I don't think one game will convince the average MLB fan but you never know. Trust me: Chase Utley is THE BEST PLAYER ON THE PHILLIES.
Joe Girardi is shuffling the lineup, hoping that Molina can "call" a good game for Burnett. Also Swisher is being benched in right for Junior Hairston. Not sure it's a good time to play micro-percentages in the World Series, Joe.
And a couple things on C. Lee:
-- Yanks said they were going to dictate the pace of the game, e.g. stall and/or upset Lee's brisk rhythm on the mound. Didn't look like they were stepping out of the box a lot or anything. Lee was zipping along like usual.
-- Bill James said that one of the ways you can pinpoint a good southpaw is his grace on the mound (and a good fastball). Look at Lee's motion, so fluid and efficient.
