Check out the trailer at YouTube!
I'm actually really excited for this  I was a HUGE fan of the show when I was younger, I even had shirts of it, haha. The trailer just looks awesome, it got me all giddy and fangirl-ish and I'm really excited to see it now!
I have faith this movie will turn out great. Its CG too!
-
I'm glad the new version of TMNT is actually funny. They're not all dorky like how they were at the end of the 80s. This is gonna be sweet, hopefully better than what the Transformers movie is gonna seem to be. I've got a feeling THAT one's gonna disappoint for some reason.
-
Omg!! SWEET!
-
OH SHIT! AWESOME! I've been a ninja turtles fan practically all my life
Looks pretty cool being CG and all. The live action movies were pretty sweet too(well the 3rd one was kinda crappy).
-
I did like the cartoons back then and the live action movies. This CG looked cool at first but once the camera zooms in on them I thought they did look dorky.
-
I'm really not bothered about this at all. For me "The Turtles" was too long ago for them to be doing another film. I say too long ago because they were like the first thing I was really into. The trailer sparks no emotion in me either so I guess I'll be giving this one a miss. Although I sort of felt like this about Superman Returns....... and I was pleasantly suprised. Hmmm......... we'll see.
-
erksss...wah...just knew bout it...one of the movies that need to be watch...
-
Arg.. why did they have to CG it? I would have loved to see a damn new TMNT movie done up. But not CGed. Oh well, I'll watch it anyway..
when it comes to cable..
-
excellent i used to watch the turtles when i was younger might check this one out
-
Cool...Think, thats a must have seen. Hope, it won't be too long that this come in our cinemas. 2-6months longer waiting then americans...
In october starts the new season of the comic-series(that new one) here...
-
koool! i can't wait to see this movie! i've been a fan since they first started out as a comic, then the cartoon, and the movies. i even have the toys! hahah....TURTLE POWER!
-
Didnt want a cg version. I thought it would have been a movie and nice to see it with croching tiger style fighting or something, but if you look closely anyone who ever owned any of the toys, (i owned all for a brief time) and they are modeled like the old school toys. I'll watch it praying its not as stupid as the new cartoon that was recently done.
-
I too am SIKED to see this too!! The Turtles look much more sleeker and can do way more than actors in a turtle suit haha
Loved the movies growing up too. Victor Wong RULES
-
I agree. The CG's look like the Battletoads when they jump around and once they did the close up on Leo's face, it didn't convince me. They look too skinny like they're crack or something. Where's Toka and Razar? Ernie Reyes Jr? :O I can't be the only one who remembers the ooze...I MAKE ANAZAA FUNNY!!!!!!
-
i wanna see that movie i looks pretty funny and cool!
-
cool... i prefer the big suits.LOL.. still looks coo though.
-
The article includes new photos and says that Zhang Ziyi voices the villain Karai, who leads an evil army known as the Foot Ninjas into battle against the turtle brothers. Sarah Michelle Gellar is the voice of April, the human researcher who serves as the Turtles' tech-services worker and mother figure. "Fantastic Four" star Chris Evans is the hockey-stick-swinging Casey Jones, and Clerks filmmaker Kevin Smith also voices a cameo as a greasy-spoon chef. Zhang! Sarah!!
-
No Shredder? How disappointing :(
There's only half turtle power without him...
-
lol.. all i remember about teenage mutant ninja turtle was.. THEY LURE PIZZA =)
-
thx to Masa for this link:

-
not a big TMNT fan ...but i'll look forward to it
-
Now this I gotta see!
-
I wonder how is this going to appeal to kids these days. TMNT movie series was made toward young people. They prolly never heard of them and the kids that watched TMNT back then are prolly in their 20s.
-
hmm not sure if the movie will be good or not seeing some of the cg's makes me skeptical
-

