Q'ulle(キュール) is a five member idol group created after the disbandment of the old group, Danceroid, in 2014. They released their major debut single, "Mic check one two", on January 2015.

I guess then it's okay to post this vid of Manako doing the Youkai Watch dance here?

Here's their official website too: http://qulle.net/ (http://qulle.net/)

Based on what little I have seen (never followed DANCEROID), I like Yakko.

And the location at the end of the video is right outside the Budokan?

Looks like it will only be online for today.

I still don't get why someone would wear jeans to the beach. :smhid

For "fashion". A lot of Japanese women also wear heels (the big blocky ones) to the beach, which makes no sense either.

Hmm . . . this actually sounds pretty good. Ugh Japan, why must you take so much of my money?

I need to stop using $1000+ a month on idol stuff

However I did manage NOT buying their singles because they were kinda expensive but then again they have live footage so I might get them eventually!

Yeah I strictly limit myself to album purchases only. The main tracks on the singles usually end up on the album anyway. Sure I'm probably going to miss some stuff, but I don't have money to burn like that . . .

New video.

(seems like they did many of the shots for their videos at the same time).

If this came out before "Heart Beat" released, I would have bought it for sure!

After having had the album for a while I'm going to say it's the album of the year for me, I don't see anyone topping it.

They incorporate many different styles in a seamless way, not just for breakdowns/effects like say Passcode/old Babymental. And I love Manako's voice it's very distinct.

I got the LE version and it has all the videos and dance versions (I think they are all on their youtube) + a live performance and some small bits.

From the live I will say they sing as well as on the cd but the dancing doesn't seem to be as good as the videos, I would have thought it would be the other way around.

For the small bits the highlight for me was Manako doing an acoustic version of Oni where she sings and plays guitar.

Danceroid sucked but Q`ulle is legit. I liked their album a lot too, this year`s comparable of Hime Kyun`s Dengeki Princess.

I won`t say it`s the album of the year for me though I totally see it making at least a top 3.

Yeah it was probably a bit premature of me to say that, I thought really hard about who could top it and I couldn't think of anyone... but I guess of the groups I like Babyraids will probably be a contender (I assume they will release an album).

Huh? I guess isn't very good then since you said this about the hime kyun ;)

zombies is so cliché. didn't like the music that much neither. but since they are on a streak of great releases, I'll give them time. maybe the besides win me over.

Anyways the new song is great.

rofl nothing that the time doesn`t change. after hearing it more times the music already grew on me. specially when I dissociate it from the uninspired music video.  :)

Q'ulle Asia Tour Promo video, I like the song at the end of this better than the one in the latest music video.

I appreciate their efforts in making something different. one song is a heavier rock than their usual and the other, the opposite, basically a dance pop. no one sticks out so much for me now but I wanna buy the single and hear it more before really judging. (yeah I learned from previous experience) and I liked the clips, cd art and new visuals. I'd be more excited (and invested) with the group if they appeared more. it's ridiculous how fucking hard is to see them. never appear on idol festivals, have onemans very sparsely through the year and just a few select release events for their singles. the production value of the group is top notch so I can't comprehend why they don't cash more on the group because I'm almost sure that this way, making three or four appearances monthly, they are only having financial losses. that official fanclub must be HUGE and I'm not aware of it... I do know they have some special events fanclub limited, that are not even announced openly on their site or twitter for everyone.  :huhuh

They are releasing the O-East performance on DVD (as expected) here is a preview.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY1QL-zDPbU

Doesn't sound quite as bad as I experienced it, but I don't think it sounds right with a live band (pretty much every other group would).

maybe it`s just me but the instruments sound too loud which made the girls start shouting instead of singing, so the result was that seen on the video. from the little I could see, the songs were basically butchered.  :sweatdrop:
