Title: [Dorama] Q10 (starring Maeda Atsuko)

Acchan will star in the upcoming love-comedy drama "Q10"! Acchan's character is named 'Q10' which apparently is pronounced as 'Cute'  :lol:

Also starring Sato Takeru, who will play a boy named Fukui Heita.

Airtime: Starting October, on Saturdays at 9 P.M.

I was watching Shabekuri with Accchan and Sato Takeru... and then it hit me. That Takeru guy is the one from the lotte fit's commercials  :lol:

Yeah. He's been in stuff like ROOKIES, Bloody Monday, Mei-chan no Shitsuji and Kamen Rider Den-O too.
And he was also in Ryoma Den. So They actually acted in the same drama before, just never together.

Watched the first episode on YouTube. I'm not into subless doramas all that much, but for the most part I was even less into this one. Not enough Acchan for me. It had its cute moments and is sort of interesting, but for the most part it's a "typical" idol drama. Unlike most in that category though, this show doesn't try to be constantly humorous which is kinda refreshing. It's nice to see the show take itself as seriously as its premise allows. :lol: If they keep getting YouTube'd, I'll watch, but my interest doesn't go much further than that.

Haha. It might be a little boring even when compared in the cyborg category like Zettai Kareshi (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Zettai_Kareshi) or Sakura 2 Go (http://www.asahi.co.jp/sakura/). :D
I kinda hoped it focused more on the pair. But I think they'll follow the same high-school drama formula of resolving one student's problem each ep. :yawn:

Acchan is still the main reason to watch it (ball..ball..) :oops: But I'm also interested in seeing Fukuda Mayuko's character (mystery girl) show up, since I haven't seen her in a drama for some time.

I don't know yet how I feel about this dorama. I did kinda like the first ep, even though there were some bland parts.

I started watching it more for Takeru than for Acchan, but she's simply amazing and Kyuuto! So cute~ I only saw 2 eps so far, but I'm liking the show. It's fun. Nothing special but fun.

Finished it up with a non-stop 6 episode watch. pafu~ :lol:

Even though it's a teen drama, I found it pretty deep and interesting.
Though "connections between people" and ":heart: the world" seem to be the basic theme, I'll probably need a little more time to soak up and appreciate all the messages each character's mini-story were trying to send.

After leaving this series when it first aired due to a lack of the subs I decided to give it another chance.

Where to start...

The best thing about this series is the cast. I could relate to a lot of people, because they played their part really well. I really dig that 'mystery' girl.

Some nice deep themes mixed with some humor. This dorama didn't make me thing about the world/life etc as some other doramas did though.

The highlight of the series was around episode 5 for me, but then it had some strange turns in the plot and the tone got a bit depressing.

Takeru and Acchan were just great. Props to them. Doesn't this just make you melt:
