She haunted my perfect life
Exceled in everything I could do
People circled around her
I wish she leaves school

Day after day
With her fixed smile, she attracts the boys
Her maturity edges over others
I wish she leaves school

Final day of school
The same crowd encompasses her
Not me
I wish she leaves school

Counting down the seconds
My body set to leave but she offers her book
Smiling
I wish she leaves school

Scanning the book
My eyes surprised
Empty pages, no one signed hers
I’m glad she stayed

The eight youngest
sitting on the two largest mats
Socializing below the pink blooms
Each with their dishes
Carefully picking their food
Matching each with another

From the orange light
Til the full moon
Their talks continue
While laughter fills the air
They enjoyed a simple meal
Below the pinkish blooms
Loving their youth
And blossoming of a new cycle

The explosion flowers
Leads an explosion of suds
Sitting back
Stretching out on the mat
With their cold beverages
The older folks talk
Life
Marriage
Babies?
Maybe a little early

The turtle shined despite her wintery fare
The kitty exploring her happiness byond the can
The bunny revealing her layers of her true self
The three burst with obnoxious tones
As the sunset turned into night
Their bodies ached more than usual
Age becoming their enemy
They cheer until they passed out
To their next morning,
Headaches
Stress
After-partying effects
No work tomorrow!!!!

Hinting the excitement
Older member watching new members
Feeling the pain of your own walking away
To fill with new members open up new hope
Crushing emotion to liking a new person
I hope she accepts my feelings

The distance between
Strung by a familiar friendship
Slowly creating beings
Spring bears their births
Swallowing their gifts
They stayed close
Through their struggles
And an eventual split
It couldn’t break them apart
Both hunger for stardom
In the end,
Growth may have subsided externally
But within they are still flowers blooming

Holding up an umbrella
With lightning striking across the sky
The winds picked up
Rain violently pelting them
No escape from its wrath
But a warm body is what she needed
The veil to protect her
Until the destination became clear

Her kind smile brightened the room
Without any use of electricity
Sitting in the dark
Damp from the rain
Two lie down
Staring at the window
Nature produced its music in perfect harmony
Crashing, booming, and crackling
The symphony crescendos
Before its ultimate silence

The sun peaks through with its eyes
Sleeping with their heads next to each other
Without speech
It was a storm that started their relationship

Walking through the crevasses of the house
A turtle watches with her one eye
An unsuspecting bunny
Cutely looking at her mirror
Saying pleasing words to herself
With flaws still stuck out like needles
A trap set for anyone coming her way
Appearing in the open
The turtle draws her out
Carefully watching the trap above
But no effect
The bunny meets her up close
Silly, airheaded turtle she thought
As she turned,
A string snares her and watches it from the air
Her thoughts turn into panic as she scoots away
Calling for help
Tears fall
Sniffling over her stupid mistake
She shuts her eyes to say a prayer
And lands on the soft leaves below
Looking around she thanks the sky for her safety
Only to notice a turtle with a broken glass piece next to her
For how much she praised the sky
It was a turtle to save her from exposure

Made me feel comfortable

The image came into mind

She shakes out of it
And into the restaurant
Without reservation
They sit and the order comes out bit by bit

Yossie takes out a box
Opening slightly to her girlfriend
Giddy by the excitement
She yells out to the room
To the embarrassment
It wasn’t an engagement ring
She slouches down
To the pleasure of the birthday girl
