It's official, I will be joining the JPHip radio family starting April 25 from 2-4 AM EST & every last Saturday of the month afterwards.

I will be providing the late night beats for the night owls & insomniacs out there. The first hour will consist of mostly J-Pop but will also include my own productions, remixes and other music I'm feeling.

The 2nd hour is a straight up club style mix show of the House variety. Anyone who is familiar with a series of DJ mixes called "G's House Sessions" (say "hi" to the dude who mixes those sets, yes me!

) will know what to expect. For the uninitiated I play deep, soulful & funky House. Sometimes I throw a curveball at the listeners & toss in the odd H!P track or J-Pop remix as well.

Due to the nature of the show y'all won't hear me talk much, but I'll try to put in my half a cent when necessary. I hope some of you manage to tune in (even if you're half asleep). Any constructive comments, suggestions or anything like that afterwards would be greatly appreciated.

Oh... & thanks much to the folks in the IRC chat last night for helping me get things set up & running smoothly.

Yo, you gotta do the show at least twice a month! I think most of our peeps are playing mainly jpop so you might wanna specialize in house. But that's just my opinion

Okay, so after receiving some comments both in the IRC chat & in this thread I have determined to go with what I know best (& what no one else is actually playing.

) So 2 hours of straight up House music on a bi-weekly basis. So if my timing is right, the next show will actually be on May 9th. I mean, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I am posting this early in the morning

Anyway, I was considering moving time slots but... I'm not because this actually works for me & the type of music I play. Also, I'm going to make you stay awake on a Friday night/Saturday morning.

But really, thanks much for those who stayed up all the way through. I know it's a crazy time slot & all that so it really is appreciated a lot that y'all made it for any part of the show. Next episode is May 23rd. Will I actually sound somewhat less stick in the mud? I dunno... I'm still a noob.

But the music should make up for that.
