Ahh... Vampires are fun to write...
They're immortal, and mystically stunning and beautiful.
Well, here's a vampire story. Hope you all enjoy. :lol: :lol:
Blood Curse

Prologue: Meeting you
The fog in the streets was getting heavier and heavier as a young man passed by. The street light flickered and dim. He pulled his warm coat tightly to prevent the harshness of the wind blowing through the empty streets. The atmosphere was dead silence. So quiet that made him Goosebumps.
He kept on walking down the quiet empty streets. His breath was seen with white smoke puffing from his trembling lips. His vision was blurry as the fog was thicker than before. He rubbed his eye, when he saw a girl standing not far away from him. He blinked, and the figure disappeared. The young man thought that it was only his illusion. Shaking his head, he carried on his journey but something made him stop.
He felt a pair of eyes was glaring hungrily at him.
He shrugged, pulled the coat even more closely to his body, kept on walking. He shook his head heavily, convincing himself that this was just an illusion of his own.
His blue crystal eyes met deep red orbs.
Lips trembling, he could feel that delicate fingers running on his back. He started to sweat, even thought the weather was cold. And now, he could feel breath beside his neck, making him shaking in fear even more.
“Farewell, my dinner.”
The only thing he could feel now was the prickling on his neck. Blood started flowing out like a water tap, making him unconscious. The girl was sucking his blood without any mercy. His vision became blurry, and he knew no more.
After taking the last drip of her prey, she threw the corpse into a big dustbin. She wiped off the blood on her mouth, feeling satisfy. She smirked, turned away and in a moment she vanished out of sight.
“Pathetic humans.”

A tall girl was lying on the street, gasping and calling for help. She was lying in a pool of blood. Feeling weak, she tried to get help but in vain. She was losing blood and it will drain her life if the blood was not stopped. There was no one on this cold night. She cried pitifully, knowing that she was going to be dead in few minutes. But she didn’t want to die, not on this cold, lonely night…
Footsteps. She heard faint footsteps coming towards her.
“Hmm? Such a waste that these juicy liquid scattered around the ground…” The squirrel-like-girl muttered softly with a gentle tone. She saw the girl, lying hopelessly on the ground. She lowered her body down to the tall girl, examining her. The tall girl tried to move her leaden limb but she can’t. The girl noticed, gripped her hand with no effort. In instant, deep red orbs met orange’s. The vampire felt something that she did not feel centuries ago. She turned away her gaze, but the feeling was still there. The hopeless girl squeezed her hand weakly, signaling the girl that her life was going to the end. The vampire smirked evilly. She leaned over the tall girl’s ear, muttering something that made her nodded.
“I could help you, but in return you must be my side, always.”
Feeling satisfy with the tall girl’s answer, her mouth was now on the girl’s neck. She nuzzled, wanting to play before biting. The squirrel ran her tongue over her neck, making the girl growled weakly. Seeing that this girl was almost time, she revealed her sharp fangs and sank it onto the girl’s neck. Instead draining her blood away, she inserted her own blood into the tall girl’s body.
The girl could not feel anything. Only a moment that she knew that the vampire was cradling her, murmuring.
“Heh, human. My name is Yuko.”

Blood Curse
1st Curse: Vampire’s curse
“Why do you do this Yuko?”
“Nothing. Just feel like saving her, so I brought her back.”
“That’s not the problem, Yuko.”
“Then what?”
“Why did you inject your own blood to her?”
"Why can’t I? Is my blood, not yours…?”
“Yuko! You know that most of normal humans can’t accept our blood…”
“I know! Of course I know. But at least she could try… to live with it…”
“Urg… Yuko, we only blooded somebody that is special to us… but this is also forbidden too. Because father had set the rules that we could only be with another pureblood vampire, not humans.”
“Yes yes. He told me gazillion times. So what? Can’t I be with her? I mean if she lives on…”
“Oh Yuko. You just met this girl yesterday and you wanted to be with her forever? You must be insane…”
“Oh no. You’re wrong, Takamina. The moment our eyes met, I felt something strange… something I never felt before for centuries ago.”
“For just a night? Love had blossom? No way, Yuko. Impossible.”
“Then how about your Atsuko, Takamina-sama? I realized you have been out during the day to find her…yes?”
“…Tch…”
“Now then your secrets are safe here, better mine is also the same. We’re in the same boat, nee-sama.”
“Well… these things must be sealed away from father and Jurina too. If she finds out… God, I can’t imagine it.”
“Roger, Takamina-sama. You better keep your mouth shut too.”
“Deal. We had a deal.”
“Sure thing.”
“Then, how are you going to explain to Jurina about the newcomer? If she lives on, of course.”
“I’ll find my own way.”
The door shut, leaving Takamina alone in the spacious room. She sighed, and looked out of the window.
“Guess I can’t find you today, Acchan.”

It’s hot. The surrounding was hot, the water was hot, and my body was hot.
I could feel the warm blood rushing through my veins with speed. I was in a very hot water, almost drowning. I could hear my heartbeat pulsating and it was hard to breath.
I felt like I was dying. Even more tortured, even more suffered.
The level of the water had surpassed me, making me drown in the hot, boiling water. The prickling and the pain devoured in my body. I wanted to scream, but I can’t. I wanted to swim, but I can’t. I could not even move my limbs.
I don’t know how many minutes I’m in this hot water. I gave up struggling, let the horrendous water engulfed me. As I am going to surrender to the darkness, I saw a light. A very dim yet bright light. How should I say this…? It was, shining. I used up strength to move my burned hand and try to reach it. I still have hope…
A hand pulled me. A gushed of force flowing inside my body, and I’m swimming towards the unknown source of light.

“Will she make it? It almost time.” Takamina was sitting at a stool, crossing her hands, leaning against the white wall.
“I’m sure she will, Takamina. I’m sure.” Yuko’s grip was tighter, as uneasy feeling crossed her mind. She took the tall girl’s hand to her mouth, gave a soft kiss, and her face was uncomfortable.
The midget took a glimpse of the squirrel, and turned away to see the girl in the bed. She was lying on the bed, with sweats decorated her face. She had a pain expression, which looks like she was having a nightmare. Takamina could hear a faint moaning and groaning, maybe from the mixing blood process. She looked away again, wondering why Yuko was so fond against this girl. She was just a normal, mere girl that you can find in the streets. Why is she so care about this commoner anyway…?
“Ahh….. Ouch… what…?” Yuko cried in joy as the tall girl opened her eyes. Yuko buried herself in the girl’s embrace, making her shocked and confused. The brown haired midget did not care, continued snuggled warmly her embrace. The girl pushed Yuko away, muttering, “Ano… who… are… you? Why am I here?”
Yuko got up, brushing her bangs, said, “Yo, Do you remember your name?”
“Ahh… it’s… Haruna. Kojima Haruna.”
“Sw~eet~” A grin formed on her face. Yuko grabbed her hand, introduced herself and the midget beside her.
“I’m Yuko and this is Takamina! We’re both sisters you know~ I’m the younger one.” Yuko pulled Takamina to greet the girl. The midget’s face formed an irritated expression, and pushed Yuko’s hands away from her shirt. Yuko backed off, knowing that Takamina was angry when she did that. Haruna slightly chuckled, making them two in red faces.
“Erm… Yuko-san, May I know where am I? How did I end up here?”
Haruna could see that Yuko and Takamina’s face were slightly darken, but covered off with a big smile of Yuko. “You are in our mansion, of course! And… do you remember… anything? About last night?”
Haruna shook her head. Both of the midgets stared at each other, wondering how to explain about themselves, her herself…
“I’ll go get a drink for her.” Leaving, Yuko patted Takamina’s shoulder and asked her to get a drink of plain water. She kept emphasizing on the word plain water, Takamina shrugged off and closed the room door. Yuko turned to Haruna, who was staring at the room with curiosity. She sighed and sat beside Haruna, making the girl flinched. In a moment, their eyes met. Haruna could not withstand the charming face, looked away with a tomato face. Yuko chuckled softly, gripped Haruna’s hand with no effort. The girl blushed, looked down, but still making eye contact with the stunning deep red orbs. The midget smile warmly. She leaned down, getting closer to Haruna. The blushed girl was unable to defend herself, so she just let Yuko’s lips getting closer and closer to hers…
“Ah, nyan-nyan, open up your mouth…” A sudden command from Yuko. Haruna opened immediately, not knowing what Yuko was up to. Yuko observed Haruna teeth, and she noticed Haruna owned two sharp but short fangs. Feeling satisfy, she sat up in her position, making the tall girl squelched a bit. The girl looked away; she felt that this midget was toying with her feelings. Yuko tilted her head to the side, confused with this human’s moves.
But she was smart. The great Yuko-sama was smart enough to figure out what had happen to this girl.
Yuko leaned down again, this time their lips met. The sudden move of Yuko made Haruna flinched and blushed at the same time. She broke the kiss, her mind was still interpreting. This charming, beautiful midget was kissing her? She must in her dreams…
Yuko smiled. She laughed slightly.
“Your drink, miss.” Takamina went in the room and passed the drink to Haruna. She accepted it and drank it. Within moments, the glass was empty.
“Ah~” Yuko stretched her body. “Why don’t you go for a bath? We have a big onsen here…” Haruna nodded.
“I’ll be joining you shortly, nyan-nyan. You can go to the bath first.”
Haruna nodded again, and walked towards the bath. The servants leaded the way. Yuko patted Haruna’s shoulder and left with Takamina.
She walked to the bath, quietly. Her mind was full of unanswered questions.

Haruna was dipping in the bath, enjoying the scenery in the big luxury bath room. She could see stars on the dark night, shining dimly. She stared, until she heard the door opened by somebody, she quickly soaked herself inside the warm water.
“Nyan-nyan~ You here?” Haruna felt relieved that it was Yuko. She replied hastily, still inside the water. Her eyes widen and her face was warm as she saw Yuko’s slender body. She buried half of her head in the water, not wanting to show the embarrassment of herself. Yuko saw her, gave her a big grin. She asked Haruna whether she wanted to help Yuko washed her back.
“…Ok…If you say so…”
The tall girl grabbed a towel and started scrubbing Yuko’s back. She felt a little dizzy, maybe it was Yuko’s figure was too overwhelming, or she soaked in the bath for too long.
She kept on scrubbing, and slightly moved her fingers to the pure, white skin. She traced it, earning a confused Yuko. Haruna shook her head, and went back to scrub. As she moved her hands on Yuko’s back, she smelled a nice scent from her. She leaned over the midget’s shoulders, and nuzzled on it. Yuko, knowing what was going on, smirked as Haruna continued her action. The tall girl did not realize what she was doing, kept on nuzzled on the white, soft skin until she reached beside the neck, she stopped.
Yuko smirked again. She knew exactly what was going to happen next.
Haruna, who was overwhelmed by her scent, revealed her short yet sharp fangs, ready to sink on the soft skin. When she was about to do it, the door opened, making the girl jolted out. Yuko splashed the water, muttering “so close, so close…” She turned to the one who had interfere their moment, glared angrily to her. Takamina, gave a confused look as she don’t know what had just happen.
“Arg… So close, so close! Takamina! Why do you interfere in this important moment!!?” Deep in Yuko’s heart, she was screaming.
Ohhoho... Haruna awake as a vampire, sadly Takamina came in and she stopped her movement...
Takamina, go find your Acchan~ Stop interferring KojiYuu~

Blood Curse
NOTE: Speaking of vampires, in this story, the vampires are ranked. The highest class, A, of course is Pureblood, followed by rank B, C, D, and the lowest of all, E.
Pureblood is the most powerful vampires in the vamp world. They ruled, like a king, or a ruler in the country. They are high, noble class vampires, and the blood that flows in their body is pure vampire blood. They could control their thirst, their animal instinct very well, as they are trained. They have charming, beautiful appearance that surpassed the beauty of human. Of course, they’re pale. But their eyes can be in different colour, other than red. They can fight, and they can be fierce if they had to. By the way, only Pureblood can blooded someone, despite their pure vampire blood could make a man changed into a vampire. But only if the man’s blood could mixed with it.
Rank B, is slightly lower than Pureblood. The only thing is they don’t rule. They obeyed the rules that set for them. They have most of the feature of pureblood, but their blood isn’t pure as them. Mostly of them are mixed, whether from human or another vampire… They are still classify as noble high class vampire, but not as noble as the pureblood. Their eye colour is deep red, reflecting the maturity of the Rank B vampires.
Rank C, is where humans were bitten and changed into a vampire. They have no logical thinking; the only thing they want is blood. They are always thirsty, craving for blood. But in this Rank, these vampires had the same feature as human. No inhuman powers, no super strength or whatever. These are just low immortals who are just craving for blood.
Rank D, vampires who can’t get enough of blood. They craved, they hunt, for blood. Blood is the most important thing in their life now. Their eyes are bright red, and their features are uglier than a human. They lose their mind. Almost every Rank C vamp fall into this Rank.
Rank E, vampires who are need to be extinguished. The only thing they want is to quench their thirst, and they will not satisfy. They can’t control their animal instinct, and they always find a way to get more blood; fighting, killing, biting… They are insane, they are unstoppable. And the only way to stop them is to kill them, by the vampire hunter association, of course. They are animals. Animals who lose their mind, and let their instinct led the way. Rank C and D will always fall to this Rank, if they can’t suppress the instinct and thirst carefully.
Mansion of the pureblood: Yuko, Takamina, Jurina.
The mansion is big, spacious, like those you seen in the early 1800. The mansion is beautiful, with fountains, green lushly garden, huge rooms, and classic dining rooms and so on. So, this mansion is unmanageable without servants. The servants are humans, while the masters are purebloods. Purebloods are like those high class people, so those servants didn’t notice anything. Well, except they kept serving their masters red liquid. But they could only keep quiet. They could not talk about their masters. It was against the rules. If they were caught, their blood may end up in their masters’ glass.
Vampire Hunter Association: Vampire hunters. Those who hunt Rank C to E and extinguished it into ashes. This is a secret work, where the government of that era didn’t notice that there are vampires roaming in the town. Each of them have their own territory, and they earn rewards by seeing who kill the most Rank E vampires.
So yeah… This is a brief explanation of my kind of vampire story.

2nd Curse: Lust curse?
Define Vampire.
-An immortal that was stunning, beautiful and charming other than humans. Feed on human blood.
Define Pureblood.

Yuko, Jurina and Takamina was sitting at the mansion’s library, taking the annual test that they father had prepared.
“Ouch! What th- TAKAMINA!!” Yuko roared as Takamina hurled a book towards her head, and then took her paper away. The captain glanced at the paper, eventually laughed, mocking Yuko.
“Your definition of Vampire and Pureblood are the same! Pfft. Hey Jurina, look at this!” Jurina titled her head, reading Yuko’s answer. Meanwhile, Yuko was busying chasing Takamina in the library, trying to get her revenge.
“Yuko-sama, vampires and Purebloods aren’t the same, y’know.” Jurina put the paper beside her, back to answer the questions peacefully.
“I know. I’m just too lazy to think.” Yuko could feel the heat inside her body rushed up, as she took the paper and sat beside Jurina. Takamina watched the squirrel was seated, and then she only come out and sit down.
The brown hair midget sat down, leaned down her head on the table, pouting. She tried to think but none of those information were useful enough for answering the paper. She turned and looked at Jurina, who was scribbling non-stop since the moment she got the paper. She looked back her paper, rolling the pencil side by side, hoping to know the answers.
“Gah… All these thinking make me thirsty…” Yuko said in a tone of annoyance. She glared at Jurina, but she still continuing answering, ignoring Yuko. The midget pleaded with puppy eyes, making Jurina flinched watching the cute squirrel pouting. The dense kid sighed, used her razor sharp fangs pierced her wrist, making an opening for Yuko. Yuko was delighted and she started licking Jurina’s wrist hungrily. Takamina saw, drooling beside her. Jurina noticed Takamina was staring at Yuko, shook her head.
“After Yuko, you may have some, nee-sama.”
So, in the end, during dinner time, she drank almost twenty glasses of blood, in order to replace the blood she lost in the library.

“Ah~ Jurina was so cute and her blood is so tempting…” Yuko’s thoughts were wondering around ten years ago, when they were just kids. Takamina was sipping her drink, while touching the part where Yuko just hit her hardly. She was just entering the bath, and was greeted by a flying bin. It knocked down her, not knowing what had just happen. She only saw Haruna was blushing, and the furious midget.
They were at Takamina’s room, chatting. It was almost dawn.
“Where’s Jurina?”
“Probably off with Rena.”
“They’re dating?”
“Beats me. I think so. Maybe.” Takamina rubbed her head, softly.
“… Did you feed Haruna?” A sudden question by Takamina, making Yuko became a little angry.
“I tried to. In the bath just now. And it was perfect until you rushed in. Bakamina.” Yuko smirked.
“Who are you calling Bakamina? Respect your sister!” Takamina raged. She didn’t like people calling her Bakamina. Its sounds stupid… wait, it is stupid.
“Whatever. I’m going back to my room and feed her right now, is there anything?” Yuko walked to door, pausing her steps.
“Nah, nothing. Just remember to tell Jurina about the newcomer. Don’t let her suspense anything…” Takamina trailed off, as she gulped down the liquid.
“Ok, I’ll be off then. You better come back home by afternoon, if you’re finding your Atsuko today.” Saying, Yuko closed the door behind her, and walked away.

“Gah… Why I am so thirsty?” Haruna grumbled and walked down the hallway. The place was decorated as grand as ever, like a palace. There were luxurious statues lining up the pathway with beautiful paintings hanging against the walls. She gasped and looked around curiously, felt so lucky that a poor commoner like her could enter a grand mansion. With her thirst, she kept walking down the hallway, not knowing where to go. She passed many rooms, pictures, kitchen…
She stopped when she saw the back kitchen’s door was leaving ajar. Maybe she could ask some of the servants to give her a drink…
Haruna saw a servant was gripping her wrist, with blood flowing out.
The suffered from her throat became uncontrollable when she saw the scene. Her throat was burning as she clenched her teeth, holding something back. She did not know what was it, but something was urging her to dash in the back kitchen, and…
“…No,” Haruna shook her head vigorously. “…I can’t… No way… I’m not a…”
Before she realized, Haruna was already grabbing the servant’s wrist, showing her fangs and blood red eyes were piercing through the girl’s orbs.
“KYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“What?!” Both Yuko and Takamina jolted out from the hysterical scream. Takamina dashed out from her room, and stared at the shocked Yuko with widen orbs.
Something clicked in Yuko’s mind, and she started running towards the scream. As she was near the back kitchen, she could hear a crying tone pleading for mercy. Her dead serious face was shown to some of the servants whom where observing the scene shockingly. One of the servants trembled, telling Yuko about the incident.
Yuko just smirked and went into the back kitchen. As she thought, the new born vampire was draining the servant’s blood hungrily. She smacked Haruna hardly, and threw the corpse to the servants and ordered them to dispose it. They nodded and went to do their job.
“Ano… Yuko-sama, d-do you want me to… call the… Vampire Hunter Association?” A servant girl asked with a frightening tone.
“No. They’re not needed. I will take care of this vampire.” Yuko said with a stern tone as she cradled the fainted Haruna. The girl made way for them, and wanted to back away, but was called by Yuko again.
“Tell the servants: Do not utter a word about this incident, if not, you all will be gone for the rest of your lives.”
The deadly glare of Yuko managed to make the girl scrammed away. She let out a sigh, cradling Haruna back to Yuko’s room. Takamina rushed to the scene, almost bumped into Yuko.
“What’s with that scream?”
“Oh nothing. Just a new born vampire was thirsty and attacked one of the servants in this mansion.”
“You sounded like its normal. It’s not normal, Yuko. The servants did not know our real identity. They will freak out if they found a crazy vampire let loose.” Takamina crossed her hands, sulking.
“Well, whose fault is it? Let me guess… I was trying to feed Haruna in the bath, while somebody came in and make a lot of noise until her…”
“OK,OK. FINE. IT WAS MY FAULT. Happy?” Takamina interrupted.
“Now you knew nee-sama.” Yuko put Haruna down on the soft mattress. She wiped the blood stained on her mouth.
“Owh…” Haruna blinked and rubbed her cheek. The pain still attached to her face, making her growled as she tried to sit up. She noticed that Takamina and Yuko were staring at her, with an unhappy face. What did she do? She can’t remember until she attacked a servant…
Pieces of memories collapsed together. She remembered. She was… draining her blood as she was sobbing. But she just kept on, sucking the blood. She could still feel the warm blood flowing down her burning throat…
“Yuko… a-am I a-a-a vampire?” Haruna broke down, crying. Both of them looked at each other, and Yuko quickly pat Haruna’s head softly. Takamina was trying to calm her down, by saying some lame jokes that only made Yuko shrugged.
“Shh… Haruna… Listen to me, ok?” Both hands were placed at Haruna’s shoulder. She stopped crying, tearful innocent orange orbs were staring directly at the deep red orbs.
“Do you still remember the night that I’ve met you?” Haruna nodded a little, but eventually shook her head. Yuko smiled, and continued. “You were dying, Haruna, in the cold dark night…”
“You almost died, but I saved you. Do you want to know how?” The tall girl remembered clearly after listening to Yuko’s explanation. The image in her head was getting clearer as she saw a figure was whispering to her: “I could help you, but in return you must be my side, always.”
“I blooded you. Meaning, I’ve inject my vampire blood into your body. So, you’re not living as a human, but as a vampire.” Her orange eyes widen as she heard vampire. She was shocked; she was not human? Then that explains everything when she was attacking the girl… She was craving for blood!
“But then, you’re in Rank C. We are purebloods. The highest and most noble vampires in the vamp world.” Takamina looked away, saying.
“Don’t worry, nyan-nyan. You have the chance to become a pureblood…” Yuko coughed.
Haruna tilted her head, cutely, making Yuko blushed. “How?”
“By feeding on my blood, or Takamina’s. You can’t feed on human’s blood yet. If you do, you will drop to Rank D, or worst, Rank E. And will be extinguished by the vampire hunters.”
“That’s scary…so I just have to feed on your blood? Yuko-sama?” Haruna asked again.
“Yup. And I have a lot of blood for you!” Yuko showed her dimple, snuggled in Haruna’s embrace again. Takamina shook her head, and left the two alone in their own world.
“It almost evening… I should go and find Acchan before she gets mad at me…”
I removed the scene, and replace it with this. :nervous

Yep, I took that from vampire knight. I was a big fan of vampire knight tho....
Well, its like that. Rank C vampires could become a rank B/A vampire by fusing Purebloods' blood. They can only feed on pure blood, not humans. So, any of them is okay. But once they feed on human blood, they will start craving for more, and more, and more... and they rankings drop.
They also can be a pureblood, by feeding on vampire blood. But, the vampire blood must kill all the red blood cell of humans, then replace with it. The fastest way is a pureblood inject its blood once more....
....but that will be boring, if I made this so fast, right? :lol: :lol: :nervous

3rd Curse: Hunter’s curse
The night was silence. There were no birds flying, no rats squeaking. Only the lamps flickered on and off when the cold wind blew. A girl with shoulder length hair was walking on the dark street. She wore no expression, kept on walking as she heard some faint wind blowing sound.
She heard only her own footsteps, walking in her pace.
As she passed by an open land, she could see some figures with red eyes glowing in the dark. She looked up, but she decided to let it be as she pulled her coat around her and continued walking.
These figures seemed to notice her, charging straight towards her.
The girl was ready to pull out her weapon, but stopped when she saw a midget stood in front of her, gripped one of the vampires and tossed them far away. She was shocked to see a short girl to have such strength. Before she realized, a vampire pounced, revealed sharp fangs, wanted to attack the girl. The midget got in time to land a heavy punch before it touched the girl. The shoulder length hair girl gasped as she saw the red orbs were glowing bright red while hitting the Rank E vampire.
The midget twisted her neck, standing on top of piles of dead vampires.
“Heh, A girl like you should not be walking in the streets alone, it’s dangerous.” Takamina smirked, stared at the girl.
“Hmp. I do not need your help. I can take care of myself.” Atsuko felt something about this vampire. She was different. Maybe she was a pureblood? Despite her charming looks, and unexpected strength…
…Oh, and her eye colour, they’re blue. Azure blue. She once read a book of purebloods, and it said that Purebloods are very similar to humans, but the beauty and looks surpassed humans.
“Hey, I was just helping you, no thank you?” Takamina gave Atsuko a confused look.
Acchan was staring at the pureblood, thinking. [Maybe she did not know that I had known her real identity. Hmm… she must have thought that I am a just a mere human… This is interesting… Maybe I’ll play along… or maybe she has a motive? Maybe she wanted to eat me alone, and drain my precious blood away…?]
“Ahh…” Atsuko scratched her head. “Thank you?”
Takamina smiled, making Acchan’s heart skipped a beat. “That’s better…” She jumped down gracefully and landed in front of Atsuko. Atsuko took a step back, ready to take out her weapon if this pureblood is trying to drain her blood away.
The midget noticed that this human’s guard was high, but she just smiled wryly. “Relax; I’m not going to hurt you…”
“How do I know…?” Atsuko smirked back, when she noticed that she kept walking backwards until she hit the wall. The pureblood only smiled. Such a simple smile, yet it affect Acchan’s heart like she was melting down.
“Well, I’m Takamina, what’s yours?” Takamina held her hand, hoping to be friends with this girl. But her blue eyes widen as a soft lips met hers.
They kissed passionately, not knowing that they had only just met for a night.
“… I’m Atsuko. You can call me Acchan, Takamina!” Atsuko left the vampire, turned back and gave a flying kiss to the dumbstruck Takamina.
Acchan kept walking until she reached her home. Her heartbeat was beating fast and she didn’t know why she kissed that pureblood. Her mind was spinning and can’t think straight. The heat was rising as she thought of Takamina’s smile. They just met today! How could she have feelings for her? And she’s a pureblood, her enemy!
She shook her head, wanted to shake off the kissing scene that stuck in her head.
[I’m a vampire hunter, and I can’t have feelings with a pureblood.]

That was one year ago.
Atsuko was getting dressed, ready to hunt some vampires to earn some pocket money. If she is lucky, she may kill some of Rank E vampires in her territory and get rewards. She checked her precious weapons, the silver dagger and stake, and her others accessories. She patted her backpack and smiled.
“Hunting vampires again?” A lady came out from the kitchen, bringing a bento.
“Un. I’m going to hunt Rank E vampires today. The association said that the Rank E vampires had been increasing for these past few days.”
“Well, please come home safely by dawn.” The lady passed the bento to Atsuko, with an worried expression.
“I will, mum. I’m out, then.” She gave her mum a peck on her cheek and stepped out of the house.
“Haih, this child…” Yukirin smiled, and went back to the bedroom.

