This week's recipe:
Jello Cake!

You need:
1 box jello (we used strawberry, but anything will work)
1 box white cake mix
Cool whip (or frosting, but it's -super- sweet)
A fork
Water
Cake pan
measuring cup for water

Dissolve jello in 3/4 c boiling water. Add 1/2c cold water and set
aside at room temp.

Mix and bake cake as directed in whatever pan/s you normally use to bake a cake. A 9 x 13 works well. Cool 20-25 mins. Poke
holes in cake with fork, about 1 1/2 inches apart. With cup,
slowly pour jello mixture into holes.

Refrigerate cake for 2-3 hours. Dump it out onto a plate and frost with your topping of choice. If it doesn't come out of the pan easily, stick it back in the fridge for another 1-2 hours. After frosting, refrigerate again for 1-3 hours. Eat. Enjoy. ^_^

Oh man, I wasn't even listening to the radio show most of the time during the talk segments, because the show lagged on my computer, so it would throw me off when I had to say something hahaha.

Hopefully it didn't turn out too badly though x_x I thought it was.. er... good. hahaha. *downloads*  Oh and the date of the show is supposed to be the 6th, if you download it, just make sure and change the date ^^;;

That strawberry icecream in a bowl keychain is really adorable btw. Makes me want to write in and ask the hosts questions. But then I couldn't co-host... or well... it'd be weird asking yourself your own questions. That'd only be if they made it on the air though.

Edit: Oh man, I just listened to it, and my microphone was so crappy hahaha... x_x... And during the part where we talked about Ichigo Kaisei's new single and stuff, there just silence most of the time. All I picked up was Shellys little bits here and there, and there was no Tris lol, and my mic was really really really quiet.

Jello cake is delicious, I swear. My mom makes it at christmas. I ask for it on my birthday...it's like...sweet and fruity, but not -too- sweet. Really good stuff.

This week's recipe:
Mini turnovers!

2    folded refrigerated unbaked pie crusts    
all-purpose flour    
1/2    cup strawberry pie filling or cherry pie filling or blueberry pie filling or peach pie filling    
water    
ice cream or whipped dessert topping, if you like    
4 servings 4 turnovers
45 minutes 25 mins prep

Turn on oven to 375 degrees. Open the package of piecrusts and remove 1 crust (save the remaining crust for another use). On a lightly floured surface, unfold piecrust following package directions. Use a knife and something large to trace around (a small dish is good for this) and cut piecrust into 4 wedges/circles/whatever.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons pie filling into center of each pastry wedge.
Use a pastry brush and a little water to moisten edges of pastry. Fold one straight side of one wedge over filling to the other straight side to form a smaller wedge. Press edges together with tines of a fork to seal. Prick top with fork. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining wedges, and pie filling.
Place baking sheet in oven. Bake about 20 minutes or until pastry is golden. Turn off oven. Use hot pads to remove baking sheet from oven. Use a pancake turner to transfer turnovers to a cooling rack. Serve warm turnovers with ice cream or cool whip or whatever, if you like.
