Title: Impulse - Ch.4 (July 6)

So I finally decided to give my underrated stuff a rest and do something more mainstream. Well more like attempt this challenge given to me by dark-atrox a long while ago. This is a little different from those that I have been doing for my OS because instead of giving me a pairing and a few words, I get a prologue and an event that I have to fulfill.

First the Prologue that I am going to post is written by dark-atrox and from that I get to continue the story, I am not allowed to change any parts and details of what I am given.... Well technically I was told I could make changes but then where is the fun of it if I can just change anything that didn't fit. So I left the Prologue in its original form. The next requirement for this story to be successful is that there is a preset event that need to happen in the story that only me and dark-atrox will know and we have agreed on it but I won't be letting you know until I get to it so I don't ruin the surprise as we call it. The reason why this story has been sitting on my desktop for ages and still haven't seen light is that I'm hitting walls with trying to continue the story so it leads to where it has to go (the preset event).

I decided I might as well dig my own grave and give it a try and just put it out and at most it will flop and be drown in the sea of stories that have been accumulating  :lol: Along with this story I have plans to write up a couple other ideas that I have floating around for a while now. I thought I might as well write them down before they disappear on me like everything else that appeared during those stress hours of studying.... I don't understand why most ideas always appear when I'm busy trying to survive the world. The main point to all of this blabbing is just to say please be patient with me and my slow updates for the next little while, I'm trying to get back into the writing that I have neglected for so long keke.  :twisted:

Please forgive my lame titles, I'm really bad with names  :P So I just gave it a random name for now and see how it fits  XD

Impulse - Prologue by dark-atrox



Minami’s POV

I crouched down, sniffing the air with my hypersensitive nose. Just a block away I can hear a strong heartbeat, a melodic sound that was pounding to my ears. Running my tongue along my dry lips, my throat constricted as thoughts of the fresh blood I’m going to drink tonight flashed though my mind. I smirked as I leaped to the building next to me, immediately spotting my prey. I stood up as a smile crept to my face, looking down at the poor human who’s going to satiate my hunger. When I’m like this, no one can stop me from achieving my goal.

“Hey sexy, wanna go and have karaoke with me?”

A drunken man suddenly appeared, blocking the way of my prey. My eyes narrowed, anger welling up inside me. I really don’t want to do any unnecessary kills tonight, well except for my prey. But that man was asking for it. It just got under my skin when someone that supposed to be mine was going to be tainted with a bastard man like him.

“I’m sorry but I have to go home.”

My prey said in a meek voice, sidestepping to avoid the man in front of her. But before she could distance herself from the drunken man, he caught her wrist. Pulling my prey towards him, sniffling the side of her neck as she whimpers in protest.

“Pl-please le-let go…”

The man only laughed as he hungrily kisses the neck of my prey, his burly hands running to her smooth milky thighs as his other hand grab her left breast. My prey started to cry as she struggled against him.

“You taste delicious…college girls now are really amazing.”

 My prey struggled even more as the man started to back her to the wall, pressing his gigantic body to her slim figure. When the man momentarily stop squeezing her breast to unzip his zipper my prey find this as a chance to break free from him as she knees him straight to his core.

“Fuck…!”

The man groaned in pain, dropping to the ground on his knees as he nurse his injured part, panting heavily. When he looked up, my prey was already running away from him. He cursed again, standing up and give chase to her. As expected he catches to her and slam her to the wall, her head hitting first.

“Now, where do you think you’re going little miss?”

The man snickered as my prey dizzily looked up at him. My heightened senses alerted me of fresh blood, when I looked closely the side of her head was bleeding, the blood sliding down at the side of her face. I growled. This has to stop, more blood coming out from her means I won’t get full tonight.

Brushing off my hair to the side, I jumped down from the 13th floor where I was standing. The man, still busy with my prey didn’t notice my presence. I guess I have no choice but to indulge myself in killing this man tonight.

“Oi, you bastard.”

I said in an irritated voice, my arms crossed over my chest as my eyes narrowed at him. He jumped, startled at my voice. His eyes widened when he looked back at me but after awhile he sighed, then he chuckled.

“Oh! You wanna join to our private party? I wouldn’t mind pleasing another vixen. Tonight’s my lucky night I guess.”

A suggestive smile appeared to his face and that adds fuel to my already bad mood. I have a short temper, so man like him who thinks can overpower me was like asking for an instant death.

With my super un-human speed I run towards him, giving him a light shove on the chest. But with just that, using a little amount of my force he flew to the other side of the alley. I smirked when I heard a distinct creaking sound when his body hit the opposite wall. An evil smile appeared on my face. I’m guessing an arm broke, humans sure are weak. I flitted towards him, disbelief look on his face as he cried, cradling his arm. How pathetic.

“I guess your luck runs out tonight. Oya-su-mi.”

I smiled one last time at him before sending his soul to hell. And with one swift motion I broke his neck effortlessly. A satisfied smile appeared on my face as I strode towards my half conscious prey.

I found her beside a dumpster; eyes closed and sitting on the ground while leaning to the wall. The sight of her bloody face was waking up the monster inside me. I crouch down in front of her. Using my index finger, I catch some blood from the side of her face, and bringing that finger to my mouth to taste her blood. And I was right about her blood being tasty, but what caught me off guard was the feeling of pleasure I felt. Her blood, her blood was amazing. It sent thrills all over my body as it run through my system. The urge of sucking out all of her blood overwhelms me as my predatory eyes landed on her. I closed my eyes, relishing the feeling that washed over me as my fangs slowly grow behind my lips.

“Auggghhh….” My prey groaned making me open my eyes and retract my sharp fangs. Slowly she opened her eyes and hazily looks at me.

“Yo-you’re b-beautiful…” She said under her breathe, reaching out to touch my face. When her shaking hand cupped my face, she smiled. I can’t help but return the smile she was giving me. Somehow, her smile was lifting up my bad mood and it bothers me. Since when did a human can affect me, a girl no less? Shaking my head I took hold of her hand that was touching my face.


“Y-you’re still beautiful…e-even if you’re not h-human…” My prey said as her eyes closes, maybe the pain was already catching up to her, making her lost her consciousness.

 I tilted my head to the side, mentally repeating the words she said to me. I have to admit this but she’s the first person to say I was beautiful even after knowing what I am. Her words were creeping inside my heart. It’s frustrating because I was letting it affect me again. With a frustrated growl I punch the ground with all my force, making a large hole and making the ground shake.

I don’t know what got into me; this isn’t so like me to hesitate in taking a human’s life. With my brows furrowed and confused as hell, I bit my wrist and shove it to her mouth.

“Oi, drink or you’ll die.” I said gruffly, slightly slapping her cheek with my other hand. She groaned again, trying to open her eyes. After a minute, I felt her lick my wrist and started to drink my blood. I cursed inwardly. Trying to figure out why I’m in a mess like this and why I’m saving this human instead of feasting on her.

When she finished drinking my blood, the wound on the side of her head was quickly healing as well as the wound to her wrist that I bit. She’s out of danger now and I sighed in relief. My left eye twitched at that. Why I am suddenly concerned to her well-being? I’m supposed to kill her, kill her. I chant to my head but it’s not working. Instead I cupped her face, forcing her to look at my eyes.

“Listen, you’re not going to remember anything that happened tonight.” I said in a soft tone, working my hypnotizing powers on her.