“Hi! Acchan!” As Atsuko stepped out of the house, she was greeted by a vampire midget, whom she met one year ago.
Atsuko just ignored, and walked away. Feeling confused, Takamina wondered why Atsuko was acting coldly today.
“Hey Acchan! Where are you going? It almost night time and its dangerous.” Takamina moved swiftly beside her, making her flinched. She just glared at Takamina, and ignored her once more. Poor midget was so confused of her friend’s cold attitude towards her.
[Because of you, I can’t even go out and hunt vampires. I can’t tell you that I’m a vampire hunter and of course, will you tell me that you’re a pureblood? No, right?] Atsuko thought, and noticed that some vampires were roaming on the streets.
She pulled out her stake, aimed at the vampire, and shoot towards the direction. It aimed on its arm, earning a loud growl that make her shivered a while.
[I never thought Rank E vampire will have a loud growl like this…] Red blood eyes glowed angrily at her, like a predator had found its prey. The figure moved closer, slowly, as footsteps rattled the ground and the sound was ringing in Atsuko’s ears. She wondered, this was not Rank E anymore, despite the charging was slow. This was…
The figure shone under the moonlight with a feral glow. The gleaming red orbs, the sharp fangs stained with blood, and the mystically beauty that shoot through Atsuko’s mind.
“Pureblood” She muttered softly, legs were trembling. She had shot the wrong vampire. She should not have targeted purebloods, and that was against the rule. Because, they will kill her first before she even could make a move.
A eerie giggled was heard by the pureblood. Atsuko looked up, and saw that this vampire was laughing sarcastically as she made her way towards Atsuko.
“Nee,” The figure laughed. Orbs were now glaring dead serious at her prey, “Okotteru?”
The pureblood charged, managed to use its sharp fangs bit on Atsuko’s arm. Crimson liquid flowing like a water tap, making Atsuko weak, and she gripped her arm in pain. She immediately took out her dagger, and plant on the vampire’s back. Unable to defend, the vampire hissed in agony as it hit the wall. Atsuko was still in pain, and the vampire pulled out the dagger and threw it away. A smiled was formed in her face, while Atsuko stared in horror of its back. The wound was healed, instantly.
“Next, hunter-san, will be your neck.” A loud guffaw and she walked slowly towards her prey.
“Oi, gekikara, stop it.” Takamina came out from nowhere, was now in front of injured Atsuko, facing Gekikara.
“Go find your own prey, Takamina. This one is mine.” She hissed. Takamina stood there, glaring at her with her cool blue eyes. Their distant were close, and Takamina had to tilted up her head to face gekikara.
“Leave Atsuko alone, or I’ll break your bones, Gekikara.”
“Sure, come and break, then.” She challenged, making Takamina smirked.
“Oh, I would like to, but then if I do, it will break Jurina’s heart too. I don’t want to break my sister’s heart, so leave.” Takamina said with a harsh tone. Gekikara, took a step back and shrugged after hearing the name, Jurina. She turned away, and vanished at the junction.
Takamina sighed, and offered help to Atsuko. She hesitated for while, took her hand, and stood up abruptly. She used a piece of cloth to tie her wound off, and went for picking up her weapons. She cleaned the blood, and put it in her backpack.
“You knew them, right?” A sudden question for Takamina, making her shivered for while.
She put her hand on her head. “Ahaha… what are you talkin-…”
“You’re a vampire, right!?”
Takamina did not know how to react to the question. Acchan was glaring at her, waiting, even though she knew Takamina’s identity. But in this night, she wanted to make an end; this pureblood was bothering her too much, until she can’t think straight… Her mind was full of her images, and she really felt comfortable when she was with her. But this did not make any sense, she was a vampire hunter, and she can’t be friend with a pureblood, right?
…Maybe she can?
“Yes, I’m a pureblood.” Takamina confessed. Seeing that Atsuko’s face was not shocked as she thought, she wondered why…
“Look, I don’t know what you want from me… but we… just can’t be together.” Atsuko walked the opposite direction of Takamina. She tried to hide the blushed she got just from looking at Takamina.
“Why?”
“…Because…” Takamina gulped.
“… Vampire and humans are not mend to be together, Takamina.”
Takamina could heard, the sound of Atsuko’s heart breaking.

Somehow i want to become a pureblood vampire after reading this. I read vampire knights before (it's not finished, isn't it?) and loved Kaname Kuran :inlove:. I didn't expect that Yuuki turned out to be a pure-blood too though and how strange that siblings could marry each other.
I agree that Takamina should turn Acchan into a pure-blood as well/

4th night: Your curse
“Nee, Can I go out?”
“No.”
“Eehh… Why? It’s so boring to stay here~”
“Are you saying that I’m boring?”
“Eh? Ah… no… Cause I really, really want to go out… maybe a while?”
Haruna pleaded Yuko with a sweet smile. Yuko was drinking her tea (red tea) gracefully and read a magazine while Haruna was busing pleading her to go out. Yuko shook her head vigorously, making Haruna pouted as she gave up on Yuko’s stubbornness.
“Tadaima…” Takamina greeted Yuko and Haruna when she saw them in the garden. Her face was not energetic as usual, and both of them could feel the gloomy aura of the captain. Takamina slumped on the chair and sighed. The servant served the tea and she muttered a soft ‘thank you’.
“Ohoho, Takamina nee-sama, what’s wrong? Rejected by Atsuko?” Yuko teased with a sly grin on her face.
“Shut up.”
Takamina lied down on the table, looking sideways.
“Gekikara on rampaged again, Yuko.” She said with a flat tone.
“Hah… No wonder I heard that Rank E vampires are increasing these days… Tch. That kid sure need to learn how to finish its meal…” Yuko complain loudly. Haruna flinched as she heard there were vampires roaming freely on the streets. She gulped.
“And… I saw Acchan was out in the worst timing.”
“What did you saw?”
“She was holding a dagger, and she stabbed Geki.” Takamina sat up, cleared her throat and drank her tea.
“Vampire hunter?”
“Nah, I’m sure she is not. Such a kind girl…” Takamina frosted. Maybe Yuko was right. Maybe Atsuko was a vampire hunter but she did not want to say it. Maybe she already knew Takamina’s identity… No wonder she was not shocked when Takamina confessed that she was a pureblood.
“Did something click in your mind? You looked quiet and-… Hey, Nyan-nyan. Come back here!” Yuko shouted as she saw Haruna trying to escape from her. She called her, but Haruna ignored, kept on running until she reached the front gate. Checking there were no sign of Yuko or Takamina, she slipped out of the mansion and ran towards the dark.
“Heh… finally…”
Haruna bumped on a hard figure and she fell down. Her butt kissed the ground, as she moaned in pain. She tilted her head, wanted to know who the one who bumped on her was. She looked, gasped at the sight as she saw a young beautiful girl was staring at her. Haruna was mesmerized at this girl. The girl stretched out her hand, helping Haruna to stand.
“You should look your way when you’re walking.” The girl said.
Haruna thanked girl, but when she wanted to leave, she was called by a familiar voice. She sighed, turned around and gave up as she saw Yuko was already in front of her. The girl smiled, noticing how Yuko treated Haruna like a mother who was teaching her child to be good. Haruna looked down, and pouted cutely as Yuko was teaching her a lesson.
The girl cleared her throat; to make them realized that she was here. “Hey, um. Hello?” She smiled awkwardly.
“Oh hey, Jurina.” Yuko greeted her in a manner. She pulled Haruna beside her and pushed her head to bow. “Ah. Itai!! Yuko-sama!” Haruna complained.
“So, who’s this? I just went out for few weeks and there’s a newcomer?”
“Un. Her name is Haruna.”
“Haruna? Nice name. Haruna, can you come here?” Saying, Jurina cupped Haruna’s cheek and started sniffling. The tall girl was taken aback by Jurina’s gestures and heat rose up her body.
“Hmm, Rank B. Thought that you brought a human back for celebrating my homecoming, nee-sama.” Jurina smirked and let go Haruna. The midget carried Haruna and made a sign, signaling her to go to the garden to meet Takamina. Jurina nodded, and in a moment, she vanished. Yuko brought the almost-fainted
Haruna back to the garden, and she was going to ensure that this girl was not going to escape again.
When they reached the garden, Jurina was already there, talking to Takamina where she was reading and nodding at the same time.
“Geki missed you, y’know.” Takamina put down her magazine and talked.
“Yeah, I know. I was only out for a few weeks…”
“… Where did you go actually?” Yuko interrupted.
“Wondering in towns, travelled around villages…” Jurina smiled.
“Back to the topic, Jurina. Now that you’re home, I want you to control Gekikara.” Takamina took a sip of her tea. Realizing that it was finish, she handed to the servant and asked for more.
“Why?”
“She’s on rampaged again, Jurina. Maybe she missed you too much…” Yuko gripped Haruna’s wrist tightly, noticing that she was going to escape once more. She sent a deadly glare to her, earning a moan and a very cute pout.
“Ahh… I will. No wondered there are so much Rank E vampires on the streets when I was on my way back home. Okay, I’ll do something.”
Jurina vanished after replying. Meanwhile, Takamina stirred her tea and thought of Atsuko.
“Vampires and humans are not mend to be together, Takamina.”
The words still ringing loudly and clearly in her mind. She was clueless; If Atsuko hated her, or maybe not so fond in her, then she should speak out long time ago. But why…now only that she say it? Why?
Takamina rubbed her temple. She should ask the reason why Atsuko treated her this way today. Just only today, she treated Takamina like a stranger. Why only today, but not other times? Takamina was very confused.
“Humans are so complicated.” She mocked, chuckled herself.

