I think he gives the songs far too much credit.
I may have to agree with this to some extent. The process he describes about the process of elimination for song ideas seems a bit strange, because 1. a lot of the songs are hugely similar 2. some song are borderline plagiarism. Anyway, there are definitely some truly epic songs in AKB48's catalog, so perhaps not all songs go through that extensive process.

The thing is, AKB48 has power by numbers. The ace can graduate and it won't be the end of it. However, I wonder if, and if so, when the breaking point is. Is there a point when certain key players have graduated that the general public will lose interest? (assuming the girls in the group are the only variable for argument's sake).
