watched the 1st episode and I was thinking with a little tweak on the story this series can fit the "alternate universe" of MG better than cabasuka--it can even go along with MG4's storyline... well, that's just me :bigdeal:

Yeah. "Save the school again. Wrestling Let's Go!" didn't happen. :lol:

But it might be for the better. They pretty much killed the characters in MG5. Then reset them in Cabasuka. Don't know how less related they can get from that.
As much as I want MG4 charas using their special traits in the ring, new characters can be refreshing too. :)

my rough idea is to use the so-called alternate universe as a way to bring most characters back... so, continuing from where MG4 ended, salt left majijo top to sakura while she, out of her constant boredom start roaming the street just like maeda--minus the "eating sakura petals after beating yakuza's lackeys" scenes of course...

after sometimes without news about salt's whereabouts, the girls started to look for her... then in one occasion during the search, sakura stumbled upon certain tofu shop+wrestling dojo and saw her dad there... after some flashbacks and explanations about why he left her and her mom and how he ended in that tofu shop+dojo, sakura went back to majijo only to found out that the school is in a pinch...

when they're busy racking their brains out, comes the challenge from an unknown school--let's throw the girls from sakamichi into the mix here... the challenge was not a one on one fight or whole school open war but wrestling match in some underground ring--which of course they accept

sakura then took the girls from majijo to her dad's place to start training in pro wrestler's way... after some matches, it was revealed that salt was being held as captive by the owner of that underground ring which also the backer of the school that challenged majijo and the one who want to take over the tofu dojo and put majijo in pinch...

there, now we got :
save salt √
save the school √
save the dojo √
win the challenge √ (?)
 objectives....

and before some hardcore fans of the oh-so-awesome salt throw their protest and going rampage because I make her as a captive, let's refresh our memories to the previous seasons
MG1 : Yuko got terminally ill
MG2 : Maeda got arrested by cops
MG3 : J (Nobunaga) being isolated
MG4 : Otabe "lost" her smart/genius(?) trait
MG5 : almost all characters dead--with salt being the 1st one who died
so why can't we let her being a captive?

then again, it's just me and my unreasonably stupid idea :bigdeal:

Because honestly, I can only see it ending in a stand-off, since Yuami is an energetic acrobat and Akarin is basically made of jelly. lol

The Sakura/Jurina fight turned out kinda underwhelming. The attacks looked weak, kinda like they forgot to add the impact sound/camera effects to it.
