I'm not sure if I see it wrong or not, but somehow Sayu and Koharu had this same white hot-pants (the one that Koharu wears in this photo), I mean sometimes you see Sayu wearing this white hot-pants I talked about, other times you see Koharu wearing it.
It's probably from wardrobe. Risa wore clothes one of the other girls wore too.
I'm not sure if I see it wrong or not, but somehow Sayu and Koharu had this same white hot-pants (the one that Koharu wears in this photo), I mean sometimes you see Sayu wearing this white hot-pants I talked about, other times you see Koharu wearing it.
Having other members wear similar or the same clothing isn't something new, they even 'recycle' bikinis.
In the second Morning Musume "Alo-Hello" photobook, Eri was wearing Nacchi's hot pink swimsuit from the first one. And Sayu was wearing Kago's red one.
I don't think it's UFA that are recycling the bikini's but it's the photographers or the company that they work for as I'm sure they have their own wardrobe for the idols. I've seen a lot of similar bikini's that have been worn by not only among H!P girls, but gravure idols as well, for example I've seen this picture of Takahasi and Aki Hoshino(if I'm not mistaken) wearing the exact same bikini/swimsuit.
I was really looking forward to a Sayu PB when Reina and Eri both got their PBs early this year..Maybe UFA's planning something special for her when she's about Eri's age when 17sai came out. I hope it's gonna be as classy as Maki's Foxy Fungo, that PB is simply incredible!

ok, this is still not proved (just some rumors I heard), but the truth is there will be 2 free slots in Hyper Night (thats according to the newspaper pic), and one of them is for Sayu...she probably wont get rika's slot, as that one is 1) live radio (means you need to be fully concentrated to prevent saying some dangerous things :D), and 2) late night (sayu is still not an adult, so she cant work after 10PM)....that means her show will be pre-recorded (as is Miki's dokimiki)

I can understand point #2, if actually japanese law specifies that... but point #1, as I said in another forum: her TV persona and her radio persona (where she can't be seen) would be very diffferent, and also I think it's rude to imply that her mental capacity is somewhat less than average. I have worked as assistant producer on radio shows here in Venezuela, and I can say that if radio executives are giving someone a show, it's because they believe there's an audience for it. And there are as you say two slots: the radio shows ending are ChanChaka Charmy and Country Musume's Happy Night.

- First episode of the new show. Sayu is nervous, as she isn't used to talking alone (there's always someone to help her in Morning Musume). On the other hand, no one will shout at her, no matter what she says. (:D)
- When Sayu heard she will be doing a solo radio for the first time, she was surprised. She was also glad though, as she heard stories about how doing a solo radio show is so much fun from Miki (:o). She plans to call on Eri or Reina to come in as guests once she becomes comfortable being on the radio.
- As the show’s staff don’t know what kind of girl Sayu is, she gathered some questions related to herself from them, and tries to answer them. Her favorite food is mentaiko spaghetti (no thinking here). She hates avocado and mango (though it’s the favorite food of many girls, and quite a girlish food :o).
- Sayu usually doesn’t chew rice when eating it (instead, she gulps it down instantly :o).
- If Sayu hadn't joined Morning Musume, she would like to have been a waitress (just because of the cute uniform and being cute and smiling all the time :D).
- “Describe your own personality.” Sayu thinks she doesn't worry much about what others tell about her (sleeping, or a bowl of mentaiko spaghetti would heal anything :D), but she is really interested about what the fans think about her.
- Sayu’s ideas for this show: she wants to have an abbreviated nickname for the show’s title, also a special show’s title for pennames, and new corners of course. Two new corners she created together with the staff are “Sakasama Panic” (listeners will send a word, and Sayu has to say it backwards), and “C-1 Battle” (the listeners will try to find something cuter than Sayu, and the staff will compare and decide whether it’s true or not :D). The latter one probably wouldn’t work, as, of course, there is nothing cuter than Sayu, but you can try if you want to waste your time (:D).