An eerie laughing was heard when Jurina passed by a foggy streets. The street lights were dim, and she barely seen her way. Two red orbs glimmered and she narrowed her eyes, seeing a faint figure from afar. Jurina dashed, and hugged it before it made its move.
The laughed stopped, replaced by a soft sobbing. Jurina could felt that droplets of tears dripping down, as she snuggled deeply in her embrace. The figure trembled, unable to utter a word. Slowly, both of her hand which covered in blood responded Jurina’s hug.
“Tadaima, Rena.” Jurina muttered softly.

Haruna 's rank got up because she's feeding on Yuko 's blood. Rank C could up a level once they feed on pure vampire blood. The pure blood had some kind of chemical that will reduce the thirst. Unlike human blood,it was like drugs.
Jurina was the only one who can control Rena 's tantrums.

I really love how you portrayed Jurina's character here.
Now I understand how one can jump to Type B when fed on enough pure vampire's blood but I think it should be IMPOSSIBLE to go to Type A which is PURE vampire blood. But you mentioned somewhere how Kojiharu can jump to A so I'm curious if all the original Pureblood (Jurina, Rena, Yuko and Takamina) actually used to be humans.

Today I'm all dizzy and nauseous... Such a bad day... So I, besides sewing a dress for myself, decided to read some fiction... Lying in bed I take my lappie and go through the fics and yours is the first one which is able to grasp my attention. I start to read and after reading it...I decide it is worth to have a huge comment from me XD
First things first, I will add to all others here that I love how you portray Juju here. She seems mature - one of my soon to be posted stories also has a mature Juju :nervous - and so cool :) She doesn't seem like a bad or unforgiving person but I remember Yuko-sama mentioning to Takamina that she doesn't want Juju to find out about how Haruna came to the house - that she was a human... So she is probably stronger than Yuko-sama or Baka Sou-chan, yeah?
Gekikara is always a pleasure to watch or read or even write about and Rena-sama is my SKE Kami-oshi and my 2nd favorite from the whole 48 family so I don't think it's a surprise that I like this character the most here (surprisingly Yuko-sama, who is my KAMI OSHI, comes third in this story, after Juju who is second fav here XD ) So Geki can be tamed only by Jurina, nee? That is cool. And I definitely loved how she changed by 180° and started crying when Juju appeared. It was so sweet and it showed she's not that bad of a monster, that she just missed the other Matsui badly (trying to find excuses for her wrong doings...I'm so biased :nervous :wub: )
Reading how Yuko tries to control Haruna is just :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: especially the pleading puppy eyed Haruna (instead of the usual pleading for attention Yuko-sama irl :lol: ) the interactions between these two are just EPIC and I don't want them to change from this to being all serious coz they are a nice comic relief here :twothumbs
Now Acchan and Sou-chan... Poor Bakamina... Acchan rejected her cruelly and only now she realized Atsuko is a vampire hunter... I just hope this doesn't draw them apart even more. I think they should just talk with each other about this instead of Acchan avoiding the topic and deciding not to say who she is... And that just once again proved how dense Takamina is :sweatdrop: XD
Do I recall it right, Mario is involved in this story as the head vamp? Or I was just imagining something? Wanna know their all stories and how they became vampires... Were they human at first and were turned into vampires (like someone mentioned) or were they born already as pure-blood ones?
I'll be waiting for your updates...and answers, coz my curiousity has its limis and I might go havoc when I don't get answers... :nervous :twisted:

5th Curse: Friendship Curse
She was bathing in the sunlight, a warm breeze touched her face, making her squirmed a little. She slowly opened her eyes, and found out that she was at the vast open field near her house. She rubbed her eyes gently, adding a yawn while she relaxed her sore muscles. The morning scenery was beautiful; with warm sunlight shone down to the ground, tree leaves rustled and the birds were chirping happily…
… And a loud siren tone ripped through the peaceful atmosphere.
Atsuko blinked, noticed that the tone was coming from her pocket. She ruffled her messy hair, while fumbled her phone slowly and realized her mother’s missed call filled the notification box. Her mum must be very frantic when she did not manage to go home. She shook her head with a wry smile.
[Oh, how did I end up here again?]
Atsuko blinked again, this time when she blinked, she felt her eyes were sore. She touched her eyes, found that there were some dried tears trailing down her cheeks. In a moment, she remembered everything about last night. Last night was the night where she rejected Takamina.

Atsuko watched Takamina’s small weak body vanished from her sight. Her heart skipped a beat when a cold wind blew, as if was mocking her for her actions. She gritted her teeth, walked down the opposite direction until she came across the vast open field. From there, she could see the night view clearly; it was utterly serene night with stars flickering, decorating the velvet sky. As she stared at the peaceful sky, tears started flowing down like a water tap.
The sky seemed so peaceful, but her heart was not. Her heart was aching.
Piece of fragment memories played in her mind, especially the moment where she spent with Takamina. Even thought that she was a pureblood, she had never hurt her before. Sometimes, Atsuko even forgot that she was with a vampire all along.
The kindness, the warmth that Takamina gave to Atsuko, was so warm that she never felt in her whole life.
“Takamina… I’m so sorry…”
She cried, huddled herself. Under the sky, under the care of the cold wind, she muttered, and gradually fell asleep, drifted in her dreams.
“Please come back, Takamina… I regret about it… I’m really sorry…”

She groaned at her stupidity to ignore Takamina. She solemnly regret and wanted to apologize for her harshness. She was too angry that time, because the Vampire Hunter Association started to ask her about her efficiency in extinguishing vampires. This had made her in annoyance, and she let out her frustration on Takamina.
Her family’s only income was selling flowers. Even thought that it was just two persons in the family, the money earn from the flowers was not enough. In order to add the income in the family, she joined the association, after knowing that the rewards was high, and started her career as a vampire hunter.
She did not have any friends. Takamina was the first.
Well, she had, but lost contact with her after a night, where they were hunting vampires. Maybe she was already dead, or worse, trapped in a body, craving for blood.
She jolted out from her reverie as the siren tone was heard. It was from the Vampire Hunter Association.
‘Maeda-san, we have a job for you. It comes with very high rewards if you manage to accomplish it. If you want this job, please come to the head quarter now after receiving this message. Thank you. Regards from the Vampire Hunter Association HQ.’
Flipping close her phone, she walked to her home to get change and headed towards the HQ.

It was morning, and Yuko was in her bed, ready to sleep but Haruna dashed in the room, making her shuddered a while, as she saw Haruna’s innocent face and intense orbs were staring at her.
“Nee,” Yuko realized that Haruna was crawling up the bed, and she was on top of her. “… Yuu-chan…”
[Oh God, why does her voice sound so seductive today…] Yuko thought while heat rose up.
Haruna was in her sexy mode. She pressed her body against Yuko’s, earning a weak mumbled by Yuko. She called her name in a very passionate way, and lips were travelling to Yuko’s ear, back to the neck, and up towards the side of her lips.
Lips met and they kissed passionately. Yuko, still in her confused mode, wondering why Haruna was so different today. Yuko took the opportunity to pride open her mouth, slipping her tongue inside. An electrifying feeling ran through both of them, as they deepen the kiss.
Haruna broke the kiss, and nuzzled on the neck of Yuko’s bare skin.
“I~tadakima~su~” saying, Haruna revealed her sharp fangs and sank into the pure white skin. Yuko smirked, already guessed that Haruna was thirsty. [She sure had a way to get my blood…]
Finished satisfying her thirst, Haruna tried to get up but in vain. This time, Yuko took the lead. Their position changed as Yuko was on top of Haruna. Haruna gasped, and Yuko was chuckling lightly at Haruna blushing face. It was so adorable.
“Nyan-nyan… How dare you seduce the great Yuko-sama…” Haruna tried to move her hands but realized that Yuko had pin down so that she could not move. Her heart skipped a beat, seeing that red blazing orbs were peering at her hungrily. What did this sheer power will do to her? Haruna struggled, but only a mocked was heard from Yuko.
“Well, you have to pay for the consequences, nyan-nyan, for seducing me…”
… The groaning and moaning sound was heard from Yuko’s room.

“I’m glad that you’ll be able to accept the mission, Maeda-san.”
“Ah, it is my pleasure. So, what kind of mission do I need to do?” Atsuko slightly bowed her head.
“Well, this mission is a bit dangerous, and needs a bit of acting skills. So, you fit perfectly on this job. Don’t worry, I’ll reward you when you’re done.” The man smiled, crossed his hands.
The man pointed to the corner of the big room. Atsuko turned towards the direction, and saw a vampire was chained heavily, beside him had a big box. The vampire was clearly exhausted, judging from the eyes and the weak body.
“I had some information about the delivery. From the other town of our branch, they said the Rank B was planning something and they will send some stuff over here. And I caught this guy, with a delivery uniform and a big box.”
“And…?”
“Open the box.” The man ordered. Atsuko followed and found that there were bags of tablets inside the box. They were labelled A, AB, O, B and so on.
“What’s all this?”
“This is your mission. Disguise as a delivery girl and investigate what’s this for.”
“What… You want me to sneak into the pureblood mansion? This is insane. There were purebloods! Powerful vampires!!”
“Yes, I know, Maeda-san. I’m sure that with your skills of acting, you’ll succeed in this mission. That’s why I’m giving to this job.”
Atsuko clenched her fist. This was a very dangerous job, and it might lose her life in there. But despite of family’s financial problems, she decided to take this mission. The man smiled, happy for Atsuko’s answer and gave her details. She collected the information, and ready to investigate and disguise into the vampires’ lair.
As for that vampire, he was extinguished right after Atsuko accepted the job.