There is another animated series that has been going on since 2003.
-
I never understood the appeal of TMNT. The original black and white comics were dumb, the cartoon series was dumber, and the merchandizing and movies were the dumbest of all. A parody gone too far...
-
I never understood the appeal of TMNT. The original black and white comics were dumb, the cartoon series was dumber, and the merchandizing and movies were the dumbest of all.
The reason is that they were ninjas. And Ninjas are cool. No matter how green or dumb they are.
That poster looks dumb btw... and I still disappointed replacing Shredder with that girl.
-
Have any other trailers shown up for this new TMNT movie?
-
what? no shredder!? no way! it's just not gonna be the same T_T hopefully the fighting's cool. I like TMNT since Sega Genesis age :)
-
Urgh, the CGI 'human' looks lame...well, from what I can tell in the picture anyways. It looks like a CGI human when the technology was kind of starting out.
The turtles still look awesome though!
-
Wow... skinny ninja turtles :D i wana watch it when its out xD see how the new gen of TMNT is
-
i'm a big fan of TMNT. so I'll looking forward to watching the new movie:)
-
Looks pretty cool.
-
I was a big fan of the old ones though I refuse to watch movies I liked when I was a kid, it ruins the memories, just ask all my Disney movie experiences. Looking foward to this one though, hopefully it's a great movie.
-
i think the graphics were good
looking forward to see this in march!!!
-
have watch the previous one.. IMO, TMNT is for child (like them a lot when i was a kid).. now think that really not suit my taste.. seem so boring coz keep repeating storyline..
-
TMNT!! whoo .. cant wait for the movie. anyone know what its about?
-
trailer looks cool :) and i was a big TMNT fan when i was young so i have to see it :)
-
I first saw the trailer for this yesterday on TV. Looks pretty good actually, graphics wise it's better than the live action movies they had in like the 90s where the turtles looked kinda creepy ahaha. I bet a lot of older people will watch this for the whole nostalgia of TMNT. Brings back childhood memories aha. I remember the SNES TMNT game, Turtles in Time. So fun.
-
when i heard it was gonna be cg i was kinda disappointed...cuz they already did a good job with live action
but when i saw the trailer...whoo...looks awesome, i guess you just have to look at it in the point of view of a cartoon to truly enjoy it
cowabunga dudes
-
LOL, i think i still got the bed covers for TMNT :D
-
WTF!!! This great!! I'll be waiting for this movie. COWABANGGA!!!!!
-
Yeaah. The Trailer rocks. Would be a nice to have it in my collection.
-
i'm excited to see thsi film. i kind of wished that it wasn't cg but i'm still happy they coming out with a new tmnt! too bad shredder isn't in the movie :(.
-
Yea I kind of agree with you darkzorb that it probably won't get that many viewers. I think that most of their viewers are probably going to be those that are 'hardcore' tmnt fans even if they are 'too old'. The new generation of kid did kind of have a TMNT show to watch but it was not nearly as good as the older ones, so i guess they will have little interest in TMNT. Too bad they didn't experience the good old days of TMNT.
-
ok what up with the CG?
it look so weird
-
You know, I thought just like YOU...till I watched this TMNT Featurette

I just came back from seeing TMNT. It was better than I expected, I really enjoyed it. The fight scenes were really fun to watch and were well done. The humor wasn't as cheesy as I expected it to be, most of the time. The only weird thing was Splinter's voice a little bit.
-
been a fan since i was a kid, i'll be seeing this tomorrow night. too bad my gf refuses to see it. guess it'll just be me and some friends. she can't understand the appeal of mutated ninja reptiles off to fight evil
-
The movie was fucking awesome. I've loved the ninja turtles pretty much all my life and it didn't disappoint at all. Everything was done well while keeping it simple and rated PG for the kids.
I was probably one of the oldest guys there that wasn't there with a kid though >_> But I think that's a good thing as I wasn't expecting many kids to be all crazy over it. Almost forgot the power of commercialism and animation :P Now the ninja turtles will still live on with a new generation of kids.
-
Ninja Turtles, oh my god. I played game, and watched cartoon about Ninja Turtles. I like them so much
-
lol!!! hoping watch this movie as soon as posible ^^
i liked this when i was young and probably until now
-
What I don't understand is why they've got Zhang Ziyi playing a Japanese character......
Fair enough if it was a live action film because she looks Asian.... although she doesn't even look regularly Asian. BUT it's a voiceover! It's the most awful "get her cos she's famous and Asian" thing I've known Hollywood to do. I'm not really bothered but it's an excuse to talk about Zhang Ziyi with my friends :D
-
lousy movie, lousy plot. but the backgrounds were beautiful! not to mention the water effects in the rain fight scene....
-
No shredder = bleh.. however there's a big probability of a sequel.
the story is kind of lame.. and boring. but being a big fan of the turtles, I can bear it.
the fight scene is awesome! especially the one on the rooftop during the rain! and the nightwatcher is just cool.
oh and splinter sounds drunk during the whole movie, what's up with that?
-