“I’m not going to remember anything.” She replied in a flat tone, her eyes looking straight to mine.  I nodded, satisfied of my work as I help her stand to her feet. In the process, something dropped from her pocket. Picking it up, her identification card greeted me.

“Then let’s get you home……Maeda Atsuko.”

Its okay general I know you are busy and a lot of thing has been happening so after talking with
you last time on skype I decided to try my best to work this out. I'm not good with writing atsumina
but for you my evil buddy we will make this work =D. Don't worry too much, make sure you get
lots of rest and don't work yourself too hard either, I know work can be very stressful too.

Sorry I didn't use the original title, it was too long for my style ROFL (just kidding) but yea msg me
so I can show you what I have so far, I made a bit of progress and some changes to what I showed you last time.

Sorry for the wait here is the first chapter, I hope it's not too disappointing for everyone, I've been having issues with my writing since I picked it up again after my long break. This story will take a bit longer then usual for me to update since I'm really not good with writing Atsumina, I love to read them but for some reason I get flashes of ideas for every other pair and just not them HAHA.

I want to thank Blu for helping me with my first draft and letting me know what wasn't working out at the time. (first draft was just plain boring LOL)  :thumbsup
I like to also thank AFLynx for going through my work after to give me feedback and pointed out those millions of mistakes and helping me smooth out some parts of the writing.  :bow:
Dark-atrox - evil buddy thanks for the great story, I hope I don't disappoint you and of course thanks for those extra little ideas.  :twisted:

I'm starting to think going straight for an Atsumina challenge after such a long break isn't that good of an idea but I'll try my best to make everything work out and not bored everyone.



Impulse - I



After walking a couple blocks from the crime scene, the short vampire realized that she has no idea where the girl in her arm lives. Coming to a stop at the park Minami laid Atsuko down on one of the benches with the girl's head resting on her lap as she sat there enjoying the warmth of the sleeping girl. Looking up into the darkness only a lonely moon made its presence known, it seems like there will be no stars for tonight. Minami look down at girl sleeping soundly dead to the world, admiring how the soft moonlight ascending on her features. Minami couldn't help but run her fingers along tracing Atsuko's cheeks before tucking a couple stray strain of hair behind the ears. After staring at the sleeping girl for what seem like short but actually a long time Minami finally sighed.

"Atsuko..." she whispered the name again, unknown why there is a suddenly urge to call out the name.

Minami stood up from the bench and gently moved Atsuko into her arms, feeling her shift a little to get comfortable in her new position Minami took a last glance at the girl before tightening her hold and headed home.

"Tadaima" Minami whispered, walking into the house with Atsuko secured in her arms, she had ran into a bit of trouble trying to get the door open but nothing Minami can't deal with.

She walked into the house waiting for her sisters to appear, knowing that they heard the whisper and sense an extra body held securely in her arms.

"Takamina, who is that? Why did you bring her here?" Haruna ask as she walked out of the shadows, curious why their little one brought a girl into their home.

"Is that for us? How did you know I was getting hungry," another body came rushing out of the kitchen with a bottle of what looks like wine in one hand.

"No! Miichan she isn't food and you have some blood on your lips" Minami said to her sister shaking her head at the behavior of drinking straight from their prepackaged wine bottles instead of using a glass.

"Then why did you bring her here?" Haruna ask again, it's not like Minami to do something like this and she never seen their midget bring anyone home.

"Oh, our midget is finally growing up!" Miichan said as if something just clicked into place and the lightbulb started to work.

"NO! It's.. it's not what you are thinking..." Minami said with a blush forming on her cheeks knowing  exactly what Miichan is suggesting.

Ignoring her sisters interrogation, Minami slipped pass them to entered her room. Walking straight over to her perfectly set bed, she carefully removed the covers to lower Atsuko onto the mattress for some well needed rest.  'You’re still beautiful' those words continue to play out like a reminder on repeat as Minami stood at her bedside admiring the sleeping figure.

Turning around Minami’s hand paused on the doorknob as she prepared herself to face her sisters, expecting them to be waiting for her. True enough, in the living room her two sisters stood there waiting, arms cross with an evident frown on their face. They are worried because this is the first time Minami brought anyone home. Their resident and their identity is suppose to be a secret but this decision from Minami can throw everything out the windows.

There are hunters out there looking for them, what if something slips out, those clues will be enough to put them in danger and they are not ready to lose anyone to those damn hunters.

What if that girl is a hunter in disguise, what if she finds out about their secret, many questions pass through their minds as they go through all the possibilities. They had promise to lay low because it is too risky to develop any attachment to humans, it's like treading on thin ice and that is exactly what Minami is doing.

"Why?" Haruna glanced up and stared straight into Minami's eyes.

"I don't know... I don’t know what has got into me, but I just can't get myself to kill her... I trailed her planning to feast on her blood when the chance came but seeing her so vulnerable back there in the alley I just wanted to protect her." Minami tried to explain to her sisters, hoping they will understand and be able to provide her with some advice.

"You've fallen for her haven't you?" Miichan said as a statement.

"But how?" Minami is now confused, "I just met her."

"Did you feel a sudden rush of warmth, like your heart suddenly learn to beat?" Haruna asked, catching on to where Miichan is getting at.

"But how is that possible? Our body is different, our hearts don't beat like humans!" Minami said as she placed her hand over her heart only to discover the change. "H..how... This never happened before, I've never seen this happen...how.... huh" Minami asked confused as she concentrated on her hearts rhythm, it definitely changed.

"You heart, it's beating for her, listen to her heartbeat and you will find your hearts has synced, there is no way out of it now." Haruna continue to explain to the confused Minami.

"We, us vampires, our hearts don't forget once they found the one they are waiting for, once the sync is done there is no turning back." Miichan said trying to remind Minami of the stories they were told when they were still fresh vampires.

"You mean all those stories they told us back then were true? BUT they said it was only a myth, it was suppose to only be bedtime stories to keep our minds off our new changes?" Minami tried to reason with her sisters but even so she is starting to believe the words they say.

"They were only suppose to be myths," Minami whispered to herself as her sisters left the room to give her some time alone to think.

Minami spend the rest of the night camped out on her couch staring out the window with clouded and mix feelings. Everything suddenly appears so foreign to her it is almost frightening.


"What if she hates me?" Minami whispered to herself. No one said the feelings have to be mutual, and just last night she erased the girl’s memories through hypnotization. Her thoughts were interrupted by ruffling sounds from her room.

Minami quickly got up from the couch to check on Atsuko, just as she open the door to her bedroom, she felt her desk lamp fly full speed towards her face. Showing off her quick reflexes Minami dodge the flying object catching it before it hit the ground with one hand at the same time her other hand moved to intercept the next projectile aimed at her face.

"Stop! Don't throw anymore! I won't hurt you! You are safe!" Minami blurred out quickly hoping to stop the girl from throwing anything else at her but luck obviously didn't hear the pleading because she was introduced face to face with the holy bible.

"ermmmm... Sorry, are you …okay?" Atsuko asked the twitching body on the ground, finally recognizing that she isn't in any immediate danger.

"I'm okay, I'm okay" Minami said as she quickly sat up trying to ignore the soft giggling and muffled laughing coming from her sisters room.

"I...... Who are you?" Atsuko asked her initial fear suddenly dissipated after being greeted by a girl that is at least half a head shorter then her with a large bow tied on her head.

"My name is Minami, I found you last night in the alley and couldn't just leave you there so I brought you to my place." Minami explained leaving out parts that she thought didn't need to be mentioned.

"My name is Maeda Atsuko. Why was I in the alley?" Atsuko asked with the looks of confusion written all over her face, she checked her watch to see it was already 6 in the morning.

"OMG, I need to go! I haven't been home all night and Yuko is going to freak!" Atsuko said as she quickly scramble to located her purse and phone. Flipping the cover she found it filled with miss calls and voice messages.

"Errmmm.. I'll walk you home, its late... I mean early morning, it could be dangerous for you to walk alone." Minami suggested half disappointed that the girl has to leave already. She spoke just loud enough for her sisters to hear through the walls so they won’t be worried with her disappearance. Luckily their hearing only go as far as tenfold of the average human distances on open ground and barriers like walls and concrete grounds reduces the distances and reception. Minami didn’t want to think about having those two snooping on her while she is alone and especially not right now when she is with Atsuko.

The trip down the elevators was quiet for both, neither knowing what to say to each other so they just stood there looking ahead trying to avoid each other's eyes in this awkward silence. As Atsuko walked out of the building and onto the streets she suddenly stopped in mid step. Minami stopped to watch the girl look left and right puzzled at first until realization dawns upon her facial features.

"What's wrong?" Minami asked.

Atsuko turned to look at Minami before pointing back at the building they just came out of. "I live here..."

Hi, thank you to all those that left me a comment and everyone that left me a thank you. It really help motivate me to write and update when I see everyone enjoying my short little updates. Even if you don't feel like leaving a comment, just a Thank you will let me know if I'm heading in the right direction with the story so I can make proper adjustments to them before I post  :lol:
Sorry for the long wait, it's flu/sick season so work has been very taxing and I've been super busy dealing with sickies so haven't had time to update like I planned in the last couple days... Finally things settled a bit tonight so I can be online BUT I forgot to bring my usb *sigh* =.= so hopefully I can get it up by tomorrow.

Sorry for the long wait, I kind of got a little distracted with SKE's new pv preview that I almost forgot I was suppose to update during my break at work  XD. Hope this will keep you entertained even for a little while. It might take me just as long before I can get the next chapter out since work has been super busy because of everyone getting sick and all. I'm trying to rack up as much extra shifts as I can so I can get some extra spending $ for all those AKB/SKE singles etc..... I believe I murdered my wallet again just moments ago with a simple click......  :twisted:




Impulse - II




"Acchan!" Yuko quickly jump off the couch, closing the gap to where she heard the opening and closing of the door.

"Thank you for taking me home, " Yuko heard the voice of her best friend before she came in view of the missing girl closing the door and removing her shoes.

"Where were you? We were so worried! Who was it at the door?" Yuko started asking her millions of questions while circling Atsuko, lifting her hands and arms to inspect the girl to see if there are any damages. Well at least she tried until she was pushed at least arm length away before her hands got to roam any further.

"Yuko," Atsuko said with a stern voice

"I was just trying to make sure you are okay," the shorter girl said with a knowing smile.

"So where is the troll?" Atsuko asked before quickly ducking to dodge a flying stack of paper. Unfortunately Yuko wasn't as fortunate as the papers hit her square in the face.

"Who are you calling troll? It is Mariko-sama to you." A taller model like figure walked out from the kitchen with a cup of coffee in hand.

"Owwww, troll *cough* *cough*" Yuko whispered under her breath for Atsuko to hear while rubbing her nose. Atsuko giggled as she watches Mariko threaten to throw the remains of her coffee onto Yuko if she made another sound.

"So where were you Acchan?" Mariko finally asked.

"I found them"

Mariko quickly moved over to the windows to make sure they are shut tight and secured before motioning for Atsuko to continue. Their windows are made with soundproof glass and extra linings have been added to their walls when they moved it to prevent any information leak to involuntary and voluntary listeners outside.

"Let's sit down and talk, tell us everything that happen," Yuko said in a serious tone.

"Last night when I was walking home from school I felt one follow me, I walked into the alley hoping to lure her in but I was so concentrate on that I let my guard down for my surrounding..." Atsuko started to illustrate her story of last nights near death incident, "I was attacked by a drunken man and he almost..." Atsuko paused again still a little shaken up thinking back to the events last night and what could've happen to her because of her stupidity.

"You are okay now," Mariko said after placing her arm on Atsuko's shoulder to give her a gentle squeeze of support. Seeing how Atsuko is now sitting with them, they don't seem to be too worried anymore.

"She saved me,"

"She?" Yuko repeated.

"The vampire that followed me, she saved me from the man after he slammed me into the wall, she killed him, but I was too weak at the time to do anything, I was only able to focus on resisting her hypnotizing like we were taught so she can't erase my memory." Atsuko said purposely leaving out certain parts of the night that she decided against telling her best friends.

"She took me to their place after I passed out, she thinks I don't remember what happen last night," Atsuko continue before the other two could ask any questions, as she told them about her night, details continue to be left out. Logic tells Atsuko that she should be telling her friends everything, but a part of her want to hold onto those details and keep them hidden.

"Their? How many are there?" Yuko asked.

"Just three of them, I think they are sisters," Atsuko replied.

"Where are they right now? We should contact headquarters and let them know," Mariko finally spoke up after giving their situation a thought.

"They actually live in this very building just a couple floors up," Atsuko answered while pointing her fingers up.

"Ehhhhhh!" Yuko screeched, the thought of living so close to one of those vampires they hunt temporarily invaded her mind.

"I think we should take this chance to investigate further into this, I mean it’s an opportunity for us to find a lead to their pack," Atsuko reason with her comrades.

"That might be true and contacting headquarters might give us away since they have yet to know about us," Mariko said in deep thought.

"It is settled then, we will investigate into this matter before we contact the higher ups," Yuko concluded.

"Do you think that all vampires are really bad?" Atsuko asked the two retreating girls.

"Of course, why are you asking?" Mariko asked as a flash of emotions crossed her eyes, seeming to suspect more to the question.

"No reason, just wondering," Atsuko quickly replied with a not interested look, she isn't their school's drama ace for no reason.

Mariko only nodded before picking up her previously discarded drama script to continue with memorizing her lines for their next school play. The three of them are the top of their drama class in the prestigious school for gift students in performing arts. After Mariko and Yuko left the room, Atsuko thought back to the conversation she overheard last night when the sisters thought she was asleep. 'You've fallen for her haven't you?' those words continue to repeat in her mind like a broken record as the face of the short little vampire invaded her thoughts.

Quickly shaking the thoughts out of her mind she stood up to go wash up before heading to school with the other two. "Don't be ridiculous, there is no such thing as good vampires," Atsuko spoke out more for herself, but a part of her want to believe otherwise. Must be the after affects of her run in with the drunken man, how can she forget about everything her parents has worked for and their death under the hands of those evil suckers, she didn't spend all these years training to surpass her parents as the best for nothing.

Atsuko silently cursed herself for letting her guards down, before disappearing into her room.

"She is hiding something from us," Yuko pointed out as she and Mariko watch Atsuko disappear into her room.

"Just let her be, I have a feeling we will found out soon enough." Mariko said with her famous "I know something you don't" smirk that Yuko hated the most.

With one hand Yuko grabbed a dish cloth and whipped it towards Mariko hoping that if lucky she can wipe the smirk off her face. “I’ll go check our stocks of vampire blood just incase we need them. Yuko said walking over to the hidden compartment under their snack drawer.

“Make sure you and Acchan are updated with the antidote shots, we don’t want any blood poisoning from overdosing on vampire blood. I don’t want to have to kill you because you forgot to get your boosters shots every 4 months.” Mariko reminded.

“Don’t worry we made sure to take them at 3 months, since we take those vampire blood regularly to boost our powers to fight the vampires, training alone can’t protect our bodies, we need the extra strength, speed and healing powers to get a more even footing even if it only last a couple hour.” Yuko replied as she check through the tubes of blood.

Once Minami stepped into view of her sisters she heard loud and uncontrollable laughing from the two bodies spread out hanging on the counter in the kitchen. The sound of Minami's pleading this morning fresh in their ears as the sound of flesh to book ringed as clear as water, picked up by their extra sensitive hearing.

Minami frown at her two very caring sisters, before heading straight to her room.

"I hope you aren't planning to stalk your new love interest," Miichan spoke out.

"Minami, it is too dangerous for us to be roaming around in broad daylight, I know all those rumors about vampires sparkling in light is fake but what if you run across hunters?" Haruna pointed out.

"Nothing I can't handle," Minami grunted before closing her door.

"We know you are good that's why father has chosen you to inherit our family’s heirloom, the locket that holds the blood of the first vampire lord, but you should still be careful." Haruna continued hoping to get her point across to her sister.

"Is the girl really worth your life?" Miichan spoke towards the closed bedroom door. They know Minami can hear them clearly even if she isn't responding.

"Akibahara for gifted of performing arts"  Minami read the sign from afar where she spotted her girl entering along with her two roommates, they appear close despite all the bickering that goes on between them, just like Minami and her sisters.

Seeing the girl disappear into the building causes a tug in Minami's chest, she want to be able to watch the girl but the walls are getting in the way. She want to be closer, where she can once again smell her scent in the air that she already miss. Earlier in the morning when she returned to her room she found it covered with the scent of Atsuko. Unable to control herself she laid herself down on the exact spot Atsuko occupied just hours ago, taking in the smell that overloads every receptor in her body, the remaining warmth spread across her skin as a smile etched itself on Minami's face. That was the same smile her sisters last saw on her face before she left to stalk her love as Miichan put it.

Minami leaned back into the tree as she watched Atsuko reappear in her fields of view through the windows of a classroom but unfortunate for Minami other students seem to always get in-between them, obstructing her view. She frowned, this distances isn’t working out for her.

Finally making up her mind Minami pushed herself off the tree and started to walk in the direction of the school. A breeze of wind gushed by as two bodies suddenly appeared flanking her left and right.

"Why are you two here? If you are here to stop me then you can leave," Minami said as she continues towards her destination.

"We came to keep you out of trouble, we all know how stubborn you can be," Miichan started

"and once you make up your mind no one can change it,"  Haruna finished.

"You came because you were bored at home," Minami said with a smile, happy to know that her sisters cared.

"Hey! It's a school for gifted, you will definitely need us to help you get in," Miichan pouted slightly after getting busted by her short sister. Okay so she was bored at home, but she also didn't want her sister to be out in the open alone, so she and Haruna decided that they will stick together.

"With a midget and a Gachapin you will definitely need my looks to get us through the audition," Haruna said with a flick of her long hair.

"Errrm... there isn't any audition.... it's only an entrance interview, plus I can totally go solo!" Minami stood tall with her chest puffed up by holding her breath.

Miichan smacked Minami in the back causing her to lose her hold in her breath stumbling a couple steps before falling flat on the ground.

"HEY!" Minami shouted in protest.

“I don’t understand why I have to share a name with this midget, I’m obviously better!” Miichan retorted.

“Because father was drunk and forgot that he already used the name Minami for this midget,” Haruna answered with a bored expression. She turned to walk ahead of the two ignoring the pout on Miichan’s face and the tongue Minami is giving Miichan.

"Come on shortie, we have a school to get us into," Miichan said walking in step with Haruna leaving poor Minami behind trying to catch up to the two.

"Wait for me!"

LOL Minami didn't bite Acchan, she bite her own wrist and told Acchan to drink her blood  XD, so no Acchan will not become a vampire because of that.

I never would have expect that Atsuko's a  vampire hunter and what's more she's not your average vampire hunter. This is sounding like Vampire Knight anyway (if you don't know it, its a vampire manga).
I though she would be like a human, like the ones from those stereotypical vampire love stories, (though only this is girlXgirl love :grin:).

Then Takamina is the Leader sort of the Vampire society/group or whatever want you call it which is AWESOME!!!
Definitely looking forward for the next chapter XD

and I always love the no3b's awesome friendship antics XD

Sok I decided instead of hunter stalking vampires why not have the vampires stalk the hunters but I wonder what will happen when the hunters already know they are vampires.... I hope things will get interesting too keke.

kahem I thought a drunk vampire dad will be funny especially when he accidentally gave his kids the same name because I forgot he already named one Minami... That or he just really love the name Minami.

Nope I was always AKB and SKE as I remind the mortal up above. I stop there because 120+ girls are way more then enough to take up all of my spare time tracking LOL. Rena, Jurina, Kumi and Yuka has always been my fav from SKE since I haven`t venture far enough into Team K and E yet  XD

Just by looking at the date it's been a bit... way more then a month since I last updated this fic.... Sorry I got a little occupied with life. I have to admit because I always have trouble writing Atsumina, not because I don't like them I just never know how to write them so...... it took even longer.  :panic:

So to make up for it, this update is pretty much double the length of my normal updates.....

Thanks everyone for your patience, I will slowly be updating from here on it's not dead because it has the immortal touch!.... errr just ignore that  :lol: I have to thank brother Flean and buddy AFlynx for suggesting ideas for me to build on and shake my brain a bit so it can start functioning properly  :twothumbs

Impulse - III



"Hey, Acchan have you heard?" Yuko asked as she place her tray of food on the table and took the seat beside Atsuko.

"Heard what?" Atsuko asked half heartily while she concentrated on devouring her monstrous plate of salad and shellfish sushi.

"The school accepted three new students in the music department. You know how strict the school is!  For them to enter half way into the semester, they must be something." Yuko dug into her bag for her own personal block of cheese and grater that like to carry around for meal times. Without missing a beat she started to cover her plate of spaghetti with cheese until the plate is almost buried under it.

"Yuu-chan you are making a mess! Do you really need that much cheese?" Atsuko asked, half disgusted at the way Yuko mixed her plate of spaghetti to bring out the flavor of her cheese.

"mmph...mm..."

"Yuko! don't speak with your mouth full!" Atsuko spoke up, "You’re lucky Mari-chan is at rehearsal or you’d be suffering from a concussion for the rest of the day." After reminding Yuko to swallow, Acchan moved her chair slightly away from her little friend, to keep a safe distance from the flying hazards.

"Well, well if it isn't our drama aces enjoying lunch while everyone is busy in rehearsal. Shouldn't leads be practicing with the team?" came a bitter voice from behind the two.

Yuko turned around to find their school’s lovely diva standing there holding a tray of spaghetti with her two loyal guard dogs standing behind her. Seeing how the girl is holding the same choice of lunch Yuko quickly lost her appetite.


"Ray, what is your problem? If this is still about you losing the main to Acchan then you should give it a rest. Don't think just because you are the top of your department you can just jump right in and take the lead in theater." Yuko pointed out to the spoiled diva once again.

"There is no way this runt could've beaten me, the results were rigged. They were playing favorites, because it would look bad on the drama team if the music prodigy outdid your ace!" Ray poked at the two girls.

"I heard your department just accepted three students in the middle of the semester. I bet you they will take you down in no time. They will probably be the ones that get the honor to perform during our yearly senbatsu festival."

As Yuko continued to speak she could see the expression on the diva get darker with each second. Knowing she hit a sore spot, Yuko decided to continue to attack the brat in retaliation for Atsuko, Mariko and herself.

"Every year you only come in second after Acchan, but this year you won't even make it to top three because you will be dethroned from your top of the music department!"

Yuko took a step back after noticing the anger surrounding Ray. Maybe she went a little too far, but she definitely deserved every word.

"Oops..." was all Atsuko heard when she saw the diva tip her plate of spaghetti in her direction. Holding out her arms, she braced herself for the oncoming mess.

Atsuko waited and waited but the sticky plate of food never came, all she heard was a loud crash, a high pitched scream and the plate falling to the ground. Opening her eyes she scanned her surroundings and found Ray slouched over a couple chairs a few feet away as her flanks are at her side helping her up.

A groan brought Atsuko's attention to the body lying face down on the ground, both arms extended out and covered in fresh tomato paste and spaghetti. From the looks of it, this unknown person saved her from being smothered in food by pushing Ray out of the way and blocking the flying plate. Looking closely at the twitching body she noticed a familiar looking pink ribbon, and immediately a face came to mind.

"Minami?" Atsuko asked, a bit uncertain. Since when did vampires attend school?

"Bakamina!" Haruna and Miichan finally made their way over to their fallen sister, each taking an arm to hoist Minami up.

"Oops, I must've tripped. Sorry," Minami said to Ray before watching the diva storm out of the cafeteria, "Hi Atsuko, we meet again." The spaghetti covered girl greeted with a smile.

"Sorry about that, please excuse us as we take our little trouble maker here to the washroom," Haruna said with a quick bow before dragging a struggling Minami out of the cafeteria with Miichan.

"Is that them?" Yuko asked and received only a nod from the zoned out Atsuko.

"Seriously Minami what were you thinking taking a dive like that? You better hope no one saw you running over." Haruna scold her younger sibling as she helped pick out the piece of spagetti in the hair.

"Oops, I must've tripped," Miichan imitates her sister with an exaggeration of the fake dive.

"Miichan, stop playing around and help me get the tomato paste off of Mini, you know how she hates tomatoes." Haruna urged Miichan to help after she notice Minami's frozen posture when a little bit of tomato paste made its way past her sealed lips.

"Alright, alright," Miichan gave in and moved to help wipe some of the paste off her sisters face, "Mini me, you are giving us Minami's a bad name, how can the successor be afraid of tomatoes..."

"....."

"Isn't it your fault for always switching Minami's bottles with tomato juice?" Haruna reminded the mischievous one.

"Well, how would I know the little one can't even handle a bit of the juice and get a full week of diarrhea..." their two sided conversation continued as they worked to pick off the food from their sister.

"Our stomach is sensitive to human food. Any of us would have diarrhea with the amount of juice you added... but I guess this midget is just much more sensitive... and weak."

"Yea, just look at her size!" Miichan placed her hand on Minami's head just to emphasize the height, or lack thereof.

"HEY who are you two calling weak!! If you forgot father has picked me to be his successor! I surpassed both of you!" Minami finally came to her senses to retaliate.

"I guess that does make up for the stunt in growth," whispered the two departing figures, ignoring the shouting from behind them.

"HEY STOP LEAVING ME BEHIND!" Minami ran to catch up with those longer legs.

"When is Mari coming home? I haven't seen her all week!" Yuko whined from the couch while rolling around and trying to throw cushions at the reading girl a couple feet away from her.

"Don't know."

"What! Is that all you have to say! Acchan!!! Stop neglecting me!" the little squirrel pulled out her sad puppy eyes with her signature pout only to be rejected by a flying cushion, straight to the face.

"SO MEAN!!!!!!!!" Yuko yelled, while flailing her arms and legs.

Atsuko quickly hid her face behind her book again as she tried to keep a straight face. After one look at her forever entertaining teammate, she had to fight hard to keep herself from laughing, which is proved to be more difficult each second. Just as she was about to give in to Yuko's protests, the door flew open.

"MARI!!!!!!!!!" Yuko  jumped off the couch flying straight towards Mariko, who sidestepped away from her path without batting an eye.

"Haven't you been reading that book for a while now, Acchan?" ignoring the protesting shorty behind her, Mariko strikes up a conversation with the other presence in the room.

"Yea, it's been a busy week so I didn't get a chance to read. They transferred into the music department of our school." Atsuko said finally putting down the book that hadn't been able to read.

"The vampires? Really?"

"One of them seems to be head over heels for Acchan, saved her from villain Ray," Yuko said with a smile as she walked over to the couch to join her two buddies.

"Better than you molesting one of them in the gym," Atsuko retorted.

Mariko paused to look between the two glaring girls beside her, a curious smile slowly making its way up her curved lips. "Please do tell, I'm curious." she said, leaving no room for protest. Yuko quickly took up the chance to story tell their lunch encounter with diva Ray and Atsuko's diving hero.

"I laughed so hard seeing the face on that girl when she left with her left and right flanks." Yuko spoke, trying to hold herself from laughing too loudly as images of Ray resurfaced in her mind.

"So your mini vampire came to rescue you from bully Ray," Mariko reiterated to make sure she is getting the facts straight.

"Minami," Atsuko corrected.

"That's not the only time, she did it again when we were playing dodge ball." Yuko continued. "Ray had one of her followers throw the ball hard out of bound towards Acchan and she came to the rescue again, took the ball head on."

"Well I was going to try to catch the ball before it reaches Acchan since she wasn't in the position to dodge at the side, but the vampire beat me to it and stopped it with her face. The funny part is the ball end up rebounding straight at Ray and took her out." by now Yuko is already rolling on the floor laughing her lungs out.

"I was sitting next to her sisters so if I dodge the ball it would've been too obvious, so I was going to let it connect but I guess it never happened," Atsuko explained to the confused Mariko while they watch Yuko struggle to catch her breath.

"But Yuko probably got the most of out that incident when she tripped over the fallen Minami and went flying head first into Minami's sister Haruna," the evil smile suddenly appeared on their angel ace's features.

"It was an accident!" Yuko quickly shouted in protest.

"I'm sure it was, she went face first right into Haruna's chest and appeared to enjoyed some quick handling before she was slapped in the face,"

"I didn't do it on purpose and she did apologize after since it was your Minami that tripped me!"

"Haruna was only being nice!"

"So you don't deny that it was your Minami that tripped me?" Yuko asked again with a grin.

"No I don't... wait.. YUKO! She isn't my Minami!" the two end up chasing each other around the house trying to beat each other with pillows and everything they can get their hands on that won't cause permanent damage.

