I think it would be a nice idea to make a separate thread specifically for covers.... Or just fanwork altogether. Maybe change the Graphics thread to... fanwork in general? Art, graphics, remixes, covers.... Hmm.

In any case, everyone who's performed the covers posted, really great job!

You guys are making me so jealous of your guitars.... TT^TT All I have is my stinky 1980's hand-me-down Casio.

It's great, but.... your guitars are freakin' awesome.

Man... I'm having no luck searching for SCANDAL sheet music on my own. I did find that Shoujo S score a while back, but.... I don't know where exactly to look. Most of my resources are for anime and Western scores. Lamb, you're lucky for finding what you did at all~

I don't have any bass tabs, but the best way to learn the songs is to figure them out by yourself. It might be challenging at first, but in the end it really contributes to your overall skills.

Well, some of the songs you want, I haven't played them yet (like hitotsu dake, daydream, etc)

but the ones that i can put where:

-space ranger (the first that i made ^^)
-sakura goodbye *it was incomplete*
-koi moyou (i love it, every time that i heard the song wanna play it on the bass u_ú)
-beauteen (realy cool)

from your list that're the songs that I knew. As soon as i can, i'm gonna to upload one by one (it will be great if you, as a beginner you are, play it from the easiest to the hardest)

as lambchopsuey says, the best way to learn to play bass is from ear, (or seeing how someone elese plays it) not from a tab. (only if you wanna know some arranges or minimal details)

i learned alot of SCANDAL songs watching their live preformance, but Sakura Goodbye bass tabs are preatty hard to get just by watching Tomomi playing it

so if anyone has the tabs, plz share here ^^ i will try to post some of the tabs i made ^^

Really thanks to u AREHO! (; but i have some problems to sync wif the song..

- each bar how many beats?
- x3, x4, x1 means repeat finished then onto the nxt segment?
- every segment is all connected? no pause segment withiin the song?

i have tot of sumthing which is, since i suppose we have the same song duration which is (3:31) do u mind putting the timing at the point when tab is inserted and end? becuz like the ending and some other part it quite hard to come in

Mmmm, i've made the tab without a specific beat timing!

x3, x4, x1 means the number of times that you must repeat before you continue to the next. (exept when I say that you must repeat the "A x4, B x1" two times, it means; A, A, A, A,, B A, A, A, A, B. ok?

The pauses in the song is something that you must calculate by listening the song a few times. Space Ranger, in a exceptional case, have not pauses.

Play the bass some times without listening to the song, catch the rythm, and play it again. Listen the song without playing the bass, and try to remember how the arrangements sounds like. Practice and more practice, just ain't another way

I had some time today so I tried to tab out the bass part on Sakura Goodbye.
I wasn't able to find any live performances to refer to, so I mainly went by the song and PV, and tried to see where her hand was, lol.

I gotta say, out of the four of them with their respective instruments, Tomomi is probably the most skilled.

But as you can see, its kind of difficult. I think out of all SCANDAL's songs, Sakura Goodbye has the trickiest bass line. Listen to the song carefully for the transitions. There are a lot of unsyncopated notes, especially in the chorus, that throw off the timing. I put the root chords above to indicate when it changes.
