I though I was done playing fighting games competitively, but playing against good people last weekend makes me wan to play. I guess it's true that no one ever really leaves.(Unless they can't take the heat:P)

my antispyware program thinks my psp downgrader is a trojan called pspbrick or some ish. and i haven't actually played fighting games in about 5 days or so.. not that 5 days is a long time <_<

Sirlin.net is the webpage of game designer David Sirlin. He is also a very well known player in the US Street Fighter community. His site has very good articles about game design and playing to win in video games. Reading these articles helped me a lot once I started playing competitively. A very cool thing I just noticed there today are some tutorial videos for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I haven't watched them yet though.

They should have another one to make game upgrades like for fighting games. Take the title then add on all kinds of flashy words like "Super", "Reload," "X," "Zero," "Turbo," "Hyper," "Dash," and many others I forgot.

*sigh* Koreans really gaming gods. I heard that one of their top Tekken players went here a few weeks back and played with some of our top local players. Our players are good but in the match vids, the Korean player decimated them :ONdepressed:

I read in a news article before that their tournaments for video games get a lot of attention and a lot of fans. They are even held in stadiums to accomodate the fans. Gamers there are celebs :ONbigdeal:

They have whole channels dedicated to games.

I have a video of tossgirl (google that) playing starcraft. She had quite high APM, and she used an SCV to block off an early zergling rush. That was great, lol.

On a slightly unrelated note, I'm saving up for an mp3 player. Looking for one that functions like a removable drive, has expandable storage, and doesn't suck in the output department. Any brands..?