“Takamina Nee-sama!”
Takamina was reading some books in the library, while Jurina came in with smile on her face. Jurina hugged the midget from the back, making her flinched.
“Ah, Jurina… What’s the matter?”
“I have something for you, nee-sama! I got it from the village where we hunt last ten years ago!”
Takamina looked at her a while, pausing. “What stuff you’ve got?”
Jurina showed the ‘thing’ she mentioned. “Tada! I thought it suites you, so I brought back!” It was a necklace like a puzzled piece. From Takamina’s experience, this necklace looks precious and the puzzle piece was made from marble stones.
“Why thank you, Jurina. That’s very nice of you~” Takamina smiled and wore the necklace.
[Somehow, when I wore this necklace, I felt something… Something very different… and… I had a blurry vision about the past where we used to hunt in the village ten years ago… What was that feeling? Anger? Despair? I really don’t know.]
“Where’s Rena? I hoped that you managed to tame her. Please don’t let her wander again. Father will be very angry if this happens again.” Takamina explained.
“Rena was sleeping soundly in my room, don’t worry. I won’t let this happen again. Rest assure, Nee-sama.” Lips twitched into a smile, Jurina walked away, leaving Takamina in the library alone.
“Hmm,” Jurina thought. “Maybe I should tell father about Mii-chan’s delivery…” Saying, she dashed happily to the third floor, where their father’s room was located.
I will be gone for a while, because I wanted to enter Mayuyu next single illustration contest.
And my study, also. Frustrating!!

6TH Curse: Purebloods
The wind blew. Tree leaves rustled as Acchan slowly pushed the delivery towards the mansion. She took a deep breath, fixing her cap, and prayed that she will come out alive of the lair. Acchan took out a small pill, labeled ‘V.H.A.’. This pill was a great invention of the Vampire Hunter Association because it stops your breath and heart for 30 minutes long. So, Acchan had only 30 minutes to investigate this matter and get out of this mansion.
She gulped, and put the pill right in her mouth. Then, she calmly pushed the delivery, passing through the gate.

“Father! I’m~Back!!” Jurina greeted with a big grin while she dashed into her father’s room. The man, chuckled as he saw her lovely daughter finally came back to his home.
“Ah, good to see you, Jurina.”
“Nee, father. I’ve gone to Mii-chan’s place… and as usual, she invented something for us.” Jurina spoke with a slight of sly tone.
“Hmm, and I suppose?”
“Well, you’ll know when the delivery is here…”
“Sorry to interrupt, Mario-sama and Jurina-sama, but we have a delivery.” A servant, slightly bow when talking to both of them.
“That must be Mii-chan’s delivery! Let her in.” Jurina ordered cheerfully.
“Yes…” The servant bowed once more, and walked out of the room while a delivery was pushed in with a girl wearing a cap. Slowly, she took the box and put on the table.
“You…” Jurina stopped the girl. She was now facing the girl. Acchan just pulled her cap lower, not wanting to expose her identity. Jurina smiled wryly, and started twirling Acchan’s black hair. Jurina smelled her, her cheek slightly contact with Acchan’s. Atsuko could felt the hot breath on her ear. She tried to control her inner panic and scared. “…Good job!” Jurina patted her shoulders and hopped happily to her father’s side.
Atsuko sighed. She was so close from exposing her identity. Surely, entering a purebloods’ lair was not easy and it was nerve-wreaking.
She looked at her watch, 20 minutes left.
Secretly, she stole a pack of pills from the delivery and made her way out of the room, without noticing Jurina’s curious eyes were glaring at her.

“How should I find about these pills?” Acchan mumbled softly as she walked out of the room. Through the hallway, she saw a big door with carved words, ‘Library’. Atsuko thought that maybe it was a good idea for starting her research in a purebloods’ library. Maybe they stored some important information in there.
She slipped into the library quietly. Immediately, she started her hunting journey by flipping those books on the book shelf. Eyes trailing on the book title one by one, shelf by shelf. Atsuko panicked a bit as she realized her time was running out. In her searching world, she did not notice that Jurina was coming in the library.
“I know you’re here.”
The voice echoed through the big spacious room, making Atsuko trembled. She tried to calm herself, but her hands were so shaky until she dropped a book. Orbs dilated with fear while she heard the footsteps were getting closer.
“Un? I heard something…” said Jurina with a sly grin. She walked slowly through the book shelf, searching for her prey. “Playing hide-and-seek, are we?” A small chuckled was heard.
Atsuko gulped as she slowly put down the books. Something caught her eye and it was a very old paper with words on it. Atsuko decided to take it and leave with utmost silence. She slipped the paper into her pocket and pulled her cap as low as ever.
“Come out come out, wherever you are…” Jurina chanted with a mocking tone, grinning.
“1… 2…” Atsuko counted as she saw the silhouette of the pureblood. The door was just a close distance away. “…3…”
In a fast speed, she dashed to the door and slammed it. She kept running.
“Oh, give up already?” Jurina scratched her head as she heard a loud bang. “But, I’ll find you.”
Jurina stepped out of the library and took a deep breath. She could still sense that the girl was still in the mansion. Jurina was sure that this girl was not a vampire, despite her sensitive sense and her experience. But she could not sense her heartbeat. Maybe she had something that could stop her heart from beating, but not too long.
“A human luring in the vampires’ lair, interesting~” Jurina chuckled again, cracking her bone and showed her signature grin.

“Ah~” Takamina yawned. She was just awake by the noises of the door slam. She straightened her sore muscle, walked towards her room door, ready to ask what all the mess was. When she opened her door, a girl knocked her. They both fell onto the ground.
“Ouch… what…” Atsuko growled. Takamina blushed as she noticed their position was in a very wrong way. Atsuko was on top while Takamina was on the floor. Both of Acchan’s hands were beside Takamina’s head. Realizing the situation, Atsuko’s face became so red and she stood up without caring about her pain. Takamina got up too, but did not dare to face Atsuko.
Atsuko looked at her time. The effect of the pill has run out. [I’m dead…]
Something clicked in Takamina’s mind. Why Atsuko was in her house? Before she could ask, she was pulled into her own room. She had another surprise. Acchan slammed her lips against hers. She flinched but felt nostalgic. She had not felt this sweetness and tender of her lips. She missed it so much. While they were kissing passionately, Acchan broke the kiss, making Takamina pouted cutely.
“…I’ll explain later…Minami… but, only you can help me right now.” Said Atsuko with a serious tone. Atsuko explained the situation where Jurina was eyeing her, now was searching for her. Minami nodded and asked her to hide in her closet.
“Takamina-nee-sama?” A loud knock was heard.
“Coming!!” Takamina opened the door, seeing Jurina.
“Hmm… I thought I sense something?”
“Eh..? There’s nothing in my room, Jurina…” said Takamina with a trembling tone. She’s really not good in hiding secrets.
“Really.” Jurina pushed the midget away and stepped into the room. Atsuko gasped as she saw from a closet door that Jurina was fumbling in Takamina’s room.
“Hey, I said there’s nothing! Don’t dare to mess up anything in my room.” Takamina raged as she grabbed Jurina’s collar. Jurina just stared at her, sniffing.
“You have human’s smell on you, nee-sama.”Jurina grinned. “And the smell was so strong when I passed your room.”
Takamina gulped.
Jurina was heading to the closet.
Atsuko was praying that this pureblood will leave her alone.
As her distance was getting closer and closer, Takamina became frantic and can’t think of any idea to distract Jurina from the closet.
Atsuko prayed even more.
Jurina was about the opened the door as she heard loud ruffling of sheets. Slowly, she turned towards the sound and saw something out of her thinking.
Takamina’s eyes widen. How the hell she could get here?
Jurina’s heart melt as she saw a girl was sleeping soundly on the bed.
She squirmed a bit, blinking her eyes. She rubbed her eyes cutely and yawned. She sat up and now Jurina realized that she was wearing a very big shirt, making her more attractive and cute.
“Erm…?” Still rubbing her eyes, she pouted. “Ohayo~Jurina-chan… Why are you here?” Rena asked in a seductive yet cute way.
Jurina stunned. Takamina’s mouth was slight ajar. Atsuko sighed that Rena had save her life.
“Rena? What are you doing in Takamina’s room?”

