I heard bits and pieces about this game and a whole lotta rhetoric in my Twitter feed yesterday. Couple things:

1) Can you imagine having a rooting interest in this game? I don't think my stomach could handle,

2) A whole lotta anger and bile was spewed but... I dunno, can't they just drag ass back onto the court and replay the last couple seconds? Maybe give 'em another second so the conference won't get sued or something.

I must be naive when it comes to sports injustice: these things MUST be fixable, no?

I didn't go to Rutgers but living in Jersey and having a lot of friends and family being Rutgers alums I don't think I'll stop hearing about this for years to come. They simply got screwed by the refs.

Unfortunately, from what I've heard, this wasn't a reviewable situation. The refs needed to whistle a violation in order to review. Since the refs were blind and didn't see a violation, no review.

Gotta say tho, pretty powerful shit from the other members. The Brotherhood theme is one that I love, that you go to war for your bros, no matter what they do. This is how I live my life and for my HiPstaz. Jimmy King nailed it on the head. The legacy remains, but it's pretty sad they couldn't really excel in the bigs.

And it really glares the fucking hypocrisy that is college sports. If they so care about their legacy, then fucking don't take money from CBS/TNT/tru TV and air all the games on PBS. They wouldn't be here without the college athletes, without corporate sponsorships for their goddamn research facilities. To them, it's all about they own face and recruitment numbers is what matters. Chris Webber is just another statistic and not a fucking human being who just needed a few extra spending dollars n shit. What he did, was his own fault but to fucking take away the Fab 5 from the history books. Shit is wack.

^ It really shows that college don't take care of their athletes, I don't blame a lot of them because many come from poor areas, and they need a source to help them, but from the rule it makes sense but still there has to be something to help them student-athletes
