Ito Raira announces graduation from HKT48

HKT48 Team KIV member Ito Raira (伊藤来笑) announced her graduation from HKT48 in LIVE performance at 17 January 2016.

Ito Raira said she wants to focus on her English language study, and she also said she wants to study abroad to meet more people, and her dream is to promote Japanese Idol Culture to the world.

Ito Raira's graduation LIVE will be held on HKT48 theater at 29 February 2016 (18:30).

Kobayashi Kana announces Graduation at RH 2016

AKB48 Team B member Kobayashi Kana (小林香菜) announced her graduation from AKB48 on event "AKB48 solo Request Hour 2016" (Day Night) 17 January 2016.

Kobayashi Kana is 2nd generation member, joined AKB48 as a Team K member in 2006, and then was transferred to Team B in 2009's Team Shuffle. In 2015 she was transferred to Team K in Tokyo Dome Team Shuffle on on August 24, 2012, and transferred back to Team B in AKB48 Spring Shuffle 2015 on on March 26, 2015.

Umemoto Madoka announces Graduation

SKE48 Team E member Umemoto Madoka (梅本まどか) announced her graduation on SKE48 Theater at 3 February 2016.

Umemoto Madoka joined SKE48 as Research Students in 2010, and on the same year Team E was form, she was promoted to be leader of the team. To focus on SKE48 activities, she decided to quit the university in 2011. Matsui Rena was appoint to be Team E leader to replace her position in 2013. Suda Akari was appointed to be Team E leader, and Umemoto Madoka was appointed be co-leader in 2014.

Kurokawa Hazuki ceases all activities temporarily

NMB48 Team BII member Kurokawa Hazuki (黒川葉月) made an announcement during LIVE performance at 3 February 2016, she announced will temporarily cease all activities with the group.

Nakagawa Haruka announces Graduation from JKT48

JKT48 Team T member Nakagawa Haruka (仲川遥香) announced her graduation from JKT48 and AKB48 group in JKT48 Request Hour 2016 on 28 February 2016.

According to AKB48 group general manager Kayano Shinobu (茅野しのぶ), Nakagawa Haruka will stay until end of the year, but she will not return to Japan, and will start her next career in Indonesia after graduation.

5 NMB48 members could not attend upcoming LIVE due to poor health condition, only 15 members performed Team N LIVE performance on 8 March 2016.

NMB48 members Ishida Yuumi (石田優美), Morita Ayaka (森田彩花), Akashi Natsuko (明石奈津子), Kushiro Rina (久代梨奈) and Hongo Yuzuha (本郷柚巴 ) could not attend attend Team N LIVE performance on 8 March 2016 (18:30).

On the other hand, one more HKT48 member is diagnosed with Influenza type B infected, HKT48 member Tsutusi Riko (筒井莉子) will not participate upcoming LIVE performance LIVE on 9 March 2016 and 2-shot event on 13 March 2016.

Ishida Haruka announces Graduation

AKB48 Team K member Ishida Haruka (石田晴香) announced her graduation from AKB48 during LIVE performance on 30 March 2016.

Ishida Haruka explained to fans she had thought about graduation for a long time, but AKB48 is a happy place to her, because there are many good fellows, so she just allowed herself to stay. Ishida Haruka also said she feels sorry not staying for 10 years.

Ishida Haruka is a member of AKB48's Team K, she joined AKB48 in 2007, and became 5th generation research student, she was officially promoted to Team B in 2010 (announced in 2009), and transferred to Team K in 2014.

HKT48 to donate ALL NEW Theatre OPEN Special LIVE ticket revenue to charity

It was announced HKT48 will donate all their new Theatre OPEN Special LIVE ticket revenue and storage manage fee to Japanese Red Cross Society.

HKT48 NEW Theatre OPEN Special LIVE (HKT48劇場移転・リニューアルOPEN特別公演) will be held in their new Tenjin theatre on 28 April 2016 (18:30 JST).
The new HKT48 Theater will be located in 6/F., Tenjin Nishitetsu Hall (天神・西鉄ホール), Tenjin Area, the capacity is up to 286 people. The location is closer to HKT48 official shop and cafe.

88th Drama Academy Awards have been revealed. The Best Drams Song is AKB48 42nd c/w song "365 nichi no kamihikouki".

Note 1: "365 nichi no kamihikouki" is theme song for the NHK dorama "Asa ga Kita"

Maeda Ami announces Graduation

AKB48 Team A member Maeda Ami (前田亜美) announced her Graduation in AKB48 Theater on 2 June 2016.

Maeda Ami announced her Graduation from AKB48 During her Birthday Live ceremony, she explains it is because she feels the generation change and she need to work harder, though she feels sorry she is never a selection members (Note: I guess she means General Election).

While she considered graduation, idol is not what she dreams of, she wants to be an actress from the very beginning. At the time of age 21, she wants to restarts, she does what she wants to do, therefore she decides to graduate.

Maeda Ami is a 7th generation member, she made her debut in 2008.
