Kurosawa senpai- nice blend of songs-
Okay here goes- and I am going to blather on a bit about why I chose
Ai No Tane 4 points (best song)
When you blend a great song, the original singers, and with very sincere feelings you get a big Pop win. Seeing the original fab five up there, backed up by live musicians, three very humble and quiet second generation members, it is a gigantic Japanese style sentimental weep fest, and I am jumping in this deep pool. Just seeing Aya and Asuka up there with Yuko, Nacchi, and Johnson, got my waterworks going. And then a quick glimpse of Aya and Yuko crying at the end is sweeeet. And it actually is a wonderful song.
Dekkai Uchuu ni Ai ga Aru- 3 points (second best song)- again, it is my own memories of seeing this song performed a number of memorable times- at the 24 hour television fundraiser (the super sad one because it had been a favourite song Morning Musume was a favorite group of a little girl who had died in a traffic accident, with her Father sobbing while the girls were singing and a video was playing with different home movies that Papa had shot of his little girl when she was growing up), C-ute,in their very early days, doing it when they visited an aquarium to say thank you to the staff and dolphins for hosting their day at the park, and recently MM, S/mileage and AKB 48 singing it together, again on 24 hour television fundraiser, and in the Hawaii version, this maybe is the golden days of MM, with some of the originals still there, all the way up to the rokkies.....
ROMANCE- 2 points (third place) a very, very solid song, with great vocals- and the Tsunku disco magic working well
Ai to Taiyou ni Tsutsumarete- 1 point (fourth place) Among the four songs, this one never stood a chance with the other three...not a bad song, but can't compete with the others
