Oshima Yuko to make her stage acting debut.

Oshima will play one of the roles in a two-person stage show. "She's a woman who is burdened with life. A rather crazy role."

Although Oshima was aware that she was offered to act on stage, she didn't know the details of it. "What? Only two people? But I'm still a [stage] virgin," she hesitated, but seeing that Suzuki was determined to get her to accept the offer, she responded, "I will make my decision before the show is over."

Oshima waited until the very end of the show to give her reply. Finally, she announced, "I, Oshima Yuko, will give my stage virginity to Suzuki Osamu-san."

In all honesty, even though she's co-hosting it, I'm finding this show to have very little "Yuko content" for my liking. As such, I'm not going to post any more eps here unless Yuko actually gets to DO stuff like how the featured guests get to do, rather than just be stuck in the studio, watching and commenting on other people going places/doing stuff.

Remember when I said that I wouldn't post any WOTP eps unless they actually let Yuko go somewhere?

She ended on a positive note, "Thank you so much for reading my heart, 'Yuurari Yuko', a place that is packed with many memories! Now, progress progress!"

Yuko won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 39th Hochi Movie Awards for her role in Kami no Tsuki in which she was cast as a bank teller.

Yuko will star in Zeni no Sensou (War of Money), a remake of 2007 Korean drama, JJeonui Jeonjaeng alongside SMAP's Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (as Shiraishi Tomio) and Kimura Fumino (as Aoike Kozue). This will be her first role since her graduation. She will play Konno Mio, the daughter of Tomio’s former high school teacher. It is scheduled to air every Tuesday starting January 6 next year.

Oshima Yuko will star TBS upcoming TV drama "YAMEGOKU"

The upcoming TBS TV drama "YAMEGOKU ~ YAKUZA yamete itadakimasu~" (ヤメゴク～ヤクザやめて頂きます～) will feature former AKB48 top member Oshima Yuko (大島優子), in the TV drama, Oshima Yuko will be cast as a hard and cold policewoman "永光麦秋". The TV drama will be broadcast in April 2015.
YAMEGOKU's story is about a Japanese Police hotline department which helps crime gang members to leave organization, the department would negotiate with those crime gang members' organization, protect crime gang members and introduce those members to a normal job.

damn yuko.

ever since her graduation, i've been moving on to the newer generations and found out that akb group has lots of idolable new comers.

but, then i watched some of yuko's performance... ...nobody even close to yuko, in terms of performance. oh how i miss her passion in dancing and performing. sayanee-chan is quite good, but yuko was perfect.
