HKT48's event 'HKT48 Sashihara Rino Zachou Kouen' will begin in April at Meiji Theater.

On February 22, HKT48 held a handshake event to commemorate the release of their single "Sakura, Minna de Tabeta" at Pacifico Yokohama. During this event, it was announced that HKT48 will be the first female idol group to perform at Meiji Theater. The performance will feature appearances by Sashihara Rino and members who pass an audition. The performance dates, as well as ticket details will be revealed through the group's official website at a later date.

Digest video for HKT48's Taipei & Hong Kong lives revealed
April 12, 2015

HKT48 has revealed the digest video for their live DVD / Blu-ray 'HKT48 Zenkoku Tour ~Zenkoku Touitsu Owattoranken~ Bangaihen in Taipei & Hong Kong' which will go on sale on April 14th.

The DVD / Blu-ray features the group's concerts at ATT SHOW BOX in Taipei and Macpherson Stadium in Hong Kong in December and January. In the digest video, you can see footage from the concert, as well as off-shot footage which will be included as a bonus.

The release date for NMB48 and HKT48's documentary films, tentatively titled "DOCUMENTARY of NMB48" and "DOCUMENTARY of HKT48", has been postponed. Both films are now scheduled to open in theaters on January 29, 2016.

NMB48 and HKT48's documentary films are currently in the making. The release date was postponed as they wished to create films of even higher quality. HKT48's documentary film will be directed by Sashihara Rino, while NMB48's documentary film will be directed by film director Funahashi Atsushi.
