio Recordings Collection", all stages from Teams A, K, B, 4, and Himawari-gumi will be be released. A total of 20 stages and 311 songs...

Not sure where that guy came up with "No team 4 recording stage, so only 19 stages available"...

The title of the blog post they quote says "2013年元旦、studio recordings コレクション全20タイトル発売" which states all 20 stages to be released. And then further down in the list it states:

■Team4
・1st stage「僕の太陽」公演

Which if I'm not mistaken, is Team 4's first stage, "Boku no Taiyou"

The image YKT posted also shows Team 4's stage listed with "now printing" instead of a cover, and following her links you can see it is already up for order at CDJapan and Tower Records.

I'd whine about this being an evil money making scheme again, but I'm too happy we are finally getting proper recordings of B3, A4 and K4. The karaoke versions for ALL songs is super epic too. I wonder if they use the original line-ups though.......

From the CDJapan description, it appears that these will be remixed and remastered!

Also, the sample pics above are actually images of the external bonus of a random clear file

If these are remastered editions of the original recordings, this will be epic as fuck and I'll definitely be buying some of them. If they're re-recorded versions, still pretty cool and I'll still probably buy some. The "remastered" description gives me hope, though. Why would you remaster a new recording?

Those covers are pretty odd but they're a huge step above the old stage CD covers that were nothing more than a logo. But yeah, very exciting news. The Himawari stages and B3 are still my favorite stages ever. Having true studio recordings of them at long last will be awesooooome~

This is GREAT news. Even though I painstakingly edited all the stage songs without recordings to drown the crowd out, it would never sound perfectly good. Now with this release, we get the proper recordings and NEW COVERS!

Well, the previously released stages specifically mention the date of the old release, which makes me think they're just remastered versions.

Just had a thought - I wonder which versions they'll use. I mean, take Team B Oshi - there's 3 versions of that (with Nacchan and Maachan, with Shihorin and Nacchan, with Shihorin and Milky) - which will they end up using?

From what I see, they are using the earliest original recording. For instance, let's look at Team B 3rd's cast here.

Among the cast members are Inoue Naru and Kikuchi Ayaka. Naru left AKB48 during this stage, and Ayarin was fired a few months prior to that even. No Sasshi credit, either. This is definitely the earliest version recorded.

Also, for B5, Milky is not listed while Oku Manami is, which supports this theory further.

I'm so thrilled these are genuine original recordings. This is REALLY exciting.

^ yeah, and they are including the zenza girls songs this time too, in the original 9th gen versions, not the ones used in 1830m. Good stuff

In sadder news, the Team 4 CD was delayed until the 22nd Jan...

Wow, this is a bit overwhelming (on the wallet too). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best stages are for each team? I'd like to get one each from Teams A, K, and B, but don't know where to start. Thanks.

^B3 is widely considered to be one of the best ones.

You can't really go wrong with any A, but A4 has been the longest running stage iirc and has a lot of fan favorites.
Can't really go wrong with any K either

I'd probably go for K3 or K6.

Defo stage 3 from team B!! Team A... I guess stage 4.. And Team K... God, they all are amazing, but as for me it is probably K3, K4 or K6
