I guess the downside of being an idol at a young age is to give up on academics. ;___; But I think Rika turned out fine. I remember watching the Utaban episode where Nakai and Taka asked them where t.A.T.u. came from and I just laughed at how some of the girls didn't even know their countries.
That really shocked me when I first watched it
Reina didn't know where Japan was on the map?! OK, so maybe the younger ones could be somewhat forgiven since they were pulled out of school quite early on... but someone like Miki should at LEAST know how to hold a map the right way up!!!!
Rika definitely turned out fine. She's no Konno, but her smarts shouldn't be discredited at all. She seems like the type who'd study (unlike Yossie, who really hates studying xD lol @ her in the Mechaike Bakajo Kimatsu test). Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari is something I'd like to refer to, because those lyrics were by Tsunku who composed them according to how he saw the girls behind the scenes (if I remember correctly)::::
She doesn't think so herself, but she's definitely an honor student ... Rika sometimes brings herself across as a bit klutzy and stupid (I think I remember seeing in a particular DVD Magazine moment), but she most definitely has a lot to offer academically.
Other girls get jealous of a girl as seriously cute as she is ---- I really thank Tsunku for slipping this in. Of all the girls, only Rika was portrayed in this light. And that is why we see her getting picked on so much. It's jealousy.
@Rika being scary:
This actually wasn't shocking to me; Rika works HARD. She gives everything 110%, from what I can tell being a fan. my guess is that if people don't take things as seriously as she does, she could get pissed at them.
Well said, and I totally agree
Her work ethics are straight up there. She probably does so much away from the camera that we'll never know about or be able to appreciate.
Rika met up with Ayaka! She says it's hard to meet up with her because of their schedules.
And I'm going to assume the cake is one really belated birthday cake.
I love Ayaka... without her, I would never have dabbled with H!P
That picture is the cutest thing I've seen in a while. It would have been nice to see Yossie's face too, but hey, Ayaka needs some alone time with Rika to catch up on things too, I'm sure. ^____^

Rika's manager really reminds me of some Korean person... I'm stuck there, but yeah... she needs to flash some white teeth, she's more Angry than Angry herself there in the photo

Rika's got kids!
Oh no, wait... they're her cousin's kids.
ADORABLE!
I love kids... this picture melts me.
(Rika's already a grandma anyway
Teddy bear's legs are speakers, so you can listen to music through the bear.
Ayaka also gave Rika a necklace and decorations for it. Rika wrote out her name and put the necklace on the bear, so that it's one of its kind in the world. How cute.
That's an awesome gift. Listening to music though a bear bearing your own name?
Ayaka scoring multiple points right there! Wooooooo.
Rika's blog is pretty awesome as it is... but I'd love for her to provide more detail (the way Sayu does it!). Especially when she's working with Yossie! OMG!