they kinda hinted old shred head will be back if there's a sequel..........
-
I think it was supposed to be a sequel to the old live action movies. So Shredder is "dead".
Seriously, what did you guys expect from the story? lol It's a family film aimed for the kids. It was similar to most of the CG family films from Disney Pixar and Dreamworks, which I love.
-
I'm sorry but I'm with RickE and Burn on this one, I grew up on TMNT and had high hopes for this, but naw was really disappointed. You are right though Streak, I should have thought of it being more for the kids than for fans that grew up on it. The story/plot and humor was waayyy too much for the kids on this one. I just thought from the one trailer that didn't reveal too much it was gonna be a lil more darker and grown up, I was wrong.
It's kinda like the new TMNT cartoon's they've been playing awhile but I honestly thought it was gonna stray away from that, it didn't, it's...... blah!
-
i really love TMNT since my childhood haha i remember i had an action figure of donatello and raphaello...

Turtles Forever
shit i totally missed this!! 25th Anniversary animated movie that has all the incarnations of TMNT including the old cartoon series :w00t:

Turtles Forever Part 1 of 9 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRz2UXFA5yM#normal)
watch it UNCUT on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/TurtlesForeverMovie (http://www.youtube.com/user/TurtlesForeverMovie)
TMNT: Turtles Forever is a direct-to-DVD/made-for-tv animated movie that was produced by 4Kids Entertainment. Produced in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, the movie teams up different incarnations of the titular heroes—chiefly the light-hearted, child-friendly characters from the 1987 animated series and the darker cast of the 4Kids' own 2003 animated series—in an adventure that spans multiple parallel universes.
The movie aired on TV on The CW4Kids station on November 21, after the 25th anniversary Top 10 Countdown.[2] An encore showing will air from Nov 28 to Dec 12, split into three 22-minute episodes. A release date for the movie on DVD has yet to be announced. It has also been announced that the uncut version of film will appear on the CW4kids's website sometime in December that includes 12 minutes of footage cut from the version that aired on TV.
Trivia/SPOILERS!!
* When both the 1987 and 2003 Turtles face the foot clan, Rocksteady shouts "Say your prayers, turtles", a line also heard in the 1989 arcade game.
* When the turtles first arrive in the 1987 dimension, some of the humans seen working around include Irma Langinstein and several of the thugs seen in Turtle Tracks, including the pre-mutation incarnations of Bebop and Rocksteady. Several stores from the 1987 series, such as Ninja Pizza and Ninja Dentist, are also visible.
* Hun's mutated turtle form heavily resembles the character Slash from the 1987 animated series except for his scars on his cheek and his trademark ponytail.
* Two of the mutated foot soldiers appear to be new incarnations of Tokka and Rahzar from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. They can be seen in a scene jumping onto each side of the Party Wagon.
* Among the dimensions shown by the Technodrome computer are various comic, film, and TV adaptations, including the live-action movie, Legend of the Supermutants, the 2003 episode Same As It Never Was, and TMNT, among others.
* Mirage Raphael refers to the 1987 and 2003 turtles as "sellouts", echoing comments made by early fans towards Eastman and Laird in reference to the more tame, youth-oriented nature of the animated series in comparison to the comic.
* Mirage Leonardo's dialogue and inner monologue features several lines borrowed directly from the very first issue of Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
o "I [cut/strike] two on the way down. Donatello takes out a third with his staff."
o "The Shredder...has been shredded."
o "We are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We strike hard and fade away into the night."