"ACCHAN!!!!" "YUKO!!!!"

Mariko sat there in silence deep in thought as she slowly took in the information she just received from the two younger girls. 'The vampire is in love with Acchan...could it be....'

"YUKO!"

Yuko paused from her conversation with Mariko to turn to the caller. From a short distance she noticed the vampire sisters making their way over to her side. She nudged Mariko in the direction of the two girls to give her a heads up, since she has been away from school in the past week due to her theater performance.

"Why are you two here? Where is the little one?" Yuko asked as they came to a stop just outside of their personal space.

"We lost sight of the mini, so we thought maybe you could let us know where we can find Acchan." Haruna explained to Yuko while being distracted by the tall model-like girl beside her.

"Acchan already left to head home early." Yuko answered, then facilitated the introduction between Mariko and the sisters. "This is Mariko-sama! She was away working on the musical that Ray wanted so badly."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kojima Haruna and this is my sister Miichan...Miichan?" Haruna gave the silent girl a nudge. It was odd to see the normally noisy character so quiet all of a sudden.

"Oh Sorry! Minegishi Minami, Nice to meet you," Miichan quickly introduced herself with a bow, "Hmm Haru ... I think I'm going to head home first. That baka probably already followed Acchan home anyways."

Miichan quickly excused herself from the group and made her way to the exit.

"I'm so hungry." Yuko complained

 "Nyan nyan want to go grab a bite? Mariko?" she then asked her taller companions but due to the lack of response Yuko finally looked up to find Mariko deep in thought.

"Mariko? Hey, HEY!" the shorter Yuko started waving her hands in from of Mariko hoping to gain some wanted attention.

"Sorry, Yuko I have something to do, why don't you go with Haruna," Mariko told them before heading down the halls towards the same direction Miichan went.

"Mmmmmmm.... Do you still want to go?" Yuko asked timidly, their last encounter still fresh in her mind.

"I'm not hungry though..." Haruna started. But once she felt the aura of loneliness surround the shorter girl, she couldn’t bear to turn her down. It wouldn’t hurt to just keep her company, after all.

"But I really have nothing to do so if you don't mind I can keep you company?" she suggested and was immediately rewarded with those lovely dimples that complemented her perfect smile.

*Miichan's POV*

Why are there so many students and people around? Don't they have class or something? With them here I can't speed up, but I have to get away from here…It feels like I'm being followed. This isn’t good.

Once I made my way out of the school grounds, I scanned ahead. Looking for the nearest alley, I quickly turned into the wet and darker path hoping to lose my follower but unfortunately I was not that lucky. Just as I was about to make a dash after checking to confirm no one is around, I heard a name and a voice that I almost forgot.

"HINATA! I know...you are Hinata."

I slowly turned to come face to face with Mariko. Even though we are a whole foot apart, I can still feel the intensity of the power she placed behind her glare.

"Mariko..."

lol I can totally imagine Takamina making a dive for that spaghetti... and then giving Acchan a goofy smile while still covered with spaghetti sauce  :rofl: Oh, and I can also imagine Takamina getting hit on the face with a ball... then rebounding it to Ray's  :nervous

lol the interaction between Takamina, Haruna and Miichan are hilarious too!  :rofl:

Okay so with the comments replied I should get on with the update. First I have to apologize for the long wait on this one, life become a problem for me to keep writing at one point then things happen making me almost shelf this idea and just let it die off. I like to thank all those that continue to remind me that you are still waiting for this to be updated and hence I eventually decided I should continue. I took the time to go back and rework the ideas to the story and change up the flow to keep it alive. Although there is still the problem of how I'm going to fulfill the requirement of this story but then there is always the option of finishing the fic but failing the challenge bwahahah  :twisted:

“Errrm… your name is Mariko right? What are you doing here?” I tried to put my limited acting skills to work and pretend to be confused. Being a young vampire, I still have many more years under my belt over them but.....

“Stop lying, you are Hinata! It’s you!” she shouted while taking a step forward, forcing me to take a step back to keep a safe and comfortable distance between the two of us. I put both my hands up hoping it would consider my words.

“I think you got the wrong person, my name is Minegishi Minami. I just moved... Ahhh” my attempt not to blow my cover was prematurely cut off when I had to dodge the blade that slashed through the air where my head was just moments ago.

“Wah! Hold on! Wait!” I shouted as I ran around the alley, bending backwards for those horizontal head swings then followed with a back flip to once again put some distance between hunter and prey. Slash, bash, thrust, slice, stab, strike... one after another it feels like she is out for my life but somehow it doesn’t. Doesn’t really make sense but it’s not like my brain has time to process all the immediate information anyways.

Can’t say I wasn’t surprised by the sudden appearance of her beautiful double blade, if not for my natural reflex from the many many many....many years of experience, I might be chopped liver by now. Ah yes, I can hear the newsflash right now…

*Breaking news to the vampire community: unidentified body found diced to death in the back corner of an alley. A gruesome hunter on the loose.  All vampires BEWARE!*

Moving on impulse, I side step a pierce and swipe, made a feint left before jumping up to kick off the wall to my right followed by my best flip I can ever pull off to land myself on my tall aggressor.

“Mariko, Please calm down, AHHHH!” I tried, I really did but Mariko is just not listening to me or has already tuned out my lovely voice. If not for the situation, I really would’ve stopped to admire her attractive hunting tool, well maybe, it’s not like the normal boring blades I’ve seen other hunters use.

No, it’s something that I would definitely classify as Mariko style... very classy.

It is a double bladed sword that stems from the hilt. It doesn’t seem to have a fixed rule for attack or defend. Making dodging exceptionally difficult when pressured by its advances.

Of course I’m not the one of the normal vampires either, I have royal blood flowing through my veins after all.  Oh right back to the sword…

Its sharp silver edge extends and retracts on either end forming this double-blade that I assume is based on the mastery of the user. To me, Mariko’s form reminds me of a dance that flows smoothly with nature, a flexibility that I have seen only in a handful of hunters I’ve met during my time. It’s not just about physical, it’s about heart, mind and soul... At least that is what I think with my mere quick assessment of the situation, who knows I could be wrong.

“Stop moving and stay still like a good little vampire!” Mariko complained as she continued to chase me on every corner of the alley. My speed is the only thing that’s giving me a slight advantage as I pulled off another ten out of ten points backflip on a wall.

The only thought that crossed my mind as I prepared for landing is ‘How did she know...’

During my movie like slow motion flip I notice a split second of distraction written all over her face so I took my chances. I immediately detained her by removing that dangerous sharp object out of her reach for my safety’s sake. With my own body, I grabbed her against the wall, trapping her there as I held her wrist above...errr beside her head.

I took a couple minutes to catch my breath once I was confident she is securely confined. Our close proximity brought back memories as a very familiar scent took me on a trip in the memory lane. Of course how can I ignore the warmth I feel flowing into my cooler self, her neck open clearly to me for easy access. If I didn’t have a strong grasp of my inner urges, things might start to get messy. I fought hard to keep the temptation from winning the battle but what really shocked me out of my trance is the sudden dampness I felt on my shoulders.

“Why? Hinata why?” I heard her weak whisper, her body slowly loosening from the struggle. If not for the fact that I have her against the wall, she would most likely be sitting on the ground by now.

