Not much of a scary game, but I really used to be terrified of Dino Crisis 2. I'd have nightmares of it but the pause button wouldn't work  Playing it now for old times sake XD

But the first Dino Crisis was the scary one! It had the classic survival horror tropes of limited ammo and not enough of it to use on enemies that were hard to kill in an enclosed environment. In Dino Crisis 2 you were killing dinosaurs for sport

Played 15mins of Dead Space 2 before sleeping. :)

3 scary moments:

1. The early part where one of 'em drops you on the floor.
I couldn't see which button I had to press!!! did that scene 3 times! XD

2. The dark room with the dead scientists/doctors sitting in their seats, just after the tutorial with the navigation line.
I confess I disabled the scary factor by putting the sound low, but put it back up to listen to the girl on the comms.
Walking around the dark room with a flashlight, I was soooo ready to smack the first dead guy that would wake up and lunge at me.
Instead, they totally surprise me by suddenly turning on a tv screen and playing random loud music. ah, classic... :nervous

3. Really scary one. Wait for it.... the game actually played smoothly on my crappy PC.

Silent Hill Downpour comes full circle...

This short interview on Playstaion Blog about the upcoming Silent Hill: Downpour, gives me cautious hope, that the newest installment in the Silent Hill universe might bring the series back to old glory.
But I still refuse to get too enthusiastic about it...

That E3 trailer wasn't inspiring to me. It was a confusing mash up of scenes with Korn (ugh) music in the background. But still, it's a trailer, gotta keep the faith that the actual game will be good.

Damn! THis game looks really interesting! I hope it will be released outside of Japan too! :3
Btw, could it be that the publisher of this game are the one from the Fatal Frame series? Because the battle system and the sounds are A LOT the same.... XD