Blood Curse
7th Curse: The newborn vampire, vampire hunter and the dense pureblood.
She rubbed her neck slowly while narrowing her eyes, focusing on Jurina and Takamina. Rena yawned. She stretched her hands to the air to ease her sore muscle. And then, in a very cute tone, she said, “Ohayou~” She smiled.
Furiously, Jurina grabbed Takamina’s collar and pulled her up until her feet can’t touch the ground. (Well she was short.) Takamina coughed, trying to get out from Jurina’s clutches but it was so strong. Red orbs glared angrily at the midget, making her flinched and somehow felt the fear was crawling up. Takamina gulped and took a peak of Rena, who was peacefully observing her room.
“Tell me, Takamina nee-sama. WHY. IS. RENA. IN. YOUR. ROOM.?” Jurina smiled sarcastically. Takamina could feel the dark aura behind the smile. She gulped again.
“I-I-I-I D-Don’t know! How should I-I know??!!” Takamina protested. She really doesn’t know why Rena was here. She didn’t even know Rena was in her room!
“Oh ho, trying to play with me, hmm? “ Takamina could feel the grips were tightening. She was been lifted up even more higher, making her hard to breath. She coughed, struggling.
“Jurina-chan! It’s not nee-sama’s fault!” Rena pouted.
Immediately, the grips loosen, and Takamina took the opportunity to free herself. Jurina rushed to the bed, hands were on Rena’s shoulder.
“Why are you here Rena? I thought you were sleeping at my room?”
“Hmm…” Rena rubbed her eyes again, still a little sleepy. “I woke up and didn’t see you around, so I just walk out of the room.”
“…… then why you come here?”
“Oh nothing basically. I just walk pass nee-sama’s room and her door was left ajar. So, I took a peek and found out nee-sama was sleeping so cutely. And… I sneak into her bed and cuddled her. She was so cute when she was sleeping, y’know.” Rena giggled a bit.
“… so I’m no match for her, eh?” Jurina mocked herself.
“Oh no,” Rena smiled. “You’re cuter.”
Jurina blushed and looked away.
“Just… don’t run away like that.” Jurina said, still looking away.
“Nee,” Rena called softly, cupping Jurina’s cheek. “Kissu.”
“Eh?” A confused tone was heard from Jurina.
“Kissu.” Rena repeated herself.
“Eh-eh? Ah-ah… kiss chocolate? If you want I c-…”
Her words were swallowed as Rena smashed its lips with hers. The sudden action caused her to open her mouth; instantly a searing tongue entered the cavern, exploring every corner and twirling with her own. The electrifying pleasure overwhelmed all the other senses, even pain, and she found herself responding to the hungry kiss, unconsciously wanting more of this thrilling feeling.
Giving her a playful bite, Rena pulled away, smirking. Her mouth was still tingling, and it felt strangely devoid of warmth. She panted, her face still flushed from both exertion and humiliation.
“Eh… what ---…” Jurina touched her lips, still unable to interpret what was going on.
“Jurina-chan. That’s kissu.” Rena smiled warmly.

While both wMatsui were having their lovey-dovey moments, Takamina already grabbed Atsuko from the closet and ran out of the mansion. Takamina huffed, sitting on the ground and breath heavily as Acchan was a little heavy for her size. Despite Acchan was human, Takamina had to carry her and used her speed to ran out of the mansion without Jurina’s attention.
“Ano… Thank you, Takamina.” She blurted out.
Takamina was too tired to reply. She just waved her hand, still panting.
“…” The atmosphere was awkward. Atsuko and Takamina do not know what to say since they just had a fight.
“… I’m sorry, Takamina.” Acchan suddenly apologize. Takamina kept quiet, not replying. She just stared at the ground.
“… I’m actually a vampire hunter. I hunt your race down. So that’s why we can’t be together. I’m sorry. I didn’t care about your feelings and I just hurt you because I thought vampires were supposed to be cold, cruel and scary. But meting you… I felt different. I wanted to meet you and told you I’m sorry but I just don’t have the courage to do so. I’m really sorry, Takamina. If weren’t you for today, I might end up dying…”
Acchan started to cry. She wanted to stop those tears but in vain. Droplets of tears dripped softly to the ground. Suddenly, Acchan could feel hands were wiping off her tears. Takamina smiled and hugged her tighly. Seeing her beloved Takamina doing so, she burst out crying.
“Shh… It’s ok, Acchan. Everything’s fine…” The midget patted her head gently, calming the crying girl.
“You-r… not-not… mad at me?” Watery eyes looked up, gazed at Takamina.
She just twitched her lips. “Well, you already apologize. Just that, next time promise me not to ignore me or leave my side, then I’ll forgive you.”
Acchan buried her head in Takamina’s embrace, pouting. She muttered a soft ‘fine’, not sure whether Takamina heard it. But right now, she just wanted to let the time freeze, so that she could be with Takamina a little longer.
Actually, Takamina wanted to ask about her presents in the mansion. But then, Acchan was not in her mood, so she decided to keep those questions to herself. She heard her reply and felt a little relieve. She continued patting her head, not wanting to let go of Acchan for the second time.

“Hmm?” Haruna was walking down the pathway as she saw Acchan and Takamina was running hastily out. She was confused. The figure of Acchan seems to remind her of something familiar… But she eventually forgot and continued her wandering.
Something hit her head. She was dizzy and her visions become blurry.
“Eh… what’s…this?” Haruna realized that she was not in the mansion anymore. She was in a village, in a small house. The village was in a mess; there were fires spreading everywhere, the villagers were running aroung, calling for help… She closed her mouth, was shocked to see such horrible images.
“Run! Take our daughter and RUN!! RUN AWAY!!!” A man shouted. He was protecting his family from a unknown species. The human-like species just chuckled while the man asked his wife and her daughter to run.
“Being protective, are you?” Mocked the species.
“Just leave them alone. You can have me but LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!” The man shouted again to the unknown species.
The human-like species chuckled as it shows its sharp razor teeth. The man took a back, but gritting his teeth as he thought about his family’s safety. If his blood could satisfy this monster, then he would be the sacrifices for their safety.
“Eh… Isn’t that… father? FATHER?” Haruna, watching from aside, something clicked in her mind. The man was dead, only the dry corpse was left and monster was smirking after its meal.
The monster turned to find out that both the wife and daughter was gone. But she could still smell their presents in the house.
“Not yet hunt finish?” Another vampire came in, with a ribbon on her head, asking.
“Nah, I still need another human to satisfy my thirst. This man’s blood was too dull to me and maybe the wife or daughter’s blood might good enough for me…” The monster chuckled softly.
“If you want another round, do it fast. We’re almost finished.” The one with a ribbon on her head said, patting its shoulders and vanished out of sight.
“Oh I sure will.” The monster started its hunting journey, by turning the tables, looking under the beds…
And she found out that they were in the closet.
The mother was protecting her daughter. She just showed her clean teeth and giggled.
Haruna noticed she looked alike with this girl. Maybe…
In instants, the mother was killed without a mercy.
The little girl was scared, despite her watery eyes and her whole body was trembling.
“Ah, so… refreshing~” The monster took the last drip of the blood and stared at the little girl. Poor girl, she was so scare of the monster might do the same thing to her like how it treated her parents.
Haruna gasped. She remembered now. No wonder that vampire was so familiar….
The midget vampire leaned down; making the girl hit the closet wall.
She just smiled. Orange orbs met deep brown.
Unable to think, the little girl used all her might to push away the vampire and ran out of the house. She ran towards the woods, hoping the vampire will leave her alone.
The vampire just stayed there, watching the innocent girl running towards the woods.
Haruna clutched her fist, gritting her teeth. It was her. She was the one who killed her parents 10 years ago.
“Hey Yuko, are you finish? We’re done, y’know!”

Haruna blinked.
She stared at the white ceiling with her blank thoughts.
Pieces of fragments memories played once again in a head, making her groaned.
“Are you ok, nyan-nyan?” A soft voice was heard. It was Yuko.
Haruna sat up, only to be found she was on Yuko’s bed. She kept quiet, and didn’t even make eye contact with Yuko. She just looked down.
“You collapse, nyan-nyan. In the hallway just now. So, are you really ok? Do you need something?” asked Yuko in a gentle tone, observing Haruna’s weird movements.
Haruna gritted her teeth. She raised up her hand and…
SMACK
Yuko was taken aback by the slap. Why does Haruna slapped her? What did she do?
“This.” Haruna cleared her voice, trying to hide her trembling tone. “…Is the revenge that you’ve done 10 years ago.”

8th curse: Is it worth?
Atsuko threw a packet of pills on the large and grand table. The man smiled at Acchan’s hard work while she thrust forward, glaring at him.
“I’ve done my job. Now I’m here to claim my reward.” Atsuko said.
“Hmm… basically half, Maeda-san. You’ve just stole a packet of pills. But then, you risked your life. Well done I suppose.” The man took out a bag of gold from the drawer, handed to Acchan.
“Oh, about the pills, I heard that it was from other town… Someone, I mean, some vampire invented it…” She packed her things and walked until the corridor. She stopped her movements and walked back when she heard a fuzzing sound from the man.
“…Miyamoto…” There was a loud buzzing with unclear words. But Acchan was sure she heard the word ‘Miyamoto’.
“Hello, Kija-san, can you hear me? Hello? Is there anything happening there?” The man shouted to the phone, still the fuzzing sound was loud.
“ *buzz* I…*buzz* n*buzz* need--- help… *buzz* in….Miyamoto area…*buzz* there’s a vampire…*buzz* strong…*buzz*…not Rank E… *suspicious….*buzz* …pureblood…*buzz* uncontrollable… attack me… *buzz* help…”
Acchan slumped down. Miyamoto area was where she’d live, and now it’s under attack by vampires? And it’s not Rank E either. Her mother must be in danger! She clenched her fist, stood up and turned around. She checked her equipment; silver dagger and a gun with some silver bullet. She walked out of the room, heading towards Miyamoto area, praying her mother will be safe and nothing happens at her home.

