i have been messing around with doing screencaps from .ts files and found so fat that vlc seems to work the best, but it's a work in progress.
this is what i have so far:

I sometimes use VLC but I think they come out interlaced even if you're using a deinterlacing filter. I use MPC if I want interlaced screenshots. However, they don't come out as clear due to whichever deinterlacing filter I use. My MPC also used to grab the wrong aspect ratio but I somehow fixed it by messing around with the settings.
