It was announced today on the official Hello!Project website that °C-ute member Arihara Kanna would be leaving H!P

We would like to announce that Arihara Kanna is leaving °C-ute and Hello!Project as of 09.07.2009. Arihara worked hard after she joined Hello!Project in the 2004 audition, joined °C-ute in 2006, and as their member, she had a major debut the year after.

As you know, she stopped appearing on the stage since February this year, due to the bunion, and now she has decided to leave °C-ute and Hello!Project and return back to the life of a normal girl.

We are very sorry to bring such unexpected news, but we hope you will keep supporting °C-ute in the future.

well... somehow it was obvious that this would happen... but Kanna was never my favourite and °C-ute is doing fine with 6 member so it doesn´t matter

Kanna... My favorite H!P kid...Wow.

I can't say I'm...surprised that this is happening, since she's been gone for a while..but I am pretty upset.
C-ute doesn't feel right to me anymore. As much as I love them, they will always be 7nin in my heart. No one can replace you, Kanna! Ganbatte!

If you think that by ºC-ute doing the chicken dance in Bye bye bye! there are then...

, still Tsunku would have allowed THAT dance with our without Kanna

Anyway, she was becoming a liability if we think about it. Normally her condition would have take her at least a year to heal (remember that her operation was a complete reconstruction of her feet) without rehabilitation.

Though, I think ºC-ute needs a new Egg

I'm sad to say I was expecting it too. The fact alone that her whole "bunion" thing was only supposed to keep her out for 2 months at the most, and here it's been twice that...yeah, not really surprising. It IS, however, majorly weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeak.

I am not surprised... Honestly...
But damn it took a long time, I thought it would a happened right after bye bye bye,
well we will have a lack of bitchface in c-ute, which can be sad.

But, I think C-ute might be a sinking ship anyways.