Her prayers were unanswered.
Her house was in a messed. There were blood stains on the walls; scratches and broken furniture were everywhere. Acchan became worried for her mother. Did her mother managed to escape? She ran to the kitchen and saw a gruesome sight.
Her mother was lying dryly on the floor.
A vampire was licking her lips, smirking at her poor prey. It started giggled high-pitched as she asked, “Nee, okotteru?”
“Of course I am!”
Atsuko shrilled as she pointed the gun towards the monster. Her face was covered with tears and anger at the same time. Tears; she’d lost her one and only relative. Anger; how she wanted to kill and tore apart this monster that had just devoured her mother’s blood. Acchan fired aimlessly as tears kept running down her face, not knowing the monster rapidly dodged her bullets. The vampire laughed.
“Nee,” Rena swiftly moved beside Acchan, whispered, “how do you do?”
Acchan turned around, grasping her dagger, trying to stab but missed. That vampire was quick. Rena landed on the floor, not far from her. Lips twitched into a smile.
“Didn’t know that it’s someone you knew.” Rena licked her lips, not a single regret was given. This made Acchan even mad. “I was hungry, so I had a quick snack.” She giggled.
“And, I’m still not done yet, Maeda Atsuko.” Rena chuckled lightly, revealing her pearly white teeth. Acchan was shocked; How did she know her name?
“So,” Rena moved behind Acchan, kicked her back, making her fell to the ground hardly. The silver dagger let loose of her grip, it slipped away. Acchan groan as she felt something heavy was on her back. “I need blood, Atsuko. Blood. I might have you as my next prey, hmm?” She lifted up her boots, squatted down in front of Acchan, staring at her face.
“Might as well not…” Rena smiled as she cupped Acchan’s cheek softly, observing her innocent yet angry expression. “Now, Atsuko-san, because killing you instantly will be no fun, and because you stabbed my back before, so I shall give you some choices. Be wise to choose…” She chuckled and her fangs were showed.
“First choice, despite your beauty, let’s have a trade. I’ll make you immortal, while you let me suck half of your blood, how’s that sound?”
Groaned. She tried to get up but felt Rena’s grip was tightening.
“Second, I’ll just suck off your blood. Simple.” Rena licked her lips, grinning. “So Atsuko-san, which one did you choose? The first or second?”
“How about,” Acchan gulped, smiling. “The third!” Grabbing her gun, she aimed at Rena’s arm and fired. The monster growled in agony as Acchan managed to stand, pointing the gun to her head. Rena smirked eerily, cause Acchan trembled a little.
“Don’t move or I’ll penetrate this silver bullet to your head.” Acchan said in a stern voice.
The vampire just glared at Acchan, not saying anything but smiled. Her arm was likely recovered in seconds after being shot.
“I’m not a normal vampire, Atsuko-san. I’m a pureblood. Silver bullets do have effect on us but short for purebloods.” That sent a chill to Acchan’s spine. Her hands were shaking, due to the fear mutating inside her.
Rena touched Acchan’s hand. Icy fingers grazed through her hands making Acchan dropped her gun suddenly. The grasp became weak and she didn’t know why. Rena smiled. She stood up, glaring at Acchan with bright red orbs.
“Any last words, Maeda-san?” Rena chuckled as she pulled herself closer to Atsuko’s neck, nuzzled playfully before showing its pearly white fangs.
“…Taka…mina…” Atsuko could only manage to blurt out her name. She was weak, after all. She can’t protect her only friend and her only relative. And now, she will have to share the same fate as her friends and relatives; to die in the hands of the vampires.
Atsuko closed her eyes as she felt prickling sense on her neck. She hoped that Takamina will burst inside the room and save her…
…And Takamina did.
“Rena, stop what you’re doing right now!”
Rena stopped her movement after hearing a familiar voice. She pulled herself away, turning to find the source of the voice. Jurina stood in front of her with an angry face. This made Rena jolted and stunned. She knew what will happen when Jurina got angry. Rena remained silence and let Jurina pulled her to other place, leaving Takamina and Acchan in the house. Before leaving, Jurina patted Takamina’s shoulder and nodded.
“Good luck.” In a moment, they both vanished.
Takamina immediately hugged Acchan tightly. The wound on her neck was still there and was oozing blood. “I… was scare… very scare… Takamina…” Tears rolled out, trailing her face.
“Shh… don’t cry. I’m here, isn’t it?” Takamina wiped Acchan’s tears away while patting her back gently. “Looks like Rena managed to cut your skin out, right?” Without waiting Atsuko’s answer, she leaned down and licked over the wound. The cut was healed in a second.
“Your blood could make me go crazy, ya know…” Takamina covered her mouth, looking away. Acchan smiled at Takamina. “If it’s Takamina, you can have as much blood as you want!”
“Ehh…then you’ll get amnesia.”
“Never mind as long you’re by my side.”
“Seriously? Can I have it?”
“Nope.”
“Ehh? You’re joking?”
“Yup” Acchan grinned.
“you little-…” Takamina pinched her nose gently, earning a small groan from Acchan. Suddenly, Acchan pulled the midget into her embrace.
“Just…” Takamina could feel the grip tighten. “Please be on my side… and protect me…Takamina.”
The midget gave a small nodded. “I will,” She tilted her head, and met her lips. “I always will.”

The sting stuck on her face, burning hotly as she stared dumbly at the furious girl. What did she do wrong until Haruna slapped her?
The glare suddenly softened, followed by trails of tears sliding down the tall girl’s face. Yuko jolted out, unable to keep up her pace. “Nyan-nyan?” Yuko tried to get close to her but her hand was smacked by her.
“Don’t touch me, you murderer!!”
Haruna backed off and sent a deadly glare to her. Yuko was upset and confused. What did she do? What did she do until Haruna treated her this way? “Haruna…”
She trailed off, calling her name softly. Gently, she touched Haruna’s hands that made Haruna flinched. The tall girl tried to pulled away but the grip was tighten.
“What did I do to deserve all this, Haruna?” Calm and serious tone with hint of sadness.
“… Don’t act like you don’t know, Yuko.”
“I really have no memories of doing something that pissed you like this…”
“Don’t act a fool! Surely you knew it!!” Haruna raged. The grip tighten. Yuko squeezed her eyebrow, trying to think.
“Nope, I don’t. Would you mind telling?”
“YOU MONSTER! YOU KILLED MY PARENTS IN FRONT OF MY EYES YET YOU SAID YOU CAN’T REMEMBER ANYTHING??!!” This time, Haruna pulled away her hand from Yuko’s clutches. Tears immediately gushed out as she hurled into a ball.
“I…” Yuko stopped. “You are the girl ten years back, from the village.”
“…” Haruna’s back was facing her. Not wanting to give an answer, she kept silence.
“I’m really sorry for that incident.” Yuko scratched her head. “I didn’t mean too, I was hungry(thirsty) so I…”
“Why don’t you kill me along? Why you let me go in the first place? Why DO YOU WANT ME TO LIVE IN AGONY??!!!” Haruna grabbed Yuko’s collar, eyes became bright red, as she gritted her teeth. “Do you know how hard a little girl to live on without parents?! Do you know how hard is to live with others, especially when they thought I’ve might become one of the monster since I live on??!! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD MY LIFE IS SINCE THE RAID OF VAMPIRES?!!!!! NO. YOU DON’T. YOU JUST CARE ABOUT YOUR THIRST, THAT’S ALL!!! You didn’t care about the victims that live on. I had to move in with Acchan and her parents, which they quarantine me like I have some kind of disease after that raid. Only Acchan treated me well, the rest treated me like I’m ONE OF YOU!! I live in fear, frustration and desperation, Yuko. You don’t understand. You will never understand…” Her words trailed off as tears came back running pass her face. She cried, losing her grip on Yuko’s collar.
“Leave, Yuko… Leave.” She uttered with an upset tone.
“…” Yuko was stunned. She did not know that the raid ten years back affected somebody as deep as this. Not knowing what to do, she stood there, clenching her fist tightly.
Yuko ran to Haruna and hugged her. She flinched, tried to push Yuko away but Yuko was not giving in. Instead, she patted Haruna’s head gently, calming her down. As her sob getting softer, she leaned on Haruna’s shoulder, turned to the ear, whispering.
“I’m sorry for what I’ve done, Haruna. I’m sorry for letting you live in such way. I’m sorry for everything.” Yuko wiped away her tears, smiling wryly.
“…Yuko…” The midget kissed her so tenderly that Haruna felt her own eyes dampen at the surge of unidentifiable emotions of this simple act.
Her heart was pounding so hard.
“I’ll lead you to a better life, Haruna.” Yuko grinned as her dimple showed off.

“What, did you say, ‘Acchan’” Yuko asked curiously as she sipped her tea.
“Ah, yup. Acchan is my best friend. But since the night I’ve met you, I did not met her anymore.”
“Hmm…” putting down her cup of tea, she thought of THAT Acchan of Takamina’s. Maybe it was her.
“Yuko-sama?” Giving a curious look, Yuko turned to her, lips curved into a smile.
“I know where Acchan is, do you want to meet her?” Yuko gave a playful smile.
“Really? I’m in!!” Haruna became exited at Yuko’s words. But the problem is, Yuko heard that Rena was in that area, probably hunting. She hoped that Acchan is safe from Rena as Rena would smash anything in its way when she was on hunt.
“Come on, Let’s go meet Acchan.”
