according to this article, Yuriko is currently the highest paid actress for Japanese dorama, getting almost 30k yen per series. pretty impressive, and well deserved imo, prolly one of the best young actresses in the country.

Actress Yoshitaka Yuriko is going to star in the new commercials for the Japanese fashion label ‘United Arrows green label relaxing‘, where she’ll recite well-known lines from some classic TV dramas.

The label’s new PR campaign has the title ‘Koisuru Label‘ and features Yoshitaka quietly standing on the platform of a small train station. While waiting for her train, she can’t contain her feelings for her boyfriend and her longing to see him. Those feelings eventually become too much for her and she suddenly shouts, “I promise, that in 50 years from now, I will love you as much as I do now“. Startled, the fellow passengers at the station ask her, “Is everything okay?”

Said line should sound familiar to all drama fans, because it’s THE unforgettable line from the very popular drama “The 101st Proposal” (Fuji TV – 1991), starring Takeda Tetsuya and Asano Atsuko.

In another version of the commercial, Yoshitaka quotes the most popular line from the drama “Beautiful Life” (TBS – 2000), which starred Tokiwa Takako and Kimura Takuya, while holding a baked sweet potato in her hand: “Meeting you made my life shine as if it was sprinkled by stardust“. In order not to cause unnecessary confusion, she quickly tells the man who is selling the sweet potatoes that this message wasn’t directed at him.

‘United Arrows’ also launched a campaign website, which introduces various power spots throughout Japan, that are known for their magical power in relation to love and marriage.

I think I will be killed by the person Yuriko is with, because I don't quite recognize her....she is pretty short, is it Miki Fujimoto????