“Mariko.... I..” I stammered, but wasn’t sure where I should start or what I should really say at a time like this. But then all of it didn’t matter because of a sudden demanding shout from behind me pierced through my eardrums.

“HEY VAMPIRE! GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF MARIKO-SAMA!!!”

Experience tells me its time to move and run. If I hesitate I might make a perfect pincushion or target practice for the new hunter that seem to just appear out of nowhere.

‘Just my luck today..YAY surprise!’

She must be one of the lower ranking hunters, seeing how this new girl is holding one of those boring looking sword/blade or whatever they like to call them. But still getting cut by one of those would definitely hurt so dodge and run it is, or so I thought. This new girl continued to advance quickly, forcing me to only be able to back up and cutting off most of my safe escape routes. If only I wasn’t so distracted by Mariko...

“Ahhh!!!”

Oops, almost lost my balance there, oh shit! I’m trapped now, please let there be miracle!  So I somehow stupidly ran myself into a dead end with no way of getting myself out.

I guess this is how it will end for me...

The sound of the water droplets coming down from the pipes on the back wall of the alley slowed down time but the pain never came. One at a time I eased open my tightly shut eyelids expecting to see a dark path that will lead me to the underworld. I am a vampire after all, never expect there to be a path of light for me.

But that wasn’t what I saw. Unexpectedly I see a shaking Mariko holding a rusty pipe that I assumed she picked up somewhere on the ground. The normally calm and controlled Mariko that I knew was at the brink of breaking down, distress printed all over her face, Sweat starting to build up at the side of her temples. The poor girl was already hyperventilating while trying to make sense of what happened.

“She is still alive!” I shouted to the frozen solid hunter hovering over her fallen comrade. I moved over to check the victim when the strong scent of blood overwhelmed my senses as I got closer.

“Oh my god! Yukirin!” the devastation in the voice just made me cringe with the urge to shelter her with my arms and tell her everything will be okay. I don’t know why she did that to save me but if not for her then I’ll be a goner.

“Mariko, come over here,” I directed my words to her as I started to pull out gauzes and bandages from my pockets. “Mariko. I need your help,” signalling her to come closer while watching her come closer to the unresponsive body lying in the middle of the alley. You can see by her actions that she wanted to know how bad the injuries are, but at the same time scared to know what damage her actions has caused. 

With my many years of experience I quickly stopped the bleeding before applying the dressings over the wound. I took a couple seconds to admire my perfect handy work before turning my attention over to Mariko. The poor girl still undergoing a shock to her system with her attention focused on the simple fact that she raised a weapon on another hunter.

“I killed her... I killed her... I killed Yuki....”

“Mari-chan, listen to me,” I moved to where she’s standing, hugging her tight to give her the comfort that she needs. “Listen to me… she’s not dead. Yuki is still alive,” I whispered in her ears. My arms moved on its own to pull her closer, just so I can embrace her how I used to…

“No, I killed her... I hit her over the head with the pipe... I used all my strength... I..” Words continue to spill out, her eyes focusing on the warm blood on her hands and shirt when she finally moved to check the fallen Yuki.

“MARIKO! She is still alive! You only hit her to protect me, she will be okay,” I repeated again, placing my hands on the side of her head, forcing her to look at me in the eyes. Once again I let my arms drop to embrace her after I have her attention to let her cry freely on my shoulders. She needs to let it out before it starts to eat her up inside, the guilt that will continue to build up as she stared at the girl she took out with a random makeshift weapon.

We stayed like that for a while until Mariko has calmed down. She moved over to check Yuki to make sure she is alive and to reassure herself that everything will be okay. She stayed there in silence, deep in thought as I watched her slowly gain back control over her emotions. That is something that I always admire from this girl, the calm and tranquility that she possess in most situations and her logic and analytical sense that many lacks. But of course there have been several occasions where I’ve seen this other side of her that need someone to protect and care for. Even the strongest will have a weakness right?

“Where did you get those?”

“Huh? Get what?” I asked not quite understanding the question.

“The gauze and bandages…”

“Oh those, Takamina tend to be quite clumsy at times so we always carry some with us at all times,” I replied, leaving out the details where the bandage are used to hide the fact that our wounds heal exceptionally faster then normal. If we are not cautious it would raise suspicion to others when they notice how the wounds just disappear without a scar.

“Are you feeling better now?” Trying to not make it obvious as I still remember how Mariko hates to be reminded of her weakness and an emotional breakdown is very high on that list of do’s and don’ts. I vaguely remembered the last time I made that mistake, it really hurt afterwards.

“Well... I guess she does seem to trip a lot for a vampire...” Mariko nodded at the question before adding her own two cents.

“How did you know?” now I am really curious and partially afraid that I can feel my heart rate speed up. Wait, my heartbeat or hers....

“You’re sure she isn’t dead right?” she asked changing the subject.

“She is alive, just unconscious at the moment. The bleeding has stopped too, she would just have one hell of a headache later.”

“Yuki isn’t going to like this when she wakes up...” Mariko said to no one in particular as she picked at the bits and pieces of dried blood matted in the long black hair. I watched her stroke the other girl’s hair, trying to untangle the mess a little but then suddenly went stiff.

“OH NO! She knows you are a vampire! When she wakes up she will contact headquarters! Hinata you have to run!” Mariko suddenly started, once again getting nervous and restless all over again.

“Calm down, she won’t be remembering any of this when she wakes up,” I calmly stated with a smirk and easily lifted Yuki off the ground.

“What do you mean she won’t remember! We can counter your hypnosis, once she is awake there is no way you can force her to forget” Mariko reasoned out.

“Trust me,” Miichan said signalling for the taller girl to follow.

They moved swiftly through the back alley taking a couple turns here and there before finally coming to a stop in front of a back door. Miichan shifted the unconscious girl in her arms so she can lift her fist to knock on the door in a specific pattern.

It didn’t take long for Mariko to recognize the pattern of the knocks, it’s practically singing Aitakatta in the forms of knock knock, who’s there. Mariko waited and watched her vampire companion’s face going from normal, frustrated to dull after repeating the patterned knocking at the door for a good minute or two. Finally just when Miichan was ready to kick the door down, it swung open.

“MiiMii, what brings you here today,” the girl behind the door asked with a bright smile.

Ignored by the unimpressed vampire, she was shoved aside for blocking the doorway. Even if vampires are strong, Yuki is light and with Miichan getting hungry, the close proximity to the smell of blood isn’t helping. Mariko could only follow them as they moved into a secluded area at the back of what seem to be a small manga cafe.

“MiiMii who’s the girl?” the owner asked, pointing at Mariko.

“Mayuyu not right now, I need you to do something,”

“Mayuuuuuu, why did you leave me all alone out in the front!” a whining voice made its way to the group at the back of the shop.

“Miichan! You came to visit us? Where’s miniMi?” another energetic girl appeared from the hallway.

“Do you want us to help you dispose of the body?” Mayu asked pointing to the body slumped over in Miichan’s arms.

“No she is still alive, I need you to watch her for me,” Miichan stated after placing Yuki down onto one of the chairs in the staff lounge.

“This is the first time you brought someone here alive,” Mayu spoke while looking past Miichan to the other girl behind her; the previous playfulness disappeared in the blink of an eye.

