I find it really dubious that Sae beats out everyone from Idoling (Sayaka Kato, Rumi and Suzuka) AND Shinozaki Ai.

I mean, Sae's awesome and all..but we might be in Bizzaro world D:

^ Perhaps handshake events and such helped. But yeah, it is a little strange for a debut IV to beat out all of these gravure veterans.

but it's a LONG AWAITED debut. Sae is popular on a bigger sense than the gravure only girls. She gets love from several different groups of fans.

Among those groups being the super dedicated wotaku who will buy multiple copies of stuff in order to see their oshimen do well. The same can be said of any of the other idols, but AKB48 is crafted specifically for these... 'eccentric' people. :nervous Sales isn't a very good way to measure "success" in the sense of influence or popularity. There is a lot of super-fan "interference" in those numbers.

Whatever the case, Sae had great sales and in the end that's more important than why. :thumbup

Seeing Sae at #1 confused me as well since even though it was uploaded, it was barely mentioned by anyone around the AKB48 spots I visit :? But I guess you can't argue with numbers.

^ Confusing you and me both. Though I have a feeling those numbers might have been lower if there was also an accompanying PB released as well.

Nachinon in M-1 from a few years back. From what I gather, it wasn't that great of a performance compared to some other Manzai duos, but I found it funny anyway.

I really like Noro!

Good thing Acchan is so perfect they'll think that was part of the chereography.

Karaoke clip was great, +100000000000 for Shokotan singing Zankoku na Tenshi no Teze.

Karaoke clip was great
More proof that they should sing live! -_-"

Though the CDTV performance seems like it was a live performance anyways; at least the vocals for Iiwake Maybe sounded live to me.

Edit:
Omg look at all the peopless...XD

Not really AKB, but it has Rina, so it's relevant. :3