I was afraid of upsetting people when I booted Sayu...but I did that yesterday...my last edit today was my IMMUNE vote...from Goto to Takahashi.
At least 12 hours passed since my boot edit and no one said anything. I wanted to boot Sayu originally, but I thought it could do it in the next round...I PM'd a couple of people after I made the change to get their perspective and no on had a problem with it.
Anyway the edit was not last minute...and I am not the only one who has changed a vote during a round...it has become part of the game as it has evolved and we all became more protective of our favorite H!P members.
I think it is kind of unethical what I did...but is is also strategy that is being used in the game. There are some alliances that make it difficult to support who you like when you are voting alone so opportunities are seized. In GAME1 I lost my favourite...becasue the Wonky Crew worked together...I did not get upset (well only a little bit)...I just thought how can I avoid this situation. The only option is to keep the IMMUNE votes high at all times to avoid a "one" person edit causing a boot.
I changed my boot vote when I saw that Gocchin was at risk and Sayumi was too strong to keep in the game. I like Sayu but I also have to play the game and use the same strategies and allinaces as everyone else. Sorry I have tarnished the game for you reyfer - that was never my intention.

Sayu is not 18 yet and I thought the legal age in Japan is 18 for most part except in drinking (and maybe smoking I think)?
Age of consent nationwide in Japan is 13, some prefectures put it at 15, and usually is accepted that once a model or idol is 16 the pics can be a lot racier than before (without full nudity), that's why you see Junior Idol sites making the distinction between U-15 (under 15) and U-18 (under 18 ). And Himalia is right, this PB is aimed at a japanese audience, and the perception is different there.

I said it before, and here's again: the whole Futarigoto stuff was for PUBLICITY purposes. Watch it carefully, she eats something we're told is mango pudding, and right after tasting it she says she loves it and tells us that we can purchase it at a local sweets shop that happens to be sponsoring the Futarigoto :P Before and after that show she has always stated that she doesn't like mango. Its probably just me but she tried noticably harder than everyone else. There was a lot of edge to her dancing and singing that everyone else didn't have.It's not just you. She may not be especially talented, but she works damn hard compared to certain others *coughMIKIcough* who act like they're just going through the motions. Yumi always looks like she's enjoying herself, that's one of the many reasons I adore her :D

i think they are eating just fine and regular dude. the problem is i think what they are eating couldn't sustain the amount of stuff their body burns due to their busy schedule. take the rehearsals and concerts for example, i mean look at those stretching that they have to do...i think morning musume are like athletes, they maintain specific eating habits and routines to stay fit but i strongly believe that the girls are getting thinner due to lack of sleep.:(
this may be a possible explanation, but .... aibon never seemed to have underweight problems! XD - But who knows how she looks nowadays? :cry:

Sayumi Michishige, my new favorite MM member after Konno left. Its Strange how much she has grown on me. ALl though alot has to do on her part as well. She has improved greatly from the days of Otome Gumi becuase when I first heard her sing solo I was like :evil: But, her vocals have improved since then and over time she became my 2nd fav of MM. Then Konno left and look who is #1 now :D

Yeah, Sukoshi brought up a lot of good points about Sayumi's personality there.
One thing that really sticks out in my mind about Sayumi's personality too, is that she seems quite attached to her close friends and cares for them a lot-- particularly seen with Eri. I remember that they had a Surprise Psychological Test episode (just in 2006, I believe) where they had Risa and Eri play fake games and their choices in the games were interpreted for their psychological meaning. When it came to one of Eri's game choices, apparently whichever choice she made when Sayumi was her partner, it meant that Eri saw Sayumi as someone she could use. When that was revealed, the camera pans over to Sayumi who looks like she's going to cry. (The clip of it is on this video (http://www.veoh.com/videos/e140344e2P2WrJ9?searchId=72af4ac2bec4b68) from about 5:30-5:50.) So it does seem to me that she really cares about her friendship with Eri.

I just her PB, but I gotta admit, I don't really like it that much. There are some great pics, like the blue and white dress, the flowery dress with the blue seater, and the tennis outfit(oh, the tennis outfit.:inlove:) My only gripe is the bikini pics. She's so skinny now, I just don't think she looks good. The other pics were nice, but that's mostly what I thought of them, nice. After looking some more and thinking about it, I'm probably gonna do a little review type thing in my blog so it won't clog up this thread(and those that don't care what I think won't have to scroll past it:P). Sorry to change the topic at hand folks but anyone know what her name means? I haven't seen the kanji for her name anywhere so I can't really base it off of that. Or at the very least possible meanings? I have a feeling the "mi" is the kanji for "beauty" that we see so often.