“Mayuyu....” Miichan tried to explain the situation but was cut off by a shouting Sashihara.

“WOW, look at the size of those, Mayuyu come here and take a look! She’s a hottie!”

“Sashihara Rino!” Mayu spoke with her best commanding voice to prevent Sasshi from hovering above their victim. “Not until I finish speaking with MiiMii,” an evil grin started to form at the corner of her lips as if she had a plot to take over the world.

“Mayu, she is a hunter. I need you to drug her with the usual so she will forget what happened in the last couple hours. We can’t have her report us and if she dies they’ll surely come looking for her.” Miichan explained.

“Can’t we just move? I can just make arrangements for them to change our shipments and it will be easy,” asked Sasshi.

“No!....Errrr Takamina is currently busy with something and will need to stay here for a little while longer, so we have keep this between us. I don’t want her to have to worry about anything.”

“If you say so MiiMii, leave everything to us,” Mayu said with her signature CC smile, which Miichan calls ‘Creepy Cyborg’.

“Okay, I’m borrowing one of your private reading rooms, and stop calling me MiiMii!” Miichan said finally realizing what Mayu has been calling her for the past few minutes.

“Oh, Sasshi if you dare touch Yuki inappropriately you will be scrubbing the kitchen with a toothbrush. As for you Mayu, you will wipe down every bookshelf and each manga until it is dust free everyday of the month!” Miichan shouted out to the two mischievious cafe owner just as they were getting ready to attack.

“Will Yuki be okay with them?” a worried Mariko finally spoke now that they are alone.

“She will be fine, but we have to talk.”

Acchan slowly made her way home from school after a tiring day of rehearsals and practices. Stopping to check the time on her watch, she noticed pink ribbons peaking out from behind one of the light poles. A smile formed on her face as she distinctly remembers the presence of the ribbon and its owner from when she walked out from the school gates. Every so often, Acchan checks behind her using reflections from objects she comes across to see if her cute little classmate is still there. Normally, this kind of behaviour will be seen as unacceptable and labelled “stalker” but when it is Takamina, everything suddenly becomes different and adorable.

Waiting for another chance, Acchan peeked behind her again, admiring how comfy that little kitten look in Takamina’s arms. When they first came across that abandoned kitten, she was sure it would end up as a snack for the stalking vampire but instead Acchan’s mind took a blow to its knowledge.

Takamina did the unpredictable; she picked up the freezing little kitten and started playing with the poor thing. Instead of sinking her sharp fangs into the bite size snack, she tucked it into her shirt keeping it warm and made small talks with the little fur ball. She even named the little munchkin ‘Nyaa-chan’. When they passed by a convenient store, Acchan noticed the vampire disappeared into the store and emerged with a couple bottles of milk and kitty chows in hand. This is the first time her hardcore stalker actually prioritized something over following her like usual.

This new finding goes against everything Acchan, Yuko and Mariko thought they knew about vampires. The ruthless and barbaric manners they have seen in the past were absent in the three sisters. Never once were they caught feeding off humans, and never once they harmed anyone. Everyday, they mingle with everyone at school just like normal humans.

Their actions confuses Acchan, this isn’t how vampires are suppose to be like right?

Before she knew it, she was already standing at the lobby waiting for the elevators in their apartment building. She can’t help but wonder if Takamina will step out from the shadows and accompany her up in the same elevator or if she’ll continue to be a shy little vampire and stay hidden in the background like every other time.

“Are you coming?” she asked, stepping into the elevator. Deciding to try something new, Acchan kept the doors open for her stalker. She watched Takamina trip and fall into view holding the same little munchkin in her arms, shocked from being found.

“Ermm, yea thanks,” Takamina stuttered before stepping into the elevator.

It was a silent trip up as Takamina was too nervous to speak and didn’t know what to say. Words tried to form in her mouth but it never made out. Every time she opens her mouth in attempt to start a conversation, the words just don’t come out as if her vocal cords just closed tight preventing any air from leaving her lungs. Acchan on the other hand quite enjoy the silence as she watches Takamina’s struggles to overcome her nervousness.

“Meow~”

“Hi there, and who might you be?” Acchan asked directing her attention to the little fur ball in Takamina’s arms.

“I found her on the way home abandoned in the streets. Poor little thing,” Takamina baby talked with the kitten in her arms while rubbing its head a little, earning another happy purr from it.

‘Wow, so cute’

“Her name is Nyaa-chan, right? You like that name don’t you?” Takamina smiled while petting her new found kitten again. This is the first time she actually spoke to Acchan comfortably when they are alone in the same space.

*ding*

“This is my floor, see you tomorrow.” Acchan said as she walked out of the elevator.

Once Acchan was out of sight, Takamina’s legs suddenly gave out and her whole body leaned against the wall slowly sliding down to the floor where she sat trying to calm her overly stimulated nerves. ‘OMG we actually talked!’ Takamina thought while staring at the purring Nyaa-chan in her arm. 

“Thanks for walking me home!” Acchan’s head suddenly appeared between the closing doors, smiling at the shocked girl sitting on the floor.

Flean: Yay you still get your impulse update even though there isn't as much atsumina as everyone wanted. Trying to build up some MariMii and work up their history a bit. Of course needed to intro new characters like Mayu, Sasshi and Yuki. I have a feeling this is going to end up being longer then I originally planned.... Trying to decided what I which path I want to take for the next update, but it might be a while, not very motivated to write anything right now LOL  :twisted: Maybe I'll update in another 6month  :twisted: :twisted:

ichikawa: I see Mayuki... or will it be  :twisted: for some reason this mighty vampire heir is quite clumsy, especially when acchan is around.

I'm usually not into vampire theme, oho but forbidden love is another thing  :heart:

Everything seemed unpredictable at first from the prologue and all, but now ahah I see all the pairings clearly hehe.  :deco:

Hunter headquarters is gonna freak when they find out all most of their hunters are falling for the vampires  :grin:

On another note Takamina is soo clumsy ahah, different from my first impression buuuuuuut She's in love now hahah.  Atsumina FTW! :cathappy:

MarikoxMiichan hmm...I wonder? They must definitely have some sort of romantic history with each other for sure lol.  :roll:

OMG. Hahaha this is so good. I can't stop laughing at how adorable Takamina vampire can be when she fell inlove with Atsuko. XD The cool and bad vampire aura of Takamina vanished when her heart synced with Atsuko's. Aw. This is so lovely..

I really wanted to know more what will happen, how will Atsuko make everything easy and comfortable for Takamina.. and when she'll accept that she's inlove with her too. Ahhh  :drool: And since Ray's present, I bet she'll help (aside from irritating XD) Atsuko to accept her feelings for Takamina... Jealousy is the key  :inlove: :inlove:

Hi all, I was recently reminded once again there are many waiting for an update to this story. Sorry to disappoint all those clicking in to expect an update but unfortunately not today. I guarantee you this isn't dead, I'm not dropping this until I drop dead. I'm just stuck with a lot of work and school assignments, not that easy to balance both and still find free time. I just need a few more weeks to get through everything. Sorry for the loooooooooooooooong wait and thanks those that still remember me  :bow:

Wow I just notice it's been over a year since I updated this...... So thanks for all the comments people have been leaving me since.
The first chance I get to write, I'll make it my goal to get this one updated first before any of the others.  :twothumbs
