My first ranking in just a little over a year. Some changes have definitely taken place!
As always, made with

Notes, etc:
-I still don't really count kennins unless I think they matter. I'm pretty sure I ignored all of them this year. Well, except Miyazawa Sae, but I don't get why she's still considered SNH anyway.
- My AKB interests have changed drastically. A lot of my really high ranking members from other groups were transferred to AKB48, a lot of great new members arrived on the scene, and focus on existing members has shifted. Mukaichi Mion has the hugest gain out of anyone in all of my rankings, and I only see her going up. She's great on TV, in PV's, in the magazines... I just love her. Kashiwagi retains the oshi spot, even though she feels very absent from AKB48 this year. Still, the time she has shown up, she's still the best. This ranking is the most interesting to me. It really is a new AKB48.
- My SKE rankings are much more stable. The transfers shook things up a tiny but, but everything else is largely the same. You can see some adoption of the new guard in Tsugupon and AZUMARION, but overall I'm about where I've always been with SKE. Ryoha came up at 28th, but that was a 26 spot increase from where she was in the middle of last year. I've definitely warmed up to her, but I still don't really think she's the future of SKE48. I think that title should belong to Furuhata Nao.
- I thought this year would be the year I had an NMB oshi. Milky had an awful time after the sousenkyo and it sounded like she was about to give up. Towards the end of the year, she did a complete 180 and feels back and better than ever to me, so the NMB tie remains. I'm happy about it, though. She's one of the best idols of this era, and I'd say the same for Sayanee. Very different, but both epic. They better watch Fuuko, though. Fuu has definitely come a long way this year and she might dethrone both of them as time goes along. Middle rankings are mostly the same. Shiroma Miru definitely won me over this year. She has done a lot of great work, especially in the magazines. She's quickly on her way to being a Milky-tier gravure master. Fujie Reina also starts her transfer with a good rank. I think she has worked hard to try and integrate into NMB48.
- HKT remains fairly stable with a few changes. Komada Hiroka has entered my top 5 and I'm pretty confident she will stay there. I totally fell in love with her this year. She's been consistently great on Odekake, she's super beautiful, and definitely the kind of idol I enjoy. Matsuoka gets a bump up and Okada Kanna takes a light dive. I love Okapan, but others have been more interesting this year to me. Hopefully she will get some more chances in 2015. I can see her overtaking Aoi and Rikopi again if she can just get the screen time. Meru also got a good bump. She won me over this year. Umemoto Izumi also gets a nice rise. She is so cool and an amazing ikemen character. I bet her rank will increase over time. Yabuki Nako gets the biggest jump. This girl has come a long way from the shy kid we met a year or so ago. She has really come into her own and is just great. She will go far as the years go on, if she stays in the idol world. She could easily be HKT's future, I think.
- Nogizaka46... yup, it's time to get the eggs thrown at me. I have done the dirty oshihen. I feel kinda bad about it because make no mistake, I love Kazumin no less! But this year, Shiraishi Mai has been on FIRE. And no, it's not just the photobook or various gravure-esque shoots. She has been such an amazing personality within Nogizaka this year. Consistently fun, the life of the party, an amazing performer... she has just killed it this year. And yeah, the photobook is amazing too. Everything she does is amazing. I can't wait to see her shine even more in 2015. There's no doubt she will.
- Overall.... It's hard to explain. I'm a bit less into the 48 Empire at this point. I think there are some management things that have gotten old, such as the never seen through pushes, as well as my personal opinion that the quality in music has seen a dive in a negative direction. However, my gripe has never been with the girls. I still love all of these girls so much. *48/46 has the best girls in the industry by FAR. It's sad to see that some of the production may not be as great as it once was, but I will continue to support these groups because these girls fucking rock, and they are worth supporting. Hopefully in 2015 these issues will lessen and things can get back on track. We'll see!
