Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in OSLO!

Not quite sure how many of you actually follow this, but yeah, it's that time of the year again! Whether you watch Eurovision for the music, the camp costumes, or to play drinking games with your buddies, let's join in and discuss the acts!

The final can be followed online at the official Eurovision site here (from 9pm CET, 29th of May), you need a plugin, but it's available for all operating systems, so that shouldn't be a problem!

Here is the Norwegian act. I've had the pleasure of seeing him perform this song live, and while the song may be a bit boring, his voice really blew me away *o* His English has been a running joke over here in Norway, though. When he won the national final, he literally did sing "My hard is yours" (evidence in video below xD). They made him take pronunciation classes to fix this before tonight's international final Will be interesting to see if he's managed to change his pronunciation :p



I really like it, but I don't think it's a winner (hosting Eurovision two years in a row wouldn't have been much fun anyway, lol).

AND OH MY GOD, let's all just forget about Alexander Rybak and his Fairytale now please. So, so, so sick and tired of that song, aaaah

AWESOME!!! it was fun watching, I remember during our drunk TV watching with the guys - we were laughing at the Finnish entry.

I think Germany and Iceland are my favourite songs. Though the German songs feel too "normal", if that makes sense. It's the kind of song I actually like, which obviously means it's wrong for Eurovision ;

Lena is probably the best artist "we" have at the eurovision song contest since I know it~
But yeah, she's probably not having a fancy show and her "dancing" etc. might not be liked by everyone

Way too many ballads this year :/ Boring! But I guess it'll make the voting more exciting, since there aren't that many potential winners! (in my way of thinking anyway) xD;;;

Russia's entry was really, really interesting this year. Appearing more like a Mighty Boosh skit than a Eurovision entry xD;

I think either Germany or Iceland will win, though France and Moldova are good contenders too.

Country reps and vote giving is the best part about Eurovision! I miss the good old days when the differences between the countries were more noticeable, though. Horrible lag, and awkward weird fashion. It was awesome

I laugh at how people here in the UK complain about other countries not voting for us but did you hear this year's entry? Absolute crap UK only did well last year cause they got Jade Ewen on it
